Calling on Allah as the Ever alive, the Eternal, the Owner of majesty and kindness, the One whose compassion and mercy reach His servants in this world and the Hereafter, and the Most Merciful, the reciter asks that wrongdoing be forgiven and that the obligatory and optional prayers and fasts be accepted. The request is made twice, first for the reciter together with others and then for the reciter alone.

Last night of Ramazan & First night of Shawwal
The Holy Prophet (s) says, I swear by Him Who has sent me with the truth as prophet, Archangel Gabriel has reported to me from Archangel Israfeel who directly reports from Almighty Allah that one who offers the above namaz will not raise his head from prostration before Almighty Allah forgives him, accepts his acts during the month of Ramazan, and overlooks his sins.
آنحضرتؐ نے مزید فرمایا:مجھے اس ذات کے حق کی قسم! جس نے مجھے شرفِ نبوت سے نوازا ہے کہ جبرائیل نے مجھے خبر دی ہے اسرافیل کے ذریعہ اور اسرافیل خدا وند عالم سے یہ خبر لائے ہیں کہ وہ شخص ابھی سر سجدے سے نہیں اٹھائے گا کہ اس کے ماہِ رمضان میں بجالائے ہوئے اعمال قبول کر لئے جائیں گے او ر اس کے تمام گناہ معاف کر دیے جائیں گے۔
Offer 10 rakat namaz, in the form of (2x2) in each rakat after Surah Fateha, recite Surah Ikhlaas 10 times. While in Ruku and Sujood of each rakat recite 10 times Tasbeehat Arba as mentioned below…
سید ابن طاؤسؒ وشیخ کفعمیؒ نے رسول اﷲؐسے نقل کیا ہے کہ آپ نے فرمایا: جوشخص ماہِ رمضان کی آخری رات ۱۰ رکعت نماز دو دو کر کے پڑھے کہ ہر رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ کے بعد ۱۰ مرتبہسورۂ اخلاص پڑھے اور رکوع و سجود میں دس دس مرتبہ کہے۔۔۔
سُبْحَانَ اللہِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلہِ وَلَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ وَاللہُ اَكْبَرُ۔
Subhaana allaahi wal-hamdu lillaahi walaa ilaaha illaa allaahu wallaahu akbar.
All glory be to Allah; all praise be to Allah; there is no god save Allah; Allah is the Greatest.
پاک ہے اﷲاور حمد اﷲہی کے لئے ہے اور اﷲکے سوا کوئی معبودنہیں اور اﷲبزرگ تر ہے۔

اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللہَ رَبِّیْ وَ اَتُوْبُ اِلَیْہِ۔
Astaghfiru allaaha rabbee wa atoobu ilayh.

معافی چاہتا ہوں اللہ سے جو میرا رب ہے اور اسکے حضور توبہ کرتا ہوں۔

یَاحَیُّ یَاقَیُّوْمُ یَاذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْاِکْرَامِ یَارَحْمٰنَ الدُّنْیَا وَالْاٰخِرَۃِ وَرَحِیْمَھُمَا یَااَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ۔
یَااِلٰہَ الْاَوَّلِیْنَ وَالْاٰخِرِیْنَ اِغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا صَلَوٰتَنَا وَصِیَامَنَا وَقِیَامَنَا۔
Yaa hayyu yaa qayyoomu yaa zaa al-jalaali wal-ikraami yaa rahmaana ad-dunyaa wal-aakhirati waraheemahumaa yaa arhama ar-raahimeen.
Yaa ilaaha al-awwaleena wal-aakhireena ighfir lanaa zunoobanaa wataqabbal minnaa salawaatanaa wasiyaamanaa waqiyaamanaa.

اے زندہ! اے نگہبان،اے جلالت اور بزرگی کے مالک،اے دنیا وآخرت میں رحم کرنے والے اور ان دونوں میں مہربان اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے اے اولین و آخرین کے معبود! ہمارے گناہوں کو بخش دے اور ہماری نمازیں ہمارے روزے اور ہماری عبادتیں قبول فرما۔
