Jafar-e-Tayyar
جعفرِ طیار (ع)
Namaz-e-Jafar-e-Tayyar is a recommended (mustahab) four-rak’ah prayer of the Shia tradition, taught by the Prophet Muhammad (s) to his cousin Ja’far ibn Abi Talib — Ja’far al-Tayyar, ‘the Flyer’ — on his return from Abyssinia. Its distinctive feature is the tasbih “Subhan Allah wa’l-hamdu lillah wa la ilaha illa Allah wa Allahu akbar,” recited three hundred times across the prayer. It is performed seeking the forgiveness of sins and the granting of one’s needs; by a narration from the Prophet (s), its sins are forgiven though they be as the sands of the desert.
PLEASE NOTE: Be it clear that the reason for presenting Translation is to understand Salaat and to recite in Arabic with concentration because reciting Salaat other than Arabic language (or Transliteration) is not correct.
سُبْحَانَ اللہِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلہِ وَلَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ وَاللہُ اَكْبَرُ۔
Subhaanallahe wal hamdo lillaahe wa-la ilaaha illallaaho wallaaho akbar.
All glory be to Allah; all praise be to Allah; there is no god save Allah; Allah is the Greatest.
پاک ہے اﷲاور حمد اﷲہی کے لئے ہے اور اﷲکے سوا کوئی معبودنہیں اور اﷲبزرگ تر ہے۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَبِسَ الْعِزَّ وَالْوَقَارَ سُبْحَانَ مَنْ تَعَطَّفَ بِالْمَجْدِ وَتَكَرَّمَ بِہٖ سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَّا یَنْۢبَغِیْ التَّسْبِیْحُ اِلَّا لَہٗ سُبْحَانَ مَنْ اَحْصٰی كُلَّ شَیْ ئٍ عِلْمُہٗ سُبْحَانَ ذِی الْقُدْرَۃِ وَالْكَرَمِ۔ اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِمَعَاقِدِ مِنْ عَرْشِكَ وَمُنْتَھَی الرَّحْمَۃِ مِنْ كِتَابِكَ وَاسْمِكَ الْاَعْظَمِ وَكَلِمَاتِكَ التَّآمَّۃِ الَّتِیْ تَمَّتْ صِدْقًا وَعَدْلًا صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاَھْلِ بَیْتِہٖ وَافْعَلْ بِیْ كَذَا وَكَذَا۔
Subhaana man labesal izza wal waqaar.
Subhaana man ta’attafa bil majde wa takarrama behi.
Subhaana man la yambaghit tasbeeho illa lahu.
Subhaana man ahsa kulla shaieen ilmohu.
Subhaana zil qudrate wal karam.
Allahumma inni as-aloka bema aaqede min arsheka wa muntahar rehmate min kitaabeka was-mekal a’zame wa kalemaatekat ta-ammatil lati tammat sidqan wa adlan swalle ala muhammadiw wa ahle-baitehi waf-al bi kaza wa kaza.
Glory be to He Who covers Himself with honour and dignity. Glory be to He Who bestows favours abundantly, therefore surpasses in glory. Glory be to He except whom none is worthy of glorification. Glory be to He Whose wisdom surrounds everything; Glory be to He Who owns favours and bounties, Glory be to He who is the Lord of Power and Generosity. O Allah! Beseech Thee in the name of that which is the cause of the majesty of Thy Arsh; and is the ultimate mercy in Thy book, and (in the name of) Thy “ ismi Aazam” and Thy complete and perfect words which have been made thorough and conclusive through truth and justice. Send blessings on Muhammad and on the progeny of Muhammad.
پاک ہے وہ جس نے عزّت و وقار کا لباس پہنا ہوا ہے۔ پاک ہے وہ جو بزرگی پر ناز کرتا ہے اور بزرگی ظاہر فرماتا ہے۔ پاک ہے وہ جس کے علاوہ کوئی اور لائقِ تسبیح نہیں۔ پاک ہے وہ جوہر چیز کی تعدادکا علم رکھتا ہے۔ پاک ہے وہ جو صاحب ِاحسان و نعمت ہے۔ پاک ہے وہ جو صاحب ِقدرت و بزرگی ہے۔ اے معبود!بے شک میں تیرے عرش کے بلند مقامات تیری کتاب کی انتہائے رحمت اور تیرے اسم اعظم اور تیرے کامل کلمات، جو صدق وعدل میں پورے ہیں۔( ان) کے واسطے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ تو حضرت محمدؐ اور ان کے اہل بیتؑ پر رحمت فرما اورمیری فلاں فلاں حاجت پوری کر۔
يَارَبِّ يَارَبِّ
Ya rabbe, ya rabbe
O Lord, O Lord!
اے میرے رب اے میرے رب!
يَارَبَّاهٗ يَارَبَّاهٗ
Ya rabbahu, ya rabbahu
O my Lord, O my Lord!
اے پروردگار اے پروردگار!
رَبِّ رَبِّ
Rabbe, rabbe
Lord, Lord!
میرے رب میرے رب۔
يَااَللهُ يَااَللهُ
Ya allaho, ya allaho
O Allah, O Allah!
اے اللہ اے اللہ۔
يَاحَىُّ يَاحَىُّ
Ya haiyyo, ya haiyyo
O Ever-living, O Ever-living!
اے زندہ اے زندہ۔
يَارَحِيْمُ يَارَحِيْمُ
Ya raheemo, ya raheemo
O All-merciful, O All-merciful!
اے مہربان اے مہربان۔
يَارَحْمٰنُ يَارَحْمٰنُ
Ya rehmaano, ya rehmaano
O All-compassionate, O All-compassionate!
اے بڑے ر حم والے اے بڑ ے رحم والے!
يَااَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ۔
Ya arhamar raahemina.
O Most Merciful of all those who show mercy!
اے سب سے ز یا دہ ر حم کرنے والے۔

اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَفْتَتِحُ الْقَوْلَ بِحَمْدِكَ وَاَنْطِقُ بِالثَّنَآءِ عَلَیْكَ وَاُمَجِّدُكَ وَلَا غَایَۃَ لِمَدْحِكَ وَاُثْنِیْ عَلَیْكَ وَمَنْ یَبْلُغُ غَایَۃَ ثَنَآئِكَ وَاَمَدَ مَجْدِكَ وَاَنّٰی لِخَلِیْقَتِكَ كُنْہُ مَعْرِفَۃِ مَجْدِكَ وَاَیَّ زَمَنٍ لَمْ تَكُنْ مَمْدُوْحًا بِفَضْلِكَ مَوْصُوْفًا بِمَجْدِكَ عَوَّادًا عَلَی الْمُذْنِبِیْنَ بِحِلْمِكَ تَخَلَّفَ سُكَّانُ اَرْضِكَ عَنْ طَاعَتِكَ فَكُنْتَ عَلَیْھِمْ عَطُوْفًا بِجُوْدِكَ جَوَادًا بِفَضْلِكَ عَوَّادًا بِكَرَمِكَ یَالَآ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ الْمَنَّانُ ذُوْ الْجَلَالِ وَالْاِكْرَامِ۔
Allahumma inni aftatehul qaula be-hamdeka wa anteqo bissana’e alaika wa omajje-doka wa-la ghaayata le-madheka wa usni alaika wa man yablogho ghaayata sana’eka wa amada majdeka wa anna le-khaliqateka kunho ma’refate majdeka wa ayya zamaneen lam takoon mamdoohan be-fazleka mawsufan be-majdeka awwaadan alal muznebeena be-hilmeka takhallafa sukkaano arzeka an ta’ateka fa kunta alaihim ’atufan be-judeka jawaadan be-fazleka awwaadan be-karameka ya la ilaaha illa antal mannaano zul jalaale wal ikraam.
O Allah! I beseech You from everything which Muhammad and his progeny have asked, and I take refuge with You from everything Muhammad and his progeny have sought refuge. O Allah! Give me all best goodness, and keep away from me all what You have decreed from evil, or trial, and forgive me what You know about me, and that certainly You have recorded for me from my sins, and fulfill my needs in what You are pleased with and is in my interest, O Lord of graciousness and favour! And expand for me sustenance and life-term, and save me from my grievances appertained to my world and my hereafter, surely You have power over everything.
اے معبود! میں تیری حمد کے ساتھ آغازِ سخن کرتا ہوں اور تیری ثنا کرتے ہوئے بولتا ہوں تیری بزرگی بیان کرتا ہوں تیری تعریف کی کوئی انتہا نہیں میں تیرا ثنا خواں ہوں اور کون تیری ثنا کی حد اور تیری بزرگی کی انتہا تک پہنچ سکتا ہے، تیرے پیدا کیے ہوئے کیوں کر تیری بزرگی تک پہنچ سکتے ہیں وہ کون سا زمانہ ہے جس میں تو اپنے فضل کے باعث لائق ِمدح اپنی بزرگی میں قابل ِذکراور اپنے حلم کی بدولت گناہگاروں پر کرم نہ کرتا تھا تیری زمین پر رہنے والوں نے تیری فرماں برداری سے منہ موڑا لیکن تو ان کے لئے اپنی بخشش سے مہربان اپنے فضل سے سخی اور اپنے کرم سے توجہ فرمارہا ہے اے وہ جس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں تو احسان کرنے والا صاحب ِجلالت اور شان والا ہے۔
