Namaz of Fear
نمازِ خوف
The reciter calls upon Allah as the Ever-Living and the Sustainer, beside whom there is no god, seeks help by His mercy, and asks Him to send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad and to give help at that very moment. The prayer then asks Allah to be gentle with the reciter, to grant victory, and to plan and contrive on the reciter's behalf. It ends by asking to be spared the harm of a particular person, named in the text only as so-and-so, son of so-and-so.
To dispel Fear of Oppressors
PLEASE NOTE: Be it clear that the reason for presenting Translation is to understand Salaat and to recite in Arabic with concentration because reciting Salaat other than Arabic language (or Transliteration) is not correct.
يَا حَىُّ يَا قَيُّوْمُ يَا حَيًّا لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ اَسْتَغِيْثُ فَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاَغِثْنِى السَّاعَةَ السَّاعَةَ۔
Ya haiyyo ya qaiyyoom, ya haiyyan la ilaaha illa anta be-rehmateka astagheeso fa salle alaa muhammadin wa aale muhammadin wa aghisnis saa’atas saa’ah.
O Ever-Living, O Sustainer! O Living One there is no god except You. By Your mercy I seek help. So send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and help me this moment, this very moment.
اے زندہ!اے پائندہ، اے زندہ، نہیں معبودمگر تو ہے تیری رحمت کے واسطے سےفریاد کرتا ہوں کہ رحمت فرما محمدؐ وآل محمدؐ پراور میری مدد کر اسی وقت اسی گھڑی۔
اَسْئَلُكَ اَللّٰهُمَّ اَنْ تُصَلِّىَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاَنْ تَلْطُفَ لِىْ وَاَنْ تَغْلِبَ لِىْ وَاَنْ تَمْكُرَلِىْ وَاَنْ تَخْدَعَ لِىْ وَاَنْ تَكِيْدَلِىْ وَاَنْ تَكْفِيَنِىْ مَؤُنَةَ فُلَانَ بْنِ فُلَانَ۔
As-aloka, allahumma an to-salleya alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin, wa an taltofa-li, wa an taghleba-li, wa an tamkora-li, wa an takhda’a-li, wa an takeeda-li, wa an takfeyani mownata folaana bin folaan.
I ask You, O Allah, to send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad; and to be gentle with me; and to grant me victory; and to plan on my behalf, and to outmaneuver on my behalf, and to devise a strategy on my behalf; and to spare me (and suffice me against) the burden (harm) of so-and-so, son of so-and-so.
تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں اے معبودکہ رحمت فرما محمدؐوآل محمدؐ پر اور مجھ پر مہربانی کر نیز یہ کہ میری خاطر اس پر غلبہ کر اس کے لئے تدبیر جوڑ، اسے دھوکے میں ڈال، اسے غلط فہمی میں رکھ اور میرے فلاں ابن فلاں دشمن کے خلاف میری مدد فرما۔
