Surah Furqaan (25, 77 ayat)سورۂ فرقان

In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

Blessed is He Who sent down the Furqan upon His servant that he may be a warner to the nations;

بابرکت ہے وہ خدا جس نے اپنے بندے پر فرقان نازل کیا ہے تاکہ وہ سارے عالمین کے لئے عذابِ الٰہی سے ڈرانے والا بن جائے۔

He, Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and Who did not take to Himself a son, and Who has no associate in the kingdom, and Who created everything, then ordained for it a measure.

آسمان و زمین کا سارا ملک اسی کے لئے ہے اور اس نے نہ کوئی فرزند بنایا ہے اور نہ کوئی اس کے ملک میں شریک ہے اس نے ہر شے کو خلق کیا ہے اور صحیح اندازے کے مطابق درست بنایا ہے۔

And they have taken besides Him gods, who do not create anything while they are themselves created, and they control not for themselves any harm or profit, and they control not death, nor life, nor raising (the dead) to life.

اور ان لوگوں نے خدا کو چھوڑ کر ایسے خدا بنا لئے ہیں جو کسی بھی شے کے خالق نہیں ہیں بلکہ خود ہی مخلوق ہیں اور خود اپنے واسطے بھی کسی نقصان یا نفع کے مالک نہیں ہیں اور نہ ان کے اختیار میں موت و حیات یا حشر و نشر ہی ہے۔

And those who disbelieve say: This is nothing but a lie which he has forged, and other people have helped him at it; so indeed they have done injustice and (uttered) a falsehood.

اور یہ کفار کہتے ہیں کہ یہ قرآن صرف ایک جھوٹ ہے جسے انہوں نے گڑھ لیا ہے اور ایک دوسری قوم نے اس کام میں ان کی مدد کی ہے حالانکہ ان لوگوں نے خود ہی بڑا ظلم اور فریب کیا ہے۔

And they say: The stories of the ancients- he has got them written- so these are read out to him morning and evening.

اور یہ لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ یہ تو صرف اگلے لوگوں کے افسانے ہیں جسے انہوں نے لکھوا لیا ہے اور وہی صبح و شام ان کے سامنے پڑھے جاتے ہیں۔

Say: He has revealed it Who knows the secret in the heavens and the earth; surely He is ever Forgiving, Merciful.

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ اس قرآن کو اس نے نازل کیا ہے جو آسمانوں اور زمین کے رازوں سے باخبر ہے اور یقینًا وہ بڑا بخشنے والا اور مہربان ہے۔

And they say: What is the matter with this Apostle that he eats food and goes about in the markets; why has not an angel been sent down to him, so that he should have been a warner with him?

اور یہ لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ اس رسول کو کیا ہو گیا ہے کہ یہ کھانا بھی کھاتا ہے اور بازاروں میں چکر بھی لگاتا ہے اور اس کے پاس کوئی ملک کیوں نہیں نازل کیا جاتا جو اس کے ساتھ مل کر عذابِ الٰہی سے ڈرانے والا ثابت ہو۔

Or (why is not) a treasure sent down to him, or he is made to have a garden from which he should eat? And the unjust say: You do not follow any but a man deprived of reason.

یا اس کی طرف کوئی خزانہ ہی گرا دیا جاتا یا اس کے پاس کوئی باغ ہی ہوتا جس سے کھاتا پیتا اور پھر یہ ظالم کہتے ہیں کہ تم لوگ تو ایک جادو زدہ آدمی کا اتباع کر رہے ہو۔

See what likenesses do they apply to you, so they have gone astray, therefore they shall not be able to find a way.

دیکھو ان لوگوں نے تمہارے لئے کیسی کیسی مثالیں بیان کی ہیں یہ تو بالکل گمراہ ہو گئے ہیں اور اب راستہ نہیں پا سکتے ہیں۔

Blessed is He Who, if He please, will give you what is better than this, gardens beneath which rivers flow, and He will give you palaces.

بابرکت ہے وہ ذات جو اگر چاہے تو تمہارے لئے اس سے بہتر سامان فراہم کر دے ایسی جنتیں جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں اور پھر تمہارے لئے بڑے بڑے محل بھی بنا دے۔

But they reject the hour, and We have prepared a burning fire for him who rejects the hour.

حقیقت یہ ہے کہ ان لوگوں نے قیامت کا انکار کیا ہے اور ہم نے قیامت کا انکار کرنے والوں کے لئے جہنّم مہیّا کر دیا ہے۔

When it shall come into their sight from a distant place, they shall hear its vehement raging and roaring.

جب آتش جہنّم ان لوگوں کو دور سے دیکھے گی تو یہ لوگ اس کے جوش و خروش کی آوازیں سنیں گے۔

And when they are cast into a narrow place in it, bound, they shall there call out for destruction.

اور جب انہیں زنجیروں میں جکڑ کر کسی تنگ جگہ میں ڈال دیا جائے تو وہاں موت کی دہائی دیں گے۔

Call not this day for one destruction, but call for destructions many.

اس وقت ان سے کہا جائے گا کہ ایک موت کو نہ پکارو بلکہ بہت سی موتوں کو آواز دو۔

Say: Is this better or the abiding garden which those who guard (against evil) are promised? That shall be a reward and a resort for them.

پیغمبرآپ ان سے پوچھئے کہ یہ عذاب زیادہ بہتر ہے یا وہ ہمیشگی کی جنّت جس کا صاحبانِ تقویٰ سے وعدہ کیا گیا ہے اور وہی ان کی جزا بھی ہے اور ان کا ٹھکانا بھی۔

They shall have therein what they desire abiding (in it); it is a promise which it is proper to be prayed for from your Lord.

ان کے لئے وہاں ہر خواہش کا سامان موجود ہے اور وہ اس میں ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہیں اور یہ پروردگار کے ذمہ ایک لازمی وعدہ ہے۔

And on the day when He shall gather them, and whatever they served besides Allah, He shall say: Was it you who led astray these My servants, or did they themselves go astray from the path?

اور جس دن بھی خدا ان کو اور ان کے خداؤں کو جنہیں یہ خدا کو چھوڑ کر پکارا کرتے تھے سب کو ایک منزل پر جمع کرے گا اور پوچھے گا کہ تم نے میرے بندوں کو گمراہ کیا تھا یا یہ ازخود بھٹک گئے تھے۔

They shall say: Glory be to Thee; it was not beseeming for us that we should take any guardians besides Thee, but Thou didst make them and their fathers to enjoy until they forsook the reminder, and they were a people in perdition

تو یہ سب کہیں گے کہ تو پاک اور بے نیاز ہے اور ہمیں کیا حق ہے کہ تیرے علاوہ کسی اور کو اپنا سرپرست بنائیں اصل بات یہ ہے کہ تو نے انہیں اور ان کے بزرگوں کو عزّتِ دنیا عطا کر دی تو یہ تیری یاد سے غافل ہو گئے اس لئے کہ یہ ہلاک ہونے والے لوگ ہی تھے۔

So they shall indeed give you the lie in what you say, then you shall not be able to ward off or help, and whoever among you is unjust, We will make him taste a great chastisement.

دیکھا تم لوگوں نے کہ تمہیں وہ بھی جھٹلا رہے ہیں جنہیں تم نے خدا بنایا تھا تو اب نہ تم عذاب کو ٹال سکتے ہو اور نہ اپنی مدد کر سکتے ہو اور جو بھی تم میں سے ظلم کرے گا اسے ہم بڑے سخت عذاب کا مزہ چکھائیں گے۔

And We have not sent before you any messengers but they most surely ate food and went about in the markets; and We have made some of you a trial for others; will you bear patiently? And your Lord is ever Seeing.

اور ہم نے آپ سے پہلے بھی جن رسولوں کو بھیجا ہے وہ بھی کھانا کھایا کرتے تھے اور بازاروں میں چلتے تھے اور ہم نے بعض افراد کو بعض کے لئے وجہ آزمائش بنا دیا ہے تو مسلمانو! کیا تم صبر کر سکو گے جب کہ تمہارا پروردگار بہت بڑی بصیرت رکھنے والا ہے۔

And those who do not hope for Our meeting, say: Why have not angels been sent down upon us, or (why) do we not see our Lord? Now certainly they are too proud of themselves and have revolted in great revolt.

اور جو لوگ ہماری ملاقات کی امید نہیں رکھتے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ آخر ہم پر فرشتے کیوں نہیں نازل ہوتے یا ہم خدا کو کیوں نہیں دیکھتے در حقیقت یہ لوگ اپنی جگہ پر بہت مغرور ہو گئے ہیں اور انتہائی درجہ کی سرکشی کر رہے ہیں۔

On the day when they shall see the angels, there shall be no joy on that day for the guilty, and they shall say: It is a forbidden thing totally prohibited.

جس دن یہ ملائکہ کو دیکھیں گے اس دن مجرمین کے لئے کوئی بشارت نہ ہو گی اور فرشتے کہیں گے کہ تم لوگ دور ہو جاؤ۔

And We will proceed to what they have done of deeds, so We shall render them as scattered floating dust.

پھر ہم ان کے اعمال کی طرف توجہ کریں گے اور سب کو اڑتے ہوئے خاک کے ذرّوں کے مانند بنا دیں گے۔

The dwellers of the garden shall on that day be in a better abiding-place and a better resting-place.

اس دن صرف جنّت والے ہوں گے جن کے لئے بہترین ٹھکانہ ہو گا اور بہترین آرام کرنے کی جگہ ہو گی۔

And on the day when the heaven shall burst asunder with the clouds, and the angels shall be sent down descending (in ranks).

اور جس دن آسمان بادلوں کی وجہ سے پھٹ جائے گا اور ملائکہ جوق در جوق نازل کئے جائیں گے۔

The kingdom on that day shall rightly belong to the Beneficent God, and a hard day shall it be for the unbelievers.

اس دن در حقیقت حکومت پروردگار کے ہاتھ میں ہو گی اور وہ دن کافروں کے لئے بڑا سخت دن ہو گا۔

And the day when the unjust one shall bite his hands saying: O! would that I had taken a way with the Apostle.

اس دن ظالم اپنے ہاتھوں کو کاٹے گا اور کہے گا کہ کاش میں نے رسول کے ساتھ ہی راستہ اختیار کیا ہوتا۔

O woe is me! would that I had not taken such a one for a friend!

ہائے افسوس! کاش میں نے فلاں شخص کو اپنا دوست نہ بنایا ہوتا۔

Certainly he led me astray from the reminder after it had come to me; and the Shaitan fails to aid man.

اس نے تو ذکر کے آنے کے بعد مجھے گمراہ کر دیا اور شیطان تو انسان کا رسوا کرنے والا ہے ہی۔

And the Apostle cried out: O my Lord! surely my people have treated this Quran as a forsaken thing.

اور اس دن رسول آواز دے گا کہ پروردگار اس میری قوم نے اس قرآن کو بھی نظر انداز کر دیا ہے۔

And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the sinners and sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and a Helper.

اور اسی طرح ہم نے ہر نبی کے لئے مجرمین میں سے کچھ دشمن قرار دیدیئے ہیں اور ہدایت اور امداد کے لئے تمہارا پروردگار بہت کافی ہے۔

And those who disbelieve say: Why has not the Quran been revealed to him all at once? Thus, that We may strengthen your heart by it and We have arranged it well in arranging.

اور یہ کافر یہ بھی کہتے ہیں کہ آخر ان پر یہ قرآن ایک دفعہ کل کا کل کیوں نہیں نازل ہو گیا۔ ہم اسی طرح تدریجا نازل کرتے ہیں تاکہ تمہارے دل کو مطمئن کر سکیں اور ہم نے اسے ٹھہر ٹھہر کر نازل کیا ہے۔

And they shall not bring to you any argument, but We have brought to you (one) with truth and best in significance.

اور یہ لوگ کوئی بھی مثال نہ لائیں گے مگر یہ کہ ہم اس کے جواب میں حق اور بہترین بیان لے آئیں گے۔

(As for) those who shall be gathered upon their faces to hell, they are in a worse plight and straying farther away from the path.

وہ لوگ جو جہنّم کی طرف منہ کے بل کھینچ کر لائے جائیں گے ان کا ٹھکانا بدترین ہے اور وہ بہت زیادہ بہکے ہوئے ہیں۔

And certainly We gave Musa the Book and We appointed with him his brother Haroun an aider.

اور ہم نے موسیٰؑ کو کتاب عطا کی اور ان کے ساتھ ان کے بھائی ہارونؑ کو ان کا وزیر بنا دیا۔

Then We said: Go you both to the people who rejected Our communications; so We destroyed them with utter destruction.

پھر ہم نے کہا کہ اب تم دونوں اس قوم کی طرف جاؤ جس نے ہماری آیتوں کی تکذیب کی ہے اور ہم نے انہیں تباہ و برباد کر دیا ہے۔

And the people of Nuh, when they rejected the apostles, We drowned them, and made them a sign for men, and We have prepared a painful punishment for the unjust;

اور قومِ نوح کو بھی جب انہوں نے رسولوں کو جھٹلایا تو ہم نے انہیں بھی غرق کر دیا اور لوگوں کے لئے ایک نشانی بنا دیا اور ہم نے ظالمین کے لئے بڑا دردناک عذاب مہیّاکر رکھا ہے۔

And Ad and Samood and the dwellers of the Rass and many generations between them.

اور عاد و ثمود اور اصحابِ رس اور ان کے درمیان بہت سی نسلوں اور قوموں کو بھی تباہ کر دیا ہے۔

And to everyone We gave examples and everyone did We destroy with utter destruction.

اور ان سب کے لئے ہم نے مثالیں بیان کیں اور سب کو ہم نے نیست و نابود کر دیا۔

And certainly they have (often) passed by the town on which was rained an evil rain; did they not then see it? Nay! they did not hope to be raised again.

اور یہ لوگ اس بستی کی طرف آئے جس پر ہم نے پتھروں کی بوچھار کی تھی تو کیا ان لوگوں نے اسے نہیں دیکھا حقیقت یہ ہے کہ یہ لوگ قیامت کی امید ہی نہیں رکھتے۔

And when they see you, they do not take you for aught but a mockery: Is this he whom Allah has raised to be an apostle?

اور جب آپ کو دیکھتے ہیں تو صرف مذاق بنانا چاہتے ہیں کہ کیا یہی وہ ہے جسے خدا نے رسول بنا کر بھیجا ہے۔

He had well-nigh led us astray from our gods had we not adhered to them patiently! And they will know, when they see the punishment, who is straying farther off from the path.

قریب تھا کہ یہ ہمیں ہمارے خداؤں سے منحرف کر دے اگر ہم لوگ ان خداؤں پر صبر نہ کر لیتے اور عنقریب ان لوگوں کو معلوم ہو جائے گا جب یہ عذاب کو دیکھیں گے کہ زیادہ بہکا ہوا کون ہے۔

Have you seen him who takes his low desires for his god? Will you then be a protector over him?

کیا آپ نے اس شخص کو دیکھا ہے جس نے اپنی خواہشات ہی کو اپنا خدا بنا لیا ہے کیا آپ اس کی بھی ذمہ داری لینے کے لئے تیار ہیں۔

Or do you think that most of them do hear or understand? They are nothing but as cattle; nay, they are straying farther off from the path.

کیا آپ کا خیال یہ ہے کہ ان کی اکثریت کچھ سنتی اور سمجھتی ہے ہرگز نہیں یہ سب جانوروں جیسے ہیں بلکہ ان سے بھی کچھ زیادہ ہی گم کردہ راہ ہیں۔

Have you not considered (the work of) your Lord, how He extends the shade? And if He had pleased He would certainly have made it stationary; then We have made the sun an indication of it

کیا آپ نے نہیں دیکھا کہ آپ کے پروردگار نے کس طرح سایہ کو پھیلا دیا ہے اور وہ چاہتا تو ایک ہی جگہ ساکن بنا دیتا پھر ہم نے آفتاب کو اس کی دلیل بنا دیا ہے۔

Then We take it to Ourselves, taking little by little.

پھر ہم نے تھوڑا تھوڑا کر کے اسے اپنی طرف کھینچ لیا ہے۔

And He it is Who made the night a covering for you, and the sleep a rest, and He made the day to rise up again.

اور وہی وہ خدا ہے جس نے رات کو تمہارا پردہ اور نیند کو تمہاری راحت اور دن کو تمہارے اٹھ کھڑے ہونے کا وقت قرار دیا ہے۔

And He it is Who sends the winds as good news before His mercy; and We send down pure water from the cloud

اور وہی وہ ہے جس نے ہواؤں کو رحمت کی بشارت کے لئے رواں کر دیا ہے اور ہم نے آسمان سے پاک و پاکیزہ پانی برسایا ہے۔

That We may give life thereby to a dead land and give it for drink, out of what We have created, to cattle and many people.

تاکہ اس کے ذریعہ مردہ شہر کو زندہ بنائیں اور اپنی مخلوقات میں سے جانوروں اور انسانوں کی ایک بڑی تعداد کو سیراب کریں۔

And certainly We have repeated this to them that they may be mindful, but the greater number of men do not consent to aught except denying.

اور ہم نے ان کے درمیان پانی کو طرح طرح سے تقسیم کیا ہے تاکہ یہ لوگ نصیحت حاصل کریں لیکن انسانوں کی اکثریت نے ناشکری کے علاوہ ہر بات سے انکار کر دیا ہے۔

And if We had pleased We would certainly have raised a warner in every town.

اور ہم چاہتے تو ہر قریہ میں ایک ڈرانے والا بھیج دیتے۔

So do not follow the unbelievers, and strive against them a mighty striving with it.

لہذا آپ کافروں کے کہنے میں نہ آئیں اور ان سے آخر دم تک جہاد کرتے رہیں۔

And He it is Who has made two seas to flow freely, the one sweet that subdues thirst by its sweetness, and the other salt that burns by its saltness; and between the two He has made a barrier and inviolable obstruction.

اور وہی خدا ہے جس نے دونوں دریاؤں کو جاری کیا ہے اس کا پانی مزیدار اور میٹھا ہے اور یہ نمکین اور کڑوا ہے اور دونوں کے درمیان حد فاصل اور مضبوط رکاوٹ بنا دی ہے۔

And He it is Who has created man from the water, then He has made for him blood relationship and marriage relationship, and your Lord is powerful.

اور وہی وہ ہے جس نے پانی سے انسان کو پیدا کیا ہے اور پھر اس کو خاندان اور سسرال والا بنا دیا ہے اور آپ کا پروردگار بہت زیادہ قدرت والا ہے۔

And they serve besides Allah that which neither profits them nor causes them harm; and the unbeliever is a partisan against his Lord.

اور یہ لوگ پروردگار کو چھوڑ کر ایسوں کی عبادت کرتے ہیں جو نہ فائدہ پہنچا سکتے ہیں اور نہ نقصان اور کافر تو ہمیشہ پروردگار کے خلاف ہی پشت پناہی کرتا ہے۔

And We have not sent you but as a giver of good news and as a warner.

اور ہم نے آپ کو صرف بشارت دینے والا اور ڈرانے والا بنا کر بھیجا ہے۔

Say: I do not ask you aught in return except that he who will, may take the way to his Lord.

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ میں تم لوگوں سے کوئی اجر نہیں چاہتا مگر یہ کہ جو چاہے وہ اپنے پروردگار کا راستہ اختیار کرے۔

And rely on the Ever-living Who dies not, and celebrate His praise; and Sufficient is He as being aware of the faults of His servants

اور آپ اس خدائے حی و قیوم پر اعتماد کریں جسے موت آنے والی نہیں ہے اور اسی کی حمد کی تسبیح کرتے رہیں کہ وہ اپنے بندوں کے گناہوں کی اطلاع کے لئے خود ہی کافی ہے۔

Who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six periods, and He is firmly established on the throne of authority; the Beneficent God, so ask respecting it one aware.

اس نے آسمان و زمین اور اس کے درمیان کی مخلوقات کو چھ دنوں کے اندر پیدا کیا ہے اور اس کے بعد عرش پر اپنا اقتدار قائم کیا ہے وہ رحمان ہے اس کی تخلیق کے بارے میں اسی باخبر سے دریافت کرو۔

And when it is said to them: Make obeisance to the Beneficent God, they say: And what is the God of beneficence? Shall we make obeisance to what you bid us? And it adds to their aversion.

اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ رحمان کو سجدہ کرو تو کہتے ہیں کہ یہ رحمان کیا ہے کیا ہم اسے سجدہ کر لیں جس کے بارے میں تم حکم دے رہے ہو اور اس طرح ان کی نفرت میں اور اضافہ ہو جاتا ہے۔

Blessed is He Who made the constellations in the heavens and made therein a lamp and a shining moon.

بابرکت ہے وہ ذات جس نے آسمان میں برج بنائے ہیں اور اس میں چراغ اور چمکتا ہوا چاند قرار دیا ہے۔

And He it is Who made the night and the day to follow each other for him who desires to be mindful or desires to be thankful.

اور وہی وہ ہے جس نے رات اور دن میں ایک کو دوسرے کا جانشین بنایا ہے اس انسان کے لئے جو عبرت حاصل کرنا چاہے یا شکر پروردگار ادا کرنا چاہے۔

And the servants of the Beneficent God are they who walk on the earth in humbleness, and when the ignorant address them, they say: Peace.

اور اللہ کے بندے وہی ہیں جو زمین پر آہستہ چلتے ہیں اور جب جاہل ان سے خطاب کرتے ہیں تو سلامتی کا پیغام دے دیتے ہیں۔

And they who pass the night prostrating themselves before their Lord and standing.

یہ لوگ راتوں کو اس طرح گزارتے ہیں کہ اپنے رب کی بارگاہ میں کبھی سر بسجود رہتے ہیں اور کبھی حالت قیام میں رہتے ہیں۔

And they who say: O our Lord! turn away from us the punishment of hell, surely the punishment thereof is a lasting evil.

اور یہ کہتے ہیں کہ پروردگار ہم سے عذابِ جہنّم کو پھیر دے کہ اس کا عذاب بہت سخت اور پائیدار ہے۔

Surely it is an evil abode and (evil) place to stay.

وہ بدترین منزل اور محل اقامت ہے۔

And they who when they spend, are neither extravagant nor parsimonious, and (keep) between these the just mean.

اور یہ لوگ جب خرچ کرتے ہیں تو نہ اسراف کرتے ہیں اور نہ کنجوسی سے کام لیتے ہیں بلکہ ان دونوں کے درمیان اوسط درجے کا راستہ اختیار کرتے ہیں۔

And they who do not call upon another god with Allah and do not slay the soul, which Allah has forbidden except in the requirements of justice, and (who) do not commit fornication and he who does this shall find a requital of sin;

اور وہ لوگ خدا کے ساتھ کسی اور خدا کو نہیں پکارتے ہیں اور کسی بھی نفس کو اگر خدا نے محترم قرار دیدیا ہے تو اسے حق کے بغیر قتل نہیں کرتے اور زنا بھی نہیں کرتے ہیں کہ جو ایسا عمل کرے گا وہ اپنے عمل کی سزا بھی برداشت کرے گا۔

The punishment shall be doubled to him on the day of resurrection, and he shall abide therein in abasement;

جسے روز قیامت دگنا کر دیا جائے گا اور وہ اسی میں ذلّت کے ساتھ ہمیشہ ہمیشہ پڑا رہے گا۔

Except him who repents and believes and does a good deed; so these are they of whom Allah changes the evil deeds to good ones; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

علاوہ اس شخص کے جو توبہ کرلے اور ایمان لے آئے اور نیک عمل بھی کرے کہ پروردگار اس کی برائیوں کو اچھائیوں سے تبدیل کر دے گا اور خدا بہت زیادہ بخشنے والا اور مہربان ہے۔

And whoever repents and does good, he surely turns to Allah a (goodly) turning.

اور جو توبہ کرلے گا اور عمل صالح انجام دے گا وہ اللہ کی طرف واقعًا رجوع کرنے والا ہے۔

And they who do not bear witness to what is false, and when they pass by what is vain, they pass by nobly.

اور وہ لوگ جھوٹ اور فریب کے پاس حاضر بھی نہیں ہوتے ہیں اور جب لغو کاموں کے قریب سے گزرتے ہیں تو بزرگانہ انداز سے گزر جاتے ہیں۔

And they who, when reminded of the communications of their Lord, do not fall down thereat deaf and blind.

اور ان لوگوں کو جب آیاتِ الہٰیہ کی یاد دلائی جاتی ہے تو بہرے اور اندھے ہو کر گر نہیں پڑتے ہیں۔

And they who say: O our Lord! grant us in our wives and our offspring the joy of our eyes, and make us guides to those who guard (against evil).

اور وہ لوگ برابر دعا کرتے رہتے ہیں کہ خدایا ہمیں ہماری ازواج اور اولاد کی طرف سے خنکی چشم عطا فرما اور ہمیں صاحبانِ تقویٰ کا پیشوا بنا دے۔

These shall be rewarded with high places because they were patient, and shall be met therein with greetings and salutations.

یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جنہیں ان کے صبر کی بناء پر جنّت کے بالا خانے عطا کئے جائیں گے اور وہاں انہیں تعظیم اور سلام کی پیشکش کی جائے گی۔

Abiding therein; goodly the abode and the resting-place.

وہ ان ہی مقامات پر ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے کہ وہ بہترین مستقر اور حسین ترین محل اقامت ہے۔

Say: My Lord would not care for you were it not for your prayer; but you have indeed rejected (the truth), so that which shall cleave shall come.

پیغمبر آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ اگر تمہاری دعائیں نہ ہوتیں تو پروردگار تمہاری پروا بھی نہ کرتا تم نے اس کے رسول کی تکذیب کی ہے تو عنقریب اس کا عذاب بھی برداشت کرنا پڑے گا۔

Almighty God the most high speaks the truth.

اللہ بزرگ و برتر نے سچ فرمایا ہے۔
