Baqarah (2:1-4)
اَلْبَقَرَۃ: ۱۔۴
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
الۗمۗ
Alif-laam-meem.
Alif Lam Mim.
الم۔
ذٰلِكَ الْكِتٰبُ لَا رَيْبَ فِیْهِ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِيْنَ
Zaalikal kitaabu laa raiba feeh; hudal lilmuttaqeen.
This Book, there is no doubt in it, is a guide to those who guard (against evil).
یہ وہ کتاب ہے جس میں کسی طرح کے شک و شبہ کی گنجائش نہیں ہے، یہ صاحبانِ تقویٰ اور پرہیزگار لوگوں کے لئے مجسم ہدایت ہے۔
اَلَّذِيْنَ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِالْغَيْبِ وَيُقِيْمُوْنَ الصَّلٰوةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنٰهُمْ يُنْفِقُوْنَ
Allazeena yu’minoona bilghaibi wa yuqeemoonas salaata wa mimmaa razaqnaahum yunfiqoon.
Those who believe in the unseen and keep up prayer and spend out of what We have given them.
جو غیب پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں پابندی سے پورے اہتمام کے ساتھ نماز ادا کرتے ہیں اور جو کچھ ہم نے رزق دیا ہے اس میں سے ہماری راہ میں خرچ بھی کرتے ہیں۔
وَالَّذِيْنَ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِمَآ اُنْزِلَ اِلَيْكَ وَمَآ اُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ وَبِالْاٰخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوْقِنُوْنَ
Wallazeena yu’minoona bimaa unzila ilaika wa maaa unzila min qablika wa bil aakhirati hum yooqinoon.
And who believe in that which has been revealed to you and that which was revealed before you and they are sure of the hereafter.
وہ ان تمام باتوں پر بھی ایمان رکھتے ہیں جنہیں (اے رسول) ہم نے آپ پر نازل کیا ہے اور جو آپ سے پہلے نازل کی گئی ہیں اور آخرت پر بھی یقین رکھتے ہیں۔
