’مُخُّ الْعِبَادَۃِ‘ ’اَفْضَلُ الْعِبَادَۃِ‘ ’سِلَاحُ الْمُؤْمِنْ‘ ’عَمُوْدُ الدِّیْنِ‘ ’نُوْرُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِ‘ ’تُرْسُ الْمُؤْمِنْ‘ ’سِلَاحُ الْاَنْۢبِیَاۗئِ‘ مَفَاتِیْحُ النَّجَاحِ‘ وَ ’مَقَالِیْدُ الْفَلَاحِ‘ ۔
’mukhkhu al-'ibaadati‘ ’afdalu al-'ibaadati‘ ’silaahu al-mu'min‘ ’'amoodu al-diyni‘ ’nooru as-samawaati wal-ardi‘ ’tursu al-mu'min‘ ’silaahu al-anbiyaa'i‘ mafaateehu an-najaahi‘ wa ’maqaaleedu al-falaahi‘ . auto
The essence of worship; the best form of worship; the weapon of the believer; the pillar of religion; the light of the heavens and the earth; the believer’s shield; the weapon of the prophets; the keys to success; and the keys to true prosperity and salvation.
عبادت کا اصل مغز، سب سے بہترین عبادت، مومن کا ہتھیار، دین کا ستون، آسمانوں اور زمین کا نور، مومن کی ڈھال، انبیاء کا ہتھیار، کامیابی کی کنجیاں، اور فلاح و نجات کی کنجیاں۔
۔۔۔اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَسْتَكْبِرُوْنَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِيْ سَيَدْخُلُوْنَ جَهَنَّمَ دٰخِرِيْنَ۔
…innal lazee-na yastak-beroo-na a’n e’baa-datee sa-yad-koloo-na jahan-nama daakhe-reena.
…Surely those who are too proud for My service shall soon enter hell abased.
یقینًا جو لوگ میری عبادت سے لکڑتے ہیں وہ عنقریب ذلّت کے ساتھ جہنم میں جائینگے گے۔
اَفْضَلُ الْعِبَادَۃِ الدُّعَآئُ۔
Afza-lul e’baada-tid doa’a-o.
Dua is foremost form of worship.
بہترین عبادت دعا ہے۔
قُلْ مَا يَعْبَؤُا بِكُمْ رَبِّيْ لَوْلَا دُعَاۗؤُكُمْ فَقَدْ كَذَّبْتُمْ فَسَوْفَ يَكُوْنُ لِزَامًا
Qul maa ya’ba’u bikum rabbee law laa du’aaa’ukum faqad kazzabtum fasawfa yakoonu lizaamaa.
Say: My Lord would not care for you were it not for your prayer; but you have indeed rejected (the truth), so that which shall cleave shall come.
پیغمبر آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ اگر تمہاری دعائیں نہ ہوتیں تو پروردگار تمہاری پروا بھی نہ کرتا تم نے اس کے رسول کی تکذیب کی ہے تو عنقریب اس کا عذاب بھی برداشت کرنا پڑے گا۔
اِلٰهِيْ هَبْ لِيْ كَمَالَ الْاَنْقِطَاعِ اِلَيْكَ وَاَنِرْ اَبْصَارَ قُلُوْبِنَا بِضِيَاءِ نَظَرِهَا اِلَيْكَ حَتّٰى تَخْرِقَ اَبْصَارُ الْقُلُوْبِ حُجُبَ النُّوْرِ فَتَصِلَ اِلٰى مَعْدِ الْعَظَمَةِ وَتَصِيْرَ اَرْوَاحُنَا مُعَلَّقَةًۢ بِعِزِّ قُدْسِكَ۔
Elaa-hee hablee kamaa-lal an-qetaa-e’ ilaiy-ka wa a-nir ab-saara qoloobe-naa be-zeyaa-e nazare-haa ilaiy-ka hattaa takhre-qa absaa-rul qoloo-be hojo-ban noore fa-tase-la ilaa ma’de-nil a’za-mate wa tasee-ra arwaa-honaa mo-a’lla-qatam be-i’zze qudse-ka.
O my God, (please) grant me absolute devotion to You and illuminate the sights of our hearts with the light of observing of You so that the sights of the hearts will penetrate the Screens of Light and arrive at the Core of Magnificence, and that our souls hang to the majesty of Your Holiness.
میرے خدا مجھے توفیق دے کہ میں تیری بارگاہ کا ہوجاؤں اور ہمارے اورہمارے دلوں کی آنکھیں جب تیری طرف نظر کریں تو انہیں نورانی بنادے تا کہ یہ دل کی آنکھوں کے حجابات ِنور کو پار کرکے تیری عظمت و بزرگی کے مرکز سے جاملیں اور ہماری روحیں تیری پاکیزہ بلندیوں پر آویزاں ہوجائیں۔
اِلٰھِیْ تَرَدُّدِیْ فِیْ الْاٰثَارِ یُوْجِبُ بُعْدَ الْمَزَارِ فَاجْمَعْنِیْ عَلَیْكَ بِخِدْمَۃٍ تُوْصِلُنِیْ اِلَیْكَ كَیْفَ یُسْتَدَلُّ عَلَیْكَ بِمَا ھُوَ فِیْ وُجُوْدِہٖ مُفْتَقِرٌ اِلَیْكَ اَیَكُوْنُ لِغَیْرِكَ مِنَ الظُّھُوْرِ مَا لَیْسَ لَكَ حَتّٰی یَكُوْنَ ھُوَ الْمُظْھِرُ لَكَ مَتٰی غِبْتَ حَتّٰی تَحْتَاجَ اِلٰی دَلِیْلٍ یَّدُلُّ عَلَیْكَ وَمَتٰی بَعُدْتَ حَتّٰی تَكُوْنَ الْاٰثَارُ ھِیَ الَّتِیْ تُوْصِلُ اِلَیْكَ عَمِیَتْ عَیْنٌ لَّا تَرَاكَ عَلَیْھَا رَقِیْبًا وَّخَسِرَتْ صَفْقَۃُ عَبْدٍ لَّمْ تَجْعَلْ لَہٗ مِنْ حُبِّكَ نَصِیْبًا۔
Elaahee taraddodee fil aasaare yoojebo boa’dal mazaare faj-ma’nee a’layka bekhidmatin tooselonee elayka kayfa yustadallo a’layka bemaa howa fee wojoodehee muftaqerun elayka a-yakoono leghayreka menaz zohoore maa laysa laka hattaa yakoono howal muzhera laka mataa ghibta hattaa tahtaaja elaa daleelin yadullo a’layka wa mataa ba-o’dta hattaa takoonal aasaaro heyal latee tooselo elayka a’meyat a’ynun laa taraaka a’layhaa raqeeban wa khaserat safqado a’bdin lam taj-a’l lahu min hubbeka naseeban.
O my God, my hesitation in (following) Your traces will result in unlikely visitation; so, (please) join me to You through a service that takes me to You. How can You be figured out through that whose existence relies on You? Can any thing other than You hold a (kind of) manifestation that You lack and thus it may act as an appearance for You? When have You ever been absent so that You may need something to point to You? When have You ever been far-off so that traces may lead to You? Blind be the eye that cannot see You watching it. Losing is a servant’s deal that does not dedicate a share to the love for You.
میرے اللہ تیری قدرت کے آثار میں غور کرنا تیرے دیدار سے دوری کا سبب ہے پس مجھے اپنے حضور حاضر رکھ تیری سرکار میں پہنچ پاؤں کیوں کر وہ چیز تیری طرف رہنمائی کر سکتی ہے جو اپنے وجود ہی میں تیری محتاج ہے آیا تیرے غیرکے لئے ایسا ظہور ہے جو تیرے لئے نہیں ہے یہاں تک کہ وہ تجھے ظاہر کرنے والا بن جائے تو کب غائب تھا کہ کسی ایسے نشان کی حاجت ہو جو تیری دلیل ٹھہرے اور تو کب دورتھا کہ آثار اور نشان تجھ تک پہنچانے کا ذریعہ و وسیلہ بنیں اندھی ہے وہ آنکھ جو تجھ کو اپنا نگہبان نہیں پاتی اس بندے کا سودا خسارے والا ہے جس کو تو نے اپنی محبت کا حصہ نہیں دیا۔
اِلٰھِیْ اَمَرْتَ بِالرُّجُوْعِ اِلَی الْاٰثَارِ فَارْجِعْنِیْ اِلَیْكَ بِكِسْوَۃِ الْاَنْوَارِ وَھِدَایَۃِ الْاِسْتِبْصَارِ حَتّٰی اَرْجِعَ اِلَیْكَ مِنْھَا كَمَا دَخَلْتُ اِلَیْكَ مِنْھَا مَصُوْنَ السِّرِّ عَنِ النَّظَرِ اِلَیْھَا وَمَرْفُوْعَ الْھِمَّۃِ عَنِ الْاِعْتَمَادِ عَلَیْھَا اِنَّكَ عَلٰی كُلِّ شَیْٓءٍ قَدِیْرٌ۔
Elaahee amarta bir-rojoo-e’ elal aasaare far-je’nee elayka bekiswatil anwaare wa hedaayatil istibsaare hattaa ar-je-a’ elayka minhaa kamaa dakhalto elayka minhaa masoonas sirre a’nin nazare elayhaa wa marfoo-i’l himmate a’nil e-a’tamaade a’layhaa innaka a’laa kulle shay-in qadeerun.
O my God, You have ordered us to refer to the traces; therefore, (please do) make me refer to You with the garb of lights and the guidance of insight so that I will return to You in the same way as I have entered to You from them as being too protected to look at them and too determining to depend upon them, for You have power over all things.
میرے اللہ تو نے اپنی قدرت کے آثار پر توجہ کا حکم کیا پس مجھ کو اپنے نور کے پردوں اور بصیرت کے راستوں کی طرف لے چل تاکہ اس کے ذریعے تیری درگاہ میں آؤں جس طرح انہی کے ذریعے تیری طرف راہ پائی انہیں دیکھ کر رازِ حقیقت کی خبر پاؤں اور ان کے سہارے اپنی ہمت کو بلند کروں بے شک تو ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے۔
