اِذَا اَرَدْتَّ الْحَجَّ فَجَرِّدْ قَلْبَكَ لِلهِ مِنْ قَبْلِ عَزْمِكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَاغِلٍ وَّحِجَابِ كُلِّ حَاجِبٍ وَّفَوِّضْ اُمُوْرَكَ كُلَّهَا اِلٰی خَالِقِكَ وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَیْهِ فِیْ جَمِیْعِ مَا یَظْهَرُ مِنْ حَرَكَاتِكَ وَسَكَنَاتِكَ وَسَلِّمْ لِقَضَاۗئِهٖ وَحُكْمِهٖ وَقَدَرِهٖ وَ وَدِّعِ الدُّنْیَا وَالرَّاحَۃَ وَالْخَلْقَ۔۔۔ ثُمَّ اغْ تَسِلْ بِمَاۗئِ التَّوْبَۃِ الْخَالِصَۃِ مِنَ الذُّنُوْبِ وَاَلْبِسْ كِسْوَۃَ الصِّدْقِ وَالصَّفَاۗئِ وَالْخُضُوْعِ وَالْخُشُوْعِ وَاَحْرِمْ عَنْ كُلِّ شَیْءٍ یَّمْنَعُكَ مِنْ ذِكْرِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَیَحْجُبُكَ عَنْ طَاعَتَهٖ وَلَبِّ بِمَعْنٰی اِجَابَۃٍ صَافِیَۃٍ خَالِصَۃٍ زَاكِیَۃٍ لِّلهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فِیْ دَعْوَتِكَ مُتَمَسِّكًاۢ بِالْعُرْوَۃِ الْوُثْقٰی وَطُفْبِقَلْبِكَ مَعَ الْمَلَٓائِكَۃِ حَوْلَ الْعَرْشِ كَتَوَافِكَ مَعَ الْمُسْلِمِیْنَ بِنَفْسِكَ حَوْلَ الْبَیْتِ۔۔۔
Izaa aradtta al-hajja fajarrid qalbaka lillaahi min qabli 'azmika min kulli shaaghilin wahijaabi kulli haajibin wafawwid umooraka kullahaa ilaa khaaliqika watawakkal 'alayhi fee jamee'i maa yazharu min harakaatika wasakanaatika wasallim liqadaa'ihee wahukmihee waqadarihee wa waddi'i ad-dunyaa war-raahata wal-khalqa...
Thumma agh tasil bimaa'i at-tawbati al-khaalisati mina az-zunoobi wal-bis kiswata as-sidqi was-safaa'i wal-khudoo'i wal-khushoo'i waahrim 'an kulli shay'in yamna'uka min zikri allaahi 'azza wajalla wayahjubuka 'an taa'atahee walabbi bima'naa ijaabatin saafiyatin khaalisatin zaakiyatin lilhi 'azza wa jalla fee da'watika mutamassikan bil-'urwati al-wuthqaa watufbiqalbika ma'a al-malaa'ikati hawla al-'arshi katawaafika ma'a al-muslimeena binafsika hawla al-bayti... auto
When you intend to perform Hajj, then before you even resolve to go, strip your heart purely for Allah of every distraction and of every veil that blocks you. Hand over all of your affairs to your Creator, and rely upon Him in everything that appears from your movements and your stillness. Submit to His decree, His judgment, and His measure (destiny). Bid farewell to the world, to comfort, and to people. Then wash yourself with the water of sincere repentance from sins, and clothe yourself in the garment of truthfulness, purity, humility, and reverent awe. Enter into ihram by leaving everything that prevents you from the remembrance of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, and that veils you from obeying Him. And proclaim the talbiyah with the meaning of a response clear, sincere, pure, and devoted to Allah, Mighty and Majestic holding firmly to the strongest handhold. And perform the tawaf with your heart along with the angels around the Throne, just as you perform tawaf with your body along with the Muslims around the House (the Ka‘bah).
حج کا قصد کرو تو پہلے اپنے دل سے غیراللہ کو نکال باہر کرو، اپنے اور خدا کے درمیان سے ہر قسم کے حجابات اور دیگر حائل چیزوں کو ہٹا دو اور اپنے تمام امور کو اسی کے حوالے کردو۔ اپنے تمام حرکات و سکنات میں اسی پر توکل کرو، قضاء و قدر الٰہی اور اس کے فیصلوں کے سامنے سر تسلیم خم کرو، دنیاوی لذتوں اور لوگوں سے تعلق ختم کر لو۔۔۔ پھر توبہ کے خلص پانی سے گناہوں کی آلودگی برطرف کرو، صدق و صفا اور خضوع و خشوع کا لباس زیب تن کر کے ہر اس چیز کے لئے احرام باندھ لو جو تمہیں یاد خدا اور ذکر الٰہی سے غافل کرتی ہو اور اطاعت پروردگار سے مانع ہوتی ہو۔ خدا کی مضبوط رسّی سے تمسک اختیار کر تے ہوئے پاک اور خالص ترین انداز میں لبّیک کہہ کر دعوت الٰہی کا جواب دو اور جیسے یہاں مسلماموں کے ساتھ خانۂ کعبہ کے گرد طواف کر رہے ہو صمیم قلب سے دل کی دنیا میں فرشتوں کے ساتھ عرش الٰہی کا طواف کرو۔
