Hajj in Islam
حج اسلام میں
اِنَّ اَوَّلَ بَيْتٍ وُّضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَلَّذِيْ بِبَكَّةَ مُبٰرَكًا وَّهُدًى لِّلْعٰلَمِيْنَ
Inna awwala baitinw wudi’a linnaasi lallazee bi bakkata mubaarakanw wa hudal lil ’aalameen.
Most surely the first house appointed for men is the one at Mecca, blessed and a guidance for the nations.
بےشک سب سے پہلا مکان جو لوگوں کے لئے بنایا گیا ہے وہ مکّہ میں ہے مبارک ہے اور عالمین کے لئے مجسم ہدایت ہے۔
فِيْهِ اٰيٰتٌۢ بَيِّنٰتٌ مَّقَامُ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ وَمَنْ دَخَلَهٗ كَانَ اٰمِنًا وَّلِلهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ اِلَيْهِ سَبِيْلًا وَّمَنْ كَفَرَ فَاِنَّ اللهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ
Feehi aayaatum baiyinaatum maqaamu ibraaheema wa man dakhalahoo kaana aaminaa; wa lillaahi ’alan naasi hijjul baiti manis tataa’a ilaihi sabeelaa; wa man kafara fa innal laaha ghaniyyun ’anil ’aalameen.
In it are clear signs, the standing place of Ibrahim, and whoever enters it shall be secure, and pilgrEnglishImage to the House is incumbent upon men for the sake of Allah, (upon) everyone who is able to undertake the journey to it; and whoever disbelieves, then surely Allah is Self-sufficient, above any need of the worlds.
اس میں کھلی ہوئی نشانیاں مقام ابراہیم ؑہے اور جو اس میں داخل ہوجائے گا وہ محفوظ ہوجائے گا اور اللہ کے لئے لوگوں پر اس گھر کا حج کرنا واجب ہے اگر اس راہ کی استطاعت رکھتے ہوں اور جو کافر ہوجائے تو خدا تمام عالمین سے بے نیاز ہے۔
مَنْ سَوَّفَ الْحَجَّ حَتّٰی یَمُوْتَ بَعَثَهُ اللهُ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَۃِ یَهُوْدِیًّا اَوْنَصْرَانِیًّا۔
Man sawwa-fal hajja hattaa yamoo-ta ba-a’sa-hul-laaho yaw-mal qeyaa-mate yahoo-diyyan aw nasraa-niyyan.
One who delays performing Hajj so much that he dies, Allah will assemble him among the Jews and Christians on the Day of Judgement.
جو شخص حج کو اتنا ٹالے کہ اسے موت آجائے تو خدا وند عالم اسے روز قیامت یہودی یا نصرانی محشور فرمائےگا۔
وَاللهَ اللهَ فِیْ بَیْتِ رَبِّكُمْ لَا تُخَلُّوْهُ مَا بَقِیْتُمْ فَاِنَّهٗ اِنْ تُرِكَ لَمْ تُنَاظَرُوْا۔
Wallaa-hal-laaha fee baiyte rabbe-kum laa to-khalloo-ho maa baqee-tum fa-inna-hu in tore-ka lam tonaa-zaroo.
Do not leave the house of Allah empty untill you are alive. If the Ziyarat of the house of Allah is abandoned you will be involved in a painful chastisement without any respite.
اور اللہ سے ڈرو اپنے پروردگار کے گھر کے بارے میں، کہ جب تک زندہ ہو اسے خالی نہ ہونے دو کہ اگر اسے چھوڑ دیا گیا تو تم دیکھنے کے لائق بھی نہ رہ جاؤگے۔
