About this day
The practices of Umm Dawud are fixed to the fifteenth of Rajab and performed at midday, after fasting on the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth. Classically they are performed alone, facing the qibla in a place free of interruption, so a congregational programme is a diaspora adaptation rather than the classical form.
