About this day
The Day of Arafa is kept for Dua Arafa, the supplication of Imam al-Husayn (a), which in Iranian practice is recited together in a large gathering. The same date carries the martyrdom of Muslim b. Aqil, so the Centre holds the day in a mixed tone, with the supplication published in full alongside the majlis.
