About this day

Eid al-Ghadir, in the year 10 AH, is held to be the greatest of the Shia eids and is associated with Imam Ali (a). Families wear their best, visit relatives, share meals and exchange the Ghadir congratulation on adherence to wilaya. The Centre keeps it as a jashn and gives it the same prominence as Eid al-Fitr.
