Ghadeer

بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ رَسُوْلِ اللہِ خَاتَمِ النَّبِیِّیْنَ وَسَیِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِیْنَ وَصَفْوَۃِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ اَمِیْنِ اللہِ عَلٰی وَحْیِهٖ وَعَزآئِمِ اَمْرِهٖ وَالْخَاتِمِ لِمَا سَبَقَ وَالْفَاتِحِ لِمَا اسْتُقْبِلَ وَالْمُهَیْمِنِ عَلٰی ذٰلِكَ كُلِّهٖ وَرَحْمَۃُ اللہِ وَبَرَكَاتُهٗ وَصَلَوَاتُهٗ وَ تَحِیَّاتُهٗ۔

Peace be upon Muhammad the Messenger of Allah, the seal of the Prophets, the chief of the Messengers, and the choice of the Lord of the worlds, whom Allah has entrusted with His Revelations and with His determined commandments, who sealed the previous Messages, paved the way to the coming blessings, and Who prevails over all that. May the mercy, blessings, peace, benedictions, and greetings of Allah be upon him, too.

سلام ہو حضرت محمدؐ پرجو خدا کے رسولؐ نبیوں کے خاتم پیغمبروں کے سردار منتخبِ پروردگار عالم ہیں اس کی وحی اور محکم امر کے امانت دار ہیں سابقہ علوم کو کامل کرنے والے آئندہ علوم کے دروازےکھولنے والے اور ان سب کے محافظ و نگہبان ہیں خدا کی رحمت ہو ان پر اور اس کی برکتیں اس کے درود اور سلام ہوں۔

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلٰٓی اَنْۢبِیَآءِ اللہِ وَرُسُلِهٖ وَمَلِآئِكَتِهِ الْمُقَرَّبِیْنَ وَعِبَادِهِ الصَّالِحِیْنَ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا اَمِیْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَسَیِّدَ الْوَصِیِّیْنَ وَ وَارِثَ عِلْمِ النَّبِیِّیْنَ وَ وَلِیَّ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ وَمَوْلَایَ وَمَوْلَی الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَرَحْمَۃُ اللہِ وَبَرَكَاتُهٗ۔

Peace be upon the Prophets and Messengers of Allah, and upon His favorite angels and righteous saints. Peace be upon you, O Commander of the Faithful, the chief of the Prophets’ successors, the heir of the Prophets’ knowledge, the friend of the Lord of the worlds, and my master as well as the master of all of the believers. May Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you, too.

سلام ہو خدا کے نبیوں اور اس کے رسولوں اس کے مقرب فرشتوں اور اس کے نیک بندوں پر، آپ پر سلام ہو اے مؤمنوں کے امیر اوصیاء کے سردار نبیوں کے علم کے وارث جہانوں کے رب کے ولی اور میرے اور سب مؤمنوں کے مولا سلام ہو خدا کی رحمت اور برکتیں۔

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا مَوْلَایَ یَا اَمِیْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ یَا اَمِیْنَ اللہِ فِیْ اَرْضِهٖ وَسَفِیْرَهٗ فِیْ خَلْقِهٖ وَحُجَّتَهُ الْبَالِغَۃَ عَلٰی عِبَادِهٖ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا دِیْنَ اللہِ الْقَوِیْمَ وَصِرَاطَهُ الْمُسْتَقِیْمَ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ اَیُّهَا النَّبَاُ الْعَظِیْمُ الَّذِیْ هُمْ فِیْهِ مُخْتَلِفُوْنَ وَعَنْهُ یُسْئَلُوْنَ۔

Peace be upon you, O my master, O Commander of the Faithful, the trustee of Allah on His lands, the envoy of Him amongst His creatures, and His conclusive argument against His servants. Peace be upon you, O true religion of Allah and the straight path of Him. Peace be upon you, O the Great News about whom they differ and they shall be asked.

سلام ہو آپ پر اے میرے مولا اے مؤمنوں کے امیر اے خدا کی زمین میں اس کے امین اس کی مخلوق میں اس کے سفیر اور اس کے بندوں پر اس کی کامل تر حجت آپ پر سلام ہو اے خدا کے دینِ محکم اور اس کے راہِ راست آپ پر سلام ہو اے خبرِ عظیم جس میں لوگوں نے اختلاف کیا اور اس کے لئے جواب دہ ہیں۔

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَآ اَمِیْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ اٰمَنْتَ بِاللهِ وَهُمْ مُشْرِكُوْنَ وَصَدَّقْتَ بِالْحَقِّ وَهُمْ مُكَذِّبُوْنَ وَجَاهَدْتَ وَهُمْ مُحْجِمُوْنَ وَعَبَدْتَ اللہَ مُخْلِصًا لَهُ الدِّیْنَ صَابِرًا مُّحْتَسِبًا حَتّٰی اَتٰیكَ الْیَقِیْنُ اَلَا لَعْنَۃُ اللہِ عَلَی الظَّالِمِیْنَ۔

Peace be upon you, O Commander of the Faithful. You believed in Allah while they were polytheists, accepted the truth while they belied it, strove for the sake of Allah while they refrained, and worshipped Allah with full sincerity to Him in obedience while you were steadfast, depending upon Him totally, until death came upon you. Verily, curse of Allah be upon the wrongdoers.

آپ پر سلام ہو اے مؤمنوں کے امیرؑ کہ آپ خدا پر ایمان لائے اور وہ مشرک ہو گئے آپ نے حق کی تصدیق فرمائی اور انہوں نے جھٹلایا آپ نے جہاد کیا اور وہ سر چھپاتے رہے اور آپ نے خدا کے دین میں خالص ہو کر اس کی عبادت کے خیر خواہ اور صابر رہ کر حتی کہ آپ کی شہادت ہوگئی آگاہ رہو کہ ظالموں پر خدا کی لعنت ہے۔

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا سَیِّدَ الْمُسْلِمِیْنَ وَیَعْسُوْبَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَاِمَامَ الْمُتَّقِیْنَ وَقَآئِدَ الْغُرِّ الْمُحَجَّلِیْنَ وَرَحْمَۃُ اللہِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهٗ۔ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ اَخُوْ رَسُوْلِ اللہِ وَ وَصِیُّهٗ وَ وَارِثُ عِلْمِهٖ وَاَمِیْنُهٗ عَلٰی شَرْعِهٖ وَ خَلِیْفَتُهٗ فِیْ اُمَّتِهٖ وَاَوَّلُ مَنْ اٰمَنَ اللہِ وَصَدَّقَ بِمَآ اُنْزِلَ عَلٰی نَبِیِّهٖ۔

Peace be upon you, O chief of the Muslims, head of the believers, guide of the pious ones, and leader of the white-forehead ones. Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you. I bear witness that you are indeed the brother of Allah’s Messenger, the successor of him, the heir of his knowledge, his trustee on his laws, his representative in his nation, and the first to believe in Allah and to accept as true all that which was revealed to Allah’s Prophet.

آپ پر سلام ہو اے مسلمانوں کے سردار مؤمنوں کے رہبر و پیشوا پرہیزگاروں کےامام نورانی چہرے والے پیشانی والوں کے رہنما خدا کی رحمت ہو اور اس کی برکتیں میں گواہ ہوں بے شک آپ رسولؐ خدا کے برادران کے وصی ان کے علوم کے وارث ان کی شریعت کے امانت دار، ان کی امت میں ان کے جانشین اور وہ پہلے فرد ہیں کہ خدا پرایمان لائے اور جو کچھ اس کے نبیؐ پر نازل ہوا اس کی تصدیق کی۔

وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّهٗ قَدْ بَلَّغَ عَنِ اللہِ مَا اَنْزَلَهٗ فِیْكَ وَصَدَعَ بِاَمْرِهٖ وَاَوْجَبَ عَلٰی اُمَّتِهٖ فَرْضَ طَاعَتِكَ وَ وِلَایَتِكَ وَعَقَدَ عَلَیْهِمُ الْبَیْعَۃَ لَكَ وَجَعَلَكَ اَوْلٰی بِالْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ مِنْ اَنْفُسِهِمْ كَمَا جَعَلَهُ اللہُ كَذٰلِكَ ثُمَّ اَشْهَدَ اللہَ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْهِمْ فَقَالَ اَلَسْتُ قَدْ بَلَّغْتُ۔

I also bear witness that he (ie. the Prophet) conveyed all that which Allah revealed to him concerning you; so, he expounded openly what he was commanded (to expound), declared to his nation the duty of obedience and loyalty to you, ordered them to swear allegiance to you, and declared you as enjoying more priority on the believers than that which they enjoy on themselves in the same was as Allah has made him enjoy the same. He then asked Allah the All-exalted to be the witness on them (in this respect), saying, “Have I conveyed?” They answered, “Yes, you have. We swear to it by Allah.”

میں گواہ ہوں کہ آنحضرتؐ نے پہنچایا جو کچھ آپ کے حق میں اتراپس حکمِ خدا میں سعی کی اور اپنی امت پر آپ کی اطاعت واجب کی آپ کی ولایت فرض کر دی آپ کے لئے ان لوگوں سے بیعت لی اورآپ کوان کے نفسوں سے زیادہ بااختیار بنایا جیسا کہ خدا نے آنحضرتؐ کو با اختیا ر بنایا پھر خدا کو ان پر گواہ قرار دیااور فرمایا :آیا میں نے تبلیغ نہیں کی ؟انہوں نے کہا: باخدا کی ہے۔

فَقَالُوْا اَللّٰھُمَّ بَلٰی فَقَالَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اشْهَدْ وَكَفٰی بِكَ شَهِیْدًا وَحَاكِمًا بَیْنَ الْعِبَادِ فَلَعَنَ اللہُ جَاحِدَ وِلَایَتِكَ بَعْدَ الْاِقْرَارِ وَنَاكِثَ عَهْدِكَ بَعْدَ الْمِیْثَاقِ وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ وَفَیْتَ بِعَهْدِ اللہِ تَعَالٰی وَاَنَّ اللہَ تَعَالٰی مُوْفٍ لَكَ بِعَهْدِهٖ وَمَنْ اَوْفٰی بِمَا عَاهَدَ عَلَیْهُ اللہَ فَسَیُؤْتِیْهِ اَجْرًا عَظِیْمًا۔

He thus said, “O Allah, be the witness and You are sufficient Witness and Judge between the servants (of Yours).” Hence, curse of Allah be upon him who denied the allegiance to you after he had confessed of it and upon him who breached his pledge to you after he had taken it. I also bear witness that you have indeed observed your pledge to Almighty Allah and that Almighty Allah, in return, shall observe His pledge to you. “Therefore, whoever fulfills what he has covenanted with Allah, He will grant him a mighty reward.”

تب فرمایا: اے اللہ گواہ رہنا اور تو گواہی کے لئے کافی ہےاور بندوں میں حکم کرنے والا ہے پس خدا کی لعنت اس پر جو اقرار کے بعد تیری ولایت کا انکار کرے اور تجھ سے عہد باندھنےکے بعد توڑے اور میں گواہ ہوں بے شک آپ نے خدا سے کیا ہوا عہد پورا کیا اور یقینًا خدا بھی آپ سے کیا ہوا عہد پورا کر ے گا اور جوخدا سے کیے ہوئے عہد کو پورا کرے تو وہ اسے بہت بڑا اجر دے گا۔

وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ اَمِیْرُ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ الْحَقُّ الَّذِیْ نَطَقَ بِوِلَایَتِكَ التَّنْزِیْلُ وَاَخَذَ لَكَ الْعَهْدَ عَلَی الْاُمَّۃِ بِذٰلِكَ الرَّسُوْلُ وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ وَعَمَّكَ وَاَخَاكَ الَّذِیْنَ تَاجَرْتُمُ اللہَ بِنُفُوْسِكُمْ۔

I also bear witness that you are truly the commander of the faithful, the Divine Revelation did declare your commissioned leadership, and the Messenger made a covenant with the people (that they would be under your leadership). I also bear witness that you, along with your uncle and brother, traded with Allah in your souls.

میں گواہ ہوں کہ مؤمنوں کے حقیقی امیر ہیں جن کی ولایت قرآن نے بتائی اور رسولؐ نے اس کا عہد لے کر حجت تمام کر دی ہے میں گواہ ہوں کہ آپ کے چچا حمزہؑ آپ کے بھائی جعفر ؑنے خدا سے اپنی جانوں کا سودا کیا۔

فَاَنْزَلَ اللہُ فِیْكُمْ (اِنَّ اللہَ اشْتَرٰی مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ اَنْفُسَهُمْ وَاَمْوَالَهُمْ بِاَنَّ لَهُمُ الْجَنَّۃَ یُقَاتِلُوْنَ فِیْ سَبِیْلِ اللہِ فَیَقْتُلُوْنَ وَیُقْتَلُوْنَ وَعْدًا عَلَیْهِ حَقًّا فِی التَّوْرٰۃِ وَالْاِنْجِیْلِ وَالْقُرْاٰنِ وَمَنْ اَوْفٰی بَعَهْدِهٖ مِنَ اللہِ فَاسْتَبْشِرُوْا بِبَیْعِكُمُ الَّذِیْ بَایَعْتُمْ بِهٖ وَذٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِیْمُ۔

He therefore revealed about you this: “Surely, Allah has bought of the believers their persons and their property for this, that they shall have Paradise; they fight in Allah’s way, so they slay and are slain; a promise which is binding on Him in the Torah and the Bible and the Qur’an; and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? Rejoice therefore in the pledge which you have made; and that is the mighty achievement.

تو اس نے آپ کے لئے فرمایا بے شک خدا نے مؤمنوں سے ان کی جانیں اور ان کے مال خرید لئے ان کو جنت دے کر کہ وہ خدا کی راہ میں جنگ کرتے ہیں پھر قتل کرتے ہیں اور قتل ہو جاتے ہیں یہ اس کے ذمہ سچا وعدہ ہے جو اس نے توریت انجیل اور قرآن میں فرمایااور کون ہے جوخدا سے بڑھ کر وعدہ پورا کرنے والاہے پس بشارت ہو تمہارے سودے پر جو تم نے خدا سے کیا ہے اور یہ ان کی بہت بڑی کامیابی ہے۔

اَلتَّآئِبُوْنَ الْعَابِدُوْنَ الْحَامِدُوْنَ السَّائِحُوْنَ الرَّاكِعُوْنَ السَّاجِدُوْنَ الْاٰمِرُوْنَ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ وَالنَّاهُوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَ الْحَافِظُوْنَ لِحُدُوْدِ اللہِ وَ بَشِّرِالْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ)۔ اَشْهَدُ یَا اَمِیْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ اَنَّ الشَّآكَّ فِیْكَ مَا اٰمَنَ بِالرَّسُوْلِ الْاَمِیْنِ وَاَنَّ الْعَادِلَ بِكَ غَیْرَكَ عَادِلٌ عَنِ الدِّیْنِ الْقَوِیْمِ الَّذِیْ ارْتَضَاهُ لَنَا رَبُّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ وَاَكْمَلَهٗ بِوِلَایَتِكَ یَوْمَ الْغَدِیْرِ۔

They who turn to Allah, who serve Him, who praise Him, who fast, who bow down, who prostrate themselves, who enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil, and who keep the limits of Allah; and give good news to the believers.” O Commander of the Faithful, I bear witness that whoever doubts about you has never believed in the Trusted Messenger, and whoever leaves you to choose another (as his leader) has indeed diverted the true religion, that the Lord of the worlds has chosen for us, and that He completed it on the Ghadeer Day through (declaring) the Divinely commissioned leadership of you.

جو توبہ کرنے والے عبادت کرنے والے اس کی حمد کرنے والے روزہ رکھنے والے رکوع کرنے والے سجدہ کرنے والے نیک کاموں کا حکم دینے والے برے کاموں سے روکنے والے اور خدا کی حدوں کی حفاظت کرنے والے ہیں ایسے مؤمنوں کوخوش خبری دو اے مؤمنوں کے امیر میں گواہی دیتا ہوں جو آپ کی امامت میں شک کرے وہ رسولؐ امین پر ایمان نہیں لایا اور جو آپ کے علاوہ غیر کو مانے تو وہ اس محکم دین کا دشمن ہے جسے جہانوں کے رب نے ہمارے لئے پسند فرمایا اور یوم ِغدیر آپ کی ولایت سے اس کو کامل کیا۔

وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ الْمَعْنِیُّ بِقَوْلِ الْعَزِیْزِ الرَّحِیْمِ (وَاَنَّ هٰذَا صِرَاطِیْ مُّسْتَقِیْمًا فَاتَّبِعُوْهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوْا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَنْ سَبِیْلِهٖ) ضَلَّ وَاللہِ وَاَضَلَّ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ سِوَاكَ وَعَنَدَ عَنِ الْحَقِّ مَنْ عَادَاكَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ سَمِعْنَا لِاَمْرِكَ وَاَطَعْنَا وَاتَّبَعْنَا صِرَاطَكَ الْمُسْتَقِیْمَ فَاهْدِنَا رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُزِغْ قُلُوْبَنَا بَعْدَ اِذْ هَدَیْتَنَا اِلٰی طَاعَتِكَ وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الشَّاكِرِیْنَ لِاَنْعُمِكَ۔

And I bear witness that you are the one intended in the following saying of the Almighty, All-merciful Lord: “And this is My path, the right one; therefore, follow it, and follow not other ways, for they will lead you away from His way.” I swear by Allah that whoever follows anyone other than you has in fact strayed off the right way and misled others (ie. those who imitate him), and that whoever incurs the hostility of you has undoubtedly rejected the right. O Allah, we have listened to Your command obeyed, and followed Your straight path; therefore, (please do) guide us, O our Lord! And do not cause our hearts to deviate after You have guided us to the obedience to You, and include us with those who always thank You for Your bounties.

اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ قوی و مہربان کے قول میں آپ ہی مراد ہیں کہ بے شک یہ میرا سیدھا راستہ ہے پس اس کی پیروی کرو اور ٹیڑھے راستوں پر نہ چلو کہ وہ تمہیں اس کے راستے سے بھٹکا دیں گے بخدا! آپ کے غیر کا پیروکار گمراہ کرنے والا ہے اور آپ کا دشمن حق و حقیقت کا دشمن ہے اے معبود! ہم نے تیرا فرمان سنا اور اطاعت کی اور تیری صراط مستقیم (علیؑ) کی پیروی کی پس قائم رکھ ہمیں اے ہمارے رب اور جب ہمیں اپنی اطاعت کی راہ دکھائی ہے تو ہمارے دلوں کو کج نہ ہونے دے اور ہمیں اپنی نعمتوں کا شکر گزار بنادے۔

وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ لَمْ تَزَلْ لِلْهَوٰی مُخَالِفًا وَلِلتُّقٰی مُحَالِفًا وَّعَلٰی كَظْمِ الْغَیْظِ قَادِرًا وَّعَنِ النَّاسِ غَافِرًا عَافِیًا وَّاِذَا عُصِیَ اللہُ سَاخِطًا وَّاِذَا اُطِیْعَ اللہُ رَاضِیًا وَّبِمَا عَهِدَ اِلَیْكَ عَامِلًا، رَاعِیًا لِمَا اسْتُحْفِظْتَ حَافِظًا لِّمَا اسْتُوْدِعْتَ مُبَلِّغًا مَّا حُمِّلْتَ مُنْتَظِرًا مَّا وُعِدْتَ۔

And I also bear witness that you have always been at variance with whimsical desires as you have always been in line with piety, you have always been capable of suppressing your rage, you have always forgiven and pardoned people, and when Allah is disobeyed, you have always been furious, and when He is obeyed, you have always been pleased, and you have always carried out what Allah has commissioned you to do, you have always observed what has been entrusted with you, you have always kept what has been confided to you, you have always conveyed what you were ordered to convey, and you have always expected that which you were promised.

میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ ہمیشہ خواہشِ نفس کے مخالف پرہیز گاری کے حامی غصے کو پینے پر قادر اور لوگوں کو معاف کرنے بخش دینے والے رہے آپ خدا کی نافرمانی پر ناراض اور اس کی اطاعت پر راضی ہوئے اپنی ذمہ داری پوری کرنے والے قابلِ حفاظت چیزوں کے نگہبان خدا و رسولؐ کی امانتوں کے محافظ احکام الہٰی کے مبلغ اور اس کے وعدوں کے منتظر رہے۔

وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ مَا اتَّقَیْتَ ضَارِعًا وَلَا اَمْسَكْتَ عَنْ حَقِّكَ جَازِعًا وَّلَا اَحْجَمْتَ عَنْ مُجَاهَدَۃِ غَاصِبِیْكَ نَاكِلًا وَّلَا اَظْهَرْتَ الرِّضٰی بِخِلَافِ مَا یُرْضِی اللہَ مُدَاهِنًا وَّلَا وَهَنْتَ لِمَا اَصَابَكَ فِیْ سَبِیْلِ اللہِ وَلَا ضَعُفْتَ وَلَا اسْتَكَنْتَ عَنْ طَلَبِ حَقِّكَ مُرَاقِبًا۔

And I bear witness that as you sometimes conceded some things, you did not do that on account of humiliation, and as you sometimes did not demand with your right, you did not do that on account of fear, and as you sometimes stopped combating those who usurped your right, you did not do so on account of weakness, and as you (on a certain occasion) showed contentment to things to which Allah is not pleased, you did not do so on account of flattery, and you have never been weakened by what befell you for the sake of Allah, and you have never been feeble and you have never abased yourself as regards demanding with your rights on account of fear.

اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ کی روا داری کمزوری کی وجہ سے نہ تھی آپ کی اپنے حق پر خاموشی خوف کے باعث نہ تھی غاصبوں سے جہاد نہ کرنے میں آپ کی سستی کا دخل نہ تھا آپ نے رضاءالہٰی کے خلاف سہل پسندی سے اپنی رضا مندی کا اظہار نہیں کیا اور خدا کی راہ میں مصیبتو ں پر کبھی کم ہمتی سے کام نہیں لیا آپ نے دیکھنے سننے اپنا حق طلب کرنے میں کوئی کمزوری اور ناتوانی نہیں دکھائی۔

مَعَاذَ اللہِ اَنْ تَكُوْنَ كَذٰلِكَ بَلْ اِذْ ظُلِمْتَ اِحْتَسَبْتَ رَبَّكَ وَفَوَّضْتَ اِلَیْهِ اَمْرَكَ وَذَكَّرْتَهُمْ فَمَا ادَّكَرُوْا و وَعَظْتَهُمْ فَمَا اتَّعَظُوْا وَخَوَّفْتَهُمُ اللہَ فَمَا تَخَوَّفُوْا وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ یَا اَمِیْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ جَاهَدْتَ فِیْ اللہِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهٖ حَتّٰی دَعَاكَ اللہُ اِلٰی جِوَارِهٖ وَقَبَضَكَ اِلَیْهِ بِاِخْتِیَارِهٖ وَاَلْزَمَ اَعْدَآئَكَ الْحُجَّۃَ بِقَتْلِهِمْ اِیَّاكَ لِتَكُوْنَ الْحُجَّۃُ لَكَ عَلَیْهِمْ مَعَ مَالَكَ مِنَ الْحُجَجِ الْبَالِغَۃِ عَلٰی جَمِیْعِ خَلْقِهٖ۔

I seek Allah’s refuge against such claims; rather, when you were wronged, you relied upon your Lord in these questions and entrusted your affair to Him, and as you reminded them (of their allegiance to you), they did not regard it, and as you preached them, they did not accept from you, and as you instructed them to fear Allah, they did not mind. I also bear witness, O Commander of the Faithful, that you strove in the way of Allah in the most appropriate way until Allah summoned you to be in His vicinity, chose to grasp you, and established the argument against your enemies who killed you, so that you should have argument against them, although you enjoy conclusive arguments against all of His creatures.

اس سے خدا کی پناہ کہ آپ اس طرح کے ہوں بلکہ جب آپ پر ظلم کیا گیا جس پر آپ نے صبر کیا اور اپنا یہ معاملہ خدا کے سپرد کر دیا آپ نے انہیں نصیحت کی تو انہوں نے قبول نہ کی ان کو سمجھایا تو وہ نہیں سمجھے اور آپ نے خد ا سے ڈرایا تو وہ نہیں ڈرے اے مؤمنوں کے امیر میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ نے خداکے لئے وہ جہاد کیا جو جہاد کرنے کا حق ہے یہاں تک کہ خدا نے آپ کو جوار ِرحمت میں بلا لیا اور اپنے اختیار سے آپ کی جان قبض کر لی اور آپ کے دشمنوں پر حجت لازم کردی جب کہ انہوں نے آپ کو قتل کیا تاکہ آپ کی طرف سے ان پر حجت قائم ہو جائے ان کامل حجتوں کےعلاوہ جو آپ کی طرف سے ساری مخلوق پر قائم ہیں۔

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا اَمِیْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ عَبَدْتَ اللہَ مُخْلِصًا وَجَاهَدْتَ فِی اللہِ صَابِرًا وَّجُدْتَ بِنَفْسِكَ مُحْتَسِبًا وَّعَمِلْتَ بِكِتَابِهٖ وَاتَّبَعْتَ سُنَّۃَ نَبِیِّهٖ وَاَقَمْتَ الصَّلٰوۃَ وَاٰتَیْتَ الزَّكٰوۃَ وَاَمَرْتَ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ وَنَهَیْتَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ مَا اسْتَطَعْتَ مُبْتَغِیًا مَا عِنْدَ اللہِ رَاغِبًا فِیْمَا وَعَدَ اللہُ۔

Peace be upon you, O Commander of the Faithful. You have worshipped Allah sincerely, striven in the way of Allah steadfastly, sacrificed yourself, seeking Allah’s judgment, acted upon His Book, followed His Prophet’s instructions, performed the prayers, paid the zakat, enjoined what is right, and forbidden what is wrong as much as you could, seeking what is possessed by Allah and desiring for that which Allah has promised.

آپ پر سلام ہو اے مؤمنوں کے امیر کہ آپ نے خدا کی خالص عبادت کی خدا کی راہ میں صبرو تحمل کے ساتھ جہاد کیا اور ُحسن نیت کے ساتھ اپنی جان قربان کردی آپ نے کتاب ِخدا پر عمل کیا اس کے نبی کی سنت کی پیروی فرمائی آپ نے نماز قائم رکھی اور زکوٰۃ دیتے رہے آپ نے نیکی کا حکم دیا اور برائی سے منع کیا جہاں تک آپ کی وسعت تھی آپ کا مقصد رضاء الہٰی تھا خدا کے وعدوں پر توجہ رکھی۔

لَا تَحْفِلُ بِالنَّوَآئِبِ وَلَا تَهِنُ عِنْدَ الشَّدَآئِدِ وَلَا تُحْجِمُ عَنْ مُحَارِبٍ اَفِكَ مَنْ نَّسَبَ غَیْرَ ذٰلِكَ اِلَیْكَ وَافْتَرٰی بَاطِلًا عَلَیْكَ وَاَوْلٰی لِمَنْ عَنَدَ عَنْكَ لَقَدْ جَاهَدْتَ فِی اللہِ حَقَّ الْجِهَادِ وَصَبَرْتَ عَلَی الْاَذٰی صَبْرَ احْتِسَابٍ وَاَنْتَ اَوَّلُ مَنْ اٰمَنَ بِاللہِ وَصَلّٰی لَهٗ وَجَاهَدَ وَاَبْدٰی صَفْحَتَهٗ فِیْ دَارِ الشِّرْكِ وَالْاَرْضُ مَشْحُوْنَۃٌ ضَلَالَۃً وَ الشَّیْطَانُ یُعْبَدُ جَهْرَۃً وَاَنْتَ الْقَآئِلُ ’’لَا تَزِیْدُنِیْ كَثْرَۃُ النَّاسِ حَوْلِیْ عِزَّۃً وَلَا تَفَرُّقُهُمْ عَنِّیْ وَحْشَۃً۔

You have never cared for misfortunes, never yielded to the hardships, and never stopped fighting against any warrior on account of fear. Indeed, whoever claims anything opposite to this to you is actually fabricating and is forging lies to you, and whoever leaves your path is drawing himself near to destruction. You have certainly striven in the way of Allah as exactly as required, stood harm for the sake of Allah, have been the foremost to believe in Allah, the first to offer prayer and to strive, and the first to expose himself in the land of the polytheists, while the lands were suffocated with deviation, Satan was worshipped openly, and (in the midst of this) you said, “The big number of people that surround me shall never increase my might, nor shall their departing me make me feel lonely.

آپ مصائب میں گھبرائے نہیں اور سختیوں میں کمزوری ظاہر نہیں کی نہ آپ نے کسی دشمن کو پیٹھ دکھائی جس نے اس کے علاوہ آپ کے بارے میں کچھ کہا اس نے آپ پر بہتان لگایا اور آپ کے بارے میں جھوٹ باندھا اور یہ باتیں آپ کے دشمنوں میں موجود رہی ہیں جب کہ آپ نے خدا کی خاطر جہاد کا حق ادا کر دیا اور دکھوں پر خیر خواہی کے ساتھ صبرو استقامت کا مظاہرہ کیا آپ ہی وہ پہلے فرد ہیں کہ خدا پر ایمان لائے اس کی نماز پڑھی اور جہاد کیا آپ نے اس شرک کے مرکز اور گمراہی سے بھری دنیا میں خود کو آشکار کیا جہاں کھلے عام شیطان کی پوجا کی جارہی تھی وہ آپ ہی ہیں جو کہہ رہے تھے کہ میرے گرد لوگوں کی کثرت سے میری عزّت میں کچھ اضافہ نہیں ہوتا اور نہ ان کے ہٹ جانے سے مجھے وحشت ہوتی ہے۔

وَلَوْ اَسْلَمَنِی النَّاسُ جَمِیْعًا لَمْ اَكُنْ مُتَضَرِّعًا‘‘ اِعْتَصَمْتَ بِاللہِ فَعَزَزْتَ وَاٰثَرْتَ الْاٰخِرَۃَ عَلَی الْاُوْلٰی فَزَهِدْتَ وَاَیَّدَكَ اللہُ وَهَدَاكَ وَاَخْلَصَكَ وَاجْتَبٰیكَ فَمَا تَنَاقَضَتْ اَفْعَالُكَ وَلَا اخْتَلَفَتْ اَقْوَالُكَ وَلَا تَقَلَّبَتْ اَحْوَالُكَ وَلَا اِدَّعَیْتَ وَلَا افْتَرَیْتَ عَلَی اللہِ كَذِبًا وَلَا شَرِهْتَ اِلَی الْحُطَامِ وَلَا دَنَّسَكَ الْاٰثَامُ وَلَمْ تَزَلْ عَلٰی بَیِّنَۃٍ مِّنْ رَبِّكَ وَیَقِیْنٍ مِّنْ اَمْرِكَ تَهْدِیْ اِلَی الْحَقِّ وَاِلٰی صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِیْمٍ۔

I thus shall never submit even if all peoples desert me.” Because you resorted to Allah, you were the mightiest, and because you preferred the Next World to this worldly life, you have been ascetic. Thus, Allah supported, guided, chose, and selected you. Your deeds were never contradictory, your words were never paradoxical, your situations were never fickle, you have never claimed falsely or forged lies against Allah, you have never been greedy for the wreckage of this world, you have never been defiled by sins, you have always had manifest proof from your Lord, and you have always been certain of what you do, as you used to guide to the right and to a straight path.

اگر سب لوگ مجھے چھوڑ کر جائیں تو بھی میں باطل کے آگے نہیں جھکوں گا آپ نے خدا سے تعلق رکھا تو اس نے عزّت عطا کی آپ نے دنیا کے مقابل آخرت کو ترجیح دی پس آپ نے زہد کو اپنایا پھر خدا نے آپ کی تائید فرمائی آپ کو ہدایت دی آپ کو خالص اپنا بنایا اور برگزیدہ کیا پس آپ کے افعال میں تفریق نہیں آپ کے اقوال میں اختلاف نہیں آپ کے احوال متغیر نہیں ہوئے آپ نے کوئی غلط دعویٰ نہیں کیا نہ آپ نے خدا کے بارے میں جھوٹ کہا آپ نے دنیا کمانے کی خواہش نہیں رکھی نہ گناہوں نے آپ کو آلودہ کیا آپ ہمیشہ ہمیشہ خدا کی دلیل و حجت پر قائم اور یقین کے ساتھ عمل کرتے رہے یعنی حق و حقیقت راہِ راست کی طرف رہبری فرمائی۔

اَشْهَدُ شَهَادَۃَ حَقٍّ وَاُقْسِمُ بِاللہِ قَسَمَ صِدْقٍ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا وَاٰلَهٗ صَلَوَاتُ اللہِ عَلَیْهِمْ سَادَاتُ الْخَلْقِ وَاَنَّكَ مَوْلَایَ وَمَوْلَی الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَاَنَّكَ عَبْدُ اللہِ وَ وَلِیُّهٗ وَاَخُوْ الرَّسُوْلِ وَ وَصِیُّهٗ وَ وَارِثُهٗ وَاَنَّهٗ الْقَآئِلُ لَكَ ’’وَالَّذِیْ بَعَثَنِیْ بِالْحَقِّ مَا اٰمَنَ بِیْ مَنْ كَفَرَ بِكَ وَلَا اَقَرَّ بِاللهِ مَنْ جَحَدَكَ وَقَدْ ضَلَّ مَنْ صَدَّ عَنْكَ وَلَمْ یَهْتَدِ اِلَی اللہِ وَلَا اِلَیَّ مَنْ لَّا یَهْتَدِ بِكَ‘‘۔

I bear true witness and I truly swear by Allah that Muhammad and his Household, may Allah’s blessings be upon them, are the masters of all creatures and you are indeed my master and the master of all believers, the servant and friend of Allah, the brother, successor, and heir of the Messenger, who used to say to you, “I swear this by Him Who sent me with the truth: whoever denies you has never believed in me, whoever rejects you has never confessed of Allah’s existence, whoever abandons you has actually strayed off, and whoever is not guided be you has never found the way to Allah or to me.

کہ گواہی دیتا ہوں میں سچی گواہی اور قسم کھاتا ہوں اللہ کی سچی قسم کہ محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ ساری مخلوق کے سردار ہیں خدا کی رحمتیں ہوں ان پر اور بے شک آپ میرے مولا اور مؤمنوں کے مولا ہیں یقینًا آپ خدا کے بندے اس کے ولی رسولؐ کے بھائی ان کے وصی اور ان کے وارث ہیں اور انہوں نے آپ کے لئے فرمایا قسم اس کی جس نے مجھے حق کے ساتھ مبعوث کیا کہ وہ مجھ پر ایمان نہیں لایا جس نے تمہارا ا نکار کیا اور جو تمہارا منکر ہوا اس نے خدا کو نہیں مانا وہ گمراہ ہوا جوتم سے پھر گیا جو تمہاری ولایت کا قائل نہیں وہ اللہ کی طرف اور میری طرف راہ نہیں پائے گا۔

وَهُوَ قَوْلُ رَبِّیْ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ (وَاِنِّیْ لَغَفَّارٌ لِّمَنْ تَابَ وَاٰمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا ثُمَّ اهْتَدٰی) اِلٰی وِلَایَتِكَ مَوْلَایَ فَضْلُكَ لَا یَخْفٰی وَنُوْرُكَ لَا یُطْفَاُ وَاَنَّ مَنْ جَحَدَكَ الظَّلُوْمُ الْاَشْقٰی مَوْلَایَ اَنْتَ الْحُجَّۃُ عَلَی الْعِبَادِ وَالْهَادِیْ اِلَی الرَّشَادِ وَالْعُدَّۃُ لِلْمَعَادِ۔

Confirming this, my Lord the Almighty and All-majestic says, ‘Most surely, I am most Forgiving to him who repents and believes and does good, then follows the right path.’ To follow the right path is to adhere to your Divinely commissioned leadership.” O master, your favor cannot be concealed, and your light cannot be extinguished. Verily, he who rejects you shall be the most misfortunate wrongdoer. O master, you are the (Divine) claim against the servants, the guiding to uprightness, and our means on the Promised Day.

یہی میری عزّت وجلالت والے رب کا قول ہے یقینًا میں اسے بخشنے والا ہوں جو توبہ کرے ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل کرے پھر آپ کی ولایت کے راستے پر آئے میرے سردار آپ کی بزرگی پوشیدہ نہیں آپ کا نور بجھتا نہیں بے شک آپ سے جنگ کرنے والا بڑا ظالم اور بد بخت ہے میرے آقا آپ بندوں پر خدا کی حجت ہیں راہِ راست کی طرف لے جانے والے اور آخرت کے لئے سرمایہ ہیں۔

مَوْلَایَ لَقَدْ رَفَعَ اللہُ فِی الْاُوْلٰی مَنْزِلَتَكَ وَاَعْلَی فِیْ الْاٰخِرَۃِ دَرَجَتَكَ وَبَصَّرَكَ مَا عَمِیَ عَلٰی مَنْ خَالَفَكَ وَحَالَ بَیْنَكَ وَبَیْنَ مَوَاهِبِ اللہِ لَكَ فَلَعَنَ اللہُ مُسْتَحِلِّی الْحُرْمَۃِ مِنْكَ وَذَآئِدِی الْحَقِّ عَنْكَ وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّهُمُ الْاَخْسَرُوْنَ الَّذِیْنَ تَلْفَحُ وُجُوْهَهُمُ النَّارُ وَهُمْ فِیْهَا كَالِحُوْنَ۔

O master, Allah has indeed elevated your standing in this world, raised your rank in the Hereafter, and led you to that which has not been seen by those who antagonized you, those who stood between you and Allah’s gifts to you. So, curse of Allah be upon those who violated your sanctity and those who prevented you from taking your right. I do bear witness that these are the biggest losers whose faces shall be scorched by Hellfire and they therein shall be in severe affliction.

میرے مولا!دنیا میں خدا نے آپ کا مرتبہ بلند کیا اور آخرت میں آپ کو بلند تر قرار دیا ہے خدا نے آپ کو بصیرت دی جب کہ آپ کے مخالف نابینا ہیں اس لئے وہ آپ کے اور آپ کے لئے خدا کے عطیوں کے درمیان حائل ہوگئے پس خدا لعنت کرے ان پر جنہوں نے آپ کی حرمت کا خیال نہ رکھا اور آپ کے حق پر قبضہ کر بیٹھے میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ وہ بہت گھاٹے میں ہیں آگ ان کے چہروں کوپگھلائے گی اور وہ اس میں خوار ہوں گے۔

وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ مَا اَقْدَمْتَ وَلَا اَحْجَمْتَ وَلَا نَطَقْتَ وَلَا اَمْسَكْتَ اِلَّا بِاَمْرٍ مِّنَ اللہِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖ قُلْتَ ’’وَالَّذِیْ نَفْسِیْ بِیَدِهٖ لَقَدْ نَظَرَ اِلَیَّ رَسُوْلُ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ اَضْرِبُ بِالسَّیْفِ قُدْمًا فَقَالَ یَا عَلِیُّ اَنْتَ مِنِّیْ بِمَنْزِلَۃِ هَارُوْنَ مِنْ مُّوْسٰی اِلَّا اَنَّهٗ لَا نَبِیَّ بَعْدِیْ۔

And I bear witness that whenever you did something or you avoided doing something, and whenever you said something or you kept silent; all these were by the order of Allah and His Messenger. You thus said, “I swear this by Him Who grasps my soul: when the Messenger of Allah, peace of Allah be upon him and his Household watched me striking (the enemies) with my sword ceaselessly, he said to me, ‘O Ali, your position to me is the same as (Prophet) Aaron’s position to (Prophet) Moses; yet, there shall be no prophet after me.

اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ کا آگے بڑھنا پیچھے ہٹنا آپ کا کلام کرنا اور خاموش رہنا بس اللہ اور اس کے رسولؐ کے حکم سے ہے آپ نے فرمایا: قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس کے قبضہ میں میری جان ہے کہ حضرت رسولؐ اللہ نے مجھ پر نظر فرمائی جب میں بڑھ بڑھ کے تلوار چلا رہا تھا پس فرمایا :اے علیؑ! میرے ساتھ تیری وہی نسبت ہے جو ہارونؑ کی موسیٰؑ سے تھی مگر یہ کہ میرے بعد کوئی نبی نہیں۔

وَاُعْلِمُكَ اَنَّ مَوْتَكَ وَحَیٰوتَكَ مَعِیْ وَعَلٰی سُنَّتِیْ فَوَ اللہِ مَا كَذِبْتُ وَلَا كُذِّبْتُ وَلَا ضَلَلْتُ وَلَا ضُلَّ بِیْ وَلَا نَسِیْتُ مَا عَهِدَ اِلَیَّ رَبِّیْ وَاِنِّیْ لَعَلٰی بَیِّنَۃٍ مِّنْ رَّبِّیْ بَیَّنَهَا لِنَبِیِّهٖ وَبَیَّنَهَا النَّبِیُّ لِیْ وَاِنِّیْ لَعَلَی الطَّرِیْقِ الْوَاضِحِ اَلْفِظُهٗ لَفْظًا۔

I would like to further inform you that your death and your lifestyle shall be with me and according to my instruction.’ (Imam Ali continued,) I swear by Allah that I have not told untruth and none shall belie me, and I have never strayed off and none shall ever mislead me, and I have never forgotten my Lord’s instructions to me, and I do follow the true path of my Lord that He showed His Prophet and the Prophet showed me, and, most certainly, I am following the lucid path step by step.”

اور میں تجھے بتا دوں کہ بے شک تیری موت و حیات میرے ساتھ اور میری سنت پر ہے بخدا! میں نے جھوٹ نہیں کہا نہ جھوٹ سنا نہ میں گمراہ ہوا نہ گمراہ کیا اور میں اپنے رب کی فرمائش نہیں بھولامیں ضرور اس دلیل پر قائم ہوں جومیرے رب نے اپنے نبیؐ کو بتائی اور نبیؐ نے مجھ کو سمجھائی میں لفظ بہ لفظ واضح راستے اور طریقے پر رواں ہوں۔

صَدَقْتَ وَاللہِ وَقُلْتَ الْحَقَّ فَلَعَنَ اللہُ مَنْ سَاوَاكَ بِمَنْ نَّاوَاكَ وَاللہُ جَلَّ اسْمُهٗ یَقُوْلُ (هَلْ یَسْتَوِی الَّذِیْنَ یَعْلَمُوْنَ وَالَّذِیْنَ لَا یَعْلَمُوْنَ) فَلَعَنَ اللہُ مَنْ عَدَلَ بِكَ مَنْ فَرَضَ اللہُ عَلَیْهِ وِلَایَتَكَ وَاَنْتَ وَلِیُّ اللہِ وَاَخُوْ رَسُوْلِهٖ وَالذَّآبُّ عَنْ دِیْنِهٖ وَالَّذِیْ نَطَقَ الْقُرْاٰنُ بِتَفْضِیْلِهٖ۔

By Allah I swear, true are your words and you have said nothing but the truth. Curse of Allah be upon those who compare you to your enemies, while Allah, Whose Name be elevated, says, “Are those who know and those who do not know alike?” So, the curse of Allah be upon those who compared you to those whom Allah has ordered to follow your leadership, while you are the friend of Allah, the brother of His Messenger, the defender of His religion, and the one whose preference (to all others) has been declared by the Qur’an; hence, Almighty Allah says, “And Allah shall grant to the strivers above the holders back a mighty reward. (High) degrees from Him, protection, and mercy. And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.”

بخدا! آپ نے سچ فرمایا اور حق بات کہی پس خدا لعنت کرے اس پر جس نے آپ کو آپ کے مخالف کے برابر جانا جب کہ بلند نام والا خدا کہتا ہے کہ آیا برابر ہو سکتے ہیں جاننے والے اور وہ جو نہیں جانتے ہیں؟ پس خدا لعنت کرے اس پر جو خدا کی طرف سے واجب شدہ آپ کی ولایت سے منہ موڑے رہا جب کہ آپ خدا کے دوست اس کے رسولؐ کے برادر اور اس کے دین کو بچانے والے ہیں آپ وہ ہیں جس کی فضیلت کو قرآن ظاہر کرتا ہے جیسے خدائے تعالیٰ نے فرمایا کہ خدا نے بڑائی دی ہے مجاہدوں کو پیچھے بیٹھے رہنے والوں پر ان کے لئے اس کی طرف سے بڑا اجر اور بلند درجہ بخشش اور رحمت ہے اور خدا بہت بخشنے والااور مہربان ہے۔

قَالَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی (وَفَضَّلَ اللہُ الْمُجَاهِدِیْنَ عَلَی الْقَاعِدِیْنَ اَجْرًا عَظِیْمًا دَرَجَاتٍ مِّنْهُ وَمَغْفِرَۃً وَّرَحْمَۃً وَّكَانَ اللہُ غَفُوْرًا رَّحِیْمًا) وَّقَالَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی (اَجَعَلْتُمْ سِقَایَۃَ الْحَآجِّ وَعِمَارَۃَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ كَمَنْ اٰمَنَ بِاللہِ وَالْیَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ وَجَاهَدَ فِیْ سَبِیْلِ اللہِ لَا یَسْتَوُوْنَ عِنْدَ اللہِ وَاللہُ لَا یَهْدِی الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِیْنَ۔

Almighty Allah has also said, “Do you make one who undertakes the giving of drink to the pilgrims and the guarding of the Sacred Mosque to be like him who believes in Allah and the latter day and strives hard in Allah’s way? They are not equal with Allah; and Allah does not guide the unjust people.

اور خدائے تعالیٰ نے یہ بھی فرمایا: آیا تم حاجیوں کو پانی پلانے اور مسجد الحرام کو آباد کرنے والے کے عمل کو ویسا قرار دیتے ہو جو کہ خدا و یوم ِآخرت پر ایمان لایا اور اس نے راہِ خدا میں جہاد کیا وہ خدا کے ہاں برابر نہیں ہیں اور خدا ظالم لوگوں کو ہدایت نہیں دیتا وہ۔

اَلَّذِیْنَ آمَنُوْا وَهَاجَرُوْا وَجَاهَدُوْا فِیْ سَبِیْلِ اللہِ بِاَمْوَالِهِمْ وَاَنْفُسِهِمْ اَعْظَمُ دَرَجَۃً عِنْدَ اللہِ وَاُولٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الْفَآئِزُوْنَ یُبَشِّرُهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ بِرَحْمَۃٍ مِّنْهُ وَرِضْوَانٍ وَجَنَّاتٍ لَهُمْ فِیْهَا نَعِیْمٌ مُّقِیْمٌ خَالِدِیْنَ فِیْهَآ اَبَدًا اِنَّ اللہَ عِنْدَهٗ اَجْرٌ عَظِیْمٌ)۔

Those who believed, fled their homes, and strove hard in Allah’s way with their property and their souls are much higher in rank with Allah; and those are they who are the achievers of their objects. Their Lord gives them good news of mercy from Himself and His good pleasure and gardens, wherein lasting blessings shall be theirs, abiding therein for ever. Surely, Allah has a mighty reward with Him.”

جو ایمان لائے ہجرت کی اور انہوں نے خدا کی راہ میں جہاد کیا اپنے مالوں اور جانوں سےخدا کے نزدیک ان کا بڑا درجہ ہے وہی تو کامیاب ہیں ان کا پروردگار بشارت دیتا ہے ان کو اپنی رحمت اورخوشنودی کی اور ان کے لئے باغات ہیں نعمت بھرے جن میں وہ ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہا کریں گے کیوں کہ خدا وہ ہے جس کے ہاں بہت بڑا اجر ہے۔

اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ الْمَخْصُوْصُ بِمِدْحَۃِ اللہِ الْمُخْلِصُ لِطَاعَۃِ اللہِ لَمْ تَبْغِ بِالْهُدٰی بَدَلًا وَّلَمْ تُشْرِكْ بِعِبَادَۃِ رَبِّكَ اَحَدًا وَّاَنَّ اللہَ تَعَالَی اسْتَجَابَ لِنَبِیِّهٖ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ فِیْكَ دَعْوَتَهٗ ثُمَّ اَمَرَهٗ بِاِظْهَارِ مَا اَوْلَاكَ لِاُمَّتِهٖ اِعْلَآءً لِشَاْنِكَ وَاِعْلَانًا لِبُرْهَانِكَ وَدَحْضًا لِّلْاَبَاطِیْلِ وَقَطْعًا لِّلْمَعَاذِیْرِ۔

I bear witness that Allah’s words of praise mean you exclusively and you are the most sincere in the obedience to Allah as you have never accepted any alternative for the right guidance and you have never associated anyone in your worshipping your Lord. And Almighty Allah has responded the prayer of His Prophet peace of Allah be upon him and his Household, concerning you. He then ordered him to proclaim the position of succeeding him in (the leadership of) his nation, as a sign of showing your elevated position, declaration of the evidence on your leadership, refutation of the false claims, and repudiation of all excuses.

میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ خدا کی مدح کے خاص مصداق ہیں خدا کی اطاعت میں مخلص ہیں آپ نے ہدایت کے بدلے میں کچھ نہیں چاہا اور اپنے یگانہ خدا کی عبادت میں کسی کو شریک نہیں کیا بے شک خدائے تعالی ٰنے اپنے نبی ؐکی وہ دعا قبول فرمائی جو آپ کے بارے میں تھی پھر ان کو حکم دیا کہ ان کی امت پر آپ کو جو بڑائی ہے اس کا اظہار کریں تاکہ آپ کی شان ظاہر ہو نیزآپ کے بارے میں برہان و دلیل کا اعلان کریں کہ باطل ہٹ جائے اور بہانے کٹ جائیں۔

فَلَمَّا اَشْفَقَ مِنْ فِتْنَۃِ الْفَاسِقِیْنَ وَاتَّقٰی فِیْكَ الْمُنَافِقِیْنَ اَوْحٰی اِلَیْهِ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ (یَآ اَیُّهَا الرَّسُوْلُ بَلِّغْ مَآ اُنْزِلَ اِلَیْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ وَاِنْ لَمْ تَفْعَلْ فَمَا بَلَّغْتَ رِسَالَتَهٗ وَاللہُ یَعْصِمُكَ مِنَ النَّاسِ) فَوَضَعَ عَلٰی نَفْسِهٖ اَوْزَارَ الْمَسِیْرِ وَنَهَضَ فِیْ رَمَضَآءِ الْهَجِیْرِ فَخَطَبَ وَاَسْمَعَ وَنَادٰی فَاَبْلَغَ ثُمَّ سَئَلَهُمْ اَجْمَعَ فَقَالَ هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ فَقَالُوْا اللّٰھُمَّ بَلٰی۔

But when he (ie. the Prophet) worried about the sedition that would be aroused by the transgressing group due to such declaration and he did not want you to be faced by the hypocrites, the Lord of the worlds revealed to him, saying, “O Messenger! Proclaim the message which has been sent to you from your Lord. If you did it not, you would not have fulfilled and proclaimed His mission. And Allah will defend you from men (who mean mischief).” Accordingly, he (ie. the Prophet) burdened himself with the loads of (long) walking and stood up under the burning sun in the midst of the desert, where he delivered a speech, made everyone listen to him, and called upon them with rhetorical language. He then asked them all, “Have I conveyed (the message)?” “Yes, you have. We swear it by Allah,” they answered.

پس وہ آپ کے حق میں بد کرداروں اور منافقوں سے خوف و خطر محسوس کرتے تھے تب جہانوں کے پروردگار نے ان کو یہ وحی بھیجی کہ اے رسولؐ!جو کچھ تمہارے رب کی طرف سے نازل کیا گیا وہ پہنچا دو اگر تم نے ایسا نہ کیا تو تم نے اس کا کوئی پیغام نہیں پہنچایا اور خدا تمہیں لوگوں سے محفوظ رکھے گا پس آنحضرتؐ نے سفر کی زحمت کا بوجھ اٹھا لیا غدیر کے تپتے ہوئے صحرا میں رک گئے پس خطبہ دیا اور بآواز بلند سب کو سنایا پھر اس اجتماع سے دریافت فرمایا آیا میں نے تبلیغ کردی؟ سب نے کہا: ہاں۔

فَقَالَ اللّٰھُمَّ اشْهَدْ ثُمَّ قَالَ اَلَسْتُ اَوْلٰی بِالْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ مِنْ اَنْفُسِهِمْ فَقَالُوْا بَلٰی فَاَخَذَ بِیَدِكَ وَقَالَ ’’مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ فَهٰذَا عَلِیٌّ مَوْلَاهُ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ وَالِ مَنْ وَالَاهُ وَعَادِ مَنْ عَادَاهُ وَانْصُرْ مَنْ نَصَرَهٗ وَاخْذُلْ مَنْ خَذَلَهٗ‘‘ فَمَا آمَنَ بِمَا اَنْزَلَ اللہُ فِیْكَ عَلٰی نَبِیِّهٖ اِلَّا قَلِیْلٌ وَّ وَمَا زَادَ اَكْثَرُہُمْ اِلَّا تُجِبُّرٌ وَتَضْلِیْلٌ لَا زَادَ اَكْثَرَهُمْ غَیْرَ تَخْسِیْرٍ۔

“O Allah, be the witness!” the Prophet said. He then added, “Do I not enjoy more priority to the selves of the believers than that which they enjoy on themselves?” “Yes, you do,” answered they. He then took you from the hand and said, “This Ali is now the master of everyone who has betaken me as his master. O Allah, (please do) support those who support Ali, be the enemy of those who incur the hostility of Ali, give victory to those who stand by Ali, and disappoint those who disappoint Ali.” Nevertheless, none believed in what Allah has revealed to His Prophet about you except a few. Similarly, this (Divinely commissioned) declaration did not increase others but obstinacy.

تب فرمایا: اے اللہ! گواہ رہنا پھر فرمایا: آیا میں مؤمنوں پر ان کی جانوں سے بڑھ کر مختار نہیں ہوں؟ انہوں نے کہا: ہاں پس آنحضرتؑ نے آپ کا ہاتھ پکڑا اور کہا: جس کا میں مولا ہوں پس یہ علی ؑاس کا مولا ہے اے اللہ اس کے دوست سے دوستی اور اس کے دشمن سے دشمنی رکھ جو اس کی مدد کرے اس کی مدد کر اور جو اسے چھوڑے تو اسے چھوڑ دے پس وہ ایمان نہ لائے اس پر جو خدا نے آپ کے حق میں اپنے نبی پر نازل کیا لیکن تھوڑے لوگ اور ان میں زیادہ تر لوگوں نے گھاٹے کے سوا کچھ حاصل نہ کیا۔

وَلَقَدْ اَنْزَلَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی فِیْكَ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَهُمْ كَارِهُوْنَ (یَآ اَیُّهَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مَنْ یَّرْتَدَّ مِنْكُمْ عَنْ دِیْنِهٖ فَسَوْفَ یَاْتِیْ اللہُ بِقَوْمٍ یُّحِبُّهُمْ وَیُحِبُّوْنَهٗ اَذِلَّۃٍ عَلَی الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ اَعِزَّۃٍ عَلَی الْكَافِرِیْنَ یُجَاهِدُوْنَ فِیْ سَبِیْلِ اللہِ وَلَا یَخَافُوْنَ لَوْمَۃَ لَآئِمٍ ذٰلِكَ فَضْلُ اللہِ یُؤْتِیْهِ مَنْ یَّشَآءُ وَاللہُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِیْمٌ۔

In defiance of them, Almighty Allah had revealed in this connection: “O you who believe! Whoever from among you turns back from his religion, then Allah will bring a people. He shall love them and they shall love Him. (They shall be) lowly before the believers, mighty against the unbelievers. They shall strive hard in Allah’s way and shall not fear the censure of any censurer. This is Allah’s favor; He gives it to whom He pleases. And Allah is Ample giving, Knowing.

اس سے پہلے خدا نے آپ کے بارے میں آیات نازل کیں تو انہوں نے ناپسندیدگی ظاہر کی اے ایمان لانے والو! تم میں سے جو کوئی اپنے دین سے پھر جائے گا تو خدا آئندہ ایسا گروہ لے آئے گا جسے وہ چاہتا اور وہ اسے چاہتے ہیں وہ مؤمنوں کے ساتھ نرم اور کافروں پر سخت گیر ہیں وہ خدا کی راہ میں جہاد کرتے ہیں اور ملامت کرنے والوں کی ملامت سے نہیں ڈرتے یہ تو اللہ کا فضل ہے جسے چاہے عطا کرتا ہے اور اللہ وسعت والا علم والا ہے۔

اِنَّمَا وَلِیُّكُمُ اللہُ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ وَالَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا الَّذِیْنَ یُقِیْمُوْنَ الصَّلٰوۃَ وَیُؤْتُوْنَ الزَّكٰوۃَ وَهُمْ رَاكِعُوْنَ وَمَنْ یَّتَوَلَّ اللہَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗ وَالَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا فَاِنَّ حِزْبَ اللہِ هُمُ الْغَالِبُوْنَ رَبَّنَا اٰمَنَّا بِمَا اَنْزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُوْلَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِیْنَ رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوْبَنَا بَعْدَ اِذْ هَدَیْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَّدُنْكَ رَحْمَۃً اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ)۔

Only Allah is your Guardian and His Messenger and those who believe: those who keep up prayers and give alms while they are in the state of the genuflection of prayer. And whoever takes Allah and His messenger and those who believe for a guardian, then, surely, the party of Allah are they that shall be triumphant.” Our Lord! We believe in what You have revealed and we follow the messenger; so, write us down with those who bear witness. Our Lord! Make not our hearts to deviate after You have guided us aright. And grant us from Your mercy. Surely, You are the most liberal Giver.

یقیناً تمہارا ولی اللہ اور اس کا رسولؐ اور وہ ہیں جو ایمان لائے انہوں نے نماز قائم کی اور حالتِ رکوع میں زکوٰۃ دیتے ہیں اور جو لوگ اللہ اس کے رسولؐ اور صاحبان ِایمان کی ولایت قبول کر لیں تو وہ خدا کا گروہ ہیں غالب رہنے والے ہمارے رب ہم اس پر ایمان لائے جو تو نے نازل کیا اور رسولؐ کی پیروی کرتے ہیں پس ہمیں گواہوں میں لکھ لے ہمارے رب ہمارے دلوں کوٹیڑھا نہ ہونے دے جب کہ تو نے ہمیں ہدایت دی اور ہمیں اپنی طرف سے رحمت عطا فرما بے شک تو بہت عطا کرنے والا ہے۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنَّا نَعْلَمُ اَنَّ هٰذَا هُوَ الْحَقُّ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ فَالْعَنْ مَنْ عَارَضَهٗ وَاسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَذَّبَ بِهٖ وَكَفَرَ (وَسَیَعْلَمُ الَّذِیْنَ ظَلَمُوْا اَیَّ مُنْقَلَبٍ یَّنْقَلِبُونَ)۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا اَمِیْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَسَیِّدَ الْوَصِیِّیْنَ وَاَوَّلَ الْعَابِدِیْنَ وَاَزْهَدَ الزَّاهِدِیْنَ وَرَحْمَۃُ اللہِ وَبَرَكَاتُهٗ وَصَلَوَاتُهٗ وَتَحِیَّاتُهٗ اَنْتَ مُطْعِمُ) الطَّعَامَ عَلٰی حُبِّهٖ مِسْكِیْنًا وَّیَتِیْمًا وَّاَسِیْرًا اِنَّمَا نُطعِمُکُمُ لِّوَجْهِ اللہِ لَانُرِیْدُ مِنْکُمْ جَزَآءً وَّلَا شُكُوْرًا) ۔

O Allah, We do realize that this is the truth whose source is You. So, curse those who object, act arrogantly (towards it), belie, and deny it. And they who act unjustly shall know to what final place of turning they shall turn back. Peace be upon you, O Commander of the Faithful, chief of the Prophets’ successors, foremost of the worshippers, and most ascetic. May Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you. So be His peace and compliments. It is you who served a poor man, an orphan, and a prisoner with food on account of your love for Him, (you did so) for the sake of Allah, while you did not ask for reward or thanks.

اے اللہ ہم جانتے ہیں کہ یہ سب کچھ وہی حق ہے کہ جو تیری طرف سے ہے پس لعنت کر ان پر جو ان کے مخالف تکبر کرنے والے اس کا انکار کرنے جھٹلانے والے ہیں اور ظلم کرنے والوں کو جلد معلوم ہو جائے گا کہ انہیں کہاں لوٹ کر جانا ہے سلام ہوآپ پر اے مؤمنوں کے امیراوصیاء کے سردار عبادت کرنے والوں میں پہلے سب سے بڑے زاہد خدا کی رحمت ہو اور اس کی برکتیں اور اس کا درودو سلام ہو، آپ ہی خدا کی محبت میں مسکین یتیم اور اسیر کو کھانا کھلانے والے ہیں محض خدا کی خاطر کہ آپ ان سے کسی بدلے اور شکریے کے خواہاں نہ تھے۔

وَفِیْكَ اَنْزَلَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی (وَیُؤْثِرُوْنَ عَلٰٓی اَنْفُسِهِمْ وَلَوْ كَانَ بِهِمْ خَصَاصَۃٌ وَّمَنْ یُّوْقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهٖ فَاُولٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ) وَاَنْتَ الْكَاظِمُ لِلْغَیْظِ وَالْعَافِیْ عَنِ النَّاسِ وَاللہُ یُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ وَاَنْتَ الصَّابِرُ فِی الْبَاْسَآءِ وَ لضَّرَّآءِ وَحِیْنَ الْبَاْسِ وَاَنْتَ الْقَاسِمُ بِالسَّوِیَّۃِ وَالْعَادِلُ فِیْ الرَّعِیَّۃِ وَالْعَالِمُ بِحُدُوْدِ اللہِ مِنْ جَمِیْعِ الْبَرِیَّۃِ۔

Hence, Almighty Allah has revealed the following about you: “And they prefer them to themselves though poverty may afflict them. And whoever is preserved from the niggardliness of his soul, these it is that are the successful ones.” Verily, it is you who is the suppressor of rage and it is you who is the pardoner of people, and Allah loves the good doers. It is also you who is the steadfast in distress and affliction, as well as in times of conflicts. And it is you who distributes things completely equally, who is just among the subjects, and the one having full acquaintance with the laws of Allah among all people.

اور آپ کے بارے میں خدا نے نازل کیا کہ وہ دوسروں کو خود پر مقدم رکھتے ہیں اگرچہ ان کو شدید حاجت بھی ہو اور جو اپنے نفس کو بخل سے بچاتے ہیں تو وہی نجات پانے والے ہیں اور آپ غصے کو پینے والے لوگوں کو معاف کرنے والے ہیں اور خدا نیکوکاروں کو پسند کرتا ہے اور آپ تنگ دستی اور سختیوں اور ہنگام ِجنگ میں صبر کرنے والے ہیں اور آپ برابر تقسیم کرنے والے رعیت میں عدل کرنے والے اور سب سے بڑھ کر خدا کی حدوں کو جاننے والے۔

وَاللہُ تَعَالٰی اَخْبَرَ عَمَّا اَوْلَاكَ مِنْ فَضْلِهٖ بِقَوْلِهٖ (اَفَمَنْ كَانَ مُؤْمِنًا كَمَنْ كَانَ فَاسِقًا لَّا یَسْتَوٗنَ اَمَّا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ جَنَّاتُ الْمَاْوٰی نُزُلًاۢ بِمَا كَانُوْا یَعْمَلُوْنَ) وَاَنْتَ الْمَخْصُوْصُ بِعِلْمِ التَّنْزِیْلِ وَحُكْمِ التَّاوِیْلِ وَنَصِّ الرَّسُوْلِ۔

Informing about the favors that He has conferred upon you, Allah the All-exalted says, “Is he then who is a believer like him who is a transgressor? They are not equal. As for those who believe and do good, the gardens of Paradise are their abiding-place; an entertainment for what they did.” It is you to whom the knowledge of the Divine Revelation is given exclusively as well as the laws of true interpretation (of the Holy Qur’an) and the words of the Messenger.

اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے آپ کو فضیلت و بڑائی کی خبر دی اپنے قول میں کہ آیا جو مؤمن ہے وہ فاسق کے مانند ہے وہ برابر نہیں ہیں مگروہ لوگ جو ایمان لائے اور اچھے کام کرتے رہے تو ان کے لئے ہمیشگی والے باغات ہیں ان کے بدلے میں جو عمل انہوں نے کیے اور آپ کوخاص کیا گیا نزولِ آیات کے علم میں اور آیتوں کی تاویل کے مطابق حکم لگانے میں اور رسولؐ کی طرف سے نامزدگی میں۔

وَلَكَ الْمَوَاقِفُ الْمَشْهُوْدَۃُ وَالْمَقَامَاتُ الْمَشْهُوْرَۃُ وَالْاَیَّامُ الْمَذْكُوْرَۃُ یَوْمَ بَدْرٍ وَّیَوْمَ الْاَحْزَابِ(اِذْ زَاغَتِ الْاَبْصَارُ وَبَلَغَتِ الْقُلُوْبُ الْحَنَاجِرَ وَتَظُنُّوْنَ بِاللہِ الظُّنُوْنَ هُنَالِكَ ابْتُلِیَ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ وَزُلْزِلُوْا زِلْزَالًا شَدِیْدًا وَاِذْ یَقُولُ الْمُنَافِقُوْنَ وَالَّذِیْنَ فِیْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ مَّا وَعَدَنَا اللہُ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ اِلَّا غُرُوْرًا۔

You are known for your unforgettable situations, renowned positions, and memorable events, in the Battle of Badr and the Battle of the Allies (Ahzab): “When the eyes turned dull, and the hearts rose up to the throats, and you began to think diverse thoughts of Allah. There, the believers were tried and they were shaken with severe shaking. And when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts was a disease began to say: ‘Allah and His Messenger did not promise us (victory) but only to deceive.’

اور آپ کی ثابت قدمی کے مقامات ظاہر ہیں آپ کے مرتبے آشکار اور آپ کے خاص دن یادگار ہیں یعنی یوم ِبدر اور یوم ِخندق کہ جب ڈر سے آنکھیں خیرہ ہو گئیں اور دل گردنوں میں آپھنسے اور خدا کے بارے میں بد گمانیاں ہونے لگیں وہاں مؤمنوں کی آزمائش کی گئی اور ان پر سخت لرزہ طاری ہوگیا جب منافقین اور جن کے دلوں میں بیماری تھی وہ کہہ رہے تھے کہ خدا اور رسولؐ نے ہمیں جھوٹے وعدوں کے سوا کچھ نہیں دیا۔

وَاِذْ قَالَتْ طَآئِفَۃٌ مِّنْهُمْ یَآ اَهْلَ یَثْرِبَ لَا مُقَامَ لَكُمْ فَارْجِعُوْا وَیَسْتَاْذِنُ فَرِیْقٌ مِّنْهُمُ النَّبِیَّ یَقُوْلُوْنَ اِنَّ بُیُوْتَنَا عَوْرَۃٌ وَّمَا هِیَ بِعَوْرَۃٍ اِنْ یُّرِیْدُوْنَ اِلَّا فِرَارًا) وَّقَالَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی( وَلَمَّا رَاَی الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ الْاَحْزَابَ قَالُوْا هٰذَا مَا وَعَدَنَا اللہُ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ وَصَدَقَ اللہُ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ وَمَا زَادَهُمْ اِلَّا اِیْمَانًا وَّتَسْلِیْمًا) ۔

And when a party of them said, ‘O people of Yathrib! There is no place to stand for you here; therefore, go back.’ And a party of them asked permission of the prophet, saying: ‘Surely, our houses are exposed.’ And they were not exposed; they only desired to fly away.” Almighty Allah has also said: “And when the believers saw the allies, they said: ‘This is what Allah and His Messenger promised us. And Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth.’ And it only increased them in faith and submission.”

اور یاد کرو جب ان میں سے ایک گروہ نے کہا: اے یثرب والو! یہاں تمہارے لئے کوئی ٹھکانا نہیں گھروں کو چلے جاؤ اور ان میں ایک گروہ پیغمبر سے واپسی کی اجازت کے لئے کہتا تھا ہمارے گھرغیرمحفوظ ہیں حالانکہ وہ غیر محفوظ نہ تھے بلکہ وہ صرف جنگ سے بھاگنا چاہتے تھے اور خدائے تعالیٰ نے فرمایا : جب مؤمنوں نے احزاب کے لشکر کو دیکھا تو کہنے لگے: یہ وہی ہے جس کا خدا اور رسولؐ نے ہم سے وعدہ کیا خدا اوراس کا رسولؐ سچے ہیں اور اس سے ان کے ایمان و یقین میں اضافہ ہوا۔

فَقَتَلْتَ عَمْرَهُمْ وَهَزَمْتَ جَمْعَهُمْ(وَرَدَّ اللہُ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا بِغَیْظِهِمْ لَمْ یَنَالُوْا خَیْرًا وَّكَفَی اللہُ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ الْقِتَالَ) بِکَ (وَكَانَ اللہُ قَوِیًّا عَزِیْزًا) وَّیَوْمَ اُحُدٍ (اِذْ تُصْعِدُوْنَ وَلَا تَلْوٗنَ عَلٰی اَحَدٍ وَّالرَّسُوْلُ یَدْعُوْکُمْ فِیْ اُخْرٰکُمْ) وَاَنْتَ تَذُوْدُ بِهِمُ الْمُشْرِكِیْنَ عَنِ النَّبِیِّ ذَاتَ الْیَمِیْنِ وَذَاتَ الشِّمَالِ حَتّٰی رَدَّهُمُ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْكُمَا خَآئِفِیْنَ وَنَصَرَ بِكَ الْخَاذِلِیْنَ۔

On that day, you (O Ali) killed their knight, Amr (ibn Abd-Wadd) and defeated their allies: “And Allah turned back the unbelievers in their rage. They did not obtain any advantage. And Allah sufficed the believers in fighting. And Allah is Strong, Mighty.” On the Battle of Uhad: “When they ran off precipitately and did not wait for any one and the Messenger was calling them from their rear.” And you were engaged in preventing the polytheists from reaching the Prophet, on both sides, the right and the left, until Almighty Allah drove them back, full of fear. Hence, He gave victory, by means of you, to the disappointing ones.

تب آپ نے عمرو(ابن عبدؤد) کو قتل کیا اور ان کے لشکرکو شکست دی خدا نے کافروں کو غیظ و غضب کے عالم میں واپس کیا اور انہوں نے کوئی بھلائی نہ پائی اور خدا نے جنگ میں مؤمنوں کی کفایت فرمائی اور خدا قوت والا غالب تر ہے اور احد کے دن جب لوگ پہاڑ پر چڑھے جاتے تھے اور پیچھے رہ جانے والوں کو دیکھتے ہی نہ تھے اور رسولؐ ان کے پیچھے ان کو پکار رہے تھے جب کہ آپ نبی ؐکے دائیں بائیں سے مشرکین کو لڑ بھڑ کر پیچھے ڈھکیلتےجاتے تھے یہاں تک کہ خدا نے خائف دشمنوں کو آپ سے دور کر دیا اور آپ کے ذریعے بھاگے ہوؤں کو مدد دی۔

(وَیَوْمَ حُنَیْنٍ اِذْ اَعْجَبَتْكُمْ كَثْرَتُكُمْ فَلَمْ تُغْنِ عَنْكُمْ شَیْئًا وَّضَاقَتْ عَلَیْكُمُ الْاَرْضُ بِمَا رَحُبَتْ ثُمَّ وَلَّیْتُمْ مُدْبِرِیْنَ ثُمَّ اَنْزَلَ اللہُ سَكِیْنَتَهٗ عَلٰی رَسُوْلِهٖ وَعَلَی الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ) وَالْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ اَنْتَ وَمَنْ یَّلِیْكَ وَعَمُّكَ الْعَبَّاسُ یُنَادِیْ الْمُنْهَزِمِیْنَ یَا اَصْحَابَ سُوْرَۃِ الْبَقَرَۃِ یَا اَهْلَ بَیْعَۃِ الشَّجَرَۃِ۔

On the Battle of Hunain, as is accounted by the Divine Revelation: “When your great numbers made you vain, but they availed you nothing. And the earth became strait to you notwithstanding its spaciousness, then you turned back retreating. Then, Allah sent down His tranquility upon His Messenger and upon the believers.” “The believers” were you and your party. You uncle, Abbas, was calling at the defeated party: “O companions of Surah al-Baqarah! O owners of the Allegiance of the Tree!”

اور حنین کا دن جس کے بارے میں قرآن کہتا ہے : جب تمہاری کثرت نے تمہیں نازاں کر دیا پس وہ تمہارے کسی کام نہ آئی اور زمین تمہارے لئے تنگ ہو گئی جب وہ وسیع تھی پھر تم پیٹھ پھیر کر بھاگ گئے تب اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنے رسولؐ پر سکونِ قلب نازل کیا اور مؤمنوں پر بھی ہاں آپ اور آپ کے پیروکار ہی تو مؤمن ہیں اس وقت آپ کے چچا عباس بھاگنے والوں کو پکار رہے تھے اے سورۂ بقرہ کی تلاوت کرنے والو!اے بیعت ِشجرہ میں حصہ لینے والو!

حَتَّی اسْتَجَابَ لَهٗ قَوْمٌ قَدْ كَفَیْتَهُمُ الْمَؤُوْنَۃَ وَتَكَفَّلْتَ دُوْنَهُمُ الْمَعُوْنَۃَ فَعَادُوْا اٰیِسِیْنَ مِنَ الْمَثُوْبَۃِ رَاجِیْنَ وَعْدَ اللہِ تَعَالٰی بِالتَّوْبَۃِ وَذٰلِكَ قَوْلُ اللہِ جَلَّ ذِكْرُهٗ (ثُمَّ یَتُوْبُ اللہُ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ ذٰلِكَ عَلٰی مَنْ یَّشَآءُ) وَاَنْتَ حَآئِزٌ دَرَجَۃَ الصَّبْرِ فَآئِزٌۢ بِعَظِیْمِ الْاَجْرِ۔

He still shouted until a group responded to him, and it was you who replaced them in fighting, and it was you who aided the Prophet instead of them. They therefore returned free from reward, and hoping for repentance, as was promised by Almighty Allah. He, majestic be His mention, says, “Then will Allah, after this, turn mercifully to whom He pleases.” As for you, you were awarded the rank of steadfastness and prized the great reward.

یہاں تک کہ ایک گروہ نے ان کو لبیک کہا اس وقت آپ نے ان کے نان و نفقہ کا انتظام کیا پس وہ ثواب ِجہاد سے ناامیدی میں خدا کے قبول ِتوبہ کے وعدے کی آس میں پلٹ آئے اور یہ بلند ذکر والے خدا کا فرمان ہے کہ پھر خدا جس کی چاہے توبہ قبول فرمائے اور آپ ہی ہیں جو صبر کے اونچے درجے پر ہیں بہت بڑا اجر پانے والے ہیں۔

وَیَوْمَ خَیْبَرَ اِذْ اَظْهَرَ اللہُ خُوَرَ الْمُنَافِقِیْنَ وَقَطَعَ دَابِرَ الْكَافِرِیْنَ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ وَلَقَدْ كَانُوْا عَاهَدُوْا اللہَ مِنْ قَبْلُ لَا یُوَلُّوْنَ الْاَدْبَارَ وَكَانَ عَهْدُ اللہِ مَسْؤُلًا مَوْلَایَ اَنْتَ الْحُجَّۃُ الْبَالِغَۃُ وَالْمُحَجَّۃُ الْوَاضِحَۃُ وَالنِّعْمَۃُ السَّابِغَۃُ وَالْبُرْهَانُ الْمُنِیْرُ فَهَنِیْٓئًا لَّكَ بِمَا اٰتٰیكَ اللہُ مِنْ فَضْلٍ وَّتَبًّا لِّشَانِئِكَ ذِی الْجَهْلِ۔

On the Battle of Khaybar, when Allah exposed the cowardice of the hypocrites and cut off the roots of the atheists, so, all praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds (for that): “And, certainly, they had made a covenant with Allah before, that they would not turn their backs. And Allah’s covenant shall be inquired of.” O master, you are the conclusive argument (of Allah), the clear course, the poured grace, and the radiant evidence. So, congratulations, for the favors that Allah has given you. perdition overtake your enemies, the ignorant!

اور خیبر کے دن جب خدا نے منافقوں کی سستی ظاہر کی اور آپ کے ذریعے کافروں کی جڑیں کاٹ دیں، اور حمد ہے خدا کے لئے جو جہانوں کا رب ہے اور فرمان الہٰی ہے کہ اس سے پہلےانہوں نے خدا سے عہد کیا تھا کہ دشمنوں سے پیٹھ نہ پھیریں گے اور خدا سے کیے ہوئے عہد پر باز پُرس ہوگی اے میرے مولا آپ ہی تو کامل حجت،حق کا واضح تر راستہ خدا کی نعمت ِعامہ اور روشن تردلیل ہیں پس آپ پر اللہ کا یہ فضل مبارک بہت بہت مبارک ہو آپ کے جاہل دشمن پر ہلاکت پڑے۔

شَهِدْتَّ مَعَ النَّبِیِّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ جَمِیْعَ حُرُوْبِهٖ وَمَغَازِیْهِ تَحْمِلُ الرَّایَۃَ اَمَامَهٗ وَتَضْرِبُ بِالسَّیْفِ قُدَّامَهٗ ثُمَّ بِحَزْمِكَ الْمَشْهُوْرِ وَبَصِیْرَتِكَ فِی الْاُمُوْرِ اَمَّرَكَ فِی الْمَوَاطِنِ وَلَمْ یَكُنْ عَلَیْكَ اَمِیْرٌ وَكَمْ مِنْ اَمْرٍ صَدَّكَ عَنْ اِمْضَآءِ عَزْمِكَ فِیْهِ التُّقٰی وَاتَّبَعَ غَیْرُكَ فِیْ مِثْلِهِ الْهَوٰی۔

You presented yourself with the Prophet, peace be upon him and his Household during all battles and expeditions that he led; you always carried the pennon with him and stroke (the enemies) with your sword before him. Then, due to your prominent determination and your sagacity in all affairs, he (ie. the Prophet) appointed you as the commander on all occasions, and you were never under the commandment of another. On many occasions, your piety prevented you from doing what you had decided about a matter, while your rival followed his (personal) lust and committed that matter.

آپ حضرت رسولؐ کے ہمراہ سبھی جنگوں میں حاضر اور شامل ہوئے ان کے حضور علمبردارِ لشکر رہے اور ان پر حملہ کرنے والوں پر تلوار چلاتے رہے پھر آپ کی انتہائی احتیاط اور آپ کی معاملہ فہمی کے پیش ِنظر وہ آپ کو امیر بناتے تھے کسی کو آپ پر امیر نہیں بنایا کتنے ہی ایسے امور ہیں جن میں تقویٰ آپ کے لئے رکاوٹ بن گیا جب کہ آپ کے غیر نے ان میں خواہش کی پیروی کی۔

فَظَنَّ الْجَاهِلُوْنَ اَنَّكَ عَجَزْتَ عَمَّا اِلَیْهِ انْتَهٰی ضَلَّ وَاللہِ الظَّآنُّ لِذٰلِكَ وَمَا اهْتَدٰی وَلَقَدْ اَوْضَحْتَ مَآ اَشْكَلَ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ لِمَنْ تَوَهَّمَ وَامْتَرٰی بِقَوْلِكَ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْكَ ’’قَدْ یَرَی الْحُوَّلُ الْقُلَّبُ وَجْهَ الْحِیْلَۃِ وَدُوْنَهَا حَاجِزٌ مِّنْ تَقْوَی اللہِ فَیَدْعُهَا رَاْیَ الْعَیْنِ وَیَنْتَهِزُ فُرْصَتَهَا مَنْ لَّا حَرِیْجَۃَ لَهٗ فِی الدِّیْنِ‘‘۔

Thus, the ignorant ones thought that you were incapable of doing that which had been done by your rival! I swear by Allah that anyone who thought so had missed the right thing and had never found the true guidance. However, you clarified the misunderstanding in which those who fancied and doubted fell by your saying, may Allah’s peace be upon you: “One who has been through thick and thin of life finds the excuses to be preventing him from orders and prohibitions of Allah, but he disregards them despite capability (to succumb to them and instead follows the commands of Allah), while one who has no restraints of religion seizes the opportunity (and accepts the excuses for not following the commands of Allah).”

پس جاہلوں نے خیال کیا آپ ان امور میں قاصر و عاجز ہیں قسم بخدا! یہ خیال کرنے والا گمراہ ہوا اور راہ نہ پاسکا اور آپ نے ایسا وہم کرنے والے کی مشکل آسان کر دی جو آپ کے قول پر شک کرتا تھا خدا کی رحمت ہو آپ پر کبھی امور کو انجام دینے والا ان کے لئے عجیب سا طریقہ دیکھتا ہے جس میں تقویٰ رکاوٹ بن جاتا ہے لیکن اس کی پروا نہیں کرتا جو چاہے کر گزرتا ہے اور اپنے دین کی کچھ فکر نہیں کرتا۔

صَدَقْتَ وَاللهِ وَخَسِرَ الْمُبْطِلُوْنَ وَاِذْ مَاكَرَكَ النَّاكِثَانِ فَقَالَا نُرِیْدُ الْعُمْرَۃَ فَقُلْتَ لَهُمَا ’’لَعَمْرُكُمَا مَا تُرِیْدَانِ الْعُمْرَۃَ لٰكِنْ تُرِیْدَانِ الْغَدْرَۃَ‘‘ فَاَخَذْتَ الْبَیْعَۃَ عَلَیْهِمَا وَجَدَّدْتَ الْمِیْثَاقَ فَجَدَّا فِی النِّفَاقِ فَلَمَّا نَبَّهْتَهُمَا عَلٰی فِعْلِهِمَا اَغْفَلَا وَعَادَا وَمَا انْتَفَعَا وَكَانَ عَاقِبَۃُ اَمْرِهِمَا خُسْرًا۔

You have said the very truth; I swear it by Allah, and the followers of vanity are indeed losers. And when the two preachers (of their allegiance) tried to deceive you; and said, “We want to go on umrah!” You thus answered them, “I swear by your lives; you do not want to go on `umrah; rather, you want to betray me!” Hence, you made covenant with them again and you renewed their allegiance to you; but they exerted all efforts to act hypocritically. And when you drew their attentions to this act, they neglected, redid it again, and did not follow your advice. Thus, their end result was loss.

آپ سچے اور اہل ِباطل گھاٹے میں ہیں جب بیعت توڑنے والے دو شخصوں نے مکر کیا اور آپ سے کہا ہم عمرہ کرنا چاہتے ہیں تو آپ نے ان سے کہا تمہاری زندگی کی قسم تم عمرہ کرنے کا ارادہ نہیں رکھتے لیکن یہ کہ تم دھوکہ دینا چاہتے ہو پس آپ نے بارِ دیگر ان سے بیعت لے لی اور پھر سے عہد و پیمان باندھا مگر وہ دونوں نفاق کر رہے تھے جب آپ نے ان کو اس فعل سے خبردار کیا تو بے پروا ہو کر چلے گئے اور کچھ فائدہ نہ پا سکے اور انجام ِکار وہ خسارے سے دوچار ہوئے۔

ثُمَّ تَلَاهُمَا اَهْلُ الشَّامِ فَسِرْتَ اِلَیْهِمْ بَعْدَ الْاِعْذَارِ وَهُمْ لَا یَدِیْنُوْنَ دِیْنَ الْحَقِّ وَلَا یَتَدَبَّرُوْنَ الْقُرْاٰنَ هَمَجٌ رَعَاعٌ ضَآلُّوْنَ وَبِالَّذِیْٓ اُنْزِلَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ فِیْكَ كَافِرُوْنَ وَلِاَهْلِ الْخِلَافِ عَلَیْكَ نَاصِرُوْنَ وَقَدْ اَمَرَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی بِاتِّبَاعِكَ وَنَدَبَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ اِلٰی نَصْرِكَ وَقَالَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ(یَآ اَیُّهَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا اتَّقُوا اللہَ وَكُوْنُوْا مَعَ الصَّادِقِیْنَ)۔

After them, the people of Syria (mutinied)! So, you went to fight them after you had provided all excuses, while they did not follow the true religion neither did they understand the Qur’an. They were rabble, rot, and deviants, and they were unbelievers in what was revealed to Muhammad about your leadership, and they were supporters of those who antagonized you. While, Almighty Allah ordered everyone to follow you and instructed the believers to support you. He, the Almighty and All-majestic, has said in this respect: “O you who believe! Be careful of your duty to Allah, and be with the truthful.”

پھر شام والوں نے بھی انہی کی پیروی کی تو ان کا عذر و بہانہ سن کر آپ ان کی طرف روانہ ہوئے کیوں کہ ان کا دین و حق سے کوئی تعلق نہ تھا اور نہ ہی قرآن کی تعلیم پر توجہ دیتے تھے اور ہر آواز کے پیچھے چلنے والے گمراہ تھے آپ کے بارے میں پیغمبر اکرمؐ پر جو آیات آئیں ان کا انکار کرتے تھے اور آپ کے دشمنوں کی مدد و نصرت کرنے والے تھے جب کہ خدا نے آپ کی پیروی کا حکم دیا اور مؤمنوں کو آپ کی نصرت کی دعوت دی تھی اور خدائے عز وجل نے فرمایا کہ اے وہ لوگو! جو ایمان لائے ہو خدا سے ڈرو اور حق سچ والوں کے ساتھ ہو جاؤ۔

مَوْلَایَ بِكَ ظَهَرَ الْحَقُّ وَقَدْ نَبَذَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَاَوْضَحْتَ السُّنَنَ بَعْدَ الدُّرُوْسِ وَالطَّمْسِ فَلَكَ سَابِقَۃُ الْجِهَادِ عَلٰی تَصْدِیْقِ التَّنْزِیْلِ وَلَكَ فَضِیْلَۃُ الْجِهَادِ عَلٰی تَحْقِیْقِ التَّاْوِیْلِ وَعَدُوُّكَ عَدُوُّ اللہِ جَاحِدٌ لِّرَسُوْلِ اللہِ یَدْعُوْ بَاطِلًا وَیَحْكُمُ جَآئِرًا وَیَتَاَمَّرُ غَاصِبًا وَیَدْعُوْ حِزْبَهٗ اِلَی النَّارِ۔

O master, through you did the right manifest itself, but the people discarded it. And you made clear the (Prophetic) traditions after they had been eradicated and confused. Hence, you enjoy the priority of struggling for the sake of confirming the Divine Revelation, and you enjoy the virtue of struggling for the sake of confirming the true interpretation (of the Divine Revelation). Your enemy is in fact the enemy of Allah and the denier of Allah’s Messenger. Your enemy thus calls for vanity, judges unfairly, usurps the position of rule, and drives his fans to Hellfire.

میرے مولاؑ آپ کے ذریعے حق آشکار ہوا جب کہ لوگ اسے چھوڑ چکے تھے آپ نے پیغمبر کی سنتوں کو ظاہر کیا جب وہ بھلائی مٹائی جا چکیں تھیں پس تبلیغ ِقرآن کے لئے جہاد میں آپ کو سبقت حاصل ہے اور قرآن کی تاویل و تعین مفہوم کے لئے جہاد کی فضیلت بھی آپ ہی کے لئے ہے آپ کا دشمن خدا کا دشمن خدا کے رسولؐ کا انکار کرنے والا باطل کی طرف بلانے والا ظالمانہ فیصلہ کرنے والا زبردستی حکومت لینے والا اور اپنے گروہ کو جہنم کی طرف بلانے والا۔

وَعَمَّارٌ یُّجَاهِدُ وَیُنَادِیْ بَیْنَ الصَّفَّیْنِ الرَّوَاحَ الرَّوَاحَ اِلَی الْجَنَّۃِ وَلَمَّا اسْتَسْقٰی فَسُقِیَ اللَّبَنُ كَبَّرَ وَقَالَ قَالَ لِیْ رَسُوْلُ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ اٰخِرُ شَرَابِكَ مِنَ الدُّنْیَا ضَیَاحٌ مِنْ لَبَنٍ وَتَقْتُلُكَ الْفِئَۃُ الْبَاغِیَۃُ فَاعْتَرَضَهٗٓ اَبُو الْعَادِیَۃِ الْفَزَارِیُّ فَقَتَلَهٗ فَعَلٰی اَبِیْ الْعَادِیَۃِ لَعْنَۃُ اللہِ وَلَعْنَۃُ مَلَآئِكَتِهٖ وَرُسُلِهٖ اَجْمَعِیْنَ وَعَلٰی مَنْ سَلَّ سَیْفَهٗ عَلَیْكَ وَسَلَلْتَ سَیْفَكَ عَلَیْهِ۔

While Ammar (ibn Yasir) strove and called at the two parties (of the battle): “How eager I am to join Paradise!” When he then asked for a drink, he was served with a drink of milk; he thus shouted, glorifying Allah, and said: “The Messenger of Allah, peace of Allah be upon him and his Household, did say to me: ‘The last drink that you will have in this world is a cup of milk, and the transgressing party will kill you.’” Thus, Abul Aadiyah al-Fazaari faced and killed him. The curse of Allah and the curse of all His angels and Messengers be upon this Abul Aadiyah, upon anyone who unsheathed a sword against you, and upon any one against whom you unsheathed your sword.

لیکن عمار جہاد کرتے اور آواز دے رہے تھے دو لشکروں کے درمیان کہ چلو چلو جنت کی طرف چلواور جب انہوں نے پانی مانگا تو انہیں دودھ پلایا گیا تب تکبیر بلند کی اور کہا حضرت رسولؐ نے مجھ سے فرمایا تھا کہ دنیا میں تمہاری آخری خوراک دودھ کا پیالہ ہے اور تمہیں ایک باغی گروہ قتل کرے گا پس ابو العادیہ فزاری آپ کے مقابل آیا اوراس نے آپ کو شہید کردیا پس ابو العادیہ پر خدا کی اس کے فرشتوں کی اور اس کے رسولوں کی لعنت برستی رہے اس پرجس نے آپ پر تلوار کھینچی اور اس پر بھی جس پر آپ نے تلوار کھینچی اے مؤمنوں کے امیرؑ۔

یَا اَمِیْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِیْنَ وَالْمُنَافِقِیْنَ اِلٰی یَوْمِ الدِّیْنِ وَعَلٰی مَنْ رَضِیَ بِمَا سَائَكَ وَلَمْ یَكْرَهْهُ وَاَغْمَضَ عَیْنَهٗ وَلَمْ یُنْكِرْ اَوْ اَعَانَ عَلَیْكَ بِیَدٍ اَوْ لِسَانٍ اَوْ قَعَدَ عَنْ نَّصْرِكَ اَوْ خَذَلَ عَنِ الْجِهَادِ مَعَكَ اَوْ غَمَطَ فَضْلَكَ وَجَحَدَ حَقَّكَ اَوْ عَدَلَ بِكَ مَنْ جَعَلَكَ اللہُ اَوْلٰی بِهٖ مِنْ نَفْسِهٖ وَصَلَوَاتُ اللہِ عَلَیْكَ وَرَحْمَۃُ اللہِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهٗ وَسَلَامُهٗ وَ تَحِیَّاتُهٗ وَعَلَی الْاَئِمَّۃِ مِنْ اٰلِكَ الطَّاهِرِیْنَ اِنَّهٗ حَمِیْدٌ مَّجِیْدٌ۔

O Commander of the Faithful (Curse be upon) the polytheists and the hypocrites up to the Religion Day. Curse be also upon any one whom is pleased by whatever upsets you, and curse be upon any one who is not passive for whatever upsets you and upon any one who bypasses and does not deny, and upon any one who supports your rivals by deeds or words, and upon any one who fails to support you, and upon any one who slackens to fight with you, and upon any one who despises your merits, and upon any one who denies your right, and upon any one who leaves you and joins one upon whom Almighty Allah has given you priority.

جو کہ مشرکوں میں سے اورمنافقوں میں سے ہیں روزِ قیامت تک لعنت ہو اور اس پر لعنت ہو جو آپ کو تکلیف پہنچانے پر راضی ہوا اور ناخوش نہ ہوا آنکھیں بند کر لیں اور نفرت نہیں کی یا آپ کے خلاف ہاتھ یا زبان سے معاون ومددگار بنا آپ کی نصرت سے دست بردار یا جہاد میں آپ کو چھوڑ کر چلا گیا یا آپ کی فضیلت کو چھپایا اور آپ کے حق کا منکر ہوا یااسے آپ کے برابرلایا کہ جس پر خدا نے آپ کو اس کے اپنے آپ سے زیادہ اختیار دیا۔

وَالْاَمْرُ الْاَعْجَبُ وَالْخَطْبُ الْاَفْظَعُ بَعْدَ جَحْدِكَ حَقَّكَ غَصْبُ الصِّدِّیْقَۃِ الطَّاهِرَۃِ الزَّهْرَآءِ سَیِّدَۃِ النِّسَآءِ فَدَكًا وَرَدُّ شَهَادَتِكَ وَشَهَادَۃِ السَّیِّدَیْنِ سُلَالَتِكَ وَعِتْرَۃِ الْمُصْطَفٰی صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْكُمْ وَقَدْ اَعْلَی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَی الْاُمَّۃِ دَرَجَتَكُمْ وَرَفَعَ مَنْزِلَتَكُمْ وَاَبَانَ فَضْلَكُمْ وَشَرَّفَكُمْ عَلَی الْعَالَمِیْنَ فَاَذْهَبَ عَنْكُمُ الرِّجْسَ وَطَهَّرَكُمْ تَطْهِیْرًا۔

Allah’s peace, mercy, and blessings, compliments, and greetings be upon you and upon the Imams from your Immaculate Household. Verily, Allah is Praised and Glorious. What is more astounding and more horrible than usurping your right is the usurpation of Fadak from the veracious, pure, and luminous Lady, the leader of the women of the world! As well as the rejection of your testimony and the testimonies of the two masters, your descendants, and the Household of the Chosen Prophet, may Allah’s peace be upon you all. Whereas Almighty Allah has elevated you in rank over the nation, raised your positions, and demonstrated your preference and honorable favorability over all the created beings. He thus removed away filth from you and purified you with the most thorough purification.

اور درود ہو خدا کاآپ پر خدا کی رحمت ہو اور اس کی برکتیں ہوں اس کا سلام اور اس کی عنایت ہو اور آپ کی پاکیزہ اولاد میں سے ہونے والے ائمہؑ پر بھی، بے شک وہ حمد والا شان والا ہے اور آپ کے حق کاانکار کیے جانے کے بعد سب سے عجیب اور بڑی مصیبت یہ ہے کہ صدیقہ ٔطاہرہ زہراء کا حق غصب کیا گیا اور فدک چھین لیا گیا اور آپ کی اور آپ کی اولاد میں سے دو،سرداروں کی شہادتیں رد کی گئیں جو عترت ِپیغمبر ؐمیں سے ہیں خدا کی رحمت آپ سب پر کیوں کہ خدا نے آپ کو امت پربلندئی درجات دی آپ کی شان بلند کی آپ کی فضیلت ظاہر فرمائی اور آپ کو سب جہانوں پر بڑائی دی پس آپ سب سے ہر برائی کو دور رکھا اور آپ کو پاک رکھا جس طرح پاک رکھنے کا حق ہے۔

قَالَ اللہُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ (اِنَّ الْاِنْسَانَ خُلِقَ هَلُوْعًا اِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ جَزُوْعًا وَاِذَا مَسَّهُ الْخَیْرُ مَنُوْعًا اِلَّا الْمُصَلِّیْنَ) فَاسْتَثْنَی اللہُ تَعَالٰی نَبِیَّهُ الْمُصْطَفٰی وَاَنْتَ یَا سَیِّدَ الْاَوْصِیَآءِ مِنْ جَمِیْعِ الْخَلْقِ فَمَا اَعْمَهَ مَنْ ظَلَمَكَ عَنِ الْحَقِّ ثُمَّ اَفْرَضُوْكَ سَهْمَ ذَوِی الْقُرْبٰی مَكْرًا وَّاَحَادُوْهُ عَنْ اَهْلِهٖ جَوْرًا۔

Allah the Almighty and All-majestic says: “Indeed, man is created of a hasty temperament. Being greatly grieved when evil afflicts him and niggardly when good befalls him, except those who pray.” Hence, Almighty Allah has excluded His Chosen Prophet you, the chief of the Prophets’ successors, from among all His beings. How deviant from the right he who has wronged you is! They then deceptively decided the share of ‘Near of Kin’ to be for you, after they wrongly deprived its meritorious people of it.

خدائے عز و جل نے فرمایا: انسان کو بے صبر پیدا کیا گیا کہ جب اسے تکلیف پہنچے تو گھبرا جاتا ہے اور جب بھلائی ملے تو روک لیتا ہے سوائے نماز گزاروں کے پس خدا نے اپنے نبی محمدؐ مصطفی ٰکو اور اے اوصیاء کے سردار آپ کو ساری مخلوق سے الگ قراردیا پس کس قدر اندھا ہے وہ جو آپ کے حق کو نہیں پہچانتا پھر یہ کہ ان لوگوں نے مکر کے ساتھ نبی ؐکے قرابت داروں کا حق تسلیم کیا اور ظلم کے ساتھ ان حق داروں کو محروم کیا۔

فَلَمَّا اٰلَ الْاَمْرُ اِلَیْكَ اَجْرَیْتَهُمْ عَلٰی مَا اَجْرَیَا عَلَیْہِ رَغْبَۃً عَنْهُمَا بِمَا عِنْدَ اللہِ لَكَ فَاَشْبَهَتْ مِحْنَتُكَ بِهِمَا مِحَنَ الْاَنْبِیَآءِ عَلَیْهِمُ السَّلَامُ عِنْدَ الْوَحْدَۃِ وَعَدَمِ الْاَنْصَارِ وَاَشْبَهْتَ فِی الْبَیَاتِ عَلَی الْفِرَاشِ الذَّبِیْحَ عَلَیْهِ السَّلَامُ اِذْ اَجَبْتَ كَمَا اَجَابَ وَاَطَعْتَ كَمَا اَطَاعَ اِسْمٰعِیْلُ صَابِرًا مُحْتَسِبًا۔

When the matter (of rule) was returned to you, you continued carrying out what they had decided, because you desired for what is stored by Allah for you. Your ordeals are thus similar to the ordeals encountered by the Prophets, peace be upon them, who also faced loneliness and absence of supporters. As you replaced the Prophet by spending that night on his bed instead of him, this situation was similar to the situation of the self-sacrificing Prophet, peace be upon him. Because you responded (to the Prophet’s order) in the same way as he (ie. Prophet Ismail) responded (to his father’s request), and you obeyed the Prophet in the same way as (Prophet) Ismail obeyed with steadfastness and reliance upon Allah.

پھر جب معاملہ آپ کے ہاتھ میں آیا تو آپ نے ان امور کو جوں کا توں رہنے دیا یا اس ثواب کی خاطر جو خدا کے ہاں آپ کے لئے ہے پس ان دو باتوں میں آپ کی مظلومی انبیاء ؑ کی مظلومی جیسی ہے یعنی آپ کی تنہائی اور مددگاروں سے محرومی آپ کا شب ِہجرت بستر ِرسولؐ پر سونا مشابہ ہے ذبیحؑ کی قربانی کےجب آپ نے سونا قبول کیا اور حکم کی اطاعت کی جیسا کہ اسماعیل ؑنے خوش دلی اور صبر سے اطاعت کی۔

اِذْ قَالَ لَهٗ (یَا بُنَیَّ اِنِّیْٓ اَرٰی فِی الْمَنَامِ اَنِّیْ اَذْبَحُكَ فَانْظُرْ مَاذَا تَرٰی قَالَ یَا اَبَتِ افْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ سَتَجِدُنِیْ اِنْشَآءَ اللہُ مِنَ الصَّابِرِیْنَ) وَكَذَالِكَ اَنْتَ لَمَّا اَبَاتَكَ النَّبِیُّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَاَمَرَكَ اَنْ تَضْجَعَ فِیْ مَرْقَدِهٖ وَاقِیًا لَهٗ بِنَفْسِكَ اَسْرَعْتَ اِلٰی اِجَابَتِهٖ مُطِیْعًا وَلِنَفْسِكَ عَلَی الْقَتْلِ مُوَطِّنًا فَشَكَرَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی طَاعَتَكَ وَاَبَانَ عَنْ جَمِیْلِ فِعْلِكَ بِقَوْلِهٖ جَلَّ ذِكْرُهٗ (وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ یَّشْرِیْ نَفْسَهُ ابْتِغَآءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللہِ) ۔

Hence, when his father said to him, ‘O my son! Surely, I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice you; consider then what you see.’ He said, ‘O my father! Do what you are commanded; if Allah please, you will find me of the patient ones.’ The same situation with you, when the Prophet, peace be upon him and his Household, chose you to replace him, and ordered you to sleep in his bed instead of him so that you should protect him by sacrificing yourself for him, you quickly responded to his request with obedience, by exposing yourself to killing fearlessly. So, Allah the All-exalted appreciated this obedience to him and He, majestic be His mention, declared your excellent deed by saying: “And among men is he who sells himself to seek the pleasure of Allah.”

جب باپ نے ان سے کہا: اےمیرے بیٹے بے شک میں نے خواب میں دیکھا کہ میں تجھے ذبح کر رہا ہوں پس دیکھو تمہاری کیارائے ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: اے بابا! جو حکم ملا اس کی تعمیل کریں خدا نے چاہا تو آپ مجھے صابر ہی پائیں گے اور اسی طرح جب نبی ؐنے آپ کواپنے بستر پر سلایا اور حکم دیا کہ آپ ان کے بستر پر سو جائیں اور اپنی جان کی قربانی سے آنحضرتؐ کی جان بچائیں تو آپ فورا ًاطاعت کرتے ہوئے اس پر آمادہ ہوگئے اور اپنے آپ کو قتل ہونےکے لئے پیش کر دیا پس خدا نے آپ کی اس فرماں برداری کی قدر فرمائی اور آپ کے کارنامے کو ظاہر کیا اپنے اس واضح قول کے ذریعے کہ لوگوں میں کچھ ایسے ہیں جو خدا کی رضا حاصل کرنےکے لئے اپنی جانیں بیچ دیتے ہیں۔

ثُمَّ مِحْنَتُكَ یَوْمَ صِفِّیْنَ وَقَدْ رُفِعَتِ الْمَصَاحِفُ حِیْلَۃً وَمَكْرًا فَاَعْرَضَ الشَّكُّ وَعُزِفَ الْحَقُّ وَاتُّبِعَ الظَّنُّ اَشْبَهَتْ مِحْنَۃَ هَارُوْنَ اِذْ اَمَّرَهٗ مُوْسٰی عَلٰی قَوْمِهٖ فَتَفَرَّقُوْا عَنْهُ وَ هَارُوْنُ یُنَادِیْ بِهِمْ وَیَقُوْلُ (یَا قَوْمِ اِنَّمَا فُتِنْتُمْ بِهٖ وَاِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ الرَّحْمٰنُ فَاتَّبِعُوْنِیْ وَاَطِیْعُوْٓا اَمْرِیْ قَالُوْا لَنْ نَبْرَحَ عَلَیْهِ عَاكِفِیْنَ حَتّٰی یَرْجِعَ اِلَیْنَا مُوْسٰی) ۔

Then, your ordeal on the Battle of Siffin, when books of the Qur’an were raised (on spearheads) out of trickery and deception, causing doubt to be aroused, the truth to be neglected, and conjecture to be followed, this ordeal was similar to the ordeal of (Prophet) Aaron when (Prophet) Moses appointed him as the leader of his people, but they left him alone. while (Prophet) Aaron was calling at them, saying: ‘O my people! You are only tried by it, and surely your Lord is the Beneficent Allah. Therefore, follow me and obey my order.’ They said, ‘We will by no means cease to keep to its worship until Moses returns to us.’

پھر جنگِ صفین میں آپ کی سخت مصیبت کہ جب انہوں نے فریب کاری کے ساتھ قرآن نیزوں پر بلند کر دیئے تو لوگ شک و شبہ میں پڑ گئے حق کو چھوڑ دیا گیا اور شک پر عمل ہونے لگا آپ کی یہ مصیبت ہارون ؑ کی مشکل جیسی تھی جب کہ موسیٰؑ نے ان کو اپنی قوم پر امیر مقرر کیا تولوگ انہیں چھوڑ گئے تب ہارون ؑانہیں آوازیں دیتے اور کہتے تھے : اے قوم والو!یقینًا تم بچھڑے کے ذریعے آزمائے گئے ہو بے شک رحمان ہی تمہارا رب ہے پس تم میری پیروی کرو اور میرا حکم مانو انہوں نے کہا: ہم تواس کے ارد گرد عبادت کرتے رہیں گے جب تک موسیٰؑ ہمارے پاس واپس نہیں آتے۔

وَكَذٰلِكَ اَنْتَ لَمَّا رُفِعَتِ الْمَصَاحِفُ قُلْتَ یَا قَوْمِ اِنَّمَا فُتِنْتُمْ بِهَا وَخُدِعْتُمْ فَعَصَوْكَ وَخَالَفُوْا عَلَیْكَ وَاسْتَدْعَوْا نَصْبَ الْحَكَمَیْنِ فَاَبَیْتَ عَلَیْهِمْ وَتَبَرَّاْتَ اِلَی اللہِ مِنْ فِعْلِهِمْ وَفَوَّضْتَهٗ اِلَیْهِمْ فَلَمَّآ اَسْفَرَ الْحَقُّ وَسَفِهَ الْمُنْكَرُ وَاعْتَرَفُوْا بِالزَّلَلِ وَالْجَوْرِ عَنِ الْقَصْدِ اخْتَلَفُوْا مِنْ بَعْدِهٖ وَاَلْزَمُوْكَ عَلٰی سَفَهِ التَّحْكِیْمِ الَّذِیْٓ اَبَیْتَهٗ وَاَحَبُّوْهُ وَخَطَرْتَهٗ وَاَبَاحُوْا ذَنْبَهُمُ الَّذِی اقْتَرَفُوْهُ۔

Similarly, when the books of the Qur’an were raised (on spearheads), you said: ‘O my people, you are only tried by this and you have been surely cheated.’ Nevertheless, they disobeyed you and did the opposite. And when they demanded with nominating two arbitrators (one from each party), you rejected and declared your disavowal of this act before Allah, and then asked them to do whatever they wanted. Thus, when the truth manifested itself the wrong was proven as futile, and they confessed of their flaw and deviation from the right thing, they also mutinied after that and obliged you to commit to the nonsensical result of the arbitration that you had rejected and they had accepted, and you had forbidden it, and they then confessed of the sin that they had committed.

اسی طرح جب قرآن نیزوں پر بلند کیےگئے تو آپ بھی ان لوگوں سے فرما رہے تھے کہ اے لوگو یقینًا اس میں تم آزمائے گئے ہو اور فریب دیے گئے ہو پس انہوں نےنافرمانی کی اور آپ کے خلاف ہوگئے اور آپ کو حکمین کے تقرّرکی خواہش کی تو آ پ نے اس سے انکار کیا ان کے اس فعل سےخدا کی جانب برأت ظاہر کی اور معاملہ ان پر چھوڑ دیا پھر جب حق ظاہر ہوا منکروں کی بے وقوفی ظاہرہوئی اور انہوں نے لغزش کااعتراف کیا اور نافرمانی کی اور بعد میں اپنی اس بات سے پھر گئے اور اس پنچایت (تحکیم)کی غلطی کو آپ کے ذمے لگانے لگے کہ جس کاآپ نے انکار کیا اور انہوں نے اس میں رغبت کی آپ نے منع کیا اورانہوں نے جو گناہ کیا تھا اس کو درست سمجھنے لگے۔

وَاَنْتَ عَلٰی نَهْجِ بَصِیْرَۃٍ وَهُدًی وَّهُمْ عَلٰی سُنَنِ ضَلَالَۃٍ وَّعَمًی فَمَا زَالُوْا عَلَی النِّفَاقِ مُصَرِّیْنَ وَفِی الْغَیِّ مُتَرَدِّدِیْنَ حَتّٰی اَذَاقَهُمُ اللہُ وَبَالَ اَمْرِهِمْ فَاَمَاتَ بِسَیْفِكَ مَنْ عَانَدَكَ فَشَقِیَ وَهَوٰی وَاَحْیَیٰ بِحُجَّتِكَ مَنْ سَعَدَ فَهُدِیَ صَلَوَاتُ اللہِ عَلَیْكَ غَادِیَۃً وَّرَائِحَۃً وَّعَاكِفَۃً وَّذَهِبَۃً۔

While you were following the course of sagacity and true guidance, they were following the courses of deviation and blindness. Nonetheless, they insisted on hypocrisy and involved themselves in seduction until Allah made them taste the evil result of their conduct. He thus deadened, through your sword, those who mutinied against you, causing them eternal misery and perdition, and He gave life, through your acting as His argument, to those whom He decided as happy; therefore, they were guided (to the true choice). Allah’s blessings be upon you, coming and going, and still and moving.

آپ عقل وہدایت کی راہ پر تھے اور وہ لوگ گمراہی اور اندھے پن کے طریقے اختیار کیے ہوئے تھے پس انہوں نے نفاق کا دامن پکڑا اپنی گمراہی پر اصرار کرتے رہے جب کہ گمراہی میں پڑے رہے یہاں تک کہ خدا نے انہیں ان کے کیے کا مزہ چکھایا آپ کے مخالفوں کو آپ کی تلوار سے قتل کرایا اور وہ بد بختی کے ساتھ تباہ ہوئے اور جنہوں نے آپ کو حجت مانا وہ خوش بخت اور خدا کی ہدایت حاصل کرتے زندہ ہوئے رحمت ہو آپ پر ہر صبح وشام خواہ آپ کسی جگہ ٹھہرے ہوں چل رہے ہوں۔

فَمَا یُحِیْطُ الْمَادِحُ وَصْفَكَ وَلَا یُحْبِطُ الطَّاعِنُ فَضْلَكَ اَنْتَ اَحْسَنُ الْخَلْقِ عِبَادَۃً وَّاَخْلَصُهُمْ زَهَادَۃً وَاَذَّبُهُمْ عَنِ الدِّیْنِ اَقَمْتَ حُدُوْدَ اللہِ بِجُهْدِكَ وَفَلَلْتَ عَسَاكِرَ الْمَارِقِیْنَ بِسَیْفِكَ تُخْمِدُ لَهَبَ الْحُرُوْبِ بِبَنَانِكَ وَتَهْتِكُ سُتُوْرَ الشُّبَهِ بِبَیَانِكَ وَتَكْشِفُ لَبْسَ الْبَاطِلِ عَنْ صَرِیْحِ الْحَقِّ۔

Certainly, no one praising you can ever cover your actual characteristics and no one criticizing you can ever belittle your merits. You are verily the best worshipper of all created beings, the most sincere in asceticism, and the most enthusiastic defender of the religion. You executed the laws of Allah with exceptional efforts and damaged the armies of the apostates with your sword. You can extinguish the flames of battles with your finger, tear out the curtains of seditions with your eloquent language, and distinguish the confusing wrong from the plain right.

کیوں کہ مدح کرنے والا آپ کےاوصاف گن نہیں سکتا اورطعنہ دینے والا آپ کی فضیلت کو چھپا نہیں سکتا آپ عبادت میں ساری مخلوق سے بہتر زہد میں سب سےخالص ہیں اور دین کی حفاظت میں سب سے آگے ہیں آپ نے حدودِ الہٰی کے قیام میں بڑی کوشش کی آپ نے اپنی تلوار سےبے دین ہونے والوں کے لشکر ناکارہ بنادئیے آپ نے انگلی کے اشارے سے جنگ کے شعلے ٹھنڈے کردیئے اپنے بیان سےشک کے پردوں کو چاک کر ڈالا اور آپ نے حق کے چہرے سے باطل کے حجاب نوچ لئے۔

لَا تَاْخُذُكَ فِی اللہِ لَوْمَۃُ لْآئِمٍ وَّفِیْ مَدْحِ اللہِ تَعَالٰی لَكَ غِنًی عَنْ مَدْحِ الْمَادِحِیْنَ وَتَقْرِیْظِ الْوَاصِفِیْنَ قَالَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی (مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوْا مَا عَاهَدُوْا اللہَ عَلَیْهِ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ قَضٰی نَحْبَهٗ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ یَّنْتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوْا تَبْدِیْلًا) ۔

You are never influenced by any censure as long as you work for the sake of Allah. The praising of Allah the All-exalted to you suffices from the praising of any other one and from the approval of the depicters. Almighty Allah says: “Of the believers are men who are true to the covenant which they made with Allah. So, of them is he who accomplished his vow, of them is he who yet waits, and they have not changed in the least.”

کیوں کہ خدا کے معاملے میں آپ کو ملامت کرنے والے کی ملامت کی پروا نہیں اور جب خدا ہی آپ کی تعریف کر رہا ہے تو مدح کرنے والوں کی مدح اور تعریف کرنےوالوں کی تعریف کا کیا ہے خدائے تعالیٰ کا فرمان ہے کہ مومنوں میں ایسے مرد بھی ہیں جنہوں نے خدا سے کیا ہوا عہد سچ کردکھایا پس ان میں سے کچھ دنیا سے چلے گئے اور ان میں سے بعض انتظار میں ہیں اور ان میں کوئی تبدیلی نہیں آئی۔

وَلَمَّا رَاَیْتَ اَنْ قَتَلْتَ النَّاكِثِیْنَ وَالْقَاسِطِیْنَ وَالْمَارِقِیْنَ وَصَدَّقَكَ رَسُوْلُ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَعْدَهٗ فَاَوْفَیْتَ بِعَهْدِهٖ قُلْتَ ’’اَمَا اٰنَ اَنْ تُخْضَبَ هٰذِهٖ مِنْ هٰذِهٖ اَمْ مَتٰی یُبْعَثُ اَشْقَاهَا‘‘ وَاثِقًۢا بِاَنَّكَ عَلٰی بَیِّنَۃٍ مِّنْ رَّبِّكَ وَبَصِیْرَۃٍ مِّنْ اَمْرِكَ قَادِمٌ عَلَی اللہِ مُسْتَبْشِرٌۢ بِبَیْعِكَ الَّذِیْ بَایَعْتَهٗ بِهٖ وَذٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِیْمُ۔

After you felt that you had killed the preachers, the wrongdoers, and the apostates, the predictions of Allah’s Messenger, peace be upon him and his Household, came true, and you had fulfilled your promise to him, you then said: “Has time not come yet so that this (beard) shall be dyed with the blood of this (head)? When will the most unfortunate of them be sent (to slay me)?” You were always confident that you were proceeding on clear proof from your Lord, you were acting with sure knowledge of what you do, you were on your way to Allah, and you were rejoicing in the bargain that you had made with Him; and that is the supreme triumph.

اور جب آپ نے دیکھاکہ عہد توڑنے والے تفرقہ ڈالنے والے اور بے دین آپ سے لڑتے ہیں اور حضرت رسول اﷲؐ کا آپ کو دیا ہوا وعدہ سچ نکلاتو آپ نے وہ عہد پورا کردیا تب آپ نے کہا کہ کیاوہ وقت نہیں آیا ہے کہ پیشانی کے خون سے داڑھی پر خضاب ہو تو وہ بد بخت کب اٹھے گا یہ اس لئے کہ اپنے رب کی واضح دلیل کا آپ کو یقین اور اپنے معاملے میں کامل بصیرت حاصل تھی آپ بارگاہ الہٰی میں جان کی تجارت پر خوش ہوکر گئے جو تجارت اس ذات ِخداسے کی تھی اور یہی وہ بڑی کامیابی ہے۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ الْعَنْ قَتَلَۃَ اَنْۢبِیَآئِكَ وَاَوْصِیَآءِ اَنْۢبِیَآئِكَ بِجَمِیْعِ لَعَنَاتِكَ وَاَصْلِهِمْ حَرَّ نَارِكَ وَالْعَنْ مَنْ غَصَبَ وَلِیَّكَ حَقَّهٗ وَاَنْكَرَ عَهْدَهٗ وَجَحَدَهٗ بَعْدَ الْیَقِیْنِ وَالْاِقْرَارِ بِالْوِلَایَۃِ لَهٗ یَوْمَ اَكْمَلْتَ لَهُ الدِّیْنَ۔

O Allah, curse the murderers of your Prophets and the murderers of Your Prophets’ successors with the variant curses (that You have prepared for them), and make those slayers to taste the heat of Your fire. And also curse those who usurped the right of Your friend, those who denied their allegiance to him, and those who rejected him after they had witnessed and declared their loyalty to him on the day when you completed your religion through him.

اے اللہ! لعنت کراپنے نبیوں کے قاتلوں اور ان کے اوصیاء کے قاتلوں پر مکمل لعنت اور ان کو آتشِ جہنم میں جھونک دے اور لعنت کر ان پر جنہوں نے تیرے ولی کا حق چھینا ان کی بیعت کا انکار کیا اور دین کے کامل ہونے کے دن ان کی ولایت کا یقینی اقرار کرنے کے بعد اس کے مخالف ہوگئے۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ الْعَنْ قَتَلَۃَ اَمِیْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَمَنْ ظَلَمَهٗ وَاَشْیَاعَهُمْ وَاَنْصَارَهُمْ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ الْعَنْ ظَالِمِی الْحُسَیْنِ وَقَاتِلِیْهِ وَالْمُتَابِعِیْنَ عَدُوَّهٗ وَنَاصِرِیْهِ وَالرَّاضِیْنَ بِقَتْلِهٖ وَخَاذِلِیْهِ لَعْنًا وَّبِیْلًا۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ الْعَنْ اَوَّلَ ظَالِمٍ ظَلَمَ اٰلَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَمَانِعِیْهِمْ حُقُوْقَهُمْ۔

O Allah, curse those who slew the Commander of the Faithful, curse those who wronged him, and curse their adherents and supporters. O Allah, curse those who wronged and slew Husain, and curse those who adhered to his enemies and those who supported them, and curse those who were pleased by the murder of killing Husain and those who disappointed him, with violent cursing. O Allah, curse the first one to invent the wronging against the Household of Muhammad and curse those who deprived them of their rights.

اے اللہ! لعنت کر امیر المؤمنینؑ کے قاتلوں پر حضرتؑ پر ظلم کرنے والے پر ان ظالموں کے پیروکاروں اور مددگاروں پر اے اللہ!لعنت کر امام حسین ؑ پرظلم کرنے والوں پر آپ کے قاتلوں پر آپ کے دشمنوں کے پیروکاروں اور مددگاروں پر آپ کے قتل پر خوش ہونے والوں اور آپ کو چھوڑکر جانے والوں پر لعنت اور انہیں عذاب دے اے اللہ! لعنت اس پہلے ظالم پر جس نے آل محمدؐ ؐ پر ظلم کیا اور ان کے حقوق کو روک لیا۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ خُصَّ اَوَّلَ ظَالِمٍ وَغَاصِبٍ لِاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍۢ بِاللَّعْنِ وَكُلَّ مُسْتَنٍّ بِمَا سَنَّ اِلٰی یَوْمِ الْقِیٰمَۃِ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ خَاتَمِ النَّبِیِّیْنَ وَعَلٰی عَلِیٍّ سَیِّدِ الْوَصِیِّیْنَ وَاٰلِهِ الطَّاهِرِیْنَ وَاجْعَلْنَا بِهِمْ مُتَمَسِّكِیْنَ وَبِوِلَایَتِهِمْ مِنَ الْفَآئِزِیْنَ الْآمِنِیْنَ الَّذِیْنَ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَیْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ یَحْزَنُوْنَ۔

O Allah, pour violent curses upon the first one who wronged and usurped the rights of the Household of Muhammad, and curse all those who followed those wrongdoers up to the Resurrection Day. O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad, the seal of the Prophets, and upon Ali, the chief of the Prophets’ successors, and upon his immaculate Household, (please do) make us adhere to them firmly, and include us with those who shall be winners and secured because they abode by their leadership; those upon whom there shall come no fear, nor shall they grieve.

اے اللہ! آل محمدؐ پر ظلم کرنے والے ان کا حق غصب کرنے والے پہلے ظالم سے مخصوص اظہارِ بیزاری کر اوراس کے طریقے پر چلنے والوں سے تا قیامت اظہارِ بیزاری کرتا رہ اے معبود! رحمت فرما نبیوں کے خاتم حضرت محمدؐ پر اور رحمت کر اوصیاء کے سردار علی ؑ پر اور ان کی پاک آل ؑپر اور ہمیں ان سے تعلق رکھنے اور ان کی ولایت کو ماننے والوں میں قرار دے کہ جن کو نہ کوئی خوف ہے نہ ان کو کچھ غم واندیشہ ہے۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.

اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
