Merits of Rajab
ماہِ رجب کی فضیلت
اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّهِ وَاَسْاَلَهُ التَّوْبَةَ۔
As-tagh-ferul-laahe wa as-ala-hut-tawba-ta.
I ask Allah for forgiveness and I pray Him to accept my repentance.
میں خدا سے بخشش چاہتا ہوں اور توبہ کی توفیق مانگتا ہوں۔
سُبْحَانَ الْاِلَهِ الْجَلِيْلِ۔ سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَا يَنْبَغِي التَّسْبِيْحُ اِلَا لَهٗ۔ سُبْحَانَ الْاَعَزِّ الْاَكْرَمِ۔ سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَبِسَ الْعِزَّ وَهُوَ لَهٗ اَهْلٌ۔
Subhaa-nal ela-hil-jaleele, subhaana man laa yan-bagh-it tasbee-ho ilaa lahu, subhaa-nal a-a’z-zil akrame, subhaana man labe-sal i’zza wa howa lahu ah-loon.
Glory be to the All-majestic God. Glory be to Him other than Whom none should be glorified. Glory be to the All-honorable and All-dignified. Glory be to Him Who has dressed Himself with grandeur that fits none but Him.
پاک ہےوہ معبودجو بڑی شان والا ہے پاک ہے وہ کہ جس کے سوا کوئی لائقِ تسبیح نہیں پاک ہے وہ جو بڑا عزّت والا اور بزرگی والا ہے پاک ہے وہ جو لباسِ عزّت میں ملبوس ہے اور وہی اس کا اہل ہے۔
عَظُمَ الذَّنْبُ مِنْ عَبْدِكَ فَلْيَحْسُنِ الْعَفْوُ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ۔
A’zo-maz zanbo min a’b-deka fal-yah-sonil a’fwo min i’n-deka.
Your servant’s sin has become great, so let Your forgiveness from Your presence be even greater and more beautiful.
تیرے بندے کا گناہ بہت بڑا ہے پس تیری طرف سے در گزر بھی خوب ہونی چاہیے۔
