Dua on the Zohr of Ashura for the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (a).
Abdullah bin Sinaan says: On the day of Ashura, I went to visit my Master, Imam Sadiq (a), and found his holiness in an extremely sorrowful condition. And I saw that teardrops were trickling from his holy eyes like pearls. I said: O Prophet’s son, why are you weeping? May Allah never make your eyes weep! His holiness said: Are you ignorant? Don’t you know that Husain bin Ali (a) was martyred on this day? I said: O my Master, what do you have to say about this day? His holiness replied: Abstain from eating and drinking without the intention of fasting; then break your fast without having delicious meal. Do not keep fast for the entire day, but break it moments after the Asr prayer with some water. Indeed, on such a moment did the movements of the enemies halt and their battle and severe bloodshed of the Prophet’s household came to an end, and thirty of their martyrs fell on the ground along with the purified bodies of their friends and companions covered with dust and blood. This affliction is immensely great and difficult for the holy Prophet (peace be upon him). If his holiness would be alive today, he would mourn for them himself.
عبداللہ بن سنان کہتاہے کہ عاشور کے دن امام جعفر صادق کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا حضرت کا رنگ متغیر اور غمگین موتیوں کی طرح آنسو آنکھوں سے جاری ہوتے ہوئے دیکھا میں نے عرض کیا اے فرزند رسول خدا آپ کیوں روتے ہیں اللہ آپ کو نہ رلائے حضرت نے فرمایا کیا تم غافل ہو کیا نہیں جانتے ہو کہ ان جیسے دنوں میں امام حسین شہید ہوچکے ہیں میں نے عرض کیا اے میرے آقا آج کے دن روزہ رکھنے میں آپکا کیا نظریہ ہے حضرت نے فرمایا ایسے دنوں میں روزہ رکھیں رات کو روزہ کی نیت کئے بغیر افطار کرو خوشی کے بغیر اس روزہ کو مکمل روزہ قرار نہ دیں نماز عصر کے بعد ایک گھنٹہ بعد پانی سے افطار کریں چونکہ ایسے اوقات میں فرزند رسول سے جنگ ختم کی گئی ہے اور جنگ کا فتنہ خاموش ہوا اور ان میں سے تیس آدمی زمین پر پڑے ہوئے تھے یہ رسول خدا کے لئے بہت سخت تھا اگر اس دن حضرت رسول زندہ ہوتے تو خود ان کے لئے عزاداری کرتے راوی کہتاہے حضرت امام جعفر صادق روئے یہاں تک کہ حضرت کی داڑھی آنکھوں کے آنسو سے تر ہوگئی اس کے بعد فرمایا خداوند تعالیٰ نے نور کو پیدا کیا تو اس کو جمعہ کے دن ماہ رمضان کے پہلے دن پیدا کیا اور تاریکی کو بدھ کے دن دس محرم کے دن خلق کیا ان میں دو کو ہر ایک کے لئے روشن راستہ قراردیا۔
Abdullah says: His holiness wept in such a way that his holy beard became wet due to his tears. Then he said: Allah (swt) destined the creation of light on the day of Friday the first day of the Holy month of Ramadan. And destined darkness on Wednesday, tenth of Muharram (the day of Ashura). And made ways and methods for every single day. O Abdullah, the best of actions you can perform on this day is to wear clean clothes and do Tasallub. I asked: What is Tasallub ? His holiness replied: Keep your collar open and fold your sleeves like a mourner, then go to a barren desert or a place where no one can see you, or choose an empty house for you, or travel towards another place of solitude while the sun rises; then offer 4 units of prayer with proper Ruku and Sujood, and recite Salaam between every 2 units. In the 1st unit, after Surah Fateha recite Surah Kaafiroon, and in the 2nd unit, after Surah Fateha recite Surah Ikhlaas. Then offer another 2 units prayer wherein after Surah Fateha recite Surah Ahzaab in the 1st unit and in the 2nd unit after Surah Fateha recite Surah Munafeqoon or after Surah Fateha you can recite the Surah which is convenient for you. Then complete your prayer and face towards the grave of Imam Husain (a), and bring the place of his martyrdom within your sight, then send blessing and Salawaat on his holiness and all the honourable men (his sons and household) who were martyred along with him. Then curse his enemies and express disgust and estrangement towards their actions; with this deed, Allah will raise your grades in heaven and drop your sins. Then take a few steps ahead from whichever desert or lonely place you are, and say…
اے عبداللہ بن سنان بہترین عمل اس دن یہ ہے کہ آج کے دن پاک کپڑے پہنیں اور تسلّب کریں میں نے عرض کیا کہ تسلب کا کیا مطلب ہے حضرت نے فرمایا اپنے آپ کو مصیبت زدہ لوگوں کی طرح قراردیں اپنی عبا کو کھول دیں اور لباس کو کہنیوں سے کھول دیں مصیبت زدہ لوگوں کی طرح قراردیں اور عزاداری کریں اس کے بعد ایسی جگہ پر جائیں کہ جہاں کوئی بھی نہ ہو ظہر کے وقت ۴ رکعت نماز خشوع کے ساتھ رکوع اور سجود اور دوسلام پڑھیں پہلی رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ اور سورۂ کافرون اور دوسری رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ اور سورۂ اخلاص کو پڑھے اس کے بعد دوسرے ۲ رکعت بھی پڑھ لے پہلی رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ اور سورۂ احزاب اور دوسری رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ اور سورۂ منافقون یا جو بھی اس کے لئے آسانی ہو پڑھ لے نماز کو تمام کریں اور حضرت امام حسین کے مرقد کی طرف متوجہ ہوجائیں اور اس حال میں حضرت کے قتلگاہ ان کے اعزاء ان کے فرزند اور ان کے اہلبیت کو نظر میں رکھیں اور ان پر سلام اور درود بھیجیں اور حضرت کے قاتلوں پر لعنت بھیجیں ان کے اس کام سے بیزاری حاصل کریں خداوند تعالیٰ تیرے اس عمل کی وجہ سے بہشت میں بلند درجات دے گا اور تمہارے گناہوں کو بخشے گا اس وقت آپ جہاں بھی ہوں چند قدم اٹھائیں اور حرکت کریں اور کہیں۔۔۔
اِنَّا لِلہِ وَاِنَّا اِلَیْہِ رَاجِعُوْنَ رِضًا بِقَضَآئِہٖ وَتَسْلِیْمًا لِّاَمْرِہٖ۔
Innaa lillaahi wa-innaa ilayhi raaji'oona ridan biqadaa'ihee watasleeman li-amrih.
Verily we are Allah’s and verily unto Him we return. We are happy with His will and carry out His command.
بےشک ہم اللہ کی طرف سے ہیں اور اسی کی طرف پلٹائے جائنگے، ہم اس کی رضا پر راضی ہے اور اس کے فرمانبردار ہیں۔
After performing these deeds and walking this distance, return to the place where you had offered the prayer in the beginning and then recite dua Allahumma azze-bil fajarata.
ان تمام حالات میں محزون اور غمگین ہوں ان دنوں میں خدا کو زیادہ یاد کریں کلمہ استرجاع بہت زیادہ زبان پر جاری کریں جب اس حالت میں چند قدم اٹھائیں جہاں نماز پڑھی ہے وہیں پر بیٹھ جائیں اس کے بعددُعا اَللّٰہُمَّ عَذِّبِ الْفَجَرَۃَ پڑھے۔
Then raise your hands and express humility by reciting this prayer; and while indicating towards the enemies of the Prophet’s holy Progeny (a), recite dua of the Day of Ashura.
اس کے بعد اپنے ہاتھوں کو بلند کریں اور قنوت میں اس دعا کوپڑھیں اس حالت میں کہ آل محمد کے دشمنوں کی طرف اشارہ کریں اور دُعا روزِ عاشور پڑھے۔
O son of Sinaan, this supplication is more virtuous than several recommended Hajj and Umrah for which you spend your wealth, tire your body and depart from your family. And beware that whoever offers this prayer on that day, recites this supplication with pure intention and performs this deed with certainty and confirmation (of Allah and the Infallibles), Allah (swt) grants him ten specialities: He will save him from undesirable death. He will protect him from poverty and sufferings. Will not let his enemies overcome him till the end of his life. Will deliver him and his sons up to the fourth generation from insanity, leprosy and alphosis. Will not let Satan and his servants dominate him and his sons till his fourth generation. Ibn e Sinaan says: I left Imam (a) in such a state that I was saying: All praises are due to Allah who favoured upon me with your cognition and friendship, and I seek His support so that he makes me successful in your obedience (which He has made compulsory on us), with his grace and mercy.
اے ابن سنان یہ عمل مستحب حج اور عمرہ سے بہتر ہے اس عمرہ سے کہ جس میں اپنا سارامال خرچ کریں اور اپنے آپ کو زحمت میں ڈالیں اور اپنے اھل و عیال سے جدائی اختیار کریں۔ جان لو جو بھی ان دنوں میں اس نماز کو خلوص کے ساتھ پڑھے اور اس عمل کو یقین اور تصدیق کے ساتھ انجام دے خداوند متعال اس کو دس خصلتیں عطا کرتاہے ان میں ایک یہ ہے کہ بُری موت سے نجات دیتاہے برائی اور فقر سے محفوظ رکھتاہے جب تک زندہ ہے دشمن اس پر غالب نہیں آئے گا بیماریوں سے جیسے جذام برص جنون سے اس کو اور اس کے فرزندوں کو چار پشت تک محفوظ رکھتاہے چار پشت تک اس پر اس کے دوستوں پر اور اس کے فرزندوں پر شیطان مسلّط نہیں ہوتاہے۔ ابن سنان کہتاہے میں حضرت کی خدمت سے رخصت ہوا حالانکہ میں کہتا تھا اللہ کی حمد و ثناء ہے کہ جس نے مجھ پر منت رکھا تا کہ تمہیں اور تمہاری محبت کو پہچانوں اس کے احسان اور رحمت سے درخواست کرتاہوں کہ میری تمہارے واجب کی اطاعت پر مدد کرے۔
