دعاء عالیشان
A declaration of the Oneness of Allah, repeated alongside His names as the glorious and supreme, the mighty and oft-returning, the one and dominating, and the single who has no associate. The reciter states that they surrender to His will, are sincere, and worship Him alone, and affirms that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah and that Ali is the vicegerent of Allah. It closes by asking Allah, by His mercy, to send blessings upon Muhammad and his purified progeny.
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ الْجَلِيْلُ الْجَبَّارُ۔ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ الْعَزِيْزُ الْغَفَّارُ۔ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ۔ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ، اِلٰهًا وَاحِدًا وَنَحْنُ لَهٗ مُسْلِمُوْنَ۔ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ، اِلٰهًا وَاحِدًا وَنَحْنُ لَهٗ مُخْلِصُوْنَ۔ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ، اِلٰهًا وَاحِدًا وَ نَحْنُ لَهٗ عَابِدُوْنَ۔ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَّسُوْلُ اللهِ عَلِيٌّ وَلِيُّ اللهِ، وَ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلٰي خَيْرِ خَلْقِهٖ وَمَظْهَرِ لُطْفِهٖ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاٰلِهٖ اَجْمَعِيْنَ الطَّيِّبِيْنَ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ۔
Laa ilaaha illal laa-hul jalee-lul jabaa-ro.
Laa ilaaha illal laa-hul a’zee-zul ghaf-faaro.
Laa ilaaha illal laa-hul waahe-dul qa-haaro.
Laa ilaaha illal laa-ho wah-dahu laa sharee-ka lahu, elaa-han waahe-dan wa nahno lahu musle-moona.
Laa ilaaha illal laa-ho wah-dahu laa sharee-ka lahu elaa-han waahe-dan wa nahno lahu mukh-lesoon.
Laa ilaaha illal laa-ho wah-dahu laa sharee-ka lahu elaa-han waahe-dan wa nahno lahu a’abe-doona.
Laa ilaaha illal laa-ho mohamma-dur rasoo-lul laahe a’liyyun waliy-ul-laahe, wa sallal laaho a’laa khaire khalqe-hi wa maz-hare lutfe-hi mohammadin wa aale-hi ajma-e’e-nat tayye-bee-nat taahe-reena be-rah-mate-ka yaa ar-hamar raahe-meen.
There is no god save Allah, the glorious, the supreme. There is no god save Allah, the mighty, the oft-returning. There is no god save Allah, the one, the dominating. There is no god save Allah, the single who has no associate, the only God, we surrender ourselves to His will. There is no god save Allah, the single who has no associate, the only God, we are those who are sincere. There is no god save Allah, the single who has no associate, the only God, we are those who worship you. There is no god save Allah, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, Ali is the vicegerent of Allah. Blessings of Allah be on His best creation, the manifestation of His pleasure, Muhammad and his excellent & purified children, on account of Your mercy, O most merciful.
اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، جو بے حد جلال والا اور ہر چیز پر قادر (الجبار) ہے۔ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، جو عزیز اور بخشنے والا ہے۔ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، جو یکتا (واحد) اور ہر چیز پر حاکم (قھّار) ہے۔ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ یکتا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں۔ وہی اکیلا معبود ہے اور ہم اسی کے فرمانبردار ہیں۔ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ یکتا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں۔ وہی اکیلا معبود ہے اور ہم اسی کے لیے خالص (اخلاص رکھنے والے) ہیں۔ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ یکتا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں۔ وہی اکیلا معبود ہے اور ہم اسی کے عبادت گزار ہیں۔ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، محمدؐ اللہ کے رسولؐ ہیں، اور علیؑ اللہ کے ولی ہیں۔ اور اللہ اپنی بہترین مخلوق اور اپنی رحمت کے مظہر پر رحمتیں نازل فرمائے۔ یعنی محمدؐ اور ان کی پاکیزہ آلِ طاہرین پر، جو آپ کی رحمت کے ذریعے پاک کیے گئے ہیں اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے!
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
