دفن میت کے بعد
What is said once the grave has been filled, kept with the other duas for the details of burial.
It is a supplication for the person just left there, and every phrase is about being alone: entertain his lonesomeness, have mercy on his seclusion, calm his fear, keep him company. Its central request is that Allah place with him a share of His mercy so large that he will need the mercy of no one else at all, and that he be raised with those he was loyal to.
The talqin follows — the reminder spoken at the graveside: Allah is your Lord, Muhammad your Prophet, the Qur'an your Book, the Ka'bah your qiblah, Ali your Imam — and then the twelve Imams named one by one to the Qa'im (ajtf).
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَنِسْ وَحْشَتَهٗ وَارْحَمْ غُرْبَتَهٗ وَاَسْكِنْ رَوْعَتَهٗ وَصِلْ وَحْدَتَهٗ وَاَسْكِنْ اِلَيْهِ مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ رَحْمَةً يَسْتَغْنِىْ بِهَا عَنْ رَحْمَةِ مَنْ سِوَاكَ وَاحْشُرْهُ مَعَ مَنْ كَانَ يَتَوَلَّاهُ۔
Allaahumma anis wah-shata-hu war-ham ghur-bata-hu wa as-kin raw‘ata-hu wa sil wah-data-hu wa as-kin ilaiy-he min rah-mate-ka rah-matan yas-tagh-nee be-haa ‘an rah-mate man sewaa-ka wah-shur-ho ma‘a man kaana yata-wallaah.
O Allah, (please) entertain his lonesomeness, have mercy upon his seclusion, calm down his fear, maintain (communion) his loneliness, put with him part of Your mercy due to which he will dispense with the mercy of anyone other than You, and resurrect him with those to whom he has been loyal.
اے معبود! اس کے خوف میں ہم د م بن، اس کی بے کسی پر رحم کر، اس کا ڈر دور کر دے، اس کی تنہائی کا ساتھی رہ اور اپنی رحمتوں سے خاص رحمت اس کے ساتھ کر دے تاکہ اس کے ذریعے سے اپنے غیر کی رحمت سے بے نیاز کر دے اور اس کو ان کے ساتھ اٹھانا، جن سے محبت رکھتا تھا۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔

اَللهُ رَبُّكَ وَمُحَمَّدٌ نَبِيِّكَ وَالْقُرْآنُ كِتَابُكَ وَالْكَعْبَةُ قِبْلَتُكَ وَعَلِىٌّ اَمَامُكَ وَالْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ وَعَلِىُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيْ وَجَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَمُوْسَى بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَعَلِىُّ بْنُ مُوْسٰى وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيْ وَعَلِىُّ بْنُ مَحَمَّدٍ وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيْ وَالْقَاۗئِمُ الْحُجَّةُ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ اَئِمَّتُهٗ اَئِمَّةُ الْهُدَى الْاَبْرَارُ۔
Allaa-ho rabbo-ka wa mohamma-dun nabiy-yeka wal qur-aano ketaa-boka wal ka’bato qibla-toka wa ‘aliyyun imaamo-ka wal hasano wal husaino wa ‘ali-yub-nul husai-ne wa mohamma-dubno ‘ali wa ja’fa-rubno mohammadin wa moo-sabno ja’farin wa ‘aliy-yubno moosaa wa mohamma-dubno ‘ali wa ‘aliy-yubno mohammadin wal hasa-nubno ‘ali wal qaaa-e-mul hujjato ‘aliy-he-mus salaam aimma-tohu aimma-tul hodal abraar.
Allah is your lord, Muhammad is your prophet, the Qur’an is your book, the Ka`bah is your direction, Ali is your Imam, and Hasan, Husain, Ali the son of Husain, Muhammad the son of Ali, Ja`far the son of Muhammad, Moosa the son of Ja`far, Ali the son of Moosa, Muhammad the son of Ali, Ali the son of Muhammad, Hasan the son of Ali, and the Rising Argument-person, peace be upon them all are your Imams. They are the pious leaders to true guidance.
ﷲ تیرا رب ہے، حضرت محمدؐ تیرے نبیؐ ہیں اور قرآن تیری کتاب ہے، کعبہ تیرا قبلہ ہے، حضرت علیؑ تیرے امام ہیں اور حسنؑ اور حسینؑ، علی ابن الحسینؑ، محمد ابن علیؑ، جعفر ابن محمدؑ،موسیٰ ابن جعفرؑ،علی ابن موسیٰؑ، محمد ابن علیؑ، علی ابن محمدؑ،حسن ابن علیؑ اور حجت القائم علیہم سلام تیرے امام ہیں جو ہدایت و نیکی والے امام ہیں۔
