1st Istekhara…
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْتَخِیْرُكَ لِعِلْمِكَ بِعَاقِبَۃِ الْاُمُوْرِ، وَاَسْتَشِیْرُكَ لِحُسْنِ ظَنِّیْ بِكَ فِی الْمَامُوْلِ وَالْمَحْذُوْرِ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنْ كَانَ الْاَمْرُ الْفَلَانِیْ بِمَا قَدْ نِیْطَتْ بِالْبَرَكَۃِ اَعْجَازُهٗ وَبَوَادِیْهٖ، وَحُفَّتْ بِالْكَرَامَۃِ اَیَّامُهٗ وَلَیَالِیْهِ، فَخِرْلِیَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ فِیْهٖ خِیَرَۃً تَرُدُّ شَمُوْسَهٗ ذَلُوْلًا، وَتَقْعَضُ اَیَّامَهٗ سُرُوْرًا۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اِمَّا اَمْرٌ فَاَئْتَمِرُ، اِمَّانَهْیٌ فَاَنْتَهِهْ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْتَخِیْرُكَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ خِیَرَۃً فِیْ عَافِیَۃٍ۔
Allaahumma innee asta-kheero-ka le‘ilme-ka be‘aaqe-batil omoo-re wa asta-sheero-ka le-husne zannee beka fil maamoo-le wal-ham-zoore.
Allaahumma in kaanal amrul folaa-nee mimmaa qad-naiy-tat bil-barakate a’jaazo-hu wa bawaa-daiy-he wa huffat bil-karaa-mate ayyaa-mohu wale-yaa-leehe fa-khir-lee.
Allaahumma feehe khayara-tan ta-ruddo shomoo-sahu zaloo-lan wa taq‘azo ayyaa-mahu soroo-ran.
Allaahumma immaa amroon fa-a-tamero wa immaa nahyoon fa-anta-hee.
Allaahumma innee asta-kheero-ka be-rahmate-ka kheya-ratin fee ‘aafe-yah.
O Allah, I seek the good from You because You know about the fate of all affairs, I seek advice from You because I am optimistic about You for all that I desire and all that I fear. O Allah, if that affair (and name your work) is attached to Your grace from the beginning till the end, and is enveloped by Your blessings throughout its days and nights, then select it for me. O Allah, such that its rebellion calms down, and it possesses happy and prosperous days. O Allah, if You will command I will perform it, and if You forbid me from it, I will forsake it. O Allah, indeed I seek the good from You through Your Mercy, the good along with the welfare.
خدایا! میں تجھ سے طلبِ خیر کر رہا ہوں کیوں کہ تو امور کے عواقب و نتائج سے واقف ہے اور تجھ سے مشورہ کر رہا ہوں کیوں کہ جن چیزوں کی مجھے امید ہے اور جن سے خوف زدہ ہوں ان کے بارے میں میں تجھ سے حُسن ظن رکھتا ہوں۔ بارِ الہٰا! اس فلاں کام کا آغاز و انجام اگر برکتوں کے ہمراہ ہے اور اس کے شب و روز کرامت و شرافت کے حامل ہوں تو میرے لئے اس میں ایسی خیر و بھلائی کا انتخاب فرما جو سختیوں کو آسائشوں میں بدل دے اور اس کے دنوں کو نشاط و سرور سے پُر کر دے۔ خدایا! اگر تیرا حکم ہو تو بجالاؤں گا اور اگر تو منع فرمائے تو رک جاؤں گا۔ خدایا! تیری رحمت کے ساتھ تجھ سے خیر و عافیت کا طالب ہوں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
