امام جعفر صادقؑ فرماتے ہیں کہ صبح کے وقت یہ دعا پڑھے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ اَحْمَدُكَ وَاَسْتَعِيْنُكَ وَاَنْتَ رَبِّىْ وَاَنَا عَبْدُكَ اَصْبَحْتُ عَلٰى عَهْدِكَ وَ وَعْدِكَ وَاُوْمِنُ بِوَعْدِكَ وَاُوْفِىْ بِعَهْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهٗ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ اَصْبَحْتُ عَلٰى فِطْرَةِ الْاِسْلَامِ وَكَلِمَةِ الْاِخْلَاصِ وَمِلَّةِ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ وَدِيْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِمَا وَآلِهِمَا عَلٰى ذٰلِكَ اُحْيِىْ وَاَمُوْتُ اِنْ شاءَ اللهُ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَحْيِنِىْ مَا اَحْيَيْتَنِىْ وَاَمِتْنِىْ اِذَا اَمَتَّنِىْ عَلٰى ذٰلِكَ وَابْعَثْنِىْ اِذَا بَعَثْتَنِىْ عَلٰى ذٰلِكَ اَبْتَغِىْ بِذٰلِكَ رِضْوَانَكَ وَاتِّبَاعَ سَبِيْلِكَ اِلَيْكَ اَلْجَاْتُ ظَهْرِىْ وَاِلَيْكَ فَوَّضْتُ اَمْرِىْ آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ اَئِمَّتِىْ لَيْسَ لِىْ اَئِمَّةٌ غَيْرُهُمْ بِهِمْ اَئْتَمُّ وَاِيَّاهُمْ اَتَوَلّٰى وَبِهِمْ اَقْتَدِىْ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُمْ اَوْلِيَآئِىْ فِى الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَاجْعَلْنِىْ اُوَالِىْ اَوْلِيَآئَهُمْ وَاُعَادِىْ اَعْدَآئَهُمْ فِى الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَاَلْحِقْنِىْ بِالصَّالِحِيْنَ وَآبَائِىْ مَعَهُمْ۔
Allaahumma laka al-hamdu ahmaduka wa-asta'eenuka wa-anta rabbee wa-anaa 'abduka asbahtu 'alaa 'ahdika wa wa'dika wa-oominu biwa'dika wa-oofee bi'ahdika maa istata'tu walaa hawla walaa quwwata illaa billaahi wahdahoo laa shareeka lahoo wa-ashhadu anna muhammadan 'abduhoo warasooluhoo asbahtu 'alaa fitrati al-islaami wakalimati al-ikhlaasi wamillati ibraaheema wadeeni muhammadin salawaatu allaahi 'alayhimaa wa-aalihimaa 'alaa zaalika uhyee wa-amootu in shaa'a allaah.
Allaahumma ahyinee maa ahyaytanee wa-amitnee izaa amattanee 'alaa zaalika wab'athnee izaa ba'athtanee 'alaa zaalika abtaghee bizaalika ridwaanaka wattibaa'a sabeelika ilayka al-ja'tu zahree wa-ilayka fawwadtu amree aalu muhammadin a'immatee laysa lee a'immatun ghayruhum bihim a'tammu wa-iyyaahum atawallaa wabihim aqtadee.
Allaahumma ij'alhum awliyaa'ee fee ad-dunyaa wal-aakhirati waj'alnee uwaalee awliyaa'ahum wa-u'aadee a'daa'ahum fee ad-dunyaa wal-aakhirati wal-hiqnee bis-saaliheena wa-aabaa'ee ma'ahum.
O Allah, all praise be to You. I praise You and seek Your help. You are my Lord and I am Your servant. I begin this morning committing myself to my pledge and promise to You, having faith in Your promise, and fulfilling my covenant to You as much as I can. There is neither might nor power except with Allah, One and Only and having no associate with Him. I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger. I am in this morning following the nature of Islam, the creed of sincerity, the principles of Abraham, and the faith of Muhammad, blessings of Allah be upon them and upon their households. Carrying this faith, I will live and die, if Allah wills. O Allah, (please) make me live as long as You determine me to live and cause me to die when You will decide to make me die following this faith, and resurrect me, when You will resurrect me following this faith. By so, I only desire for Your pleasure and for following Your path. To You do I resort and with You do I entrust my affairs. The Family of Muhammad are my leaders; I have no other leaders than they are. I follow them, accede to them, and pattern after their examples. O Allah, (please) make them my leaders in this world and in the Hereafter, keep me loyalist to their loyalists and enemy of their enemies in this world and in the Hereafter, and include me with the righteous ones, along with my ancestors.
اے معبود تیرے لئے ہے حمد میں تیری حمد کرتا ہوں تجھ سے مدد چا ہتا ہوں کہ تو میرا رب ہے اور میں تیرا بندہ ہوں، میں نے تیرے عہد ووعدے پر صبح کی میں تیرے وعدے پر ایمان رکھتا ہوں اور تیرے عہد کو پورا کرتا ہوں جہاں تک کر سکتا ہوں اور نہیں طاقت وقوت مگر اللہ سے وہ یکتا ہے کوئی اس کا شریک نہیں، میں گواہ ہوں کہ محمدؐ اس کے بندے اور اس کے رسول ہیں، میں نے صبح کی ہے اسلام کی فطرت پراور بے ملاوٹ عقیدے پر ابراہیمؑ کے گروہ اور محمدؐ کے دین پر خدا کی رحمت ہو دونوں پر اور دونوں کی آلؑ پر، اسی پر زندہ ہوں اور اسی پر مروں گا اگر خدا نے چاہا، خدایا جب تک مجھے زندہ رکھے اور جب موت دے تو مجھے اسی راہ پر اور جب تو مجھے دوبارہ اٹھا ئے اسی عقیدے پر اٹھانا، اسی کے ذریعے میں تیری رضا اور تجھ تک پہنچانے والے راستے پر چلنا چاہتاہوں، تیری ذات پر تکیہ ہے اپنا معاملہ تیرے سپرد کر دیا ہے، آل محمدؑ میرے امام ہیں ان کے علاوہ کوئی میرا امام نہیں، انہی کو امام مانتا ہوں انہی کا محب ہوں، ان کی پیروی کرتا ہوں۔ اے معبود! ان کو دنیا وآخرت میں میرا سید و سردار قرار دے مجھ کو ان کے دوستوں سے دوستی اور دشمنوں سے دشمنی رکھنے والا بنا اس دنیا اور آخرت میں اور مجھے صالحین سے ملا دے اور میرے بزرگوں کو ان کے ساتھ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
