غیبت کے ختم ہونے کے لئے حضرت حجت کو وسیلہ قرار دیتے ہیں داؤد بن زربی کہتاہے کہ میں مدینہ منورہ میں سخت بیمار ہوا یہ خبر امام صادق تک پہنچی حضرت نے کرم فرمایا اور خط کے ضمن میں اس طرح فرمایا میں تمہاری بیماری سے آگاہ ہوا شفاء کے لئے تین کیلو گندم خرید لیں اس کے بعد پشت کے بل لیٹیں اور اس کو سینہ پر پھیلادیں اور کہیں۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْاَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِیْ اِذَا سَاَلَكَ بِهِ الْمُضْطَرُّ كَشَفْتَ مَا بِهٖ مِنْ ضُرٍّ، وَمَكَّنْتَ لَهٗ فِیْ الْاَرْضِ، وَجَعَلْتَهٗ خَلِیْفَتَكَ عَلٰی خَلْقِكَ، اَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلٰی اَهْلِ بَیْتِهٖ، وَاَنْ تُعَافِیَنِیْ مِنْ عِلَّتِیْ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bismika allazee izaa sa'alaka bihi al-mudtarru kashafta maa bihee min durrin, wamakkanta lahoo fee al-ardi, waja'altahoo khaleefataka 'alaa khalqika, an tusalliya 'alaa muhammadin wa'alaa ahli baytihee, wa-an tu'aafiyanee min 'illatee.
O Allah, I ask You through Your name with which if a distressed one asks You, You rescue him from his difficulty, and provide him with power on Earth, and make him Your Caliph upon Your creations, to bless Mohammad and his household, and cure me from my sickness.
اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے تیرے اُس نام کے وسیلے سے سوال کرتا/کرتی ہوں کہ جب کوئی بے قرار و مجبور (مضطر) اس نام کے ذریعے تجھ سے دعا کرے تو تو اُس کی تکلیف دور کر دیتا ہے، اور اُسے زمین میں اقتدار/تمکّن عطا فرماتا ہے، اور اُسے اپنی مخلوق پر اپنا خلیفہ قرار دیتا ہے۔ (اے اللہ!) محمدؐ اور اُن کے اہلِ بیتؑ پر درود بھیج، اور مجھے میری بیماری سے شفا اور عافیت عطا فرما۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
Then sit down, collect the fallen wheat and recite this supplication again. Then divide the wheat into one Mudd each (one Mudd is equal to 10 Sair which equals 750 grams) and give each one of them to a poor person; and recite this supplication again. Dawood says: When I performed this act, I felt delivered from all entanglements. A few others performed this act as well and benefitted from it.
اس کے بعد اٹھیں اور بیٹھیں اور گندم کو اپنے اطراف سے جمع کریں پھر وہی دعا پڑھ لیں اس کے بعد دس سیر (فارسی) گندم فقراء کے درمیان تقسیم کریں پھر وہی دعا پڑھ لیں داؤد کہتاہے کہ میں نے اس عمل کو انجام دیا اور ٹھیک ہوگیا۔
