Before Journey
سفر سے پہلے
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ طَہِّرْنِیْ وَطَہِّرْ لِیْ قَلْبِیْ وَاشْرَحْ لِیْ صَدْرِیْ وَاَجِرْ عَلٰی لِسَانِیْ مِدْحَتَکَ وَالثَّنَآئِ عَلَیْکَ فَاِنَّہٗ لَا قُوَّۃَ اِلَّا بِکَ۔ اَللّٰہُمَّ اجْعَلْہُ لِیْ طَہُوْرًا وَشِفَائً وَنُوْرًا۔
Allaahumma tahhirnee wa haahirlee qalbee wash-rah lee sadree wa ajre a'laa lesaanee midhataka was-sanaaa-e a'layka fa innahu laa quwwata illaa beka allaahummaj a'lho lee tahooran wa shefaa-a'n wa nooran.
O Allah, (please) cleanse me, cleanse my heart, expand my breast, and let Your praise and eulogy flow out from my tongue; since indeed there is neither might nor power except with You. O Allah, (please) establish it as a means of cleansing and healing and light for me.
اے معبود! مجھے پاک کر دے میرا دل پاک کر دے اور میرے سینے کو کھول دے میری زبان پر اپنی مدح و ستائش جاری کر دے کیوں کہ نہیں ہے قوت مگر تجھ سے اے معبود! اس غسل کومیرے لیے پاکیزگی وشفا اور نور کا ذریعہ بنا۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ وَ بِاللہِ وَ اِلَی اللہِ وَ اِلَی ابْنِ رَسُوْلِ اللہِ حَسْبِیَ اللہُ تَوَکَّلْتُ عَلَی اللہِ۔ اَللّٰہُمَّ اِلَیْکَ تَوَجَّہْتُ وَ اِلَیْکَ قَصَدْتُ وَمَا عِنْدَکَ اَرَدْتُ۔
Bismillaahe wa billaahe wa elallaahe wa elabne rasoolillaahe hasbeyal laaho tawakkalto a’lal laahe allaahumma elayka tawajjahto wa elayka qasadto wa maa i’ndaka aradto.
In the Name of Allah (I begin), in Allah (I trust), to Allah and towards the son of Allah’s Messenger (I turn my face). Allah is Sufficient unto me and on Allah do I rely. O Allah, I have set out to You, directed toward You, and desired for what You have in possession.
خدا کے نام سے خدا کی ذات کے واسطے سے چلا ہوں خداکی طرف اور رسول خداؐ کے فرزند کی طرف میرے لئے خدا کافی ہے میں نے خدا پر بھروسہ کیا ہے اے معبود!میں نے تیری طرف رخ کیا اور تیری طرف چلا ہوں اور جو کچھ تیرے ہاں ہے اس کی خواہش رکھتا ہوں۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ اِلَیْکَ وَجَّہْتُ وَجْہِیْ وَعَلَیْکَ خَلَّفْتُ اَہْلِیْ وَمَالِیْ وَمَا خَوَّلْتَنِیْ وَبِکَ وَثِقْتُ فَلَا تُخَیِّبْنِیْ یَا مَنْ لَّا یُخَیِّبُ مَنْ اَرَادَہٗ وَلَا یُضَیِّعُ مَنْ حَفِظَہٗ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاحْفَظْنِیْ بِحِفْظِکَ فَاِنَّہٗ لَا یَضِیْعُ مَنْ خَفِظْتَ۔
Allaahumma elayka wajjahto wa a’layka khallafto ahlee wa maalee wa maa khawwaltanee wa beka wasiqto falaa tokhayyibnee yaa man laa yokhayyebo man araaadahu wa laa yozayye-o’ man hafezahu salle a’laa mohammadin wa aale mohammadin wah-faznee be hifzeka fa-innahu laa yozee-o’ man hafizta.
O Allah, to You am I turning my face and with You do I keep my family members, my property, and everything with which You have allowed me to behave. I have trusted in You; so, do not disappoint me. O He Who saves those who trust in Him from disappointment and He Who does not give up those whom He safeguards. O Allah, (please do) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and guard me under Your custody, since nothing that You guard may be ruined.
اے معبود!میں نے اپنا رخ تیری طرف کیا اور میں نے اپنا مال اپنا کنبہ اور جو کچھ تو نے دیا ہے سب کچھ تیرے سپرد کیا اور تجھ پر بھروسہ کیا ہے، پس تنگ دست نہ کر اے وہ جو تنگ دست نہیں کرتا جو اس کی طرف آئے وہ گم نہیں ہوتا جس کی وہ حفاظت کرے، حضرت محمدؐ اور آل محمدؐ پر رحمت فرما اور مجھ کو اپنی نگرانی میں رکھ کیوں کہ جو تیری حفاظت میں ہو وہ ضائع نہیں ہوتا۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
