New Moon

چاند رات

1. Recite Surah Muhammad after seeing New Moon.

   ماہِ رمضان کا چاند دیکھے بلکہ بعض علماء نے تو ہلالِ رمضان کا دیکھنا واجب قرار دیا ہے۔ چاند (ہلال) دیکھے تو سورۂ محمد کی تلاوت کرے۔

2. Recite dua Rabbi wa Rabbokallaho.

   دُعا رَبِّیْ وَرَبُّکَ اللہُ پڑھے۔

3. When the Holy Prophet (s) would see the new moon of Ramazan, he would turn his face towards Qibla and recite dua Allahumma ahillahu.

   روایت نقل ہوئی ہے کہ جب حضرت رسول اﷲؐماہِ مبارک رمضان کا نیا چاند دیکھتے تو قبلہ رُخ ہو کر دعا اَللّٰهُمَّ اَهِلَّهٗ پڑھتے۔

4. It is related from Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a) that when you see the new moon you must recite dua Allahumma qad hazara shahre Ramazan.

   امام جعفر صادقؑ سے منقول ہے : ہلالِ رمضان دیکھتے وقت دعا اَللّٰهُمَّ قَدْ حَضَرَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ پڑھے۔

5. Recite dua Allaahumma… Khaira Haazaa

   اَللّٰهُمَّ۔۔۔ خَیْرَ هٰذَا

6. Recite dua Ayyo Hal Khalqul mutee’o

   اَیُّهَا الْخَلْقُ الْمُطِیْعُ

7. Dua on Sighting the Ramazan New Moon Allaahumma Ahillahu A’laiy-na

   امام علیؑ ماہ رمضان کا چاند ملاحظہ فرماتے تھے تو قبلہ رُخ ہو کر یہ دعا پڑھتے تھے اَللّٰهُمَّ اَهِلَّهٗ عَلَیْنَا

8. Recite Sahifa-e-Sajjadiya-43.

   رویتِ ہلال (نیا چاند دیکھنے) کے وقت صحیفۂ سجادیہ دعا -۴۳ پڑھے۔

9. 1st Night Amaal of the Lunar month.

   قمری مہینےکی پہلی رات کے اعمال۔
