Allahumma ahillahu
واجب اور نافلہ نماز کا سبب
A supplication recited on sighting the new moon (crescent). The reciter asks Allah to make the new month one of security, faith, safety and good health, of protection from ailments, and of help in prayer, fasting, worship and the recitation of the Qur’an. It belongs to the a’maal recited at the start of a lunar month, especially the month of Ramadan.
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَهِلَّهٗ عَلَيْنَا بِالْاَمْنِ وَالْاِيْمَانِ وَالسَّلَامَةِ وَالْاِسْلَامِ وَالْعَافِيَةِ الْمُجَلَّلَةِ وَدِفَاعِ الْاَسْقَامِ (وَالرِّزْقِ الْوَاسِعِ) وَالْعَوْنِ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَالصِّيَامِ وَالْقِيَامِ وَتِلَاوَةِ الْقُرْآنِ اَللّٰهُمَّ سَلِّمْنَا لِشَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَتَسَلَّمْهُ مِنَّا وَسَلِّمْنَا فِيْهِ حَتّٰى يَنْقَضِيَ عَنَّا شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ وَقَدْ عَفَوْتَ عَنَّا وَغَفَرْتَ لَنَا وَرَحِمْتَنَا۔
Allaahumma a-hilla-hu bil amne wal imaane was salaama-te wal islaame wal aa’fe-yatil mujalla-late wa defaa-i’l isqaa-me (war-rizqil waase-e’) wal a’w-ne a’las salaate was seyaa-me wal qeyaame wa telaa-watil qur-aane.
Allaahumma sallim-naa le-shahre ramazaa-na wa tasal-lamho minnaa wa sallim-naa feehe hattaa yan-qaze-ya a’nnaa shahro ramazaa-na wa qad a’fawta a’nnaa wa ghafar-ta a’nnaa wa ghafar-ta lanaawa rahim-tanaa.
O Allah: (please do) cause this crescent to carry with it for us security and faith and safety and Islam and encompassing good health and repulsion of ailments, and assistance on praying, observing fasting, and doing acts of worship, and on reciting the Qur’an. O Allah: (please do) keep us sound for the month of Ramadan, and accept our deeds during it, and save us during it, Until the month of Ramadan will not elapse Except that You have pardoned us, forgiven us, and had mercy upon us.
اے معبود! اس چاند کو ہمارے لئے امن و امان اور صحت و سلامتی کے ساتھ طلوع کر اور اس ماہ کو ہمارے لئے بہترین آسائش، بیماریوں سے حفاظت، نماز روزے اور مستحبی عبادات بجالانے اور قرآن کی تلاوت کرنے میں مدد گار بنادے اے معبود! ہمیں ماہِ رمضان میں سلامت رکھ اور یہ پورا مہینہ نصیب فرما ہمیں تندرست رکھ جب تک ماہِ رمضان گزر نہ جائے اور تو نے اس میں ہمیں معاف کیا ہو، بخش دیا ہو اور ہم پر مہربانی فرمائی ہو۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
