Aafiyat (short)
عافیت (مختصر)
A short supplication for wellbeing (aafiyat). The reciter asks Allah to place them with Muhammad and the family of Muhammad (the Ahl al-Bayt) in every state of ease and every trial, in every abode and every return. It is recited seeking wellbeing in this world and the next in the company of the Ahl al-Bayt (a).
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِیْ مَعَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ فِیْ كُلِّ عَافِیَۃٍ وَّبَلَآئٍ وَّ اجْعَلْنِیْ مَعَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ فِیْ كُلِّ مَثْوًی وَّمُنْقَلَبٍ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْ مَحْیَایَ مَحْیَا هُمْ وَمَمَاتِیْ مَمَاتَهُمْ۔ وَاجْعَلْنِیْ مَعَهُمْ فِیْ مَوَاطِنَ كُلِّهَا وَلَا تُفَرِّقْ بَیْنِیْ وَبَیْنَهُمْ۔ اِنَّكَ عَلٰی كُلِّ شَیْٓءٍ قَدِیْرٌ۔
Allaahum-maj a’lnee ma’ mohammadiw wa aale mohammadin fee kulle aa’feya-tin wa balaa-in waj-a’lnee ma’ mohammadiw wa aale mohammadin fee kulle maswan wa munqala-bin.
Allaahum-maj a’l mah-yaaya mahyaa hum wa mamaa-tee mamaa-tahum waj-alnee ma’hum fee mawaa-tena kulle-haa walaa to-farriq baiy-nee wa baiyna-hum.
Inna-la a’laa kulle shai-in qadee-run.
O Allah, place me with Muhammad and the family of Muhammad in every state of wellbeing and in every trial, and place me with Muhammad and the family of Muhammad in every abode and every return (every place I dwell and every place I turn back to). O Allah, make my life like their life and my death like their death. Keep me with them in all situations and stations, and do not separate me from them. Surely You have power over all things.
اے اللہ مجھ کو خیریت اور مصیبت میں محمدؐ و آل محمدؑ کے ساتھ قرار دے اور مجھ کو ان کے ہر سکون اور اضطراب میں ان کا (شریک) قرار دے خدایا میری (اخروی) ذندگی ان کی ذندگی کے ساتھ ہو اور میری موت ان کی موت (کے صدقہ) میں ہو (خدایا دیکھ) مجھ کو ہر منزل و موقع پر ان کے ساتھ رکھنا اور ہم میں اور ان حضرات میں جدائی نہ کرنا، بےشک تو ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
