Allahumma antal elahul qadimo
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَنْتَ الْاِلَهُ الْقَدِيْمُ
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَنْتَ الْاِلَهُ الْقَدِيْمُ وَهٰذِهٖ سَنَةٌ جَدِيْدَةٌ فَاَسْاَلُكَ فِيْهَا الْعِصْمَةَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ وَالْقُوَّةَ عَلٰى هٰذِهِ النَّفْسِ الْاَمَّارَةِ بِالسُّوْءِ وَالْاِشْتِغَالَ بِمَا يُقَرِّبُنِيْ اِلَيْكَ يَا كَرِيْمُ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْاِكْرَامِ يَا عِمَادَ مَنْ لَا عِمَادَ لَهٗ يَا ذَخِيْرَةَ مَنْ لَا ذَخِيْرَةَ لَهٗ يَا حِرْزَ مَنْ لَا حِرْزَ لَهٗ يَا غِيَاثَ مَنْ لَا غِيَاثَ لَهٗ يَا سَنَدَ مَنْ لَا سَنَدَ لَهٗ يَا كَنْزَ مَنْ لَا كَنْزَ لَهٗ يَا حَسَنَ الْبَلَاءِ يَا عَظِيْمَ الرَّجَاءِ يَا عِزَّ الضُّعَفَاءِ يَا مُنْقِذَ الْغَرْقَى يَا مُنْجِيَ الْهَلْكٰى يَا مُنْعِمُ يَا مُجْمِلُ يَا مُفْضِلُ يَا مُحْسِنُ، اَنْتَ الَّذِيْ سَجَدَ لَكَ سَوَادُ اللَّيْلِ وَنُوْرُ النَّهَارِ وَضَوْءُ الْقَمَرِ وَ شُعَاعُ الشَّمْسِ وَدَوِيُّ الْمَاءِ وَحَفِيْفُ الشَّجَرِ يَا اَللهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَكَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا خَيْرًا مِمَّا يَظُنُّوْنَ وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا مَا لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ وَلَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا بِمَا يَقُوْلُوْنَ حَسْبِيَ اللهُ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ آمَنَّا بِهٖ كُلٌّ مِّنْ عِنْدِ رَبَّنَا وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ اِلَّا اُوْلُوا الْاَلْبَابِ رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوْبَنَا بَعْدَ اِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ۔
Allaahumma antal ela-hul wa haaze-hi sana-toon jadeeda-toon fa as-aloka fee-hal i’sma-ta me-nash shaitaane wal quwwata a’laa haaze-hin nafsil ammaa-ra-te bis-soo-e wal ishte-ghaala be-maa yo-qarre-bonee ilai-ka yaa kareemo yaa zal-jalaale wal ikraame yaa e’maada lahu yaa zakhira-ta man laa zakhira-ta lahu yaa hirza man laa hirza lahu yaa gheyaa-sa man laa gheyaa-sa lahu.
Yaa sanada man laa sanada lahu yaa kanza man laa kanza lahu yaa hasanal balaa-e yaa a’zee-mar rajaa-e yaa i’zzaz zo-a’faa-e yaa munqe-zal ghar-qa yaa munje-yal halkaa yaa mun-e’mo yaa mujme-lo yaa mufze-lo yaa mohse-no, antal lazee sajada laka sawaa-dul laiy-le wa noorun nahaare wa zaw-ul qamare wa sho-aa’-o’sh shamse wa dawiy-yul maa-e wa hafee-fush shaja-re yaa allaaho laa sahree-ka laka.
Allaahum-maj a’lnaa khairan mimmaa yazun-noona wagh-fir lanaa maa laa ya’lamoo-na wa laa to-aa-khiznaa be-maa yaqoo-loona hasbe-yal laaho laa ilaaha illaa howa a’laihe tawaq-qalto wa howa rabbul a’rshil a’zeeme aa-mannaa behi kulloon min i’nde rabba-naa wa maa yazzak-karo illaa oo-lul al-baabe rabba-naa laa to-zigh qolooba-naa ba’da iz-hadaiy-tanaa wa hab lanaa min la-dunka rahma-tan inna-ka antal wahhaa-bo.
My Allah, Thou art the eternal God, this is the beginning of another new year; I, therefore, request Thee, in this hour, to keep off Satan (Shaitan), to give me control over my "self" inclined to sin and deviation, so that it brings me near Thee, O Compassionate! O the Owner of majesty and kindness! O Supporter of him who has no supporter! O Provider of him who has no provision! O He who watches over him who has no protection! O He who comes to help him who has no hope of help! O Reliance for him who has no one to lean upon! O Treasure of him who has nothing in the purse! O He who knows well how to put to test and trial! O the Ultimate Hope! O the Strength of the weak! O the Rescuer of the drowning! O He who saves from destruction! O He who bestows bounties! O He who shows courtesy and treats with benevolence! O he who treats with kindness and generosity! O He who does favours! Thou art he before whom prostrate in adoration the blackness of the night and the brightness of the day, the moonlight of the moon, the sunlight of the sun, the ripple of the water, the trunks of the trees! O Allah, There is no associate with Thee! O Allah make us generous, good and high-minded, more than that which they can imagine or speculate, cover and escort us with that which they know not, and do not (even) associate us with that which they say. Sufficient is Allah (for me), there is no god save He, on Him I rely, and He is the Lord of the Great Arsh. We believe that all is from our Lord, and do not say (this) save those who have sincere hearts and intelligent minds. Our Lord! Cause not our hearts to stray after Thou has guided us and bestow upon us mercy from Thy Presence. Verily Thou art the Bestower.
اے اللہ! تو معبود ِقدیمی ہے اور یہ نیا سال ہے جو اب آیا ہے پس اس سال کے دوران میں شیطان سے حفاظت کا سوال کرتاہوں اس نفس پر غلبے کا سوال کرتا ہوں جو برائی پر آمادہ کرتا ہے اور یہ کہ مجھے ان کاموں میں لگا جو مجھے تیرے نزدیک کریں اے مہربان اے جلالت اور بزرگی کے مالک اے بے سہاروں کے سہارے اے تنگ دست لوگوں کے خزانے اے بے کسوں کے نگہبان اے بے بسوں کے فریاد رس اے بے حیثیتوں کی حیثیت اے بے خزانہ لوگوں کے خزانے اے بہتر آزمائش کرنے والے اے سب سے بڑی امید اے کمزوروں کی عزت اے ڈوبتوں کو تیرانے والے اے مرتوں کو بچانے والے اے نعمت والےاے جمال والے اے فضل والے اے احسان والے تو وہ ہے جس کو سجدہ کرتے ہیں رات کے اندھیرے دن کے اجالے چاند کی چاندنیاں سورج کی کرنیں پانی کی روانیاں اور درختوں کی سرسراہٹیں اے اللہ تیرا کوئی شریک نہیں۔ اے اللہ ہمیں ویسا بنا جیسا لوگ ہم کو اچھا سمجھتے ہیں ہمارے وہ گناہ بخش جن کو وہ نہیں جانتے اور جو کچھ وہ ہمارے بارے میں کہتے ہیں اس پرہماری گرفت نہ کر اللہ کافی ہے اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں میں اسی پر بھروسہ کرتا ہوں اور وہ عرشِ عظیم کا پروردگار ہے ہمارا ایمان ہے کہ سب کچھ ہمارے رب کی طرف سے ہے اور صاحبان ِعقل کے سوا کوئی نصیحت حاصل نہیں کرتا اے ہمارے رب ہمارے دلوں کو ٹیڑھا نہ ہونے دے جب کہ ہمیں تو نے ہدایت دی ہے اور ہمیں اپنی طرف سے رحمت عطا کر بے شک تو بہت عطا کرنے والا ہے ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
