دُعاء عافیت
A supplication for wellbeing (aafiyat) in the Shia tradition, opening with the salawat for the hastening of the relief (faraj) of the Ahl al-Bayt (a). The reciter seeks Allah’s protection and wellbeing and prays regarding those who wronged the family of the Prophet (s). It is recited in the hope of health, safety and Allah’s care.
Lines marked auto had their transliteration produced from the vowelled Arabic rather than typed by hand, and the Centre’s alim has not read them yet. The Arabic is the text: where the two differ, follow the Arabic.
Supplication for rescue from afflictions.
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ، (يَاۗ اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ)۔
Allaahumma salle a'laa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin wa ajjil faraja-hum, (yaa ar-hamar raahemeena).
O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and hasten their Relief, (O the Merciful of the merciful).
اے معبود!محمد ؐ و آلِ محمدؑ پر رحمت فرما اور ان کے ظہور میں تعجیل عطافرما۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ عُمَّ اَعْدَاۗءَ اٰلِ نَبِيِّكَ وَظَالِمِيْهِمْ وَاَعْدَاۗءَ شِيْعَتِهِمْ، وَاَعْدَاۗءَ مَوَالِيْهِمْ بِالشَّرِّ عَمًّا، وَطُمَّهُمْ بِالشَّرِّ طَمًّا، وَاطْرُقْهُمْ بِلَيْلَةٍ لَا اُخْتَ لَهَا، وَسَاعَةٍ لَامَنْجٰى مِنْهَا، وَانْتَقِمْ مِنْهُمُ انْتِقَامًا عَاجِلًا، وَاَحْرِقْ قُلُوْبَهُمْ بِنَارِ غَضَبِكَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ شَتِّتْ شَمْلَهُمْ، وَفَرِّقْ جَمْعَهُمْ، وَقَلِّبْ تَدْبِيْرَهُمْ، وَنَكِّسْ اَعْلَامَهُمْ، وَخَرِّبْ بُنْيَانَهُمْ، وَقَرِّبْ اٰجَالَهُمْ، وَاَلْقِ بَاْسَهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ، وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنْ بَيْنِهِمْ سَالِمِيْنَ، وَخُذْهُمْ اَخْذَعَزِيْزٍ مُقْتَدِرٍ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اَلْقِ الْاَوْجَاعَ وَالْاَسْقَامَ فِيْ اَبْدَانِهِمْ، وَضَيِّقْ مَسَالِكَهُمْ، وَاسْلُبْهُمْ مَمَالِكَهُمْ، وَحَيِّرْهُمْ فِيْ سُبُلِهِمْ، وَاقْطَعْ عَنْهُمُ الْمَدَدَ، وَانْقُصْ مِنْهُمُ الْعَدَدَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ وَاحْفَظْ مَوَالِيَ اٰلِ بَيْتِ نَبِيِّكَ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ مِنْ شُرُوْرِهِمْ، وَسَلِّمْهُمْ مِنْ مَكْرِهِمْ، وَخَدْعِهِمْ وَضُرِّهِمْ، وَانْصُرْهُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ بِنَصْرِكَ، وَاجْمَعْ كَلِمَتَهُمْ، وَاَلِّفْ جَمْعَهُمْ، وَدَبِّرْ اَمْرَهُمْ، وَعَرِّفْهُمْ ما يَجْهَلُوْنَ، وَعَلِّمْهُمْ مَا لَايَعْلَمُوْنَ، وَبَصِّرْهُمْ مَا لَايُبْصِرُوْنَ، وَاَعْلِ كَلِمَتَهُمْ، وَاجْعَلْهَا الْعُلْيَا، وَاجْعَلْ كَلِمَةَ الْاَعْدَاۗءِ السُّفْلٰى۔
Allaahumma 'umma a'daa'a aali nabiyyika wazaalimeehim waa'daa'a shee'atihim, waa'daa'a mawaaleehim bish-sharri 'amman, watummahum bish-sharri tamman, watruqhum bilaylatin laa ukhta lahaa, wasaa'atin laamanjaa minhaa, wantaqim minhumu antiqaaman 'aajilan, waahriq quloobahum binaari ghadabika.
Allaahumma shattit shamlahum, wafarriq jam'ahum, waqallib tadbeerahum, wanakkis a'laamahum, wakharrib bunyaanahum, waqarrib aajaalahum, wal-qi basahum baynahum, waj'alnaa min baynihim saalimeena, wakhuzhum akhza'azeezin muqtadirin.
Allaahumma al-qi al-awjaa'a wal-asqaama fee abdaanihim, wadayyiq masaalikahum, waslubhum mamaalikahum, wahayyirhum fee subulihim, waqta' 'anhumu al-madada, wanqus minhumu al-'adada.
Allaahumma wahfaz mawaaliya aali bayti nabiyyika 'alayhimu as-salaamu min shuroorihim, wasallimhum min makrihim, wakhad'ihim wadurrihim, wansurhum 'alayhim binasrika, wajma' kalimatahum, waallif jam'ahum, wadabbir amrahum, wa'arrifhum m yajhaloona, wa'allimhum maa laaya'lamoona, wabassirhum maa laayubsiroona, waa'li kalimatahum, waj'alhaa al-'ulyaa, waj'al kalimata al-a'daa'i as-suflaa. auto
O Allah encompass the enemies of the families of Your Prophet and those that oppressed them and the enemies of their followers and enemies of those that gave allegiance to them with entire evil, and overflow them with evil, and silent them with unbearable night and with unsaved time and quickly retaliate from them and burn their heart with the wrath of Your Hell fire. O Allah! Scattered their unity, disunite their gatherings, change their plans, turn their banners upside down, destroy their homes and make their life span very near, let their afflictions between themselves, and let us be free from them and held them with intensive responsibility. O Allah! Impose sufferings and illness on their body and tighten their means of sustenance and deprive them of their properties, and distract them of their way and cut Your assistance from them and reduce their population. O Allah! Protect the followers of the household of Your Prophet peace be on them from their evils, and free them from their plots, deceits and afflictions. Help them with Your Grace and unite their words and their gatherings, administer their affairs and teach them what is known to them, let them see what is unseen to them, elevate their words and make it very exalted and make very low the words of the enemies.
اے اللہ! اپنے نبیؐ کی آل کے دشمنوں پر، ان پر ظلم کرنے والوں پر، اور ان کے شیعوں اور دوستوں کے دشمنوں پر ہر طرف سے شر نازل فرما۔ انہیں شر میں پوری طرح ڈبو دے، اور ان پر ایسی رات لا جس کی کوئی مثال نہ ہو، اور ایسی گھڑی مسلط کر دے جس سے کوئی بچ نکلنے والا نہ ہو۔ ان سے فوراً اور سخت انتقام لے، اور ان کے دلوں کو اپنے غضب کی آگ سے جلا دے۔ اے اللہ! ان کی شیرازہ بندی کو بکھیر دے، ان کی جمعیت کو منتشر کر دے، ان کی تدبیروں کو الٹ دے، ان کے جھنڈوں کو سرنگوں کر دے، ان کی بنیادوں کو تباہ کر دے، اور ان کی موتوں کو قریب کر دے۔ ان کے درمیان آپس کی لڑائی ڈال دے، اور ہمیں ان کے درمیان سے سلامتی کے ساتھ محفوظ رکھ۔ اور انہیں اس طرح پکڑ جیسے ایک غالب اور مکمل اقتدار رکھنے والا پکڑتا ہے۔ اے اللہ! ان کے جسموں میں درد اور بیماریاں ڈال دے، ان کے راستے تنگ کر دے، ان کی سلطنتیں اور اقتدار چھین لے، انہیں اپنی راہوں میں حیران و سرگرداں کر دے، ان کی مدد کے تمام وسائل کاٹ دے، اور ان کی تعداد کم کر دے۔ اے اللہ! اپنے نبیؐ کے اہلِ بیتؑ کے دوستوں کو ان کے شر سے محفوظ رکھ، انہیں ان کے مکر، فریب اور نقصان سے سلامت رکھ، اور اپنی نصرت کے ذریعے انہیں ان پر غالب فرما۔ ان کی بات کو جمع کر دے، ان کے درمیان اتحاد پیدا فرما، ان کے معاملات کی تدبیر فرما، اور انہیں وہ چیزیں سمجھا دے جن سے وہ ناواقف ہیں۔ انہیں وہ علم عطا فرما جو وہ نہیں جانتے، اور انہیں وہ بصیرت دے جو وہ نہیں رکھتے۔ اور اے اللہ! ان کی بات کو بلند ترین بنا دے، اور دشمنوں کی بات کو سب سے نیچی کر دے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
