Maarefat-e-Sagheer
دُعاء معرفت صغیر
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَنْتَ عَرَّفْتَنِيْ نَفْسَكَ، وَعَرَّفْتَنِيْ رَسُوْلَكَ، وَعَرَّفْتَنِيْ مَلَاۗئِكَتَكَ وَعَرَّفْتَنِيْ نَبِيَّكَ، وَعَرَّفْتَنِيْ وُلَاةَ اَمْرِكَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا اٰخِذَ اِلَّا مَا اَعْطَيْتَ، وَلَا وَاقِيَ اِلَّا مَا وَقَيْتَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ لَاتُغَيِّبْنِيْ عَنْ مَنَازِلِ اَوْلِيَاۗئِكَ، وَلَاتُزِغْ قَلْبِيْ بَعْدَ اِذْ هَدَيْتَنِيْ۔اَللّٰهُمَّ اهْدِنِيْ لِوِلَايَةِ مَنِ افْتَرَضْتَ طَاعَتَهُ۔
Allaahumma anta a’rraf-tanee naf-saka, wa a’rraf-tanee rasoo-laka, wa a’rraf-tanee malaaa-e-kate-ka, wa a’rraf-tanee nabiyye-ka, wa a’rraf-tanee wolaa-ta amreka.
Allaahumma laa aa-kheza illaa maa a’taiy-ta, wa laa waa-qiyya illaa maa wa qaiy-ta.
Allaahumma laa to-ghaiyyib-nee a’n manaa-zele awliyaaa-e-ka, wa laa to-zigh qalbee ba’da iz-hadaiy-tanee.
Allaahum-mah-denee le wilaayate manif taraz-ta taa-a’ta-hu.
O Allah! You have defined Yourself to me and have defined Your Messenger to me, You have defined Your Angels to me, You have defined Your Prophets to me and You have defined to me the leaders of Your affairs. O Allah! No one shall take except from what You have given, no one is rescued except those You have preserved. O Allah! Don’t deprive me from the rank of Your intimate friends, and don’t change my mind after being guided. O Allah! Guide me to the guardianship of those you have make incumbent for me to follow.
اے اللہ! تو نے مجھے اپنی معرفت عطا فرمائی، اور تو نے مجھے اپنے رسولؐ کی پہچان دی، اور تو نے مجھے اپنے فرشتوں کی پہچان کرائی، اور تو نے مجھے اپنے نبیؐ کی معرفت عطا فرمائی، اور تو نے مجھے اپنے امر کے والیوں کی پہچان دی۔ اے اللہ! دینے والا کوئی نہیں مگر وہی جو تو عطا کرے، اور بچانے والا کوئی نہیں مگر وہی جسے تو حفاظت میں رکھے۔ اے اللہ! مجھے اپنے اولیاء کے مقامات سے غافل یا محروم نہ کرنا، اور ہدایت دینے کے بعد میرے دل کو کج نہ کرنا۔ اے اللہ! مجھے اُس کی ولایت کی ہدایت عطا فرما جس کی اطاعت تو نے مجھ پر فرض قرار دی ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
