تحفۃ الزائر میں امام جعفر صادقؑ سے مروی ہے :کسی مومن کو جب کوئی حاجت درپیش ہو یا کسی معاملے میں خوف لاحق ہو تو وہ ایک کاغذ پر یہ عبارت لکھے۔ لفظ کذا و کذا کے بجائے اپنی حاجت کا تذکرہ کرے پھر اس کاغذ کو مٹی میں لپیٹ کر آبِ جاری یا کنویں میں ڈال دے۔ انشاء اللہ خداوند کریم جلد ہی یہ حاجت پوری فرمادے گا۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَتَوَجَّهُ اِلَيْكَ بِاَحَبِّ الْاَسْمَآءِ اِلَيْكَ وَاَعْظَمِهَا لَدَيْكَ وَاَتَقَرَّبُ وَاَتَوَسَّلُ اِلَيْكَ بِمَنْ اَوْجَبْتَ حَقَّهٗ عَلَيْكَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلِيٍّ وَفَاطِمَةَ وَالْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ وَجَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَمُوْسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ مُوْسٰى وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَالْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ وَالْحُجَّةِ الْمُنْتَظَرِ صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِمْ اَجْمَعِيْنَ اكْفِنِيْ۔۔۔
Allaahumma innee atawajjahu ilayka bi-ahabbi al-asmaa'i ilayka wa-a'zamihaa ladayka wa-ataqarrabu wa-atawassalu ilayka biman awjabta haqqahoo 'alayka bimuhammadin wa'aliyyin wafaatimata wal-hasani wal-husayni wa'aliyyi ibni al-husayni wamuhammadi ibni 'aliyyin waja'fari ibni muhammadin wamoosaa ibni ja'farin wa'aliyyi ibni moosaa wamuhammadi ibni 'aliyyin wa'aliyyi ibni muhammadin wal-hasani ibni 'aliyyin wal-hujjati al-muntazari salawaatu allaahi 'alayhim ajma'eena ikfinee...
O Allah, I turn to You by the dearest of names to You and the greatest of them in Your sight. And I seek nearness to You and I beseech You through those whose right You have made obligatory upon Yourself: through Muhammad, Ali, Fatimah, Hasan, Husayn, Ali son of Husayn, Muhammad son of Ali, Ja‘far son of Muhammad, Musa son of Ja‘far, Ali son of Musa, Muhammad son of Ali, Ali son of Muhammad, Hasan son of Ali, and the Awaited Proof (al-Hujjah al-Muntazar) may Allah’s blessings be upon them all suffice me / protect me / take care of my need…
اے معبود! میں تیری طرف آیا ہوں تیرے سب سے پسندیدہ نام کے واسطے سےجو تیرے نزدیک سب ناموں سے عظیم ہے تیرا تقرب چاہا اور تیرے حضور وسیلہ بنایا ہے اس کو جس کا حق تو نے خود پر لازم ٹھہرایا وسیلہ بنایاہے محمدؐ، علیؑ ، فاطمہؑ ، حسنؑ ، حسینؑ ، کو اور وسیلہ بنایا ہے علیؑ ابن الحسینؑ، محمدؑ ابن علیؑ، جعفرؑ ابن محمدؑ کو اور موؑسیٰ ابن جعفرؑ، علیؑ ابن موسیٰؑ،محمدؑا بن علیؑ، علیؑ ابن محمدؑ اور حسنؑ ابن علیؑ کو اور وسیلہ بنایا ہے حجتِ منتظرؑ کو خدا کا درود ہو ان سب معصومینؑ پر خدایا! میرا یہ اور یہ کام بنا دے۔۔۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
