بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلہِ الَّذِیْ قَرَنَ رَجَآئِیْ بِعَفْوِہٖ وَفَسَحَ اَمَلِیْ بِحُسْنِ تَجَاوُزِہٖ وَصَفْحِہٖ وَقَوّٰی مَتْنِیْ وَظَہْرِیْ وَسَاعِدِیْ وَیَدِیْ بِمَا عَرَّفَنِیْ مِنْ جُوْدِہٖ وَکَرَمِہٖ وَلَمْ یُخْلِنِیْ مَعَ مَقَامِیْ عَلٰی مَعْصِیَتِہٖ وَتَقْصِیْرِیْ فِیْ طَاعَتِہٖ وَمَا یُحِقُّ عَلَیَّ مِنْ اِعْتِقَادِ خَشْیَتِہٖ وَاِسْتِشْعَارِ خِیْفَتِہٖ مِنْ تَوَاتُرِ مِنَنِہٖ وَتَظَاہُرِ نِعَمِہٖ۔
Al-hamdu lillaahi allazee qarana rajaa'ee bi'afwihee wafasaha amalee bihusni tajaawuzihee wasafhihee waqawwaa matnee wazahree wasaa'idee wayadee bimaa 'arrafanee min joodihee wakaramihee walam yukhlinee ma'a maqaamee 'alaa ma'siyatihee wataqseeree fee taa'atihee wamaa yuhiqqu 'alayya min i'tiqaadi khashyatihee wa-istish'aari kheefatihee min tawaaturi minanihee watazaahuri ni'amih.
All praise belongs to Allah, Who has joined my hope to His pardon and widened my expectation through His gracious overlooking and forgiveness; Who has strengthened my back, my spine, my arm and my hand through the generosity and kindness of His that He has made known to me; and Who, despite my persisting in disobedience to Him, my falling short in obedience to Him, and my failing in the fear and awe of Him that are my due, has not left me bereft of the continuous succession of His favours and the abundance of His blessings.
اس اللہ کی مکمل حمد جس نے میری امیدوں کو اپنی معافیوں سے وابستہ کر دیا، اور اپنے کرم و حسن درگذر سے آرزوؤں کو پھیلا دیا، اپنے جود و کرم کی معرفت عطا کر کے میری پشت و کمر، دست و بازو کو قوی فرمایا، اور مجھے اس وقت بھی اپنے مسلسل احسانات اور کھلم کھلا انعامات سے خالی نہ چھوڑا جب کہ میں گناہوں پر ثابت قدم رہا (اور) اطاعتوں میں کوتاہیاں کیں، خوفِ خدا کا یقین، اور اس کی ہیبت کے تصوّر کا حق بھی ادا نہ کیا۔
وَ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ الَّذِیْ یَتَوَکَّلُ کُلُّ مُؤْمِنٍ عَلَیْہِ وَیَضْطَرُّ کُلُّ حَاجَۃٍ اِلَیْہِ وَلَا یَسْتَغْنِیْ اَحَدٌ اِلَّا بِفَضْلِ مَا لَدَیْہِ وَلَآ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللهُ الْمُقِیْلُ عَلٰی مَنْ اَعْرَضَ عَنْ ذِکْرِہِ التَّوَّابُ عَلٰی مَنْ تَابَ اِلَیْہِ مِنْ عَظِیْمِ ذَنْۢبِہِ السَّاخِطُ عَلٰی مَنْ قَنَطَ مِنْ وَاسِعِ رَحْمَتِہٖ وَیَئِسَ مِنْ عَاجِلِ رَوْحِہٖ وَاللهُ اَکْبَرُ خَالِقُ کُلِّ شَیْءٍ وَمَالِکُہُ وَمُبِیْدُ کُلِّ شَیْءٍ وَمُہْلِکُہٗ وَاللهُ اَکْبَرُ کَبِیْرًا کَمَا ہُوَ اَہْلُہٗ وَ مُسْتَحِقُّہٗ۔
Wa subhaana allaahi allazee yatawakkalu kullu mu'minin 'alayhi wayadtarru kullu haajatin ilayhi walaa yastaghnee ahadun illaa bifadli maa ladayhi walaa ilaaha illaa allaahu al-muqeelu 'alaa man a'rada 'an zikrihi at-tawwaabu 'alaa man taaba ilayhi min 'azeemi zanbihi as-saakhitu 'alaa man qanata min waasi'i rahmatihee waya'isa min 'aajili rawhihee wallaahu akbaru khaaliqu kulli shay'in wamaalikuhu wamubeedu kulli shay'in wamuhlikuhoo wallaahu akbaru kabeeran kamaa huwa ahluhoo wa mustahiqquh.
And glory be to Allah, upon Whom every believer relies, to Whom every need is driven, and none becomes free of need except by the bounty of what is with Him. There is no god but Allah, Who overlooks the faults of the one who turns away from His remembrance, Who turns in mercy to the one who repents to Him of his great sin, and Who is angry with the one who despairs of His vast mercy and loses hope of His speedy relief. And Allah is the Greatest, the Creator and Owner of everything, Who makes everything perish and destroys it. And Allah is greatly the Greatest, as He is worthy of it and deserves it.
وہ خدا پاک ہے جس پر ہر مؤمن توکل کرتا، اور ہر ضرورت میں بےچین ہو کر اس سے لو لگاتا ہے۔ اس کے فضل خاص کے بغیر کوئی بھی اس سے مستغنی نہیں۔ اس اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں جو اپنی یاد سے روگردانی کرنے والے سے چشم پوشی کرتا ہے، جو عظیم ترین گناہ پر توبہ کرنے والے کی توبہ قبول کرتا ہے، جو اس کی وسیع رحمت اور فوری راحتوں سے مایوس ہوتا ہے اس پر ناراض ہوتا ہے، اور اللہ بہت بزرگ و برتر ہے، ہر شئے کا خالق و مالک، ہر چیز کا تباہ و فنا کرنے والا، اور اللہ بلند ہے، جو بلندی اس کے شایانِ شان اور جس کا وہ مستحق ہے۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِکَ وَنَبِیِّکَ وَرَسُوْلِکَ وَاَمِیْنِکَ وَشَاہِدِکَ التَّقِیِّ النَّقِیِّ وَعَلٰی اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ الطَّیِّبِیْنَ الطَّاہِرِیْنَ۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُکَ سُؤَالَ مُعْتَرِفٍ بِذَنْۢبِہٖ نَادِمٍ عَلٰی اِقْتِرَافِ تَبِعَتِہٖ وَاَنْتَ اَوْلٰی مَنِ اعْتُمِدَ وَعَفَا وَجَادَ بِالْمَغْفِرَۃِ مَنْ ظَلَمَ وَاَسَآءَ فَقَدْ اَوْبَقَتْنِیْ الذُّنُوْبُ فِیْ مَہَاوِی الْہَلَکَۃِ وَاَحَاطَتْ بِیَ الْاٰثَامُ وَبَقِیْتُ غَیْرَ مُسْتَقِلٍّ بِہَا وَاَنْتَ الْمُرْتَجٰی وَعَلَیْکَ الْمُعَوَّلُ فِی الشِّدَّۃِ وَالرَّخَآءِ وَاَنْتَ مَلْجَاُ الْخَآئِفِ الْغَرِیْقِ وَاَرْئَفُ مِنْ کُلِّ شَفِیْقٍ وَاِلَیْکَ قَصَدْتُ سَیِّدِیْ وَاَنْتَ مُنْتَہَی الْقَصْدِ لِلْقَاصِدِیْنَ وَاَرْحَمُ مَنِ اسْتُرْحِمَ فِیْ تَجَاوُزِکَ عَنِ الْمُذْنِبِیْنَ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin 'abdika wanabiyyika warasoolika wa-ameenika washaahidika at-taqiyyi an-naqiyyi wa'alaa aali muhammadin at-tayyibeena at-taahireen.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka su'aala mu'tarifin bizanbihee naadimin 'alaa iqtiraafi tabi'atihee wa-anta awlaa mani u'tumida wa'afaa wajaada bil-maghfirati man zalama wa-asaa'a faqad awbaqatnee az-zunoobu fee mahaawee al-halakati wa-ahaatat biya al-aathaamu wabaqeetu ghayra mustaqillin bihaa wa-anta al-murtajaa wa'alayka al-mu'awwalu fee ash-shiddati war-rakhaa'i wa-anta malja'u al-khaa'ifi al-ghareeqi wa-ar'afu min kulli shafeeqin wa-ilayka qasadtu sayyidee wa-anta muntahaa al-qasdi lil-qaasideena wa-arhamu mani usturhima fee tajaawuzika 'ani al-muznibeen.
O Allah! Send blessings upon Mohammad (s.a.w.a), Your servant, Your Prophet, Your Messenger, Your trustee and Your witness, the God-fearing, the pure, and upon the Progeny (a.s) of Mohammad, the good, the pure. O Allah! I ask You with the asking of one who confesses his sin and regrets having incurred its consequences; and You are the most worthy of anyone to be relied upon, to pardon, and to be generous with forgiveness to whoever has done wrong and evil. Sins have destroyed me in the depths of perdition, offences have surrounded me, and I am left unable to bear them; and You are the One hoped for, the One relied upon in hardship and ease, the refuge of the frightened and the drowning, and kinder than every kind one. To You I have made my way, my Master, and You are the utmost goal of all who seek, and the most merciful of those whose mercy is sought, in Your overlooking of sinners.
خداوندا! حضرت محمد مصطفٰیؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما کہ وہ تیرے عبدِ خاص، نبی، رسول، امین، گواہ، پاک و پاکیزہ ہیں، نیز آنحضرت کی طیب و طاہر اولادؑ پر۔ خداوندا! گناہوں کا اعتراف، بد کاریوں کا پیچھا کر کے نادم ہونے والے کی طرح مانگتا ہوں، اور تو قابل اعتماد معاف کرنے والوں، اور مغفرت عطا کرنے والوں میں، غلط کار و بد کار کے لئے سب سے بہتر ہے، کیونکہ گناہوں نے ہلاکت کے گہرے گڑھوں میں دھکیل دیا ہے، اور تقصیروں نے گھیر رکھا ہے۔ اب یہ حالت ہے کہ ان گناہوں کو حقیر نہیں مانتا، اور توہی اُمید گاہ ہے، تیرے ہی اُوپر سختی و آسانی میں بھروسہ ہے، تو ہی خوف زدہ ڈوبنے والے کی پناہ گاہ، اور ہر مہر بان سے زیادہ مہر بان ہے۔ اے میرے مالک تیری طرف توجہ کیئے حاضر ہوں، کیونکہ مسافرانِ طلب کی انتہا تو ہے، اور گنہگاروں کے لئے در گذر کی درخواست قبول کئے جانے والوں میں سب سے زیادہ مہربان ہے۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ اَنْتَ الَّذِیْ لَا یَتَعَاظَمُکَ غُفْرَانُ الذُّنُوْبِ وَکَشْفُ الْکُرُوْبِ وَاَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُیُوْبِ وَسَتَّارُ الْعُیُوْبِ وَکَشَّافُ الْکُرُوْبِ لِاَنَّکَ الْبَاقِی الرَّحِیْمُ الَّذِیْ تَسَرْبَلْتَ بِالرُّبُوْبِیَّۃِ وَتَوَحَّدْتَ بِالْاِلٰہِیَّۃِ وَتَنَزَّہْتَ بِالْحَیْثُوْثِیَّۃِ فَلَمْ یَجِدْکَ وَاصِفٌ مَحْدُوْدًا بِالْکَیْفُوْفِیَّۃِ وَلَا تَقَعُ فِی الْاَوْہَامِ بِالْمَآئِیَّۃِ وَالْحَیْنُوْنِیَّۃِ فَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ نَعْمَآئِکَ عَلَی الْاَنَامِ وَلَکَ الشُّکْرُ عَلٰی کُرُوْرِ اللَّیَالِیْ وَالْاَیَّامِ۔
Allaahumma anta allazee laa yata'aazamuka ghufraanu az-zunoobi wakashfu al-kuroobi wa-anta 'allaamu al-ghuyoobi wasattaaru al-'uyoobi wakashshaafu al-kuroobi li-annaka al-baaqee ar-raheemu allazee tasarbalta bir-ruboobiyyati watawahhadta bil-ilaahiyyati watanazzahta bil-haythoothiyyati falam yajidka waasifun mahdoodan bil-kayfoofiyyati walaa taqa'u fee al-awhaami bil-maa'iyyati wal-haynooniyyati falaka al-hamdu 'adada na'maa'ika 'alaa al-anaami walaka ash-shukru 'alaa kuroori al-layaalee wal-ayyaam.
O Allah! You are He for Whom forgiving sins and removing distress is no great matter, and You are the Knower of the unseen, the Coverer of faults and the Remover of distress; for You are the Everlasting, the Merciful, Who have robed Yourself in Lordship, are alone in Divinity and are far above any "where"; so no describer has found You bounded by a "how", and You do not enter imaginations by a "what" or a "when". So Yours is the praise, as many as Your blessings upon mankind, and Yours is the thanks, through the passing of the nights and the days.
خداوندا! گناہوں کی مغفرت اور غموں کا دفعیہ تجھے دشوار نہیں، حالانکہ تو غیب کی باتوں کو اچھی طرح جاننے والا، عیبوں کا پردہ پوش، تکلیفوں کو دور کرنے والا ہے، کیونکہ توہی وہ باقی و رحیم ہے جس نے ربوبیت کا خلعت، اور الوہیت کی یکتائی اپنا لی ہے، اب تو حیثیتوں کی نوعیت سے پاک ہے، اس لئے کوئی صفت بیان کرنے والا تجھے کیفیتوں کے ذریعے محدود نہیں پا سکتا، انسانی واہموں میں بھی وہ حقیقت و زمانیات کے ساتھ نہیں آ سکتا، لوگوں پر تیری نعمتوں کی تعداد میں تیری حمد، رات و دن کی گردشوں کی تعداد میں تیرا شکر۔
اِلٰہِیْ بِیَدِکَ الْخَیْرُ وَاَنْتَ وَلِیُّہٗ مُنِیْحُ الرَّغَآئِبِ وَغَایَۃُ الْمَطَالِبِ اَتَقَرَّبُ اِلَیْکَ بِسَعَۃِ رَحْمَتِکَ الَّتِیْ وَسِعَتْ کُلَّ شَیْءٍ فَقَدْ تَرٰی یَا رَبِّ مَکَانِیْ وَتَطَّلِعُ عَلٰی ضَمِیْرِیْ وَتَعْلَمُ سِرِّیْ وَلَا یَخْفٰی عَلَیْکَ اَمْرِیْ وَاَنْتَ اَقْرَبُ اِلَیَّ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِیْدِ فَتُبْ عَلَیَّ تَوْبَۃً لَا اَعُوْدُ بَعْدَہَا فِیْمَا یُسْخِطُکَ وَاغْفِرْ لِیْ مَغْفِرَۃً لَا اَرْجِعُ مَعَہَا اِلٰی مَعْصِیَتِکَ یَا اَکْرَمَ الْاَکْرَمِیْنَ۔
Ilaahee biyadika al-khayru wa-anta waliyyuhoo muneehu ar-raghaa'ibi waghaayatu al-mataalibi ataqarrabu ilayka bisa'ati rahmatika allatee wasi'at kulla shay'in faqad taraa yaa rabbi makaanee watattali'u 'alaa dameeree wata'lamu sirree walaa yakhfaa 'alayka amree wa-anta aqrabu ilayya min habli al-wareedi fatub 'alayya tawbatan laa a'oodu ba'dahaa feemaa yuskhituka waghfir lee maghfiratan laa arji'u ma'ahaa ilaa ma'siyatika yaa akrama al-akrameen.
My God! In Your hand is all good, and You are its Master, the Granter of desired things and the utmost end of all requests. I seek nearness to You through the vastness of Your mercy, which embraces all things. You see my place, O Lord, You look into my heart, You know my secret, nothing of my affair is hidden from You, and You are nearer to me than my jugular vein. So turn to me in mercy, that I may never return afterwards to what angers You, and forgive me with a forgiveness after which I shall not go back to disobeying You, O Most Generous of the generous!
(اے) میرے معبود! تمام نیکیاں تیرے قبضہٴ قدرت میں ہیں اور توہی ان کا مالک، پسندیدہ نعمتوں کا عطا کرنے والا، مقصدوں کی انتہا ہے، میں تیری اس رحمت کی وسعتوں کا صدقہ دے کر تجھ سے تقرّب چاہتا ہوں، جس میں ہر شئے کی گنجائش ہے۔ اے پروردگار! تو میری منزل کو دیکھ رہا ہے، میرے دل سے واقف ہے تیرے اُوپر میرے بھید مخفی نہیں، اور تو میری رگِ گردن سے زیادہ مجھ سے قریب ہے، اس لئے میری توبہ قبول فرما کہ اس کے بعد وہ عمل دوبارہ نہ کروں، جس سے تو ناراض ہو، اور مجھے اس مغفرت سے سرفراز فرما جس کے ہوتے ہوئے تیری کسی اور معصیت میں مبتلا نہ ہوں، اے کرم کرنے والوں میں سب سے زیادہ صاحبِ کرم۔
اِلٰہِیْ اَنْتَ الَّذِیْ اَصْلَحْتَ قُلُوْبَ الْمُفْسِدِیْنَ فَصَلَحَتْ بِاِصْلَاحِکَ اِیَّاہَا فَاَصْلِحْنِیْ بِاِصْلَاحِکَ وَاَنْتَ الَّذِیْ مَنَنْتَ عَلَی الضَّآلِّیْنَ فَہَدَیْتَہُمْ بِرُشْدِکَ عَنِ الضَّلَالَۃِ وَعَلَی الْجَاحِدِیْنَ عَنْ قَصْدِکَ فَسَدَّدْتَہُمْ وَقَوَّمْتَ مِنْہُمْ عَثْرَ الزَّلَلِ فَمَنَحْتَہُمْ مَحَبَّتَکَ وَجَنَّبْتَہُمْ مَعْصِیَتَکَ وَاَدْرَجْتَہُمْ دَرَجَ الْمَغْفُوْرِ لَہُمْ وَاَحْلَلْتَہُمْ مَحَلَّ الْفَآئِزِیْنَ فَاَسْئَلُکَ یَا مَوْلَایَ اَنْ تُلْحِقَنِیْ بِہِمْ یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ۔
Ilaahee anta allazee aslahta qulooba al-mufsideena fasalahat bi-islaahika iyyaahaa fa-aslihnee bi-islaahika wa-anta allazee mananta 'alaa ad-daalleena fahadaytahum birushdika 'ani ad-dalaalati wa'alaa al-jaahideena 'an qasdika fasaddadtahum waqawwamta minhum 'athra az-zalali famanahtahum mahabbataka wajannabtahum ma'siyataka wa-adrajtahum daraja al-maghfoori lahum wa-ahlaltahum mahalla al-faa'izeena fa-as'aluka yaa mawlaaya an tulhiqanee bihim yaa arhama ar-raahimeen.
My God! You are He Who set right the hearts of the corrupt, and they were set right by Your setting them right; so set me right by Your setting right. And You are He Who showed favour to those astray and guided them by Your guidance out of error, and to those who turned from Your path, and You set them right and straightened their stumbling slips; You granted them Your love, kept them away from disobeying You, raised them to the rank of those forgiven and settled them in the station of the triumphant. So I ask You, O my Master, to join me to them, O Most Merciful of the merciful!
اے میرے معبود! تو نے فساد پسند لوگوں کے دلوں کی اصلاح کی، اس لئے وہ اصلاح پذیر ہو گئے، اور توہی ہے کہ گمراہوں پر احسان کر کے اپنی راہنمائی سے ہدایت یافتہ کیا، اور اپنی راہ مستقیم سے بھٹکے ہوؤں کو استوار کیا، ان کی غلط کارانہ لغزشوں کو درست کیا، انہیں اپنی محبت عطا فرمائی، اپنی نا فرمانیوں سے بچایا، مغفرت یافتہ لوگوں کا درجہ عطا کیا، انہیں کامیاب لوگوں کی منزلوں میں اُتارا، اے مولا، اے رحم کرنے والوں میں سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے، مجھے بھی ان لوگوں سے منسلک کر دے۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُکَ اَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاَنْ تَرْزُقَنِیْ رِزْقًا وَاسِعًا حَلٰلًا طَیِّبًا فِیْ عَافِیَۃٍ وَعَمَلًا یُقَرِّبُ اِلَیْکَ یَا خَیْرَ مَسْئُوْلٍ۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ وَاَتَضَرَّعُ اِلَیْکَ ضَرَاعَۃَ مُقِرٍّ عَلٰی نَفْسِہٖ بِالْہَفَوَاتِ اَتُوْبُ اِلَیْکَ یَا تَوَّابُ فَلَا تَرُدَّنِیْ خَآئِبًا مِنْ جَزِیْلِ عَطَآئِکَ یَا وَہَّابُ فَقَدِیْمًا جُدْتَ عَلَی الْمُذْنِبِیْنَ بِالْمَغْفِرَۃِ وَسَتَرْتَ عَلٰی عَبِیْدِکَ قَبِیْحَاتِ الْفِعَالِ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka an tusalliya 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammadin wa-an tarzuqanee rizqan waasi'an halaalan tayyiban fee 'aafiyatin wa'amalan yuqarribu ilayka yaa khayra mas'ool.
Allaahumma wa-atadarra'u ilayka daraa'ata muqirrin 'alaa nafsihee bil-hafawaati atoobu ilayka yaa tawwaabu falaa taruddanee khaa'iban min jazeeli 'ataa'ika yaa wahhaabu faqadeeman judta 'alaa al-muznibeena bil-maghfirati wasatarta 'alaa 'abeedika qabeehaati al-fi'aal.
O Allah! I ask You to send blessings upon Mohammad (s.a.w.a) and the Progeny (a.s) of Mohammad, and to grant me a vast, lawful and good sustenance in well-being, and deeds that bring me near to You, O Best of those who are asked! O Allah! I humble myself before You with the humility of one who confesses his own lapses. I repent to You, O Acceptor of repentance, so do not turn me back disappointed of Your abundant giving, O Bestower; for since of old You have been generous to sinners with forgiveness, and have covered the ugly deeds of Your servants.
خداوندا! اے سب سے بہتر قابل سوال، میں چاہتا ہوں کہ تو محمدؐ و آلِ محمدؑ پر درود بھیج اور مجھے کشادہ، حلال و طیّب و با عافیت روزی عطا فرما، اور ایسے عمل کی توفیق دے جو مجھے تجھ سے قریب کر دے۔ خداوندا! میں اس اظہارِ عاجزی کرنے والے کی طرح عاجزی کا اظہار کرتا ہوں، جس نے اپنے خلاف لغزشوں کو مان لیا ہو، اے توبہ قبول کرنے والے میں تجھ سے توبہ کرتا ہوں، اے بہت زیادہ انعام دینے والے، مجھے اپنے گراں بہا عطیوں سے ناکام واپس نہ کرنا، کیونکہ تو ہمیشہ سے گنہگاروں کے ساتھ مغفرت سے پیش آتا ہے، اپنے حقیر بندوں کے بُرے اعمال کو چھپاتا ہے۔
یَا جَلِیْلُ یَا مُتَعَالُ اَتَوَجَّہُ اِلَیْکَ بِمَنْ اَوْجَبْتَ حَقَّہٗ عَلَیَّ اِذْ لَمْ یَکُنْ لِیْ مِنَ الْخَیْرِ مَا اَتَوَجَّہُ بِہٖ اِلَیْکَ وَحَالَتِ الذُّنُوْبُ بَیْنِیْ وَبَیْنَ الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ وَاِذْ لَمْ یُوْجِبْ لِیْ عَمَلِیْ مُرَافَقَۃَ النَّبِیّٖنَ فَلَا تَرُدَّ سَیِّدِیْ تَوَجُّہِیْ بِمَنْ تَوَجَّہْتُ اَتَخْذُلُنِیْ رَبِّیْ وَاَنْتَ اَمَلِیْ؟ اَمْ تَرُدُّ یَدِیْ صِفْرًا مِنَ الْعَفْوِ وَاَنْتَ مُنْتَہٰی رَغْبَتِیْ! یَا مَنْ ہُوَ مَوْجُوْدٌ مَوْصُوْفٌ مَعْرُوْفٌ بِالْجُوْدِ وَالْخَلْقِ لَہٗ عَبِیْدٌ وَاِلَیْہِ مَرَدُّ الْاُمُوْرِ۔
Yaa jaleelu yaa muta'aalu atawajjahu ilayka biman awjabta haqqahoo 'alayya iz lam yakun lee mina al-khayri maa atawajjahu bihee ilayka wahaalati az-zunoobu baynee wabayna al-muhsineena wa-iz lam yoojib lee 'amalee muraafaqata an-nabiyyeena falaa tarudda sayyidee tawajjuhee biman tawajjahtu atakhzulunee rabbee wa-anta amalee?
Am taruddu yadee sifran mina al-'afwi wa-anta muntahaa raghbatee!
Yaa man huwa mawjoodun mawsoofun ma'roofun bil-joodi wal-khalqi lahoo 'abeedun wa-ilayhi maraddu al-umoor.
O Majestic! O Most High! I turn to You through the one whose right You have made obligatory upon me, since I have no good with which to turn to You, sins have come between me and the doers of good, and my deeds have not earned me the company of the prophets. So do not turn back, my Master, my turning to You through those through whom I have turned. Will You forsake me, my Lord, when You are my hope? Or will You return my hand empty of pardon, when You are the utmost of my longing? O He Who is present, described and known for generosity, Whose servants all creation are, and to Whom all affairs return!
اے جلیل القدر و بلند منزلت معبود! میں تیری بارگاہ کا رخ کیئے ہوں، مگر اس کے سہارے جس کا حق تونے مجھ پر واجب کیا ہے، کیونکہ میرے پاس کوئی ایسی اچھی چیز نہیں جسے لے کر تیرے حضور میں حاضر ہوں۔ گناہ میرے اور نیک عمل لوگوں کے درمیان میں پردہ بنے ہوئے ہیں، اور چونکہ میرے عمل اس قابل نہیں کہ پیغمبروں کا ہم نشین بن سکوں اس لئے میرے مولا، جن لوگوں کے سہارے میں نے تیرا رُخ کیا ہے انہی کے واسطے میری اس توجہ کو رد نہ فرما، میرے پروردگار! کیا تو مجھے ناکام لوٹا دے گا، حالانکہ تو میری آرزو ہے، کیا اپنی معافی کے بغیر خالی ہاتھ واپس کر دے گا، حالانکہ تو میرا انتہائے آرزو ہے، اے وہ کہ موجود و موصوف و سخاوت سے مشہور ہے، ساری خلقت اس کی ملکیت، تمام معاملات کی باز گشت اسی کے حضور میں ہوگی۔
فَصَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَجُدْ عَلَیَّ بِاِحْسَانِکَ الَّذِیْ فِیْہِ الْغِنٰی عَنِ الْقَرِیْبِ وَالْبَعِیْدِ وَالْاَعْدَآءِ وَالْاِخْوَانِ وَالْاَخَوَاتِ وَاَلْحِقْنِیْ بِالَّذِیْنَ غَمَّرْتَہُمْ بِسَعَۃِ تَطَوُّلِکَ وَکَرَامَتِکَ لَہُمْ وَتَطَوُّلِکَ عَلَیْہِمْ وَجَعَلْتَہُمْ اَطَآئِبَ اَبْرَارًا اَتْقِیَآئً اَخْیَارًا وَلِنَبِیِّکَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّی اللهُ عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ فِیْ دَارِکَ جِیْرَانًا وَاغْفِرْ لِیْ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنٰتِ مَعَ الْاٰبَآءِ وَالْاُمَّہَاتِ وَالْاِخْوَانِ وَالْاَخَوَاتِ یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ۔
Fasalli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammadin wajud 'alayya bi-ihsaanika allazee feehi al-ghinaa 'ani al-qareebi wal-ba'eedi wal-a'daa'i wal-ikhwaani wal-akhawaati wal-hiqnee billazeena ghammartahum bisa'ati tatawwulika wakaraamatika lahum watatawwulika 'alayhim waja'altahum ataa'iba abraaran atqiyaa'an akhyaaran walinabiyyika muhammadin sallaa allaahu 'alayhi wa-aalihee wasallama fee daarika jeeraanan waghfir lee walilmu'mineena wal-mu'minaati ma'a al-aabaa'i wal-ummahaati wal-ikhwaani wal-akhawaati yaa arhama ar-raahimeen.
So send blessings upon Mohammad (s.a.w.a) and the Progeny (a.s) of Mohammad, and be generous to me with Your beneficence, in which lies freedom from need of the near and the far, of enemies, brothers and sisters. Join me to those whom You have flooded with Your ample bounty, Your honouring of them and Your favour upon them, and whom You have made good, righteous, God-fearing and excellent, and neighbours to Your Prophet Mohammad (s.a.w.a) in Your abode; and forgive me and the believing men and women, together with the fathers and mothers, the brothers and sisters, O Most Merciful of the merciful!
محمدؐ و آلِ محمدؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما اور میرے اُوپر وہ احسان فرما کہ پھر قریب، دور، دشمن، بھائی بہن سے بے نیازی ہو جائے، اور ان لوگوں میں شامل کر دے جن پر تیرے احسان و کرم نے سایہ کر رکھا ہے۔ تیری کرامتیں ان ہی لوگوں سے مخصوص، اور تیرا احسان انہی لوگوں کے لئے خاص ہے، تونے ان لوگوں کو پاک، عمل صالح، متقی و بلند کردار پیدا کیا، اور انہیں اپنے گھر (جنت) میں اپنے نبی محمد مصطفٰیؐ کا پڑوسی بنایا اور اے ارحم الراحمین مجھے نیز تمام مومنین و مومنات کو اور ان کے ماں باپ، بھائی بہنوں کے ساتھ بخش دے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
