بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلہِ الَّذِیْ مَنَّ عَلَیَّ بِاِسْتِحْکَامِ الْمَعْرِفَۃِ وَالْاِخْلَاصِ بِالتَّوْحِیْدِ لَہٗ وَلَمْ یَجْعَلْنِیْ مِنْ اَہْلِ الْغَوَایَۃِ وَالْغَبَاوَۃِ وَالشِّرْکِ وَلَا مَنِ اسْتَحْوَذَ الشَّیْطَانُ عَلَیْہِ فَاَغْوَاہُ فَاَضَلَّہٗ وَاتَّخَذَ اِلٰہَہُ ہَوٰہُ وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ الَّذِیْ یُجِیْبُ الْمُضْطَرَّ وَیَکْشِفُ الضُّرَّ وَیَعْلَمُ السِّرَّ وَیَمْلِکُ الْخَیْرَ وَالشَّرَّ وَلَآ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللهُ الَّذِیْ یَحْلُمُ عَنْ عَبْدِہٖ اِذَا عَصَاہُ وَیَتَلَقَّاہُ بِالْاِسْعَافِ وَالتَّلْبِیَۃِ اِذَا دَعَاہُ وَاللهُ اَکْبَرُ الْبَسِیْطُ مُلْکُہُ الْمَعْدُوْمُ شِرْکُہُ الْمَجِیْدُ عَرْشُہُ الشَّدِیْدُ بَطْشُہٗ۔
Al-hamdu lillaahi allazee manna 'alayya bi-istihkaami al-ma'rifati wal-ikhlaasi bit-tawheedi lahoo walam yaj'alnee min ahli al-ghawaayati wal-ghabaawati wash-shirki walaa mani istahwaza ash-shaytaanu 'alayhi fa-aghwaahu fa-adallahoo wattakhaza ilaahahu hawaahu wasubhaana allaahi allazee yujeebu al-mudtarra wayakshifu ad-durra waya'lamu as-sirra wayamliku al-khayra wash-sharra walaa ilaaha illaa allaahu allazee yahlumu 'an 'abdihee izaa 'asaahu wayatalaqqaahu bil-is'aafi wat-talbiyati izaa da'aahu wallaahu akbaru al-baseetu mulkuhu al-ma'doomu shirkuhu al-majeedu 'arshuhu ash-shadeedu batshuh.
All praise belongs to Allah, Who favoured me with firmness of knowledge of Him and sincerity in His Oneness, and did not make me one of the people of error, folly and polytheism, nor one of those whom Satan overpowered, led astray and misled, and who took his own desire as his god. And glory be to Allah, Who answers the one in distress, removes harm, knows the secret and owns good and evil. And there is no god but Allah, Who is forbearing with His servant when he disobeys Him, and meets him with help and a ready answer when he calls on Him. And Allah is the Greatest, Whose kingdom is vast, Who has no partner, Whose throne is glorious and Whose grip is severe.
اس اللہ کی حمد جس نے مجھ پر معرفت کی پختگی اور توحید میں اخلاص کے ذریعے احسان کیا اور مجھے گمراہوں، بیوقوفوں اور مشرکوں میں شامل نہیں کیا، اور نہ ان لوگوں میں شمار کیا جن پر شیطان نے مسلّط ہو کر گمراہ کر دیا اور منزل سے دور کر دیا، اور اس شخص نے اپنی خواہش کو اپنا معبود بنا لیا ہو، اور پاک ہے وہ اللہ، جو بے چین کی دعا سنتا اور دکھ غلط کرتا، راز جانتا، خیر و شر کا مالک ہے، اور اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی معبود (عبادت کے لائق) نہیں، کہ جب اس کا بندہ گناہ کرتا ہے تو وہ درگزر فرماتا ہے، اور غمگساری و لبیک کہہ کر اس شخص سے پیش آتا ہے جو اسے پکارے، اور اللہ بزرگ و برتر ہے، اس کا ملک وسیع، اس کا شریک ناپید، اس کا عرش قابل تعریف اور غضب سخت ہے۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُکَ سُؤَالَ مَنْ لَمْ یَجِدْ لِسُؤَالِہٖ مَسْئُوْلًا سِوَاکَ وَاَعْتَمِدُ عَلَیْکَ اِعْتِمَادَ مَنْ لَا یَجِدُ لِاِعْتِمَادِہٖ مُعْتَمِدًا غَیْرَکَ لِاَنَّکَ الْاَوَّلُ الَّذِی ابْتَدَاْتَ الْاِبْتِدَآءَ فَکَوَّنْتَہٗ بِاَیْدِیْ تَلَطُّفِکَ فَاسْتَکَانَ عَلٰی مَشِیَّتِکَ مُنْشَئًا کَمَا اَرَدْتَ بِاِحْکَامِ التَّقْدِیْرِ وَاَنْتَ اَعَزُّ وَاَجَلُّ اَنْ تُحِیْطَ الْعُقُوْلُ بِمَبْلَغِ وَصْفِکَ اَنْتَ الْعَالِمُ الَّذِیْ لَا یَعْزُبُ عَنْکَ مِثْقَالُ ذَرَّۃٍ فِی الْاَرْضِ وَالسَّمَآءِ وَالْجَوَادُ الَّذِیْ لَا یُبْخِلُکَ اِلْحَاحُ الْمُلِحِّیْنَ فَاِنَّمَا اَمْرُکَ لِلشَّیْءِ اِذَا اَرَدْتَہٗ اَنْ تَقُوْلَ لَہٗ کُنْ فَیَکُوْنَ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka su'aala man lam yajid lisu'aalihee mas'oolan siwaaka wa-a'tamidu 'alayka i'timaada man laa yajidu li-i'timaadihee mu'tamidan ghayraka li-annaka al-awwalu allazee ibtada'ta al-ibtidaa'a fakawwantahoo bi-aydee talattufika fastakaana 'alaa mashiyyatika munsha'an kamaa aradta bi-ihkaami at-taqdeeri wa-anta a'azzu wa-ajallu an tuheeta al-'uqoolu bimablaghi wasfika anta al-'aalimu allazee laa ya'zubu 'anka mithqaalu zarratin fee al-ardi was-samaa'i wal-jawaadu allazee laa yubkhiluka ilhaahu al-mulihheena fa-innamaa amruka lish-shay'i izaa aradtahoo an taqoola lahoo kun fayakoon.
O Allah! I ask You with the asking of one who finds no one but You to ask, and I rely on You with the reliance of one who finds no one but You to rely on; for You are the First, Who began the beginning and brought it into being with the hands of Your kindness, and it settled upon Your will, originated as You wished by the firmness of Your determining. And You are too mighty and too majestic for intellects to encompass the extent of describing You. You are the Knower from Whom not the weight of an atom in the earth or the heaven is hidden, and the Generous Whom the insistence of the insistent does not make miserly; for Your command to a thing, when You will it, is only to say to it "Be", and it is.
اے میرے پروردگار! میں اس شخص کی طرح سوال کرتا ہوں جسے اپنی تمنّاؤں کے لئے تیرے سوا کوئی قابل سوال نہ ملتا ہو، اور اس شخص کی طرح اعتماد کرتا ہوں جس کا بھروسے کے لئے تیرے سوا کوئی معتمد نہ ہو۔ کیونکہ تو وہ اوّل ہے جس نے آغاز کو آغاز بنایا، اسے اپنے ہاتھوں وجود آرا کیا، اور اس نے تیری مشیّت کے مطابق تیری تقدیر کی استواری کے انداز کے مطابق وجود سے آرائش حاصل کی، اور تو اس سے کہیں بلند و جلیل ہے کہ تیرے اوصاف کے اندازوں اور حدوں کے مطابق عقل تیرا احاطہ کر سکے، اور توہی وہ عالم ہے کہ زمین و آسمان کا کوئی ذرّہ بھی تیرے علم سے باہر نہیں، اور توہی وہ جوادِ مطلق ہے کہ مسلسل مانگنے والوں کی طلب تجھے بخیل نہیں بناتی، تیرا حکم تو ایسا ہے کہ جب کسی شئے کے لئے "ہوجا" کہنے کا ارادہ فرماتا ہے تو وہ ہو جاتی ہے۔
اَمْرُکَ مَاضٍ وَ وَعْدُکَ حَتْمٌ وَحُکْمُکَ عَدْلٌ لَا یَعْزُبُ عَنْکَ شَیْءٌ وَاِلَیْکَ مَرَدُّ کُلِّ شَیْءٍ اِحْتَجَبْتَ بِاٰلَآئِکَ فَلَا تُرٰی وَشَہِدْتَ کُلَّ نَجْوٰی وَتَعَالَیْتَ عَلَی الْعُلٰی وَتَفَرَّدْتَ بِالْکِبْرِیَآءِ وَتَعَزَّزْتَ بِالْقُدْرَۃِ وَالْبَقَآءِ فَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ فِی الْاٰخِرَۃِ وَالْاُوْلٰی وَلَکَ الشُّکْرُ فِی الْبَدْوِ وَالْعُقْبٰی اَنْتَ اِلٰہِیْ حَلِیْمٌ قَادِرٌ رَئُوْفٌ غَافِرٌ وَمَلِکٌ قَاہِرٌ وَرَازِقٌ بَدِیْعٌ مُجِیْبٌ سَمِیْعٌ بِیَدِکَ نَوَاصِی الْعِبَادِ وَقَوَاصِی الْبِلَادِ حَیٌّ قَیُّوْمٌ جَوَادٌ مَاجِدٌ کَرِیْمٌ رَحِیْمٌ۔
Amruka maadin wa wa'duka hatmun wahukmuka 'adlun laa ya'zubu 'anka shay'un wa-ilayka maraddu kulli shay'in ihtajabta bi-aalaa'ika falaa turaa washahidta kulla najwaa wata'aalayta 'alaa al-'ulaa watafarradta bil-kibriyaa'i wata'azzazta bil-qudrati wal-baqaa'i falaka al-hamdu fee al-aakhirati wal-oolaa walaka ash-shukru fee al-badwi wal-'uqbaa anta ilaahee haleemun qaadirun ra'oofun ghaafirun wamalikun qaahirun waraaziqun badee'un mujeebun samee'un biyadika nawaasee al-'ibaadi waqawaasee al-bilaadi hayyun qayyoomun jawaadun maajidun kareemun raheem.
Your command is effective, Your promise certain and Your judgement just. Nothing is hidden from You, and to You is the return of all things. You are veiled by Your favours, so You are not seen, yet You witness every confidential talk. You are exalted above all heights, alone in grandeur, and mighty in power and everlastingness. So Yours is the praise in the Hereafter and in this world, and Yours is the thanks in the beginning and the end. You, my God, are Forbearing, All-Powerful, Kind, Forgiving, the King, the Subduer, the Provider, the Originator, the Answerer, the All-Hearing. In Your hand are the forelocks of the servants and the far ends of the lands; Ever-Living, Self-Subsisting, Generous, Glorious, Noble, Merciful.
تیرا حکم نافذ، تیرا وعدہ حتمی، تیرا فیصلہ انصاف، تجھ سے کوئی بات پوشیدہ نہیں، ہر شئے کی باز گشت تیرے ہی طرف ہے، تو اپنی نعمتوں کے پردوں میں اس طرح مخفی ہے کہ دیکھا نہیں جا سکتا، ہر تنہائی میں موجود گواہ ہے، تو بلندیوں سے بلند، اور کبریائی میں منفرد، بقا و قدرت کی وجہ سے غالب ہے۔ تیری حمد آخرت میں بھی دنیا میں بھی، اور تیرا شکر آغاز میں بھی انجام میں بھی۔ اے میرے معبود! تو بردبار اور قادر، مہربان و مغفرت کرنے والا، مالکِ حقیقی، غالب، رازق، بے مثال خالق، دعا قبول کرنے والا، سننے والا ہے۔ بندوں کی قسمتیں اور دور دراز آبادیاں تیرے ہی قبضہٴ قدرت میں ہیں، وہ حیّ و قیّوم، جواد، ماجد، کریم و رحیم ہے۔
اَنْتَ اِلٰہِیْ الْمَالِکُ الَّذِیْ مَلَکْتَ الْمُلُوْکَ فَتَوَاضَعَ لِہَیْبَتِکَ الْاَعِزَّآءُ وَدَانَ لَکَ بِالطَّاعَۃِ الْاَوْلِیَآءُ فَاحْتَوَیْتَ بِاِلٰہِیَّتِکَ عَلَی الْمَجْدِ وَالثَّنَآءِ وَلَا یَئُوْدُکَ حِفْظُ خَلْقِکَ وَلَا تُہْلِکُ عَطَایَاکَ بِمَنْ مَنَحْتَہٗ سَعَۃَ رِزْقِکَ وَاَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُیُوْبِ سَتَرْتَ عَلَیَّ عُیُوْبِیْ وَاَحْصَیْتَ عَلَیَّ ذُنُوْبِیْ وَاَکْرَمْتَنِیْ بِمَعْرِفَۃِ دِیْنِکَ وَلَمْ تَہْتِکْ عَنِّیْ سِتْرَکَ یَا حَنَّانُ وَلَمْ تَفْضَحْنِیْ یَا مَنَّانُ۔
Anta ilaahee al-maaliku allazee malakta al-mulooka fatawaada'a lihaybatika al-a'izzaa'u wadaana laka bit-taa'ati al-awliyaa'u fahtawayta bi-ilaahiyyatika 'alaa al-majdi wath-thanaa'i walaa ya'ooduka hifzu khalqika walaa tuhliku 'ataayaaka biman manahtahoo sa'ata rizqika wa-anta 'allaamu al-ghuyoobi satarta 'alayya 'uyoobee wa-ahsayta 'alayya zunoobee wa-akramtanee bima'rifati deenika walam tahtik 'annee sitraka yaa hannaanu walam tafdahnee yaa mannaan.
You, my God, are the King Who owns the kings; the mighty are humbled before Your awe, Your friends submit to You in obedience, and by Your Divinity You have possessed all glory and praise. Guarding Your creation does not weary You, and Your gifts to those You have granted Your ample provision do not exhaust it. You are the Knower of the unseen; You have covered my faults, counted my sins against me and honoured me with knowledge of Your religion. You have not torn Your covering away from me, O Tender One, nor disgraced me, O Bestower of favours!
میرے مالک تو میرا وہ معبود ہے کہ بادشاہوں کا بادشاہ و مالک ہے، معزّزین تیری ہیبت کے سامنے سرنگوں، اور اولیا تیری اطاعت کے پابند ہیں، تو اپنی الوہیت کی وجہ سے بزرگی و تعریف کا مالک ہے، تجھے اپنی مخلوق کی نگہداشت گراں نہیں گذرتی۔ لوگوں پر عطیّوں کی فراوانی تیرے رزق کی وسعتوں کو ختم نہیں کرتی، توہی غیب کی باتیں جاننے والا ہے، توہی نے میرے عیبوں کی پردہ پوشی کی، توہی میرے گناہوں کا شمار جانتا ہے، اور توہی نے اپنے دین کی معرفت سے سرفراز فرمایا۔ اے مہربان! تو نے مجھ سے اپنی پردہ پوشی کو جدا نہیں کیا، اور اے احسان کرنے والے! مجھے رسوا نہیں کیا۔
اَسْئَلُکَ اَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاَنْ تُوَسِّعَ عَلَیَّ مِنْ فَضْلِکَ الْوَاسِعِ رِزْقًا وَاسِعًا حَلٰلًا طَیِّبًا وَاَنْ تَغْفِرَ ذُنُوْبًا حَالَتْ بَیْنِیْ وَبَیْنَکَ بِاِقْتِرَافِیْ لَہَا فَاَنْتَ اَہْلٌ اَنْ تَجُوْدَ عَلَیَّ بِسَعَۃِ رَحْمَتِکَ وَتُنْقِذَنِیْ مِنْ اَلِیْمِ عَقُوْبَتِکَ وَتُدْرِجَنِیْ دَرَجَ الْمُکْرَمِیْنَ وَتُلْحِقَنِیْ مَوْلَایَ بِالصَّالِحِیْنَ الَّذِیْنَ تَتَوَفّٰہُمُ الْمَلَآئِکَۃُ طَیِّبِیْنَ یَقُوْلُوْنَ سَلَامٌ عَلَیْکُمْ اُدْخُلُوْا الْجَنَّۃَ بِمَا کُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَ بِصَفْحِکَ وَتَغَمُّدِکَ۔
As'aluka an tusalliya 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammadin wa-an tuwassi'a 'alayya min fadlika al-waasi'i rizqan waasi'an halaalan tayyiban wa-an taghfira zunooban haalat baynee wabaynaka bi-iqtiraafee lahaa fa-anta ahlun an tajooda 'alayya bisa'ati rahmatika watunqizanee min aleemi 'aqoobatika watudrijanee daraja al-mukrameena watulhiqanee mawlaaya bis-saaliheena allazeena tatawaffaahumu al-malaa'ikatu tayyibeena yaqooloona salaamun 'alaykum udkhuloo al-jannata bimaa kuntum ta'maloona bisafhika wataghammudik.
I ask You to send blessings upon Mohammad (s.a.w.a) and the Progeny (a.s) of Mohammad, to widen for me from Your vast bounty a vast, lawful and good sustenance, and to forgive the sins that have come between me and You through my committing them; for You are worthy to be generous to me with Your vast mercy, to rescue me from Your painful punishment, to raise me to the ranks of the honoured, and to join me, my Master, to the righteous whom the angels take in death while they are good, saying, "Peace be upon you; enter Paradise because of what you used to do", by Your pardon and Your covering.
دعا ہے کہ حضرت محمدؐ و آلِ محمدؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما، اور اپنے فضل وسیع سے میرے رزقِ حلال و وسیع و طیّب میں وسعت عطا فرما، اور میرے ان حاصل کردہ گناہوں کو معاف فرما دے جو میرے تیرے درمیان پردہ ہیں، کیونکہ توہی اس بات کا اہل ہے کہ اپنی وسیع رحمتوں سے مجھ پر رحم فرما، اور اپنے سنگین عذاب سے مجھے بچا، اور معزّزین کے درجوں میں جگہ دے، میرے مولا! مجھے ان صالح لوگوں میں شمار کر جنہیں فرشتے طہارت کی حالت میں اُٹھا لیتے ہیں، اور کہتے ہیں "سلام علیکم (یعنی سلامتی ہو تم پر)، اپنے کیئے ہوئے عمل کے بدلے جنّت میں داخل ہو جاؤ"، تیرے درگزر اور پردہ پوشی کے طفیل۔
یَا رَئُوْفُ یَا رَحِیْمُ وَاَسْئَلُکَ الصَّلٰوۃَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاَنْ تَحْتَمِلَ عَنِّیْ وَاجِبَ الْاٰبَآءِ وَالْاُمَّہَاتِ وَاَدِّ حُقُوْقَہُمْ عَنِّیْ وَاَلْحِقْنِیْ مَعَہُمْ بِالْاَبْرَارِ وَالْاِخْوَانِ وَالْاَخْوَاتِ وَالْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنٰتِ وَاغْفِرْ لِیْ وَلَہُمْ جَمِیْعًا اِنَّکَ حَمِیْدٌ مَّجِیْدٌ وَصَلَّی اللهُ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِیِّ وَاٰلِہٖ اَجْمَعِیْنَ۔
Yaa ra'oofu yaa raheemu wa-as'aluka as-salaata 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammadin wa-an tahtamila 'annee waajiba al-aabaa'i wal-ummahaati wa-addi huqooqahum 'annee wal-hiqnee ma'ahum bil-abraari wal-ikhwaani wal-akhwaati wal-mu'mineena wal-mu'minaati waghfir lee walahum jamee'an innaka hameedun majeedun wasallaa allaahu 'alaa muhammadin an-nabiyyi wa-aalihee ajma'een.
O Kind One, O Merciful! I ask You for blessings upon Mohammad (s.a.w.a) and the Progeny (a.s) of Mohammad, and that You bear for me what is due to fathers and mothers, discharge their rights on my behalf, and join me with them to the righteous, with the brothers and sisters and the believing men and women, and forgive me and them all; surely You are Praiseworthy, Glorious. And may Allah bless Mohammad, the Prophet, and all his Progeny (a.s).
اے رؤف و رحیم تجھے اپنے رحم و کرم کا صدقہ اور میری دعاء ہے کہ محمدؐ و آلِ محمدؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما، اور میرے اُوپر فرض شدہ حقوقِ مادر و پدر کی سربراہی فرما، اور میری طرف سے ان کے حقوق ادا کر دے اور مجھے ان کے اور برادر و خواہر، مومنین و مومنات کے ساتھ نیک عمل لوگوں میں شامل فرما، مجھے اور ان سب کو بخش دے، بلاشبہ تو قابل حمد و لائق بزرگی ہے۔ ہمارے نبی محمد مصطفٰیؐ اور ان کے تمام اہل بیتؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
