صفا و مروہ کے درمیان سعی کے ۷ شوط (چکر) مکمل ہو جانے کے بعد تقصیر کی نیت سے تھوڑے سے بال یا ناخن کاٹنا واجب ہے۔ بہتر ہے کہ صرف ناخن پر اکتفا نہ کرے اور تھوڑے سے بال بھی کاٹے کہ یہی مطابق احتیاط ہے۔ عمرۂ تمتع میں تقصیر کے لئے سر نہیں مونڈنا چاہیئے بلکہ سر مونڈنا حرام ہے، تقصیر کے وقت یہ دُعا پڑھنا مناسب ہے۔۔۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ اَعْطِنِیْ بِكُلِّ شَعْرَۃٍ نُوْرًا یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَۃِ۔
Allaahumma a'tinee bikulli sha'ratin nooran yawma al-qiyaamah.
O Allah! Please reward me the Noor (light) for each hair on the day of Judgement.
خدایا! تو مجھے قیامت کے دن ہر بال کے بدلے میں ایک نور عطا فرما۔

After Taqseer your Umrah-e-Tamatto is complete and you are free from Ehraam. The 2nd Part of Hajj ie. Hajj-e-Tamatto starts from 8th Zilhajj.
تقصیر کے بعد احرام سے آزاد ہو گئے یعنی عمرہ تمتع (حج کا پہلا حصہ) مکمل ہوا۔ اب حج کا دوسرا حصہ یعنی حجِ تمتع ۸؍ذی الحجہ سے شروع ہو گا۔
