بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
یَارَحْمٰنَ الدُّنْیَا وَالْاٰخِرَۃِ وَرَحِیْمَھُمَا وَیَا جَبَّارَ الدُّنْیَا وَمَالِکَ الْمُلُوْکِ وَیَا رَازِقَ الْعِبَادِ وَھٰذَا شَھْرُ التَّوْبَۃِ وَھٰذَا شَھْرُ الثَّوَابِ وَھٰذَا شَھْرُ الرَّجَآئِ وَاَنْتَ السَّمِیْعُ الْعَلِیْمُ اَسْئَلُکَ اَنْ تَجْعَلَنِیْ فِیْ عِبَادِکَ الصَّالِحِیْنَ الَّذِیْنَ لَاخَوْفٌ عَلَیْہِمْ وَلَاہُمْ یَحْزَنُوْنَ وَاَنْ تَسْتُرَنِیْ بِالسِّتْرِ الَّذِیْ لَا یَھْتِکُ وَتُجَلِّلَنِیْ بِعَافِیَتِکَ الَّتِیْ لَا تُرَامُ وَتُعْطِیَنِیْ سُؤْلِیْ وَتُدْخِلَنِیَ الْجَنَّۃَ بِرَحْمَتِکَ وَاَنْ لَّا تَدَعَ لِیْ ذَنْۢبًا اِلَّا غَفَرْتَہٗ وَلَاھَمًّا اِلَّا فَرَّجْتَہٗ وَلَا کُرْبَۃً اِلَّا کَشَفْتَہَا وَلَا حَاجَۃً اِلَّا قَضَیْتَھَا بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ اِنَّکَ اَنْتَ الْاَجَلُّ الْاَعْظَمُ۔
Yaa rahmaana ad-dunyaa wal-aakhirati waraheemahumaa wayaa jabbaara ad-dunyaa wamaalika al-mulooki wayaa raaziqa al-'ibaadi wahaazaa shahru at-tawbati wahaazaa shahru ath-thawaabi wahaazaa shahru ar-rajaa'i wa-anta as-samee'u al-'aleemu as'aluka an taj'alanee fee 'ibaadika as-saaliheena allazeena laakhawfun 'alayhim walaahum yahzanoona wa-an tasturanee bis-sitri allazee laa yahtiku watujallilanee bi'aafiyatika allatee laa turaamu watu'tiyanee su'lee watudkhilaniya al-jannata birahmatika wa-an laa tada'a lee zanban illaa ghafartahoo walaahamman illaa farrajtahoo walaa kurbatan illaa kashaftahaa walaa haajatan illaa qadaytahaa bihaqqi muhammadin wa-aali muhammadin innaka anta al-ajallu al-a'zam.
O the beneficent of the world and the Hereafter and the Merciful of both and O one who is powerful in the world and the King of the kings and the sustainer of the creatures. This is a month of repentance and this is a month of divine rewards and this is a month of hope and You are the Hearer and the All-knowing. I ask You to make me one of Your righteous servants, who are such that there is no fear or grief upon them and grant me such a covering so that my defects are not seen and through Your prosperity grant me such greatness as is never seen. Fulfill all my needs and admit me to Paradise by Your mercy and forgive each of my sins and remove all my sadness and take away all my troubles and do not leave any of my wishes unfulfilled for the sake of Muhammad and Aale Muhammad (a.s). Indeed You are the most majestic and the most great.
اے دنیا و آخرت کے مہربان، اے دونوں جہاں میں رحم کرنے والے، اے وہ جس کے لئے صرف دنیا میں کبریائی زیبا ہے۔ اے تمام بادشاہوں کے بادشاہ اور اے بندوں کو روزی دینے والے، یہ توبہ کا مہینہ ہے، یہ ثواب کا مہینہ ہے، یہ تو امیدوں کا مہینہ ہے اور تو خود ہی سننے والا اور جاننے والا ہے۔ (پروردگار) میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں، کہ تو مجھ کو اپنے ان نیکو کار بندوں میں سے قرار دے، کہ جن کے لئے نہ تو خوف ہے اور نہ وہ رنجیدہ ہوں گے اور میری ایسی پردہ پوشی فرما جس کے بعد (میرے عیب) ظاہر نہ ہوں اور عافیت کے ذریعہ مجھے ایسی بزرگی عنایت فرما جس کا تصور نہ کیا جا سکے۔ میری تمام حاجتیں پوری فرما اور اپنی رحمت کے طفیل مجھے جنت میں داخل کر اور میرے ہر گناہ کو بخش دے اور ہر رنج کو دور کر دے، ہر بے چینی کو زائل فرما اور کوئی بھی حاجت پوری ہونے سے رہ نہ جائے۔ تجھے محمدؐ اور آل محمدؑ کے حق کا واسطہ تو ہی سب سے برتر و اعظم ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
Muhammad Ibne Abu Qarrih has reported in Amaal Shaher-e-Ramazan to recite dua Ilaahi Maa A’milto on the 4th night of Mahe Ramazan.
محمد ابن ابو قرہ نے اعمال شہر رمضان سے روایت کی ہے کہ ۴؍ماہِ رمضان کی شب میں دُعا اِلٰهِيْ مَا عَمِلْتُ پڑھے۔
