The reciter addresses Allah as the One who is what He is, whom nothing resembles and whom none knows as He knows Himself, whom nothing can render helpless and for whom there is no substitute, the Creator and controller of all things, who broke the tyrants by His power. The text describes Him as the One before whom every forehead bows and to whose lordship all creatures submit, near and far, who knows the apparent and the hidden and what is more hidden still, the blink of an eye and what the hearts conceal, what has been and what will be, and in whose control is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. On that ground the reciter asks to be kept safe by His kindness from whatever is feared, and to be brought what is hoped for.

معصومینؑ سے روایت ہے کہ، بےشک تمام گھر والوں کے لیئے خزانہ ہوتا ہے اور ہمارا خزانہ یہ دُعا ہے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْاَلُكَ يَا مَنْ هُوَ، وَلَيْسَ شَیْءٌ كَهُوَ اِلَّا هُوَ، يَا مَنْ لَا يَعْلَمُ مَا هُوَ اِلَّا هُوَ، يَا مَنْ لَا يُعْجِزُهٗ شَیْءٌ، وَلَا يَعْتَاصُ عَلَيْهِ شَیْءٌ، وَخَالِقُ كُلِّ شَیْءٍ، وَمُدَبِّرُ كُلِّ شَیْءٍ، وَمَنْ فِيْ قَبْضَتِهٖ كُلُّ شَیْءٍ، قَاهِرٌ لِكُلِّ شَیْءٍ، قَمَعَ الْجَبَابِرَةَ بِبَاسِهٖ، وَاسْتَعْبَدَ الْخَلْقَ بِسُلْطَانِهٖ، اَنْتَ الَّذِیْ خَشَعَتْ لَكَ كُلُّ نَاصِيَةٍ وَاَذْعَنَتْ بِرُبُوْبِيَّتِكَ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ دَانِيَةٍ وَقَاصِيَةٍ، تَعْلَمُ السِّرَّ وَالنَّجْوٰی، وَمَا هُوَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَیْءٍ اَخْفٰی، يَا مَنْ يَعْلَمُ لَحَظَاتِ الْجُفُوْنِ، وَمَا تُخْفِيْهِ الْقُلُوْبُ مِنْ غَامِضِ الْمَكْنُوْنِ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka yaa man huwa, walaysa shay'un kahuwa illaa huwa, yaa man laa ya'lamu maa huwa illaa huwa, yaa man laa yu'jizuhoo shay'un, walaa ya'taasu 'alayhi shay'un, wakhaaliqu kulli shay'in, wamudabbiru kulli shay'in, waman fee qabdatihee kullu shay'in, qaahirun likulli shay'in, qama'a al-jabaabirata bibaasihee, wasta'bada al-khalqa bisultaanihee, anta allazee khasha'at laka kullu naasiyatin wa-az'anat biruboobiyyatika kullu nafsin daaniyatin waqaasiyatin, ta'lamu as-sirra wan-najwaa, wamaa huwa min kulli shay'in akhfaa, yaa man ya'lamu lahazaati al-jufooni, wamaa tukhfeehi al-quloobu min ghaamidi al-maknoon.
O Allah, indeed I ask you, O One Who is what He is. And there is nothing like Him except Himself. O One Whom none knows what He is except Himself. O One Whom nothing can make helpless, and nothing is difficult for Him, and He is the Creator of everything, and the One Who controls everything, and One in Whose control is everything, the dominant One over everything, Who destroyed the tyrants by His power. One Who demands worship of the creatures by His power. O You are the One for whom every forehead bows. And all the beings submit to Your lordship, the closest and the distant ones, You know the apparent and the hidden and what is there from everything more hidden. O One Who knows the blinks of the eyes and what the hearts conceal in the depths of the secrets.
اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں، اے وہ ذات جو خود ہے،اور تیرے سوا کوئی چیز تیری مثل نہیں،اے وہ ذات جسے تیرے سوا کوئی نہیں جانتا کہ تُو کیا ہے،اے وہ کہ جسے کوئی چیز عاجز نہیں کرسکتی،اور نہ کوئی چیز تجھے بے نیاز کرسکتی ہے،تُو ہر چیز کا خالق ہے،اور ہر معاملے کا تدبیر کرنے والا ہے،اور ہر چیز تیری ہی گرفت میں ہے۔ تُو ہر چیز پر غالب ہے، تُو نے اپنے زورِ قدرت سے جابروں کو پست کردیا، اور اپنی سلطانی سے ساری مخلوق کو اپنے تابع کردیا۔ تُو وہ ہے کہ ہر پیشانی تیرے سامنے جھکتی ہے، اور ہر جان خواہ نزدیک ہو یا دور تیری ربوبیت کے آگے جھک جاتی ہے۔ تُو راز اور سرگوشیاں جانتا ہے، اور ان سب چیزوں کو بھی جو سب سے زیادہ مخفی ہیں۔ اے وہ ذات! جو پلکوں کی ہر جنبش کو جانتا ہے، اور وہ سب کچھ بھی جانتا ہے جو دل اپنی گہرائی میں چھپائے رکھتے ہیں۔
يَا مَنْ يَعْلَمُ مَا كَانَ وَمَا يَكُوْنُ، يَا مَنْ بِيَدِهٖ مَلَكُوْتُ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِ، يَا بَدِيْعَ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِ، يَا مَنْ بِيَدِهٖ مَلَكُوْتُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ، وَهُوَ لَا يُجَارُ عَلَيْهِ، اَجِرْنَا بِلُطْفِكَ مِمَّا نَتَّقِيْ، وَبَلِّغْنَا بِقُدْرَتِكَ مَا نَرْتَجِىْ، يَا مَنْ لَا يَخْفٰی عَلَيْهِ الدَّقِيْقُ الْخَفِىُّ، وَلَا الْجَلِيْلُ الْجَلِىُّ، يَا مَوْلَاىَ انْقَطَعَ الرَّجَاءُ اِلَّا مِنْكَ، وَخَابَتِ الْآمَالُ اِلَّا فِيْكَ۔
اَسْاَلُكَ بِحَقِّ مَنْ حَقُّهٗ وَاجِبٌ عَلَيْكَ، مِمَّنْ جَعَلْتَ لَهُمُ الْحَقَّ عِنْدَكَ، اَنْ تُصَلِّىَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَاَنْ تَقْضِىَ حَاجَتِىْ، وَاَنْ تُبَلِّغَنِيْ اَمْنِيَتِىْ، وَتُنْجِزَ لِىْ اَمَلِىْ، فَاِنِّيْ اَسْاَلُكَ وَاَعْلَمُ اَنَّكَ الرَّبُّ الْعَظِيْمُ، الَّذِىْ لَا يُعْجِزُكَ شَىْءٌ اِذَا اَرَدْتَهٗ۔
Yaa man ya'lamu maa kaana wamaa yakoonu, yaa man biyadihee malakootu as-samaawaati wal-ardi, yaa badee'a as-samaawaati wal-ardi, yaa man biyadihee malakootu kulli shay'in, wahuwa laa yujaaru 'alayhi, ajirnaa bilutfika mimmaa nattaqee, waballighnaa biqudratika maa nartajee, yaa man laa yakhfaa 'alayhi ad-daqeequ al-khafiyyu, walaa al-jaleelu al-jaliyyu, yaa mawlaaya inqata'a ar-rajaa'u illaa minka, wakhaabati al-aamaalu illaa feek.
As'aluka bihaqqi man haqquhoo waajibun 'alayka, mimman ja'alta lahumu al-haqqa 'indaka, an tusalliya 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammadin, wa-an taqdiya haajatee, wa-an tuballighanee amniyatee, watunjiza lee amalee, fa-innee as'aluka wa-a'lamu annaka ar-rabbu al-'azeemu, allazee laa yu'jizuka shay'un izaa aradtah.
O One Who knows what was and what will be. O One in Whose control is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. O One Who is the Creator of the heavens and the earth. O One in Whose control is the kingdom of everything. And He is such that nothing could oppress Him. Save us by Your kindness from whatever we fear. And convey to us what we hope for. O One on Whom is not hidden the most subtle and the most hidden and the most revered of the revered. O master! The hopes are cut off except from You, and the hopes are not reposed except in You. I ask you for the sake of those whose right is obligatory upon You. Whose rights You have appointed worthy near You. That You bless Muhammad and the Progeny of Muhammad and that You fulfill my need, and that You convey me to my wish, and fulfill my hopes, then I indeed ask You and I know that You are the great Lord, One Whom nothing can make helpless when You have intended it.
اے وہ ذات! جو جانتا ہے کہ کیا ہوچکا ہے اور کیا ہونے والا ہے، اے وہ جس کے ہاتھ میں آسمانوں اور زمین کی بادشاہی ہے، اے آسمانوں اور زمین کے بے مثال پیدا کرنے والے، اے وہ جس کے ہاتھ میں ہر چیز کی سلطنت ہے اور کوئی اس کے مقابل پناہ دینے والا نہیں ہمیں اپنے لطف و کرم سے ہر اس چیز سے بچا لے جس سے ہم ڈرتے ہیں، اور اپنی قدرت سے وہ سب ہمیں پہنچا دے جس کی ہم امید رکھتے ہیں۔ اے وہ کہ جس پر نہ کوئی باریک اور مخفی چیز پوشیدہ ہے، اور نہ کوئی بڑی اور ظاہر چیز۔ اے میرے مولیٰ! امید کے سارے در تیرے سوا بند ہوچکے، اور ہر آرزو تیرے سوا سب میں ناکام ہوگئی۔ میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں اُن ہستیوں کے حق کے واسطے جن کا حق تو نے اپنے اوپر لازم قرار دیا، اور جن کے لیے تُو نے اپنے پاس حق ثابت فرمایا، کہ تُو محمدؐ و آلِ محمدؐ پر درود نازل فرما، اور میری حاجت کو پوری فرما، میری مراد تک مجھے پہنچا دے، اور میری آرزو کو پورا کر دے۔ بےشک میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں اور جانتا ہوں کہ تُو ہی عظیم رب ہے، وہ ذات جسے کوئی چیز عاجز نہیں کرسکتی جب تُو کسی چیز کا ارادہ فرما لے۔
اَللَّهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اُصْبِحُ وَاَمْسِىْ فِيْ ذِمَامِكَ وَجِوَارِكَ، فاَجِرْنِيْ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَاَهْلِيْ وَ وُلْدِىْ مِمَّنْ خَلَقْتَ وَمَا خَلَقْتَ، يَا عَظِيْمُ (اِنَّا جَعَلْنَا مِنْ بَيْنِ اَيْدِيْهِمْ سَدًّا وَّمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَاَغْشَيْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُوْنَ) بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ، اَللهُ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ الْحَىُّ الْقَيُّوْمُ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ فَبِهِمَا وَبِسْمِكَ الْاَعْظَمِ مِنْهُمَا، اِجْعَلْنَا فِيْ حِرْزٍ وَجَنَّةٍ مِّنْ كُلِّ مَا نَتَّقِيْهِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ السُّلْطَانِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ، وَشَرِّ كُلِّ وَحْشٍ وَدَبِيْبٍ وَهَوَامٍّ وَطوَارِقِ اللَّيْلِ وَخَوَارِجِ النَّهَارِ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ اَمْرٍ مَخُوْفٍ لَا اَعْلَمُهٗ فَاَتَّقِيْهِ، وَلَا آمَنُ اَنْ يَحِلَّ بِىْ فَاَحْتَوِيْهِ۔
Al-lahumma innee usbihu wa-amsee fee zimaamika wajiwaarika, f'ajirnee.
Allaahumma wa-ahlee wa wuldee mimman khalaqta wamaa khalaqta, yaa 'azeemu (innaa ja'alnaa min bayni aydeehim saddan wamin khalfihim saddan fa-aghshaynaahum fahum laa yubsiroona) bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheemi, allaahu laa ilaaha illaa huwa al-hayyu al-qayyoom.
Allaahumma fabihimaa wabismika al-a'zami minhumaa, ij'alnaa fee hirzin wajannatin min kulli maa nattaqeehi, wamin sharri as-sultaani, wamin sharri ash-shaytaani, washarri kulli wahshin wadabeebin wahawaammin watwaariqi al-layli wakhawaariji an-nahaari, wamin kulli amrin makhoofin laa a'lamuhoo fa-attaqeehi, walaa aamanu an yahilla bee fa-ahtaweeh.
O Allah, indeed I pass the day and night under Your guarantee and Your protection, so grant me refuge. O Allah, and my family and my children, whom You have created and what You created. O the great One. And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. In the name of Allah, the Beneficent the Merciful, There is no god except Allah, He is the living, the eternal. O Allah then by them and by Your Name that is greater than both of them. Place us in the refuge and shield from everything we dread, and from the mischief of the ruler and the mischief of the Satan and the mischief of all the beasts and quadrupeds and crawling creatures and the darknesses of the night and the coming out of the day, and from every fearful matter that I do not know so as to guard against it, and that I am not safe from befalling me.
اے اللہ! میں صبح اور شام تیرے ذمّہ اور تیرے جوار (حفاظت) میں داخل ہوتا ہوں، پس مجھے اپنی پناہ میں لے لے۔ اور اے اللہ! میرے اہلِ خانہ اور میری اولاد کو بھی ان سب میں سے جنہیں تو نے پیدا کیا، اور جو کچھ بھی تو نے پیدا کیا (ان سب کو اپنی حفاظت میں رکھ) اے عظیم ذات! (اِنَّا جَعَلْنَا مِنْ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَأَغْشَيْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ) ہم نے ان کے آگے ایک آڑ اور ان کے پیچھے ایک آڑ بنادی، اور ہم نے انہیں ڈھانپ دیا، تو وہ دیکھ نہیں سکتے۔ بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ اَللهُ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ اے اللہ! ان دونوں (آیات) کے وسیلے سے اور تیرے اس اسمِ اعظم کے طفیل جو ان دونوں سے بھی عظیم ہے ہمیں اپنی محفوظ پناہ اور ڈھال میں رکھ ہر اس چیز سے جس سے ہم ڈرتے ہیں، اور ہمیں محفوظ رکھ: بُرے حکمران کے شر سے، شیطان کے شر سے، ہر درندے، رینگنے والے کیڑے، ہر نقصان پہنچانے والے جاندار سے، رات کے اچانک آنے والے حملوں سے، دن کے ظاہر ہونے والے خطرات سے، اور ہر ایسے خوفناک معاملے سے جسے میں نہیں جانتا لیکن اس سے ڈرتا ہوں، اور ایسی ہر مصیبت سے جس کے نازل ہونے کا مجھے اندیشہ ہے اور اگر وہ مجھ پر وارد ہوجائے تو میں اسے سنبھال نہ سکوں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنَّ عَقِيْدَتِىْ تَوْحِيْدُكَ وَهِمَّتِىْ تَامِيْلُكَ وَمُعَوَّلِىْ عَلٰی اِنْعَامِكَ فَلَا تَحْرِمْنِيْ مَا اَرْتَجِيْهِ، بِلَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ، يَا لَا اِلهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ، بِلَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ اِكْفِنِيْ مَخَاوِفِىْ وَاَنِلْنِيْ مَطَالِبِىْ، وَمَنْ ظَلَمَنِيْ اَوْ خِفْتُهٗ مِنْ سُلْطَانٍ اَوْ شَيْطَانٍ اَوْ كُلِّ اِنْسَانٍ، فَقَدْ جَعَلْتَ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ عَلٰى قَلْبِهٖ كَهَيَعَصْ حَمَعَسْقَ شَاهَتِ الْوُجُوْهُ فَغُلِبُوْا هُنَالِكَ وَانْقَلَبُوْا صَاغِرِيْنَ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُوْنَ، صَهَ صَهَ صَهَ صَهَ صَهَ صَهَ صَهَ (كَتَبَ اللهُ لَاَغْلِبَنَّ اَنَا وَرُسُلِىْ اَنَّ اللهَ قَوِىٌّ عَزِيْزٌ) (فَسَيَكْفِيْكَهُمُ الله وَهُوَ السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُ) حَسْبِىَ اللهُ، لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلىِّ الْعَظِيْمِ۔
Allaahumma inna 'aqeedatee tawheeduka wahimmatee taameeluka wamu'awwalee 'alaa in'aamika falaa tahrimnee maa artajeehi, bilaa ilaaha illaa anta, yaa laa ilha illaa anta, bilaa ilaaha illaa anta ikfinee makhaawifee wa-anilnee mataalibee, waman zalamanee aw khiftuhoo min sultaanin aw shaytaanin aw kulli insaanin, faqad ja'alta laa ilaaha illaa anta 'alaa qalbihee kahaya'as hama'asqa shaahati al-wujoohu faghuliboo hunaalika wanqalaboo saaghireena fahum laa yubsiroona, saha saha saha saha saha saha saha (kataba allaahu la-aghlibanna anaa warusulee anna allaaha qawiyyun 'azeezun) (fasayakfeekahumu allaah wahuwa as-samee'u al-'aleemu) hasbiya allaahu, laa hawla walaa quwwata illaa billaahi al-'alyyi al-'azeem.
O Allah, my creed is Your Oneness, my aspiration is hoping in You, and my reliance is on Your bounties, so do not deprive me of what I hope for. By there is no god except You, O there is no god except You, by there is no god except You. Save me from all that I fear and fulfill all my needs. And one who has oppressed me or whom I fear from the ruler or Satan or all the men, I have placed "There is no god but You" upon his heart. KAAF HAA YAA AIYN SAAD, HAA MEEM AIYN SEEN QAAF. All the faces were destroyed. Thus they were vanquished there, and they went back abased while they did not perceive. Pst! Hush! Quiet, Pst Pst Pst Pst! Allah has decreed: I will most certainly prevail, I and My apostles; surely Allah is Strong, Mighty. So Allah will suffice you against them, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing. Allah is sufficient for me. There is no power and strength except by Allah, the Exalted and the Mighty.
اے اللہ! بے شک میرا عقیدہ تیری توحید پر قائم ہے، اور میری ہمت و کوشش تیرے ہی تک پہنچنے کی ہے، اور میرا بھروسہ تیرے ہی انعام و فضل پر ہے پس مجھے اس چیز سے محروم نہ فرما جس کی میں تیرے در سے امید رکھتا ہوں۔ لا إلہ إلا أنت اے وہ ذات! تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، اے وہ جس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں! اے وہ جس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں! میرے خوف کی تمام جگہوں میں کفایت فرما دے اور میری تمام جائز تمنائیں پوری فرما دے۔ اور جو کوئی مجھ پر ظلم کرے، یا میں کسی حکمران، یا شیطان، یا کسی انسان کے شر سے خوف محسوس کروں تو میں نے تیرے کلمے لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ کو اس کے دل پر مقرر کردیا ہے، (کلماتِ مخصوصہ) كَهَيَعَصْ حَمَعَسْقَ (قرآنی اعلان) شَاهَتِ الْوُجُوهُ ان کے چہرے بگڑ جائیں، فَغُلِبُوا هُنَالِكَ وَانْقَلَبُوا صَاغِرِينَ وہ اسی مقام پر مغلوب ہوں، اور ذلیل و خوار ہو کر پلٹیں، اور وہ کچھ نہ دیکھ سکیں فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ۔ صَهَ صَهَ صَهَ صَهَ صَهَ صَهَ صَهَ (خاموش رہو! مفلوج ہو جاؤ! بے اثر ہو جاؤ!) (قرآنی نصرت کا اعلان) كَتَبَ اللهُ لَأَغْلِبَنَّ أَنَا وَرُسُلِيْ، إِنَّ اللهَ قَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ اللہ نے لکھ دیا ہے: میں اور میرے رسول ضرور غالب ہو کر رہیں گے۔ بے شک اللہ قوت والا، عزت والا ہے۔ فَسَيَكْفِيكَهُمُ اللهُ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ اللہ تمہیں ان کے شر سے کافی ہوگا اور وہ سننے والا، جاننے والا ہے۔ حَسْبِيَ اللهُ اللہ میرا کافی ہے۔ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ نہ کوئی طاقت ہے اور نہ کوئی قوت مگر اللہ بلند و عظیم کی طرف سے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
