Naming Ameer al-Momineen Ali ibn Abi Talib (a), Ali ibn Husain (a), Muhammad ibn Ali (a) and Jafar ibn Muhammad (a) in turn, the reciter asks for help in obedience to Allah and in pleasing Him, for requital of those who have oppressed them and continue to trouble them, for freedom from want so as to ask of no one else, and for protection from harm at the hands of satan and of a ruler who uses his power to oppress. مؤلف کہتے ہیں : شیخ کفعمیؒ نے بلد الامین میں ایک مفصل دعا نقل کی ہے جس کا نام دعائے فرج ہے اور اس کے ذیل میں یہ دعاء توسل بھی مذکور ہے۔ اس بارے میں میرا گمان یہ ہے کہ خواجہ نصیر الدین طوسیؒ کے مُرَتَّبَہ بارہ امامؑ کی یہ دعاء توسل ہے کہ جس میں حججِ طاہرہ پرصلوات بھی ساتھ ہی ذکر ہوئی ہے۔یہ دعا پُر معنی خطبہ میں موجود ہے کہ جس کو کفعمیؒ نے مصباح کے آخر میں ذکر کیا ہے سید علی خانؒ نے کلم طیب میں شیخ صہرشتیؒ کی کتاب قبس المصباح سے ایک دعاء توسل نقل فرمائی ہے کہ جس کے متعلق ان کی لکھی ہوئی تشریح و تفصیل کی یہاں گنجائش نہیں۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلٰى اِبْنَتِهٖ وَعَلٰى اِبْنَيْهَا وَاَسْئَلُكَ بِهِمْ اَنْ تُعِيْنَنِىْ عَلٰى طَاعَتِكَ وَرِضْوَانِكَ وَاَنْ تُبَلِّغَنِىْ بِهِمْ اَفْضَلَ مَا بَلَّغْتَ اَحَدًا مِنْ اَوْلِيَائِكَ اِنَّكَ جَوَادٌ كَرِيْمٌ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa'alaa ibnatihee wa'alaa ibnayhaa wa-as'aluka bihim an tu'eenanee 'alaa taa'atika waridwaanika wa-an tuballighanee bihim afdala maa ballaghta ahadan min awliyaa'ika innaka jawaadun kareem.
Oh Allah send your blessings on Mohammad and his daughter and her children and I ask you for their sake that you help me in your obedience and in pleasing you and because of them make me attain the loftiest of position near you like your sincere worshipers. Verily you give generously when asked and without asking.
اے معبود! حضرت محمدؐ پر ان کی دختر اور ان کے دونوں بیٹوں پر رحمت فرما اور میں ان کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ میری مدد فرما تاکہ میں اطاعت و رضا پاؤں ان کے ذریعے سے تو مجھ کو بہترین مقام پر پہنچا جو تیرے ولیوں کے لئے مقرر ہے بے شک تو سخی و مہربان ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِحَقِّ اَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ عَلِىِّ بْنِ اَبِيْ طَالِبٍ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ اِلَّا انْتَقَمْتَ بِهٖ مِمَّنْ ظَلَمَنِىْ وَغَشَمَنِىْ وَآذَانِىْ وَانْطَوٰى عَلٰى ذٰلِكَ وَكَفَيْتَنِىْ بِهٖ مَؤُنَةَ كُلِّ اَحَدٍ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bihaqqi ameeri al-mu'mineena 'aliyyi ibni abee taalibin 'alayhi as-salaamu illaa intaqamta bihee mimman zalamanee waghashamanee wa-aazaanee wantawaa 'alaa zaalika wakafaytanee bihee ma'unata kulli ahadin yaa arhama ar-raahimeen.
Oh Allah I ask you for the sake of Ameer Al Momineen Ali ibn Abi Talib (a.s) that you take revenge from the people who have oppressed me and are my enemies and have troubled me and continue to do so and for his sake make me free from wants so that I should not ask from anyone else, oh the most merciful.
اے معبود! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں امیر المومنین علی ابن ابی طالبؑ کے واسطے کے ساتھ کہ تو اس شخص سے بدلہ لے جس نے مجھ پر ظلم کیا دھوکہ دیا دکھ پہنچایا اور ایسا کرنے پر آمادہ ہے اور ہر ایسے شخص سے میری کفایت فرمااے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِحَقِّ وَلِيِّكَ عَلِیِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ اِلَّا كَفَيْتَنِىْ بِهٖ مَؤُنَةَ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ مَرِيْدٍ وَسُلْطَانٍ عَنِيْدٍ يَتَقَوَّىْ عَلَىَّ بِبَطْشِهٖ وَيَنْتَصِرُ عَلَىَّ بِجُنْدِهٖ اِنَّكَ جَوَادٌ كَرِيْمٌ يَا وَهَّابُ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bihaqqi waliyyika 'aliyyi ibni al-husayni 'alayhi as-salaamu illaa kafaytanee bihee ma'unata kulli shaytaanin mareedin wasultaanin 'aneedin yataqawway 'alayya bibatshihee wayantasiru 'alayya bijundihee innaka jawaadun kareemun yaa wahhaab.
Oh Allah I ask you for the sake of Ali ibn Husain (a.s) that you repel the evil that could occur through satan and the arrogant and stubborn king who uses his power to torture me and acts like he can win over me because of his army. Verily you give generously when asked and without asking, oh bestower.
اے معبود!میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں تیرے ولی علیؑ ابن الحسینؑ کے حق کے واسطے سے کہ تو ہر سرکش شیطان اور ہر ستم گر بادشاہ سے جو مجھ پر قبضہ کی قوت رکھتا ہے اور اپنے لشکر سے مجھ پر غالب آسکتا ہےمیری کفایت فرما بے شک تو سخی و مہربان ہے اے بہت دینے والے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِحَقِّ وَلِيَّيْكَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ وَجَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَامُ اِلَّا اَعَنْتَنِىْ بِهِمَا عَلٰى اَمْرِ آخِرَتِىْ بِطَاعَتِكَ وَرِضْوَانِكَ وَبَلَّغْتَنِىْ بِهِمَا مَا يُرْضِيْكَ اِنَّكَ فَعَّالٌ لِمَا تُرِيْدُ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bihaqqi waliyyayka muhammadi ibni 'aliyyin waja'fari ibni muhammadin 'alayhimaa as-salaamu illaa a'antanee bihimaa 'alaa amri aakhiratee bitaa'atika waridwaanika waballaghtanee bihimaa maa yurdeeka innaka fa''aalun limaa tureed.
Oh Allah I ask you for the sake of Mohammad ibn Ali (a.s) and Jafar ibn Mohammad (a.s) that you help me through them for my hereafter that I could obey you and make you pleased with me and through them make me attain the position where you are pleased with me. Verily you do as you will.
اے معبود! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں تیرے دونوں ولیوں محمدؑ ابن علی اور جعفر ابن محمدؑ کے حق کے واسطے سے کہ ان کے طفیل آخرت کے معاملے میں میری مدد فرما کہ میں تیری عبادت سے تیری رضا حاصل کر سکوں اور ان کے وسیلے سے مجھے پسندیدہ مقام تک پہنچادے بے شک تو جو چاہے کرسکتا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِحَقِّ وَلِيِّكَ مُوْسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ اِلَّا عَافَيْتَنِىْ بِهٖ فِىْ جَمِيْعِ جَوَارِحِىْ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَابَطَنَ يَا جَوَادُ يَا كَرِيْمُ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bihaqqi waliyyika moosaa ibni ja'farin 'alayhi as-salaamu illaa 'aafaytanee bihee fee jamee'i jawaarihee maa zahara minhaa wamaabatana yaa jawaadu yaa kareem.
Oh Allah I ask you for the sake of Musa ibn Jafar (a.s) that you grant all my internal and external body parts well-being, oh the free giver and generous.
اے معبود! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں تیرے ولی موسیٰ ا بن جعفرؑ کے حق کے واسطے سے کہ میرے ظاہری اور باطنی اعضاء بدن کو صحت و سلامتی سے ہم کنار کردے اے سخی اے مہربان۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِحَقِّ وَلِيِّكَ الرِّضَا عَلِىِّ بْنِ مُوْسٰى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ اِلَّا سَلَّمْتَنِىْ بِهٖ فِىْ جَمِيْعِ اَسْفَارِىْ فِى الْبَرَارِىْ وَالْبِحَارِ وَالْجِبَالِ وَالْقِفَارِ وَالْاَوْدِيَةِ وَالْغِيَاضِ مِنْ جَمِيْعِ مَا اَخَافُهٗ وَاَحْذَرُهٗ اِنَّكَ رَؤُفٌ رَّحِيْمٌ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bihaqqi waliyyika ar-ridaa 'aliyyi ibni moosaa 'alayhi as-salaamu illaa sallamtanee bihee fee jamee'i asfaaree fee al-baraaree wal-bihaari wal-jibaali wal-qifaari wal-awdiyati wal-ghiyaadi min jamee'i maa akhaafuhoo wa-ahzaruhoo innaka ra'ufun raheem.
Oh Allah I ask you for the sake of Reza Ali ibn Musa (a.s) that keep me safe in all journeys-on land and water, in the mountains and the deserts and in the valleys and the plains from all the things that I fear and I’m wary of, verily you are kind and merciful.
اے معبود! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں تیرے ولی علیؑ رضا ابن موسیٰؑ کے حق کے واسطے سے کہ ان کے طفیل مجھے تمام سفروں میں جو میدانوں اور دریاؤں، پہاڑوں اور صحراؤں اور وادیوں اور جنگلوں میں ہوں ہر خوف ناک اور خطرناک چیز سے محفوظ فرما بے شک تو نرمی کرنے والا مہربان ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِحَقِّ وَلِيِّكَ مُحمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِي عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ اِلَّا جُدْتَ بِهٖ عَلَىَّ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَتَفَضَّلْتَ بِهٖ عَلَىَّ مِنْ وُسْعِكَ وَ وَسَّعْتَ عَلَىَّ رِزْقَكَ وَاَغْنَيْتَنِىْ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ وَجَعَلْتَ حَاجَتِىْ اِلَيْكَ وَقَضَاهَا عَلَيْكَ اِنَّكَ لِمَا تَشَاءُ قَدِيْرٌ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bihaqqi waliyyika muhmmadi ibni 'alee 'alayhi as-salaamu illaa judta bihee 'alayya min fadlika watafaddalta bihee 'alayya min wus'ika wa wassa'ta 'alayya rizqaka wa-aghnaytanee 'amman siwaaka waja'alta haajatee ilayka waqadaahaa 'alayka innaka limaa tashaa'u qadeer.
Oh Allah I ask you for the sake of Mohammad ibn Ali (a.s) that bless me with your favour and make these blessings a cause of comfort for me and increase my sustenance so that I don’t ask from anyone but you and you be the only source of fulfillment of my needs, verily you have power over all things.
اے معبود!میں تجھ سے تیرے ولی محمدؑ ابن علیؑ کے حق کے واسطے سے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ ان کے طفیل مجھ پر اپنا فضل اور کرم فرمااپنی وسعت سے میرے رزق میں اضافہ کردے اور اپنے علاوہ ہر ایک سے بے نیاز فرما اور صرف اپنی ذات کا محتاج رکھ اور حاجتیں پوری فرما بے شک تو جو چاہے کرسکتا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِحَقِّ وَلِيِّكَ عَلِىِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَامُ اِلَّا اَعَنْتَنِىْ بِهٖ عَلٰى تَاْدِيَةِ فُرُوْضِكَ وَبِرِّ اِخْوَانِىَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَسَهِّلْ ذٰلِكَ لِىْ وَاقْرُنْهُ بِالْخَيْرِ وَاَعِنِّىْ عَلٰى طَاعَتِكَ بِفَضْلِكَ يَا رَحِيْمُ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bihaqqi waliyyika 'aliyyi ibni muhammadin 'alayhimaa as-salaamu illaa a'antanee bihee 'alaa ta'diyati furoodika wabirri ikhwaaniya al-mu'mineena wasahhil zaalika lee waqrunhu bil-khayri wa-a'innee 'alaa taa'atika bifadlika yaa raheem.
Oh Allah I ask you for the sake of Ali ibn Mohammad (a.s) that you help me to fulfill my obligations and that I may be useful for my brothers in faith and make it easy for me so that it would be with good intentions and help me in your obedience through your blessings, oh merciful.
اے معبود!میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں تیرے ولی علیؑ ابن محمدؑ کے حق کے واسطے سے کہ ان کی خاطر میری مدد فرما کہ میں اپنے فرائض ادا کر سکوں اور اپنے مومن بھائیوں سے نیکی کر سکوں یہ کام مجھ پر آسان کردے نیکی پر قائم رکھ اور اپنے کرم سے مجھے توفیق دے کہ تیری عبادت کر سکوں اے مہربان۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِحَقِّ وَلِيِّكَ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيْ عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَامُ اِلَّا اَعَنْتَنِىْ بِهٖ عَلٰى اَمْرِ آخِرَتِىْ بِطَاعَتِكَ وَرِضْوَانِكَ وَسَرَرْتَنِىْ فِىْ مُنْقَلَبِىْ وَمَثْوَاىَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bihaqqi waliyyika al-hasani ibni 'alee 'alayhimaa as-salaamu illaa a'antanee bihee 'alaa amri aakhiratee bitaa'atika waridwaanika wasarartanee fee munqalabee wamathwaaya birahmatika yaa arhama ar-raahimeen.
Oh Allah I ask you for the sake of Hasan ibn Ali (a.s) that you help me for my affairs of the hereafter and that I can obey you and please you so that I would be glad when I face you on the day of judgment and when I face my last abode through your mercy, oh the most merciful.
اے معبود میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں تیرے ولی حسنؑ ابن علی علیہماسلام کے حق کے واسطے سے کہ ان کے طفیل میری مدد فرما امرِ آخرت میں تاکہ میں تیری بندگی کر سکوں اور تیری رضا پاسکوں اور مجھے خوشی دے میری بازگشت اور میرے مقام میں اپنی رحمت سے اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِحَقِّ وَلِيِّكَ وَحُجَّتِكَ صَاحِبِ الزَّمَانِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ اِلَّا اَعَنْتَنِىْ بِهٖ عَلٰى جَمِيْعِ اُمُوْرِىْ وَكَفَيْتَنِىْ بِهٖ مَؤُنَةَ كُلِّ مُوْذٍ وَطَاغٍ وَبَاغٍ وَاَعَنْتَنِىْ بِهٖ فَقَدْ بَلَغَ مَجْهُوْدِىْ وَكَفَيْتَنِىْ بِهِ كُلَّ عَدُوٍّ وَهَمٍّ وَغَمٍّ وَدَيْنٍ وَعَنِّىْ وَعَنْ وَلَدِىْ وَجَمِيْعِ اَهْلِىْ وَاِخْوَانِىْ وَمَنْ يَعْنِيْنِىْ اَمْرُهٗ وَخَاصَّتِىْ آمِيْنَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bihaqqi waliyyika wahujjatika saahibi az-zamaani 'alayhi as-salaamu illaa a'antanee bihee 'alaa jamee'i umooree wakafaytanee bihee ma'unata kulli moozin wataaghin wabaaghin wa-a'antanee bihee faqad balagha majhoodee wakafaytanee bihi kulla 'aduwwin wahammin waghammin wadaynin wa'annee wa'an waladee wajamee'i ahlee wa-ikhwaanee waman ya'neenee amruhoo wakhaassatee aameena rabba al-'aalameen.
Oh Allah I ask you for the sake of your Hujjat Sahebaz Zaman (a.t.f.s) that you help me through him in all my affairs and repel from me all the evil which can occur from any oppressor ,enemy and help me through the Imam (a.s) because it is out of my circle of attainment and repel from me all the enemies and sorrows and worries and all debts, from me and my children and my family and my brothers and all those who are concerned to me and all the people who are close to me. So be it, oh the lord of the worlds.
اے معبود! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں تیرے ولی اور تیری حجت صاحب الزمانؑ کے حق کے واسطے سے کہ ان کے طفیل میرے تمام کاموں میں میری مدد فرما اوران کے ذریعے میری کفایت فرما ہر اذیت دینے والے سرکش اور باغی سے اور ان کی خاطر حمایت فرما کہ اب مجھ میں تاب نہیں رہی اور کفایت کر ہر دشمن سے ہر غم و اندیشے اور قرض سے میری اور میری اولاد کی اور میرے اہل کی اور میرے بھائیوں کی اور اس کی جس کا مجھ سے تعلق ہے اور میرے قریب ہے ایسا ہی کر اے عالمین کے پروردگار۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
