Dua-e-Yamaniدُعاء یمانی

In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

O Allah! You are the master of the Universe. There is no God except You. And I am your servant. I have oppressed myself. I confess my sins. So forgive my sins. There is no God except You, the Pardoner. O Allah I praise you and you are suitable for this praise you granted me whatever I wish for and sent me your best favours and made me happy due to these favours and gave me your favourable opinion. and You granted me of Your favour that reached me and of Your defence of me. and Your granting me success and answering my supplications. As far as I pray to you with keenness and calls you with sincerity of intention and I extremely keep hopes from you and I find you present every where. You are never too late to improve my dealings and takes care of my condition and keeps secret of my faults. Your good behaviour is never separated for a moment from me. Ever since You set me down in the abode of choice to see what I would send ahead for the abode of permanence, I am Your freed one.

یا اللہ! تو بادشاہ ہے تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، اور میں تیرا بندہ ہوں، اپنے اوپر ظلم کیا ہے، اپنے گناہوں کا اقرار کرتا ہوں، میرے گناہوں کو معاف فرما دے۔ اے وحدہٗ لا شریک اور بے انتہا معاف کرنے والے خدا۔ الہٰی! میں تیری حمد کرتا ہوں اور تو اس لئے لائق حمد ہے کہ مجھے اپنے پسندیدہ انعامات سے مخصوص فرمایا، اور مجھ تک بہترین احسانات پہنچائے، اور اس بنا پر بھی کہ مجھے ان چیزوں سے سرفراز فرمایا، اور اپنی رضا عطا فرمائی، تیری طرف سے انعامات پہنچے، تو نے میری مصیبتوں کو دور کیا، مجھے توفیق دی، میری دعائیں قبول فرمائیں، حتّیٰ کہ میں بڑی رغبت کے ساتھ تجھ سے مناجات کرتا ہوں، بڑے خلوص سے تجھے پکارتا ہوں، اور حد یہ ہے کہ تجھ سے تمنا کر تا ہوں تو تجھے ہر جگہ جلوہ گر پاتا ہوں، تو میرے معاملات کی اصلاح اور میرے حالات کی دیکھ بھال، میری لغزشوں کا پردہ پوش ہے۔ تیرا حسن سلوک ایک لمحے کے لئے بھی مجھ سے الگ نہیں ہوا، جب سے بھی تو نے اس منزل کو اختیار میں اتارا کہ میں تیری بارگاہ میں پیش کش کے لئے سوچوں، تیرا احسان اس لئے تھا کہ میں تیرا آزاد کردہ غلام ہوں۔

O my Lord! All troubles and all confusions and sorrows and sufferings attacked severely from everywhere for your decisions and kept me occupied in hard troubles. I do not remember you have done anything except your good behaviour and I have not seen anything accept your mercy. Your good virtues and your grace continuously accompanied me. Your bounties were accompanying continuously. Fear did not frighten me due to your great favour. You fulfilled my desires and accompanied me in my travel and increase my honour in my stability, recovery from illness and make my destination and relapse pleasant and did not allow my enemies to laugh at me. Those who attack on me, you attack on them and prevent me from enemy's enmity.

بارِالہٰا! تمام مصائب اور ان تمام پریشانیوں، اور غموں میں جن میں رنج اور تیرے فیصلوں کے مقابلوں نے شدّت سے حملہ کیا، اور بلاؤں کی سختیوں نے مصروف رکھا، مجھے نہیں یاد کہ تو نے اس وقت حسن سلوک کے علاوہ کچھ اور کیا ہو، میں نے تیرے فضل کے علاوہ اور کچھ نہ دیکھا، تیری نیکیاں میرے شامل حال اور تیرا فضل مجھ پر متواتر تھا، تیری نعمتیں مجھ پر مسلسل آتی رہیں، وہ بڑے بڑے کرم کئے کہ میرا خوف بروئے کار نہ آ سکا، بلکہ تونے میری تمنائیں پوری کیں، تو ہی میرے ساتھ سفر میں رہا، میرے قیام میں عزّت افزائی کی، بیماریوں میں تندرستی اور زحمتوں میں نجات، میری منزل اور بازگشت کو خوشگوار بنایا، میرے دشمنوں کو ہنسنے نہ دیا، جس نے مجھ پر حملہ کیا اس پر تونے حملہ کیا، جس نے مجھ سے دشمنی کی اس کے شر سے میری نگہبانی فرمائی۔

O my Lord! There were some hidden enemies who tried hard to kill me. They drew the sword of their enmity against me, sharpened the point of their dagger to kill me, and whetted the edge of its blade for me. and he mixed for me his deadly poisons and aimed at me his unerring arrows, and he intended to make me suffer what I dislike and make me gulp the deadly bitterness of his enmity. O My Lord! You saw that I am unable to bear all these and I can't stand face to face to oppose their challenge and I am all alone and they waiting for a chance and I am unable to succeed. Then O my Lord, you sent your divine help and gave me support and made them weak and inspite of biggest gang made them alone and gave me strength to achieve eminence and returned them back with sorrow and they could not satisfy their desires and could not suppress their anger and demand with constant taunting to hide their weakness. When he returned back turning his face, his party broke their promise and their desires became lifeless.

پروردگارا! کتنے ایسے دشمن تھے جنہوں نے مجھ پر اپنی دشمنی کی تلواریں برہنہ کیں، اور مجھے مارنے کے لئے اپنی شمشیروں کی باڑھ تیز کی اور اس کی تیزی کو میرا نشانہ بنایا، انہیں میرے لئے زہر قاتل میں بجھایا میرے لئے اپنے تیروں کے نشانہ دُرست کئے اور دل میں ٹھانی کہ مجھے ناپسند باتوں پر تیار کریں، مجھے دشمنی کی زہریلی تلخیوں کے گھونٹ پلائیں، مگر اے معبود! تونے دیکھ لیا کہ میں ان سخت ترین حادثوں کو برداشت کرنے کی طاقت نہیں رکھتا، اور جو لوگ مجھ سے لڑنے آرہے ہیں ان سے سربرآ نہیں ہو سکتا، اور ان بکثرت حملہ آوروں کے مقابلہ میں میں تنہا ہوں، اور وہ اس بات کی تاک میں ہیں جس کے لئے نہ میں نے سوچا تھا نہ اس جیسے موقعہ پر میں کامیاب ہو سکتا ہوں، تو اے پروردگار تونے اپنی امداد سے میری تائید کی، اور اپنی فتح سے میرے بازوؤں کو قوی بنایا، پھر میرے لئے دشمن کی تیزی کو کند کر دیا، اور اسے بڑے سے بڑے جتھے کے باوجود اکیلا کر دیا، مجھے اس پر سر بلندی عطا کی، اور اسے حسرت زدہ واپس کیا، اس کی پیاس نہ بجھ سکی، اس کے غصّے کی آگ ٹھنڈی نہ ہو سکی، اس نے اپنی کمزوری پر بوٹیاں کاٹیں، وہ منہ پھیر کر پلٹا تو اسکی فوجیں وعدہ خلاف، اور امیدیں بے جان ہو چکی تھیں۔

O Allah! Many rebels tried to be superior by their crafty tricks and tried to catch me and came to me silently just as wild beasts come to their prey and the prey waiting for a chance to escape from it. He was showing his flattering smile on the face. O My Lord! When you find his fraudness in his mind, You turned him headlong into his own pit, toppled him into the depth of his own hole, turned him back on his heels, pelted him with his own stone, pierced him with his own arrowhead, strangled him with his own bowstring, turned his plot back upon his own throat, and bound him fast in his own remorse. So he became disappointed and weak. Though he was restive in the beginning and now he became despicable and helpless. He was very strong in the beginning and he has become disgraced and a prisoner. He wanted to see me tied in the strings and if I would be catch and if you would not send your blessing, the same calamity would fall on me instead of him.

خدا وندا! کتنے سرکشوں نے اپنی مکاریوں سے مجھ پر بالا دستی چاہی اور میرے لئے اپنا شکاری جال بچھائے اور میری طرف یوں دبے پاؤں آیا جیسے درندے اپنے شکار کے لئے آتے ہیں، اور فرصت کا منتظر اور شکار پر جھپٹنے کا موقعہ دیکھ رہا ہو، وہ خوشامدا نہ مسکراہٹیں اور چہرے کی کشادگیاں دکھاتا تھا۔ اے میرے معبود! جب تونے اس دل کی فریب کاری اور فطرت کی مذمّت خیزیاں دیکھیں تو اس کے دماغ پر زخم کاری لگا دیا، اور سر کے بل اسی کے کھدے ہوے کنوئیں میں گرا دیا، اسے پچھلی طرف پلٹا دیا، اسے اسی کے پتھر مارے اور اسے اسی کی تلوار سے زخمی کیا، اسی کی رسیوں سے اس کا گلا گھونٹ دیا، اس کا مکر اسی کے گلے میں اُلٹ دیا، اسے اس کی ندامتوں میں گرفتار کر لیا۔ اس لئے وہ ناکام و کمزور ہو گیا، حالانکہ پہلے بڑا سرکش بنا پھرتا تھا، حقیر و عاجز ہو گیا۔ حالانکہ پہلے بڑا زبردست تھا، اب ذلیل و قیدی ہے، انہیں رسیوں میں جن میں مجھے دیکھنا چاہتا تھا، اور میں گرفتار ہو جاتا اگر تیری رحمت نہ ہوتی تو مجھ پر بھی وہی اُفتاد پڑتی جو اس پر پڑی۔

So, all praise is for a Lord of Power who is not contested, and for a Guardian of forbearance who does not hasten, and for the Self-Subsisting who is never heedless, and for the Forbearing who is never ignorant. I call upon You, O my God! Seeking refuge in You, trusting in the speed of Your response, relying upon what I have always known of Your excellent defense on my behalf, knowing that whoever seeks shelter in the shadow of Your protection is not oppressed, nor do calamities strike the one who takes refuge in the stronghold of Your victory. So You have delivered me, O Lord, by Your power, and You have saved me from his might by Your graciousness and Your favor.

اب حمد و ثنا ہے اس پروردگار کی جس سے اُلجھا نہیں جا سکتا، اور اس سرپرست حقیقی کی جو بہت متحمّل ہے جلدی نہیں کرتا۔ وہ قیوم جو غافل نہیں ہوتا، وہ بردبار جو سُبک سر نہیں ہوتا۔ اے پروردگار! تجھے پکارتا ہوں، تجھی سے پناہ مانگتا ہوں، تیری جلد قبولیت پر بھروسہ کرتا ہوں کہ اسے ہمیشہ سے جانتا ہوں اور یہ مانتا ہوں کہ تو بہترین انداز سے میرے دشمن کو دور کرتا ہے، اور یہ بھی جانتا ہوں کہ جو تیرے سایہ الفت میں آگیا وہ غم نہیں اُٹھا سکتا، اور سخت مصیبتیں اسے کھٹکھٹا نہیں سکتیں۔ جو تیری امداد کے قلعہ میں پناہ لے لے، اے پالنے والے مجھے اپنی قدرت کے ذریعے آزاد کرا دیا اور اپنے احسان و کرم کے ذریعے دشمن کی سختیوں سے نجات دلا دی۔

O Allah! There were so many evils in my way but you cleared them. There were so many bounties, that you granted and streams of generosity You made to flow, and the eyes of misfortunes You blotted out, and rising clouds of mercy You spread out, and the coverings of distress You lifted, and the clouds of trial You dispersed, and the shield of well-being You clothed me in, and occurrences You decreed did not elude You when You sought them, nor resist You when You willed them. O Allah! And how many an evil envier turned on me with his envy, lashed me with the edge of his tongue, pierced me with the slur of his eye, made my honour a target for his shots, and pinned on me traits that have always been his own; but You sufficed me against him.

خدا وندا! برائیوں کے کتنے بادل تھے جنہیں تونے صاف کر دیا، اور کتنے نعمتوں کے آسمان تھے جنہیں تونے برسایا، کس قدر کرامت کی نہریں ہیں جو تونے چلائیں اور کتنے حادثوں کے چشمے تھے جنہیں تونے مٹا دیا، کتنی رحمت کی گھٹائیں ہیں جنہیں تونے پھیلایا، کتنی غم کی شدت ہیں جو تونے صاف کیں، کتنے بلاؤں کے بادل تھے جنہیں تونے منتشر کیا، کتنے سلامتی کے خلعت تھے جنہیں تونے پہنایا، اور کتنے رونما ہونے والے واقعات تھے جن کو تونے معین فرمایا، جب کوئی چیز تو طلب کرلے تو کوئی بات تجھے تھکا نہیں سکتی، لہذا جب تو ارادہ کرتا ہے تو کوئی چیز تجھ سے باز نہیں رہ سکتی۔ یا اللہ! کتنے بدکار حاسد تھے جنہوں نے اپنے حسد کے ساتھ مجھ سے بلندی چاہی اور اپنی چرب زبانی سے مجھے دُکھ دیا، اپنی گرم نگاہوں سے مجھے جلایا، میری آبرو کو اپنے تیروں کا نشانہ بنایا، مجھے ان عادتوں کا پابند بنایا جس میں وہ ہمیشہ سے تھا، مگر تونے اس کے معاملات میں میری سربراہی کی۔

O Allah, I had many good faiths and You proved it and removed my poverty and ignorance and increased my livelihood. You removed my weakness and gave me strength and solved difficulties. Also changed my poverty and bestowed bounties. We can't ask what You are doing and there is no stinginess whatever You grant. You granted me whatever I asked and if I didn't ask, You preceded first and whenever I requested, You never disappointed me. You refused anything but beneficence, favour, bounty and blessing, while I refused anything but plunging into acts of disobedience to You, violating what You have made sacred, transgressing Your bounds, neglecting Your threat, and obeying my enemy and Yours; yet You did not hold back from completing Your beneficence and the succession of Your favours, nor did that restrain me from committing what angers You.

خدایا! میرے بہت سے اچھے اعتقادات تھے جن کو ثابت کر دکھایا، اور کتنی مفلسی و تہی مائیگی تھی جسے دور فرمایا اور وسعت عطا کی، کتنی پریشانی تھی جنہیں تو نے در کر دی، کتنی تکلیفیں تھی جنہیں دور کیا، کتنی غربتیں تھیں جن کو بدل دیا، کتنی نعمتیں تھیں جو عطا فرمائیں، جو تو کرتا ہے اس کے بارے میں سوال نہیں کیا جا سکتا اور جو عطا کرتا ہے اس میں بخل نہیں کرتا۔ جب مانگا گیا عطا کیا، اور اگر نہ مانگا گیا تو خود سے پہل کی، اور جب بھی فضل سے درخواست کی گئی تو تونے ناکام نہ کیا، تونے انعام و احسان و فضل کے علاوہ کچھ اور کرنے سے انکار کیا ہے، اور میرا یہ حال ہے کہ تیری نافرمانیوں میں داخل ہونے اور تیرے محترم قوانین کی توہین کرنے کے علاوہ کچھ نہ کیا، تیری حدوں سے آگے بڑھا تیرے عذاب سے غافل رہا، اپنے دشمن اور تیرے مخالف (شیطان) کی پیروی کی، پھر بھی تو تکمیل احسان اور تسلسل انعام سے باز نہ رہا، اور مجھ (بدبخت) کو اس بات نے تیرے اسبابِ غضب سے نہ روکا۔

O My Lord! This is the station of one who confesses to You his shortcoming in fulfilling Your right and gives evidence that Your bounties and guardianship is completed. O My Lord! O Cherisher! Grant me that, that I can reach by means of Your bounty and guidance for Your willings and can be safe from Your wrath, because You can do whatever You like and can order whatever you like. You have power over all things.

بارا الہا! اب یہ وہ منزل ہے جہاں تیرا اقراری مجرم تیرے حقوق کی ادائیگی میں کوتاہی کا معترف ہے، اپنے بارے میں یہ گواہی دیتا ہے کہ تیری نعمتیں اور تیری سرپرستی مکمل ہوئی۔ اے معبود! اے پروردگار مجھے وہ عطا فرما جس کے ذریعے میں تیری رحمت تک پہنچ سکوں، اور اس (توفیق) کو تیری رضا تک پہنچنے کا ذریعہ بنا لوں، اور تیرے عذاب سے محفوظ رہوں، کیونکہ تو جو چاہے کر سکتا ہے، جو چاہے اس کا حکم دے سکتا ہے اور توہی ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے۔

O my Lord! My praise is for You and will remain forever till centuries with various purities by way of glorifications. For only Your remembrance and Your pleasure I shall praise You and I shall mention Your Greatness in a friendly manner. I shall mention Your qualities at length, giving the lie to those who ascribe rivals to You. As no one is Your helper and no one is Your partner in Your sovereignty. You were not seen when You confined things to their various natures, and You fashioned the creatures in their various forms; and imaginations have not pierced the veils of the unseen to reach You, so that I might conceive of You as bounded in Your greatness, or of any 'how' in Your eternity, or of contingency in Your pre-existence.

خدا وندا! میری مدح سرائی تیرے لئے یوں ہی جاری رہیگی، اور تیرے لئے میری ثنا گستری ہمیشہ رہیگی، صدیوں سے صدیوں تک طرح طرح کی پاکیزگیاں اور طرح طرح کی تقدیس کے طور پر، فقط تیری ہی یاد اور تیری ہی رضا مندیاں حاصل کرنے کے لئے خالص ترین حمد کرونگا، مخلصانہ طور پر بزرگیاں بیان کرونگا، اہل شرک کو جھٹلانے کے لئے مدّتوں تیرے ان صفات کو بیان کروں گا کہ تو نے اپنی قدرت میں کسی کو مدد گار، اپنی خداوندی میں کسی کو شریک نہیں بنایا، جب تونے چیزوں کو مختلف ارادوں کا پابند بنایا تو کوئی اس وقت تجھے نہ دیکھ سکا، اور تونے ہی مخلوقات کو مختلف قسم کی شکلوں پر پیدا کیا، انسانی وہم تیری بارگاہ تک پہنچنے کے لئے غیب کے پردے چاک نہ کر سکے، میں تجھے تیری عظمت میں محدود نہیں سمجھتا۔ تیری ازلیّت میں کوئی کیفیت نہیں نہ تیری قدامت ذات میں کوئی ممکناتی انداز،

and no high similarity of status can reach to You and no deep mental thoughts can reach to You and no observer's eyes can see Your omnipotence. Your divine attribute is highest than human's attributes. Your honour and grandeur is eminent than human's attributes. What You want to increase does not decrease, and what You want to decrease does not increase. There was no one when You created the world. There was no risk of any opposition then You sent the spirits in the world. Tongues have grown weary of explaining Your attributes, and intellects have fallen short of the essence of knowing You. How can attributes grasp You or directions contain You? Because You are the powerful and pure and eternal and the invisible hand of Heaven forever. You are Unique. No one is there and no one will be there except You.

نہ تیری بارگاہ تک ہمتوں کی بلندیاں پہنچ سکتی ہیں نہ تجھے ذہانتوں کی گہرائیاں پا سکتی ہیں اور نہ دیکھنے والوں کی نگاہیں تیرے جبروتی آستانے اور قدرتِ عظیم کی بارگاہ تک آسکتی ہیں، مخلوقات کی صفتوں میں سے تیری صفت قدرت بہت بلند ہے، ان کی صفت بیانی سے تیری عظمت و کبریائی بہت ممتاز ہے، جسے تو زیادہ کرنا چاہے وہ کم نہیں ہوسکتا اور نہ وہ زیادہ ہو سکتا ہے جسے تو کم کرنا چاہے۔ اس وقت کوئی نہ تھا جب تونے دنیا کو پیدا کیا اور نہ کسی مقابل کا خطور گذرا جب روحوں کی تخلیق فرمائی، زبانیں تیرے اوصاف کی شرح میں گنگ اور عقلیں تیری حقیقی معرفت میں تھکی ہوئی ہیں۔ صفتیں تیری بارگاہ تک کیسے آسکتی ہیں، یا سمتیں تجھے کیسے گھیر سکتی ہیں، کیونکہ تو وہ توانا اور پاک ہے جو ازلی ہے اور ہمیشہ سے پردۂ غیب میں ہے۔ تو ہی یکتا ہے وہاں تیرے سوا کوئی نہیں اور نہ تیرے سوا کوئی اور ہوگا،

The deepest paths of thought are bewildered in Your kingdom and the sight of the discerning falls short of perceiving You and the kings are bend down and are helpless and hang their faces down in shame and beseech before Your dignity and bowed down their heads in shame. Everythings are obedient in comparison of Your nature and the necks of all people are bend before your sovereignty, and there all reckoning goes astray among the shifting of attributes. That is why who ever think for your praise his eyes turn back and his sense confused and amazed.

تیرے ملکوت میں فکر و نظر کے گہرے سے گہرے راستے بھی اُلجھ گئے ہیں اور تجھے سمجھنے میں صاحبانِ بصیرت کی نگاہیں بھی تھک چکی ہیں اور بادشاہ تیری ہیبت کے سامنے خم، اور تیری عزّت کے سامنے عاجزی کی ذلّت کے ساتھ منہ جھکائے ہوئے ہیں، ہر شئی تیری قدرت کے مقابلے میں مطیع، اور تمام گردنیں تیری شاہی کے لئے خم ہیں، اور تیری صفتوں کے رنگا رنگ ہونے کی بنا پر تدبیرِ ذہن گمراہ ہے، اس لئے جو بھی تیری مدح سرائی پر غور کرتا ہے اس کی نگاہیں خود اسی تک تھک کر پلٹ آتی ہیں، اور اس کی عقل حیران و پریشان اور فکر متحیّر ہو جاتی ہے۔

O Allah! Your praise is coherent, continuously and strong forever and never perish. It is not lost in the kingdom, nor effaced in the world, nor diminished in recognition. Yours is praise beyond counting, in the night when it departs and in the dawn when it shines, on land and in the seas, in the mornings and the evenings, at nightfall and at daybreak, at noon and before dawn.

خدا وندا! تیری حمد مسلسل متواتر، لگاتار و مستحکم ہے کہ جو ہمیشہ رہے کبھی فنا نہ ہو، وہ حمد جو ملکوت میں محدود اور دنیا میں مٹنے والی اور عرفان میں کمی کرنے والی نہ ہو، تیری ایسی حمد جس کا شمار نہیں کیا جا سکتا، رخصت ہونے والی راتوں، اور چمکنے والی صبحوں میں خشکی و تری میں صبح، دوپہر، شام، روز و شب ہوتی رہے۔

O Allah! By Your grace You brought me to safety and took me in your protection and did not force me more than my strength because you are pleased by my obedience. If I give you thanks orally or by making an attempt, but I can’t accomplish your magnificent rights with thanks nor can it repay Your bounty because there is no other god except You. No absent thing is hidden from You, no secret is concealed from You, and nothing lost goes astray from You in the darkness of hidden things. Indeed Your command when You intend a thing is only to say to it, "Be," and it is.

خدا وندا! تونے اپنی توفیق سے مجھے نجات بخشی اور اپنے احسان سے اپنی نگہبانی حمایت میں لیا، مجھے میری طاقت سے زیادہ کا حکم نہیں دیا، کیونکہ تو فقط میری فرمانبرداری ہی سے خوش ہوتا ہے، اب اگر میں زبانی شکر ادا کروں یا عملی طور پر کوشش کروں، تو وہ شکر تیرے عظیم ترین حق کو ادا نہیں کر سکتا، نہ تیرے فضل کا بدلہ ہو سکتا ہے، کیونکہ تو اللہ، تیرے سوا کوئی اللہ نہیں، کوئی غائب از نظر تیرے لئے پوشیدہ نہیں۔ تیرے لئے کوئی مخفی چیز مخفی نہیں، پوشیدگیوں کی تاریکیوں میں کوئی کھوجانے والی چیز تیرے لئے کھو نہیں سکتی، بلاشبہ تو جب کسی چیز کو چاہتا ہے تو اس سے کن کہتا ہے تو وہ ہو جاتی ہے۔

O Allah, to You belongs praise like that with which You have praised Yourself, and with which the praisers have praised You, the glorifiers have glorified You, the magnifiers have magnified You and the extollers have extolled You, so that there is for You from me alone, in every twinkling of an eye and less than that, (praise) like the praise of all the praisers, the affirmation of oneness of all kinds of the sincere, the sanctification of Your knowing lovers and the laudation of all who proclaim there is no god but You, and like that which You know and for which You are praised by all Your creation, animals and inanimate things; and I turn to Him in longing

خدا وندا! تیری حمد اور اس طرح جیسے خود تونے اپنی حمد کی ہے اور حمد کرنے والوں نے حمد کی ہے، اور بزرگی بیان کرنے والوں نے وہ بزرگی بیان کی ہے، اور تکبیر کہنے والوں نے تیری کبریائی بیان کی ہو، تعظیم کرنے والوں نے عظمت کا ذکر کیا ہو، یہاں تک کہ مجھ تن تنہا سے پلک جھپکتے یا اس سے بھی کم وقفہ میں تمام حمد کرنے والوں کی حمد کے برابر حمد ادا ہو، اور تمام خلوصِ نیّت رکھنے والوں کی سی توحید، اور تیرے صاحبانِ عرفان محبت کرنے والوں کی طرح تقدیس، اور تمام تہلیل کہنے والوں کی سی ثناء، اور تیری تمام مخلوقات میں حیوانات و جمادات کی جیسی تعریف کروں،

O Allah! You have given strength in my tongue to praise for you, I thank for it. Because whatever you have given me trouble for this matter is very less and after expressing this, what you have promised me, is very great. You granted me your favour from the very beginning was your graciousness. Then you command to thank for your graciousness was your justification and promised to give great rewards. You gave me of Your provision as a lesson and a test, asked of me from it a small, easy loan, and gave me for it abundant gifts; You kept me safe from the strain of trial and did not hand me over to the evil of Your trials. You bestowed me good livelihood and health and granted me more grace and promised to grant high stage along with convey good news of great grade of safety & chosen me for intercession of our great and best of all Prophets Hazrat Mohammad Mustafa (s.a.w.a) our Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a) as the friend of God, intercessor in hereafter, companion of sinners and the venerable person.

خدا وندا! تونے اپنی حمد سرائی کے لئے جو لب کشائی کی قوت دی ہے اس کے شکر کے لئے میں اظہار شوق کرتا ہوں، کیونکہ اس سلسلے میں جو تکلیف مجھے دی ہے وہ بہت کم ہے، اور شکر ادا کرنے پر جو وعدہ فرمایا وہ بہت بڑا ہے۔ تونے نعمت عطا فرمانے میں پہل کی جو تیرا فضل و کرم تھا، پھر شکر کا حکم دیا جو حق و انصاف تھا اور اس پر کئی گنے انعام اور زیادتی کا وعدہ فرمایا، مجھے روزی مرحمت فرمائی کہ آزمائش و امتحان لے، معمولی اور کم سے کم قرضے کا سوال کر کے زیادہ سے زیادہ عطا فرمایا، بلاؤں کی زحمت سے محفوظ رکھا، اور اپنی آزمائش کی سختیوں کے سپرد نہ فرمایا، عافیت عطا فرمائی، وسعت رزق و کشادگی عنایت کی، فضل کو کئی گنا زیادہ فرمایا، اور اس کے ساتھ ساتھ منزل بلند کا وعدہ فرمایا، اور اسی کے ساتھ بلند و محفوظ درجے کی بشارت دی، مجھے دعوت کے لحاظ سے سب سے بڑے نبی کی دعوت اور سب سے بہتر شفیع حضرت محمد مصطفٰیؐ (حبیب کبریا، رحمۃ العٰلمین، شفیع المذنبین، انیس الغریبین، امام القبلتین، نبی الحرمین) کی شفاعت کے لئے منتخب فرمایا۔

O My Lord! Forgive my sins. There is no other place for forgiveness. No one can obliterate without your forgiveness. Give me in this day and this hour a certainty that makes worldly troubles and sorrows easy for me. and makes me long for You and desire what is with You. Write forgiveness for me, bring me to honour, and grant me thanks for what You have bestowed upon me. As you are my Lord, the High and Unique and the knower. No one can disobey your command, and no one can prevent you from your judgement. I have faith, you are my Lord and the provider. You are the Master of the earth and the Heaven, Knower of the unseen and the seen and the great.

اے میرے پروردگار! میرے وہ گناہ معاف فرما دے جن کے لئے تیری بخشش کے سوا کہیں جگہ نہیں، جنہیں تیری معافی کے سوا کوئی مٹا نہیں سکتا، اور مجھے آج ہی اسی گھڑی وہ یقین عطا فرما جس کے بعد دنیا کی مصیبتیں اور دکھ آسان ہو جائیں تجھ سے عشق اور تیری طرف رغبت پیدا ہو جائے میری قسمت میں مغفرت لکھ دے۔ مجھے کرامت عطا فرما، اور مجھ پر نعمتیں فرمائی ہیں ان کے شکر کی توفیق عنایت کر، کیونکہ تو وہ اللہ ہے جو یگانہ و بلند خالق و سمیع و علیم ہے، تیرے حکم کا ٹالنے والا، تیرے فیصلے کا روکنے والا کوئی نہیں۔ میں یقین رکھتا ہوں کہ توہی وہ اللہ ہے جو میرا پروردگار اور ہر شئی کا پالنے والا زمین و آسمان کا خالق بے مثال، غائب و حاضر کا عالم، بلند و صاحبِ بزرگی ہے۔

O Allah! I ask You for steadfastness in the affair, resolve in right guidance and the inspiration to give thanks for Your bounty. I seek refuge with You from the injustice of every oppressor, the aggression of every aggressor and the envy of every envier. O Allah! I attack on my enemy with your help and from You I hope for the friendship of those I love, besides the benefits of Your grace, the kinds of Your gifts and the varieties of Your provision that I cannot count,

خدا وندا! ہر بات میں ثابت قدمی اور راہ راست میں استقلال دے۔ تیری نعمتوں پر الہام شکر کی دعا کرتا ہوں اور ہر ظالم کے ظلم، ہر باغی کی بغاوت، ہر حاسد کے حسد سے پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔ خدایا! (اے باری تعالٰی) تیرے سہارے دشمنوں پر حملہ کرتا ہوں، اور فقط تجھی کے دوستوں کی دوستی طلب کرتا ہوں، اس کے ساتھ ہی تیرے احسان کے ناقابل شمار فائدوں اور تیری طرح طرح کی روزیوں اور نعمتوں کا بھی امید وار ہوں۔

because you are Allah and there is no other allah. Your praise is every where and your hands are open for generosity. There are no one to challenge your commands. There are no one to dispute in your world. No one can appeal to anyone against your commands. You can get hold anyone. No one can become on owner without your willing. You are the master of blessings and rewards, Unique and the able. You are hallowed in the light of holiness. You have robed Yourself in might and glory. You are the great due to your nature and grandeur. You have obtained mastery over the splendid light. You have covered splendor with majesty.

کیونکہ توہی اللہ ہے اور تیرے علاوہ کوئی اللہ نہیں، دنیا میں تیری حمد پھیلی ہوئی، تیرے ہاتھ سخاوت میں کھلے ہوئے، تیرے حکم کا کوئی مقابلہ کرنے والا نہیں۔ تیرے ملک میں کوئی نزاع کرنے والا نہیں، تیرے حکم میں کسی سے رجوع نہیں کیا جا سکتا، انسانوں میں جسے چاہے اپنے قبضۂ قدرت میں لے سکتا ہے، اور تیری مرضی بغیر کسی چیز کے مالک نہیں ہو سکتے، توہی صاحبِ انعام و احسان، قادر و توانا ہے، پاکیزگیوں کے نور میں تیری پاکیزگی بیان کی جاتی ہے، تونے عزّت و شرف کے خلعت پہن لیے ہیں، تو قدرت و کبریائی کی وجہ سے صاحبِ عظمت ہے، تونے رونق سے روشنی پر غلبہ پا لیا ہے، تونے رونق پر جلال کی آرائش بڑھائی ہے۔

O Allah! Your magnificent praise, former obligations, great kingship, generosity and possession of nature are all elegant for you and continuously praise that never come to end and from border to ever last never ended. Because you have created me from the progeny of Adam (a.s) and made me healthy and spotless that I can see and hear properly and protect me from physical deformity and mental weakness. There is no trouble on my assimilation and no defect in my intellect. Your obligations, and good favours and bounties never prevent to do favour.

خدا وندا! عظیم الشان حمد اور قدیم ترین احسان، بلند ترین سلطانی، اور وسیع سخاوت، اور با اختیار قدرت تیرے ہی لئے زیبا ہے، تیرے لئے ہے وہ مسلسل حمد جو کبھی ختم نہ ہو، جو شکر کے ساتھ سرمدی اور ابد تک ختم نہ ہو، کیونکہ تونے مجھے بنی آدم کے بہترین آدمیوں میں پیدا کیا، اور مجھے سننے، دیکھنے والا صحیح و تندرست و بے عیب بنایا، مجھے جسمانی نقص اور دماغی کمزوری سے بچایا، نہ میرے کسی جز و بدن پر کوئی آفت ہے نہ میرے دل و عقل میں کوئی عیب۔ تیرے احسان اور حسن احسانات، اور بہترین نعمتوں نے تجھے مزید احسان کرنے سے نہ روکا،

On the contrary, increased my livelihood and made me superior on the worldly people and gave me the sense of hearing so that I can hear what You have charged me with and gave me good sight that I can see your natural phenomena. You placed me in charge and entrusted me with a heart that can observe your greatness, you gave me your protection. The tongue confesses your oneness. Undoubtedly, I am very thankful for your graciousness. I am a confessor of your rights and I am a plaintiff in your court for my troubles and obstacles, because your eternal and everlasting. You inherit the earth and all who are on it and you and only one and the best of inheritors.

بلکہ میری دنیاوی روزی میں وسعت اور بہت سے اہل دنیا پر ممتاز کیا، مجھے وہ قوت سماعت بخشی جس سے تیرے احکام اچھی طرح سنتا ہوں، اور ایسا صاحبِ نظر بنایا کہ تیری قدرت کے مظاہرات دیکھتا ہوں، میری نگہبانی فرمائی اور وہ دل بخشا جو تیری عظمت کا مشاہدہ کرتا ہے، وہ زبان جو اقرار توحید کرتی ہے، بلاشبہ میں اپنے اوپر تیرے کرم کا حمد سرا ہوں اور اپنے لئے تیرے توفیقات پر بقدر طاقت شکر گذار ہوں، اور تیرے حق کا اقراری ہوں، اور اپنی مصیبتوں اور ہمّتوں میں تیرے حضور میں فریادی ہوں، کیونکہ ہر زندہ سے پہلے مالکِ حیات، اور فانی کے بعد صاحبِ زندگی ہے، ایسا حیّ جو زمین اور اہل زمین کا وارث ہے اور توہی وارثوں میں سب سے بہتر ہے۔

O Allah! Do not restrain your favours and do not send your wrath as a punishment. Do not make any changes whatever I have and do not deprive me of Your firm protection. If I were to mention nothing of Your beneficence to me and Your favours upon me but Your pardoning me and Your answering my prayer when I raised my head in praising and glorifying You, (that would be enough): not that, in apportioning me a large share when You gave it in plenty, Your kingdom was diminished, nor that, in dividing provisions when You gave me little, Your kingdom was increased.

خدا وندا! اپنی خیر مجھ سے کسی وقت نہ روک، اور غضب کی سزائیں نازل نہ فرما، اور جو نعمتیں میرے پاس ہیں ان میں تبدیلی نہ فرما، اور نہ اپنی مضبوط عصمتوں سے مجھے خالی فرما، اب اگر میں اپنے اوپر تیرے احسانات نہ یاد کروں، اور ان انعامات کا تذکرہ نہ کروں جب بھی تیری وہ معافی تو یاد رہے گی جو میرے لئے مخصوص ہے۔ میری دعا کو اس وقت قبول کر لیا جب بھی میں نے اپنا سر تیری حمد و ستائش کے لئے بلند کیا، (یہ منہ اٹھانا صرف تیری حمد کے لئے تھا) نہ اپنے بڑے سے بڑے حصّے کی مقدار بیان کرنے کے لئے جنہیں اگر تونے ان میں زیادتی عطا کی تو تیرا ملک کم نہ ہوا، اور نہ روزی کی تقسیم میں، اگر تونے میرے لئے کمی کی تو ملک میں توفیر نہ ہوئی۔

O Allah! Your expanse of knowledge is equal to your praise & according to quantity of your expanse blessings is more than current existing things. The continuous repetition of Your praise is of equal weight of Your beautiful names and bounties. O My Lord! Complete Your favours in my remaining life as You obliged in my present life because I want to be reach by means of Your unity and Your declaration of oneness, Your glorification, Your magnification and Your exaltation and I ask You by Your Name which You created from that, which goes forth from You only to You. O Allah! I ask You by Your Name, the Spirit, the Hidden, the Treasured, the Living, the Living, the Living, and by it, by it, by it, and by You, by You, by You, not to deprive me of Your gifts and the benefits of Your bounties,

خدا وندا! تیرے علم کی وسعتوں کے برابر تیری حمد، اور تیری رحمت کی وسعتوں کی تعداد کے مطابق تیری حمد بلکہ ان موجودات سے کہیں زیادہ، وہ حمد جو متواتر، مسلسل، اور تیری نعمتوں اور ناموں کے ہم وزن ہو۔ بار الہا! اپنے احسانات میرے باقی ایّام زندگی میں میرے اوپر تمام کر دے، جیسے میری گذشتہ زندگی پر احسان فرمایا تھا، کیونکہ میں تیری توحید و تہلیل و تکبیر و تعظیم کے ذریعے تیری بارگاہ تک رسائی چاہتا ہوں، اور تیرے اس نام کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں جس کو تونے اپنی عظمت و برتری سے پیدا کیا ہے۔ اب وہ (مخلوق) تجھ سے نکل کر تیرے سوا کہیں اور نہیں جا سکتا، میں تجھ سے تیرے مخفی و پوشیدہ نام روح، حیّ، حیّ، حیّ اور اسی کے ذریعہ، اسی کے واسطے، اس کے سہارے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ اپنی عطا بخشش اور کرامت کے فائدوں سے محروم نہ فرما۔

and do not entrust me to anyone except You. Do not entrust me in the hand of my enemy. Do not put me in the guardianship of my soul and do your favour from Your great favours. Make my good deeds beautiful in the world, fulfil my desires here and make my last return in hereafter beautiful because the abundance of what Your grace pours forth and the flow of gifts from Your favours do not make You poor, and my falling short in thanking You for Your blessing does not diminish Your generosity. Your great rewards do not decrease Your endowment and Your great favours do not affect Your current rewards. You have no fear of the shame of poverty, that You pull Your hand from giving, and You have no danger of poverty so that benefit of Your kingdom scarce.

اور اپنے سوا کسی اور کے سپرد نہ کر، مجھے میرے دشمن کے حوالے نہ فرما، مجھے میرے نفس کی سر پرستی میں نہ دے، اور دنیا و آخرت میں اپنے کامل ترین احسان سے مجھ پر احسان کر، دنیا میں میرے عمل حسین بنا دے، یہاں میری امیدوں کو پورا کر دے اور آخرت میں میری اچھی بازگشت کو خوشنما کر دے، کیونکہ تجھے تیرے فضل کی زیادتی عطا، اور احسانوں کے عطیوں کے تحفے محتاج نہیں بناتے، اور نہ تیری نعمتوں کے خزانے کو دست کشی بڑھاتی ہے، اور نہ تیری بڑی بڑی بخششیں تیرے عظیم عطیوں میں کمی پیدا کرتے ہیں، اور نہ تیرے عظیم کرم میں بڑھ چڑھ کر جاری ہونے والی بخششیں کوئی اثر کرتی ہیں۔ نہ تجھے مفلسی کی ذلّت کا خوف ہے کہ تو ہاتھ روک لے، اور نہ تجھے تنگدستی کا خطرہ لاحق ہوتا ہے کہ تیری سلطنت کا فیض کم ہو۔

O my Lord! Make my heart full of true faith on You and do not make me feel secure from Your devising and do not make me oblivious from Your remembrance and do not give up keeping a secret, do not make anyone superior on me except you, do not disappoint me from Your grace but cover me with Your bounties, and do not withhold from me Your beautiful favors. Be my helper in my confusion and be supporter in my embarrassment. Be my redress and release me from all difficulties and errors and save me from all troubles and settled Your bounties and guard me from Your threatened punishment and turn out all the difficulties, destructions and wrath from me, grant me honour to secure the Holy Quran and improve my condition and help me in the world and in hereafter, improve the condition of my children, increase my livelihood in plenty, pay attention on me and do not be inattentive.

خدا وندا! ہمیں پرخلوصِ دل اور سچّا یقین، وہ بھی حق کی سچّائی رکھنے والا عطا فرما، اور اپنے عذاب سے بے خوف نہ کر، اور اپنی یاد مجھے نہ بھولنے دے، اور میرے اوپر سے اپنی پردہ پوشی نہ اُٹھا، اور مجھ پر اپنے علاوہ کسی کو حاکم نہ بنا، نہ اپنی رحمت سے مجھے مایوس فرما، بلکہ اپنے فائدوں سے مجھے ڈھانپ لے، اور مجھے اپنے حسین انعامات سے محروم نہ کر۔ ہر الجھن میں میرا انیس اور ہر گھبراہٹ میں میرا قلعہ، اور ہر ہلاکت میں فریاد رس بن جا، ہر بلا اور خطا سے نجات دے اور ہر لغزش سے بچا، اپنی نعمتوں کو مکمل کر دے، اپنے عذاب سے بچا، اپنے تکلیف دہ عذاب اور رسوا کن تباہی کو مجھ سے موڑ دے، اپنے قرآنِ پاک کو محفوظ کرنے کا شرف دے، میرے حالات کی اصلاح کر، میرے دین و دنیا و آخرت کو بہتر بنا، میری آل اولاد کی اصلاح فرما، میری روزی میں وسعت اور اسے میرے لئے فراواں کر دے، میری طرف توجہ فرما، بے توجہی نہ کر۔

O Allah! Make me to achieve eminence, do not despise me. Have pity on me, do not punish me and help me, do not make me alone. Prefer me and do not prefer others over me. Remove my difficulties and give me spaciousness. Accept my prayer soon and remove my difficulties. You have power over all things. Everything is easy for You as You are the generous and the sovereign.

خدا وندا! مجھے سر بلند فرما، حقیر نہ کر اور مجھ پر رحم فرما عذاب نہ کر، میری مدد کر تنہا نہ چھوڑ، مجھے سرفرازی مرحمت فرما کسی اور کو مجھ پر سرفراز نہ کر، میرے معاملات میں آسانیاں اور کشادگیاں عطا کر، میری قبولیت دعا میں جلدی کر۔ جو مصیبتیں درپیش ہیں ان سے مجھے نجات دلا، بلا شبہ تو ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے، اور یہ بات تیرے لئے بہت آسان ہے اور توہی سخی اور مالک کرم ہے۔

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
