It is highly advisable to bathe (Ghusl) oneself at the 1st night of Rajab. The Holy Prophet (s) says, “Whoever receives the month of Rajab and bathes himself in the first, middle, and last of it, will be released from all of his sins to return as pure as the day of his birth.”
رجب کی پہلی رات میں غسل کرے۔ جیساکہ بعض علماء نے فرمایا ہے : رسول اﷲؐ کا فرمان ہے : جو شخص ماہِ رجب کو پائے اور اس کے اول، وسط اور آخر میں غسل کرے تو وہ گناہوں سے اس طرح پاک ہو جائے گا جیسے آج ہی شکم مادر سے نکلاہے۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
Whoever offers this namaz, will have all his sins forgiven and will return as sin-free as the day of his birth.
جو کوئی اس نماز کو انجام دےگا، تو وہ شخص گناہوں سے اس طرح پاک ہو جائے گا جیسے آج ہی شکمِ مادر سے پیدا ہوا ہے۔

ابو جعفر ثانی امام محمد تقی جوادؑ سے روایت کی گئی ہے : رجب کی پہلی رات میں نماز عشا کے بعد دعا اَللّٰهُمَّ۔۔۔ بِاَنَّكَ مَلِكٌ کا پڑھنا مستحب ہے۔
