آب نیساں

1. The benefits of the Rain Water in the Month of Neesa'n (Roman Calendar) which comes 23 days after Navroz.

2. Sayyid Jalil Ali ibn Tawus (r) narrates in Zad al-Ma’ad that a group of the Companions was sitting together when the Messenger of Allah (s) came to them. He (s) greeted them, and they replied to his greeting. Then the Prophet (s) said: "Do you wish that I tell you about a medicine which Jibreel (a) informed me of? A medicine after which you will not need physicians for treatment?" Imam Ali (a), Salman’e Farsi (r), and other companions asked: "O Messenger of Allah (s), what is that medicine?" The Prophet (s) addressed Imam Ali (a) and said: "Collect the rainwater that falls in the Roman month of Nisa’n, and recite over it: 70 times Surah Fateha, 70 times Aayatul Kursi, 70 times Surah Ikhlaas, 70 times Surah Falaq, 70 times Surah Naas, and 70 times Surah Kaafiroon." And in another narration, it is mentioned to also recite: 70 times Surah Qadr 70 times…

   سید جلیل علی ابن طاؤسؒ زادُالمعاد میں روایت کرتے ہیں: صحابۂ کرام کا ایک گروہ ایک جگہ بیٹھا ہوا تھا کہ رسولِ خداؐ وہاں تشریف لائے۔ آپؐ نے سلام کیا اور صحابہ نے سلام کا جواب دیا۔ پھر رسول اللہؐ نے فرمایا: "کیا تم چاہتے ہو کہ میں تمہیں وہ دوا بتاؤں جس کے بارے میں جبرائیلؑ نے مجھے خبر دی ہے؟ ایسی دوا کہ اسے استعمال کرنے کے بعد تمہیں علاج کے لیے طبیبوں کی حاجت نہ رہے۔" مولا امیرالمؤمنین علیؑ، سلمان فارسیؓ اور دیگر اصحاب نے عرض کیا: "یا رسول اللہؐ! وہ کون سی دوا ہے؟" رسولِ خداؐ نے مولا علیؑ کو مخاطب کرتے ہوئے فرمایا: "رومی مہینے ‘نیساں’ میں ہونے والی بارش کا پانی لو اور اس پر ۷۰ مرتبہ سورۂ فاتحہ ۷۰مرتبہ آیت الکرسی ۷۰ مرتبہ سورۂ اخلاص ۷۰ مرتبہ سورۂ فلق ۷۰ مرتبہ سورۂ ناس اور ۷۰ مرتبہ سورۂ کافرون پڑھیں ایک اور روایت کے مطابق ۷۰ مرتبہ سورۂ قدر ۷۰ مرتبہ اللہ اکبر ۷۰ مرتبہ۔۔۔

3. اَللهُ اَكْبَرُ۔

   ALLAAHU AKBAR.

   Allah is Greatest.

   اللہ بزرگ تر ہے۔

4. Then repeat 70 times…

   پھر ۷۰ مرتبہ کہے۔۔۔

5. لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللہُ۔

   LAA ILAAHA ILLAA ALLAAH.

   There is no god save Allah.

   اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔

6. Then repeat 70 times…

   پھر ۷۰ مرتبہ کہے۔۔۔

7. اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

   ALLAAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALI MUHAMMAD.

   O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

   اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔

8. Then the Prophet (s) said: "Drink this water for 7 days every morning and at the time of Asr." He swore an oath and said: "By the One Who sent me with the truth! Jibraeel (a) informed me that whoever drinks from this water: Allah will remove every pain from his body, grant him relief and well-being, extract pain from his flesh and bones, and even if pain was written for him in the tablet of destiny, Allah will erase it." Then the Prophet (s) continued: "By the One Who sent me! If someone has no children and desires offspring, and he drinks this water with that intention Allah will grant him a child." "If a woman has become barren and cannot conceive, let her drink this water with intention Allah will bless her with a child." "If a husband and wife desire a son or daughter, and both drink from this water their wish will be fulfilled." Then the Messenger of Allah (s) recited the following verses: Surah Shoora (42:49-50)…

   پھر فرمایا ۷ دن تک ہر روز صبح اور عصر کے وقت اس پانی میں سے پیتے رہیں ، قسم ہے مجھے اُس ذات کی جس نے مجھے برحق مبعوث کیا ہے! جبرائیلؑ نے مجھ سے کہا ہے کہ جو شخص اس پانی میں سے پئے گا، اللہ تعالیٰ اُس کے جسم کا ہر درد دور کر دے گا۔ خداوندِ عالم اسے آرام و عافیت عطا کرے گا، اس کے بدن اور اس کی ہڈیوں سے درد کو نکال دے گا، اور اگر لوحِ تقدیر میں اس کے لیے درد لکھا بھی ہوا ہو تو اللہ اسے محو کر دے گا۔ مجھے اُس خدا کی قسم جس نے مجھے بھیجا ہے! جس کے یہاں اولاد نہ ہوتی ہو اور وہ اولاد کی خواہش رکھتا ہو تو وہ اس پانی کو اسی نیت سے پئے، اللہ تعالیٰ اسے فرزند عطا کرے گا۔ اور اگر کوئی عورت بانجھ ہو گئی ہو کہ اس کے ہاں بچہ نہ ہوتا ہو، تو وہ اس پانی کو اسی نیت سے پئے، اللہ اسے اولاد عطا کرے گا۔ اگر میاں اور بیوی بیٹا یا بیٹی چاہتے ہوں تو وہ بھی اس پانی میں سے پئیں، ان کی یہ مراد پوری ہو جائے گی۔ اللہ سورۂ شوریٰ کی آیت(۴۲: ۴۹۔۵۰) میں فرماتا ہے ۔۔۔

9. لِلهِ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ يَهَبُ لِمَنْ يَّشَآءُ اِنَاثًا وَّيَهَبُ لِمَنْ يَّشَآءُ الذُّكُوْرَ

   LILLAAHI MULKU AS-SAMAAWAATI WAL-ARDI YAKHLUQU MAA YASHAA'U YAHABU LIMAN YASHAA'U INAATHAN WAYAHABU LIMAN YASHAA'U AZ-ZUKOOR

   Allah’s is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; He creates what He pleases; He grants to whom He pleases daughters and grants to whom He pleases sons.

   بےشک آسمان و زمین کا اختیار صرف اللہ کے ہاتھوں میں ہے وہ جو کچھ چاہتا ہے پیدا کرتا ہے جس کو چاہتا ہے بیٹیاں عطا کرتا ہے اور جس کوچاہتا ہے بیٹے عطا کرتا ہے۔

10. اَوْ يُزَوِّجُهُمْ ذُكْرَانًا وَّاِنَاثًا وَّيَجْعَلُ مَنْ يَّشَآءُ عَقِيْمًا اِنَّهٗ عَلِيْمٌ قَدِيْرٌ

    AW YUZAWWIJUHUM ZUKRAANAN WA-INAATHAN WAYAJ'ALU MAN YASHAA'U 'AQEEMAN INNAHOO 'ALEEMUN QADEER

    Or He makes them of both sorts, male and female; and He makes whom He pleases barren; surely He is the Knowing, the Powerful.

    یا پھر بیٹے اور بیٹیاں دونوں کو جمع کر دیتا ہے اور جس کو چاہتا ہے بانجھ ہی بنا دیتا ہے یقینًا وہ صاحبِ علم بھی ہے اور صاحبِ قدرت و اختیار بھی ہے۔

11. After this, the Messenger of Allah (s) said: "Whoever has a headache, let him drink from this water by the power of Allah, his pain will disappear." "And if someone has pain in his eyes, let him place one drop of this water in the eye, drink a little of it, and wash his eyes with this same water and by Allah’s command, he will be cured." "Drinking this water strengthens the roots of the teeth, brings fragrance to the mouth, reduces excess saliva, and decreases phlegm." "By using this water, the stomach does not feel the heaviness of food and drink; colic pain does not occur; back and stomach pain disappear; one does not suffer from cold; toothache is relieved; and pains of the stomach as well as intestinal worms are removed." "He will not require bloodletting (fasd). Hemorrhoids, itching, madness, vitiligo, leprosy, nosebleeds, and vomiting will be cured. Such a person will not become blind, mute, lame, or deaf." "Black water (glaucoma / cataract) will not develop in his eyes. He will not suffer from any pain that causes one to break the fast or leave prayer incomplete. And he will remain protected from the whisperings of devils and jinn."

    اس کے بعد رسولِ خداؐ نے فرمایا: جس کے سر میں درد ہو، وہ اس پانی میں سے پیئے اللہ کی قدرت سے اس کا درد ختم ہو جائے گا۔ اگر کسی کی آنکھ میں درد ہو تو اس پانی کا ایک قطرہ آنکھ میں ڈالے، کچھ پانی پی بھی لے، اور اپنی آنکھوں کو اسی پانی سے دھوئے تو اللہ کے حکم سے اسے شفا مل جائے گی۔اس پانی کے پینے سے دانتوں کی جڑیں مضبوط ہوتی ہیں، یہ دانتوں میں خوشبو پیدا کرتا ہے، لعابِ دہن کم ہو جاتا ہے اور بلغم گھٹ جاتا ہے۔ اس پانی کے استعمال سے پیٹ پر کھانے پینے کا بوجھ نہیں رہتا، قولنج کا درد نہیں ہوتا، کمر اور پیٹ کا درد نہیں ہوتا، زکام کی تکلیف نہیں ہوتی، دانتوں میں درد نہیں ہوتا، معدے کا درد اور معدے کے کیڑے ختم ہو جاتے ہیں۔اسے خون نکالنے (فصد) کی ضرورت نہیں پڑتی۔ بواسیر، خارش، دیوانگی، برص، جذام، نکسیر اور قے سے نجات ملتی ہے۔ اور وہ شخص اندھا، گونگا، لنگڑا یا بہرا نہیں ہوگا۔ اس کی آنکھ میں کالا پانی (گلوکوما / موتیا) نہیں اترے گا۔ وہ درد لاحق نہیں ہوگا جو روزہ توڑ دینے یا نماز ناتمام رہ جانے کا سبب بنتا ہے۔ اور وہ شیطان اور جنّ کے وسوسوں سے بھی محفوظ رہے گا۔"

12. Then the Messenger of Allah (s) said: "Whoever drinks from this water even if his body contains all the pains found in the bodies of all people he will still be cured." Jibraeel (a) said: "By the One Who sent you (s) with the truth! Whoever recites over this water the verses mentioned earlier, Allah will fill his heart with light, make his tongue a fountain of wisdom, fill his heart with intellect, understanding, and gnosis, and will bestow upon him such favors as He has not granted to anyone else in this world." "Allah will grant him a 1000 mercies and a 1000 pardons. He will remove from his heart deceit, dishonesty, backbiting, envy, oppression, arrogance, miserliness, greed, and all evil traits." "He will be protected from the enmity of people, their slander, and their harm. And this water will become a source of cure for him from every kind of illness."

    اس کے بعد رسولِ خداؐ نے فرمایا: جو شخص اس پانی میں سے پئے گا، اگر اس کے جسم میں اتنے درد بھی ہوں جتنے لوگوں کے جسموں میں ہوتے ہیں، تب بھی وہ شفا پا جائے گا۔جبرائیلؑ نے کہا: اُس ذات کی قسم جس نے آپؐ کو برحق بھیجا ہے! جو شخص اس پانی پر وہ آیات پڑھے گا جو پہلے بیان کی گئیں، اللہ تعالیٰ اس کے دل کو نور سے بھر دے گا، اس کی زبان کو حکمت کے جاری ہونے کا سرچشمہ بنا دے گا، اس کے قلب کو عقل، فہم اور معرفت سے بھر دے گا، اور اس پر ایسی مہربانیاں کرے گا جو دنیا میں کسی اور پر نہ کی ہوں گی۔اللہ تعالیٰ اسے ہزار رحمتیں اور ہزار مغفرتیں عطا فرمائے گا۔ وہ اس کے دل سے فریب کاری، بددیانتی، غیبت، حسد، ظلم، تکبر، بخل، حرص اور تمام برے اخلاق کو دور کر دے گا۔اور وہ شخص لوگوں کی دشمنی، ان کی بدگوئی اور شر سے محفوظ رہے گا۔اور یہ پانی اس کے لئے ہر طرح کی بیماریوں سے شفا کا سبب بن جائے گا۔

13. "The chain of transmission (isnaad) for this narration ends with Abdullah ibn Umar, and therefore, in terms of its chain, this narration is considered weak. However, I have seen it written in the hand of the Martyr (Shaheed) that he has narrated it from Imam Ja‘far as-Sadiq (a), and within it he has described these same properties and details." However, he mentions the recitation of the verses and invocations in the following manner: "Over this Nisa’n rainwater, recite: Surah Fateha 70 times, Aayatul Kursi 70 times, Surah Kaafiroon 70 times, Surah Aala 70 times, Surah Falaq 70 times, Surah Naas 70 times, Surah Ikhlaas 70 times", Then say 70 times…

    مؤلف کہتے ہیں: اس روایت کا سلسلۂ سند عبداللہ ابنِ عمر پر ختم ہوتا ہے، اس لیے سند کے اعتبار سے یہ روایت ضعیف ہے۔ لیکن میں نے اسے بقلمِ شہید دیکھا ہے کہ انہوں نے اسے امام جعفر صادقؑ سے نقل کیا ہے، اور اس میں یہی خواص اور صورتیں بیان کی ہیں۔البتہ آیات اور اذکار کی روایت اس طرح ذکر کی ہے کہ: اس آبِ نیساں پرسورۂ فاتحہ ۷۰ مرتبہآیت الکرسی ۷۰مرتبہسورۂ کافرون ۷۰مرتبہسورۂ اعلیٰ ۷۰مرتبہسورۂ فلق ۷۰مرتبہسورۂ ناس ۷۰مرتبہسورۂ اخلاص ۷۰ مرتبہ پڑھے۔پھر ۷۰ مرتبہ کہے۔۔۔

14. لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللہُ۔

    LAA ILAAHA ILLAA ALLAAH.

    There is no god save Allah.

    اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔

15. Then repeat 70 times…

    پھر ۷۰ مرتبہ کہے۔۔۔

16. اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

    ALLAAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALI MUHAMMAD.

    O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

    اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔

17. Then repeat 70 times…

    پھر ۷۰ مرتبہ کہے۔۔۔

18. سُبْحَانَ اللہِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلہِ وَلَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ وَاللہُ اَكْبَرُ۔

    SUBHAANA ALLAAHI WAL-HAMDU LILLAAHI WALAA ILAAHA ILLAA ALLAAHU WALLAAHU AKBAR.

    All glory be to Allah; all praise be to Allah; there is no god save Allah; Allah is the Greatest.

    پاک ہے اﷲاور حمد اﷲہی کے لئے ہے اور اﷲکے سوا کوئی معبودنہیں اور اﷲبزرگ تر ہے۔

19. In addition, it has also been mentioned among the properties of this water that if a person is imprisoned, and he drinks from this water, he will be granted freedom from captivity. Cold weather will not overpower him, and all the other qualities of this water are the same as those described in the earlier narration. Furthermore, it has been clarified that rainwater, in general, is blessed and beneficial whether it is from the month of Nisa’n or any other month. As a reliable narration from Ameerul Momeneen (a) states, he (a) said: "Drink water from the sky (rainwater), for it purifies the body and removes pains." And Allah the Exalted says in a verse of Surah Anfaal (8:11)…

    اس کے علاوہ اس پانی کے خواص میں یہ بھی ذکر ہوا ہے کہ اگر کوئی شخص قید خانے میں بند ہو اور وہ اس پانی میں سے پیئے تو قید سے رہائی پائے گا۔ سردی اس پر غالب نہیں آئے گی، اور باقی تمام خواص وہی ہیں جو پہلی روایت میں بیان کیے گئے ہیں۔مزید یہ کہ بارش کا پانی مطلق طور پر بابرکت اور نفع بخش ہوتا ہے چاہے وہ نیساں کے مہینے کا ہو یا کسی اور مہینے کا جیسا کہ ایک معتبر روایت میں امیرالمؤمنینؑ سے نقل ہوا ہے کہ آپؑ نے فرمایا: ‘آسمان کے پانی کو پیا کرو، کیونکہ وہ جسم کو پاک کرنے والا ہے اور دردوں کو دور کرنے والا ہے۔اور اللہ تعالیٰ سورۂ انفال کی آیت (۸: ۱۱) میں فرماتا ہے۔۔۔

20. …وَيُنَزِّلُ عَلَيْكُم مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً لِّيُطَهِّرَكُمْ بِهٖ وَيُذْهِبَ عَنْكُمْ رِجْزَ الشَّيْطٰنِ وَلِيَرْبِطَ عَلٰى قُلُوْبِكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتَ بِهِ الْاَقْدَامَ.

    …WAYUNAZZILU 'ALAYKUM MINA AS-SAMAA'I MAA'AN LIYUTAHHIRAKUM BIHEE WAYUZHIBA 'ANKUM RIJZA ASH-SHAYTAANI WALIYARBITA 'ALAA QULOOBIKUM WAYUTHABBITA BIHI AL-AQDAAM.

    ...and sent down upon you water from the cloud that He might thereby purify you, and take away from you the uncleanness of the Shaitan, and that He might fortify your hearts and steady (your) footsteps thereby.

    ۔۔۔اور آسمان سے پانی نازل کررہا تھا تاکہ تمہیں پاکیزہ بنادے اور تم سے شیطان کی کثافت کو دور کردے اور تمہارے دلوں کو مطمئن بنادے اور تمہارے قدموں کو ثبات عطا کردے۔

21. In the present era, the Roman month of Nisa’n begins 23 days after Nowruz, and this month consists of 30 days. It is narrated from Imam Ja‘far as-Sadiq (a): “Get cupping (hijama) done on the 7th of the month of Haziran, and if it is not possible on that day, then do it on the 14th.” The first day of the month of Haziran falls approximately 84 days after Nowruz, and this month also consists of 30 days. Haziran is considered a month of adversity (inauspiciousness). According to a reliable narration, when the month of Haziran was mentioned before Imam Ja‘far as-Sadiq (a), he said: “This is the same month in which Prophet Moosa (a) rebuked and chastised the Children of Israel, and on that very day, three hundred thousand (3,00,000) of them died.” Another authentic narration states: “Allah brings death and fate closer during this month; therefore, many deaths occur in this month.” It should be noted that the Roman months are based on the movement of the sun. They are twelve in number, arranged as follows: Tishreen al-Awwal, Tishreen al-Akhir, Kanun al-Awwal, Kanun al-Akhir, Shabat, Adhar, Nisa’n, Ayyar, Haziran, Tammuz, Ab, and Aylul. Among these, four months contain 30 days: Tishreen al-Akhir, Nisan, Haziran, and Aylul. The remaining seven months (except Shabat) have 31 days. Shabat has 28 days for three years, and in the leap year (the fourth year), it has 29 days. The Roman year is approximately 365¼ days long, and it begins with the month of Tishreen al-Awwal. On this day, the sun is positioned at the 29th degree of the Libra constellation. These details are mentioned in Bihar al-Anwar. Even today, the governmental offices of Iraq operate according to these Roman months, which is why they are frequently referenced in hadith literature.

    آج کے دور میں نوروز (۲۱ مارچ کے آس پاس) کے ۲۳دن بعد رومی مہینہ نیساں شروع ہوتا ہے۔ نیساں ۳۰ دن کا مہینہ ہے۔ احادیث میں بارشِ نیساں (نیسانی بارش) کے پانی کو خاص برکت و شفا والا بتایا گیا ہے۔ ماہِ حزیران کے متعلق امام جعفر صادقؑ کی ہدایات امامؑ سے معتبر روایات میں آیا ہے کہ: حجامت (پچھنے) کے دن حزیران کی ۷ تاریخ کو حجامت کروانا مفید ہے۔ اگر ممکن نہ ہو تو ۱۴ تاریخ کو کرواؤ۔ حزیران کب آتا ہے؟ حزیران کی پہلی تاریخ نوروز کے تقریباً ۸۴ دن بعد ہوتی ہے۔ یہ مہینہ بھی ۳۰ دن کا ہوتا ہے۔ حزیران کو نحوست والا مہینہ کیوں کہا گیا؟ روایات میں اس کی وجہ بیان ہوئی ہے: سببِ نحوست امام جعفر صادقؑ نے فرمایا: یہ وہ مہینہ ہے جس میں حضرت موسیٰؑ نے بنی اسرائیل پر عتاب/ملامت کی۔ اسی دن بنی اسرائیل کے تین لاکھ (۳،۰۰،۰۰۰) افراد ہلاک ہو گئے تھے۔ زیادہ اموات ایک دوسری معتبر روایت میں ہے: اللہ تعالیٰ اس مہینے میں قضا و اجل کو قریب کر دیتا ہے۔ اسی لیے اس مہینے میں اموات زیادہ ہوتی ہیں۔ رومی (شمسی) مہینوں کی ترتیب رومی تقویم شمسی ہے، یعنی سورج کی حرکت پر مبنی ہے۔ اس کے مہینے یہ ہیں: تشرین اول، تشرین الآخر، کانون اول، کانون الآخر، شباط، آذر، نیساں، ایار، حزیران، تموز، آب، ایلول، کن مہینوں کے کتنے دن ہوتے ہیں؟ ۳۰دن والے مہینے تشرین الآخر، نیساں، حزیران، ایلول، ۳۱ دن والے مہینے ان چار کے علاوہ باقی تمام (کل ۷ مہینے)، صرف شباط مختلف ہے: تین سال تک ۲۸ دن چوتھے سال (Leap Year) میں ۲۹ دن۔ رومی سال کی مدت پورا رومی سال 365¼ (365.25) دن کا ہوتا ہے۔ سال کی ابتدا تشرین اول سے ہوتی ہے۔ اسی دن سورج برج میزان کے ۲۹ویں درجے پر ہوتا ہے۔ یہ تقویم آج کہاں استعمال ہوتی ہے؟ آج بھی عراق کے سرکاری دفاتر انہی رومی مہینوں پر چلتے ہیں۔ بہت سی روایات میں انہی مہینوں کا حوالہ دیا گیا ہے، اسی لیے قدیم کتابوں جیسے بحار الانوار میں ان کی وضاحت موجود ہے۔
