Allahumma…husnal maeeshate
اَللّٰهُمَّ۔۔۔ حُسْنَ الْمَعِيْشَةِ
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ حُسْنَ الْمَعِيْشَةِ مَعِيْشَةً اَتَقَوّٰى بِهَا عَلٰى جَمِيْعِ حَوَاۗئِجِىْ وَاَتَوَصَّلُ بِهَا فِى الْحَيٰوةِ اِلٰى آخِرَتِىْ مِنْ غَيْرِ اَنْ تُتْرِفَنِىْ فِيْهَا فَاَطْغٰى اَوْ تُقَتِّرَ بِهَا عَلَىَّ فَاَشْقٰى اَوْسِعْ عَلَىَّ مِنْ حَلَالِ رِزْقِكَ۔
Allaahumma innee as-aloka husnal maee-shate maee-shatan ata-qawwaa behaa a’laa jamee-e’ hawaa-e-jee wa ata-was-salo behaa fil hayaate ilaa aakhe-ratee min ghaire an tut-re-fanee fee-haa fa-a’t-ghaa aw to-qatte-ra behaa a’laiyya fa-ashqaa awse’ a’laiyya min ha-laale rizqe-ka.
O Allah, I beseech You for excellent livelihood; such livelihood by which I can be competent enough to settle all of my needs and by which I can pave my way to my otherworldly life by means of this life, but do not make me so luxurious that I may be inordinate and do not straiten my means of life that I may be miserable.
اے معبود!میں تجھ سے مانگتا ہوں بہترین ذریعۂ معاش کہ جس سے میں اپنی تمام حاجات و ضروریات پوری کر سکوں اور اسی کے ذریعے زندگی میں آخرت کو پاؤں ایسی روزی نہ ہو کہ فروانی ہو تو سر کشی کرنے لگوں یا اتنی تنگی ہو کہ بد بخت ہو جاؤں۔
وَاَفْضِلْ عَلَىَّ مِنْ سَيْبِ فَضْلِكَ نِعْمَةً مِنْكَ سَابِغَةً وَعَطَاۗءً غَيْرَ مَمْنُوْنٍ ثُمَّ لَا تَشْغَلْنٰى عَنْ شُكْرِ نِعْمَتِكَ بِاِكْثَارٍ مِّنْهَا تُلْهَيْنٰى بَهْجَتُهٗ وَتَفْتِنُنٰى زَهَرَاتُ زَهْوَتِهٖ وَلَا بِاِقْلَالٍ عَلَىَّ مِنْهَا يَقْصُرُ بِعَمَلِىْ كَدُّهٗ وَيَمْلَاُ صَدْرِىْ هَمُّهٗ اَعْطِنِىْ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ۔
Wa afzil a’laiyya min saiybe fazle-ka ne’matan minka saabe-ghatan wa a’taaa-an ghaira mamnoo-nin summa laa tash-ghal-naa a’n shukre ne’mateka be-iksaa-rim minhaa tul-haiy-naa bah-jato-hu wa tafte-no-naa zahraa-to zah-wate-hi walaa be-iqlaa-lin minhaa yaq-soro be-a’ma-lee kaddo-hu wa yam-lao sadree hammo-hu a’te-nee min zaale-ka.
Rather, You may grant me expansive and legally gotten sustenance and endue me kindly with the torrential favors of You, such pleasant graces, and enduring gifts. Then, (please) do not cause me to be distracted from thanking Your graces through granting me excessive sustenance whose joy may divert me and whose vainglory may lead me astray or through giving me very little amount of sustenance due to which my painstaking efforts fail to meet my needs and due to which my heart is filled with grief.
وسعت عطا کر مجھے اپنی طرف سے رزق ِحلال میں اور مجھ پر اپنے فضل سے مہربانی کی بارش برسااپنی بہترین نعمتیں دے اور وہ عطا کر کہ جو کبھی ختم نہ ہو اور اس کے بعد مجھے دی ہوئی نعمتوں پر ادائے شکر سے غافل نہ ہونے دے کہ کہیں کثرتِ نعمت مجھے خوشی میں مست نہ کر دے اور اس کی تازگی مجھے فتنے میں نہ ڈالے اور نہ اسے اتنا کم کردے کہ اس کا حصول میرے عمل کو گھٹا دے اور دل اس کی پریشانی میں مبتلا رہے۔
يَا اِلٰهِىْ غِنًی عَنْ شِرَارِ خَلْقِكَ وَبَلَاغًا اَنَالُ بِهٖ رِضْوَانَكَ وَاَعُوْذُ بِكَ يَا اِلٰهِىْ مِنْ شَرِّ الدُّنْيَا وَشَرِّ مَا فِيْهَا وَلَاتَجْعَلْ عَلَىَّ الدُّنْيَا سِجْنًا وَلَافِرَاقَهَا عَلَىَّ حُزْنًا اَخْرِجْنِىْ مِنْ فِتْنَتِهَا مَرْضِيًّا عَنِّى مَقْبُوْلًا فِيْهَا عَمَلِىْ اِلٰى دَارِ الْحَيَوَانِ وَمَسَاكِنِ الْاَخْيَارِ، وَاَبْدِلْنِىْ بِالدُّنْيَا الْفَانِيَةِ نَعِيْمَ الدَّارِ الْبَاقِيَةِ۔
Yaa ilaa-hee ghe-nan a’n sheraa-re khalqe-ka wa balaa-ghan anaa-lo behi rizwaa-naka wa aoo’zo beka yaa ilaa-hee sharrid dunyaa wa sharre-maa feehaa wa laa taj-a’l a’laiy-yad dunyaa sij-nan wa laa feraa-qahaa a’laiyya huz-nan akh-rij-nee min fit-nate-haa mar-ziyyan a’nnee maqboo-lan feehaa a’ma-lee ilaa daaril haiy-waane wa masaa-kenil akh-yaare, wa abdil-nee bid dunyal faane-yate na-ee’mad daaril baaqe-yate.
(Please) give me, O my God, an amount that makes me dispense with Your evil creatures and makes me attain Your pleasure. I pray Your protection, O my God, against the evil of this world and the evil therein. Do not cause this world to be like prison for me and do not cause my departure from it to be grief for me. (Please) take me out of it while You are pleased with me and my deeds are accepted by You to the habitat of true life and the abode of the virtuous ones. Give me in exchange for this terminating life the bliss of the everlasting abode.
اے میرے اللہ! اس بارے میں مجھے اپنی مخلوق کے شر سے بے خوف کردے اور میں اس رزق سے تیری رضاحاصل کروں الہٰی میں تیری پناہ لیتا ہوں دنیا اور اس کی چیزوں کے شر سے اس دنیا کو میرے لئے قید خانہ قرار نہ دے مجھے اس کے چھوڑکے جانے پر غم زدہ نہ ہونے دے مجھے اس کے فتنوں سے نکال جب کہ تو مجھ سے راضی ہو میرا یہاں کیا ہوا عمل مقبول ہو کہ زندگی کے گھر اور نیکوں کے ٹھکانے پرپہنچوں اس دنیا ئےفانی کے بدلے میں مجھے ہمیشہ کی نعمتوں والا گھر عطا فرما۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ اَزْلِهَا وَزِلْزَالِهَا وَمِنْ سَطَوَاتِ شَيَاطِيْنِهَا وَسَلَاطِيْنِهَا وَنَكَالِهَا وَمِنْ بَغْىِ مَنْ بَغِىْ عَلَىَّ فِيْهَا۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ مَنْ كَادَنِىْ فَكِدْهُ وَمَنْ اَرَادَنِىْ فَاَرِدْهُ وَفُلَّ عَنِّىْ حَدَّ مَنْ نَصَبَ لِىْ حَدَّهٗ وَاَطْفِءْ عَنِّىْ نَارَ مَنْ شَبَّ لِىْ۔
Allaahumma innee aoo’zo beka min azle-haa wa zil-zalaale-haa wa min sata-waate shayaa-teene-haa wa salaa-teene-haa wa nakaa-lehaa wa min bagh-ye man baghee a’laiyya feehaa.
Allaahumma man kaade-nee fa-kid-ho wa man araada-nee fa-arid-ho wa fulla a’nnee hadda man nasaba lee hadda-hu wa at-fe-e a’nnee naara man shabba-lee.
O Allah, I pray for Your protection against this world’s hardships and tribulations and against the sways of its devils, rulers, and chastisement as well as against the oppression of whoever has oppressed me in this world. O Allah, (please) frustrate whoever intends to deceive me, thwart whoever intends evil to me, break off the sharp edge of whoever has targeted at me, extinguish the fire of whoever has collected its wood against me.
اےمعبود! میں تیری پناہ لیتا ہوں اس دنیا کی سختی اور زلزلوں سے یہاں کے شیطانوں اور حکمرانوں کے حملوں سے دنیا کی تنگی سے زیادتی اور یہاں کے زیادتی کرنے والوں سے اے معبود! جو مجھے دھوکادے اسے دھوکے میں ڈال جو مجھ سے میرے لئے برا ارادہ کرے تو اس سے ایسا ہی کر جو میرے لئے تلوار تیز کرے تو اسے کند کر دے جو میرے لئے آگ بھڑکائے اسے بجھا دے۔
وَقُوْدَهُ وَاكْفِنِىْ مَكْرَ الْمَكَرَةِ وَافْقَاْعَنِّىْ عُيُوْنَ الْكَفَرَةِ وَاكْفِنِىْ هَمَّ مَنْ اَدْخَلَ عَلَىَّ هَمَّهُ وَادْفَعْ عَنِّىْ شَرَّ الْحَسَدَةِ وَاعْصِمْنِىْ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ بِالسَّكِيْنَةِ وَاَلْبِسْنِىْ دِرْعَكَ الْحَصِيْنَةَ وَاَحْيِنِىْ فِىْ سِتْرِكَ الْوَاقِىْ وَاَصْلِحْ لِىْ حَالِىْ وَصَدِّقْ قَوْلِىْ بِفِعَالِىْ وَبَارِكْ لِىْ فِىْ اَهْلِىْ وَمَالِىْ۔
Wa qooda-ho wakfe-nee makral makara-te waf-qaa a’nnee o’yoo-nal kafara-te waqfe-nee hamma man ad-khala a’laiyya hamma-ho wad-fa’ a’nnee sharral hasada-te wa’sim-nee min zaale-ka bis-sakina-te wa al-bis-nee dir-a’kal hasee-nata wa ah-ye-nee fee sitre-kal waa-qee wa as-leh lee haa-lee wa saddiq qawlee be-fe-a’alee wa baarik lee fee ah-lee wa maa-lee.
And save me from the trickeries of the cunning ones, gouge out the eyes of the disbelievers, save me from the grief of whoever has grieved me, defend me against the evil of the envious ones, protect me against all that through tranquility, dress me Your invulnerable armor, cause me to live under the shade of Your protective covering, set aright all of my affairs, make congruous my words and my deeds, and bless my family members for me.
مکر کرنے والے کے مقابل میری مدد فرما مکار کی آنکھیں میری طرف سے بند کردے جو میرے دل میں غم ڈالے تو میری کفایت کر مجھ سے حاسدوں کے حسد کو دور کر میری حفاظت فرما مجھے مطمئن رکھ مجھے اپنی محکم زرہ میں محفوظ کر دے مجھے اپنے بچانے والے پردوں میں زندہ رکھ میرے حالات بہتر بنا دے میرے قول و فعل کو یکساں کر دے اور میرے خاندان اور مال میں برکت دے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
