Dua for 2nd Day

بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِیْ اَنْزَلَ عَلٰی عَبْدِهِ الْكِتَابِ وَلَمْ یَجْعَلْ لَهٗ عِوَجًا قَیِّمًا لِّیُنْذِرَ بَاسًا شَدِیْدًا مِن لَّدُنْهُ وَیُبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ الَّذِیْنَ یَعْمَلُوْنَ الصَّالِحَاتِ اَنَّ لَهُمْ اَجْرًا حَسَنًا مَا كِثِیْنَ فِیْهِ اَبَدًا وَیُنْذِرَ الَّذِیْنَ قَالُوا اتَّخَذَ اللهُ وَلَدًا مَا لَهُمْ بِهٖ مِنْ عِلْمٍ وَلَا لِآبَاۗئِهِمْ كَبُرَتْ كَلِمَۃً تَخْرُجُ مِنْ اَفْوَاهِهِمْ اِن یَّقُوْلُوْنَ اِلَّا كَذِبًا۔ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِیْ اَذْهَبَ عَنَّا الْحَزَنَ اِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُوْرٌ شَكُوْرٌ الَّذِیْ اَحَلَّنَا دَارَ الْمُقَامَۃِ مِنْ فَضْلِهٖ لَا یُمَسُّنَا فِیْهَا نَصَبٌ وَلَا یَمَسُّنَا فِیْهَا لَغُوْبٌ۔

“Praise be to Allah who has sent down upon His servant the book, and has not caused therein any crookedness; (He has made it) straight, in order that He may warn of a severe punishment from Him, and give glad tidings to the believers who do good, that theirs shall be a goodly recompense, wherein they will abide forever; and that He may warn those who say, ‘Allah has taken a son’; they have no knowledge of this, nor had their fathers… Grievous in the word that comes out of their mouths; they speak nothing but a lie” (18:1-5). “Praise be to Allah who has taken away grief from us. Verily our Lord is oft-forgiving, all-appreciating; Who has settled us by His grace in an abode of eternal rest where toil does not touch us nor weariness affect us.” (35:34-35).

تمام تعریفیں اسی خدا کے لئے زیب دیتی ہیں جس نے اپنے بندۂ خاص پر کتاب نازل فرمائی، اور اس کے لئے کوئی کجی نہیں رکھی وہ بالکل استوار ہے، تاکہ اس ذریئے سے لوگوں کو انتہائی غضب سے ڈرائے، اور ان مومنوں کو جو نیک عمل کرتے ہیں یہ بشارت دے کہ ان لوگوں کو اچھا صلہ ملے گا اور اسی میں انہیں ہمیشہ رکھا جائے گا، اور ان لوگوں کو ڈرائے جو کہتے ہیں کہ اللہ نے اپنا فرزند بنایا ہے، نہ ان کو کچھ علم ہے نہ ان کے آباؤ اجداد کو، ان لوگوں کے منہ سے بہت بڑی بات نکلی ہے، یہ سوائے جُھوٹ کے کچھ نہیں کہتے۔ اس اللہ کی تمام تعریفیں جس نے ہم سے رنج کو دور کر دیا، بلا شبہ ہمارا پروردگار ضرور ضرور بہت زیادہ بخشے گا، اور وہی وہ قدر دان ہے جس نے ہمیں اس قیامگا میں جگہ دی جس میں ہمیں نہ تو تھکن ہوگی نہ کوئی زحمت و امن گیر ہوگی۔

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ وَسَلَامٌ عَلٰی عِبَادِهِ الَّذِیْنَ اصْطَفٰی ءَاۗللهُ خَیْرٌ اَمَّا یُشْرِكُوْنَ۔ اَمَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ وَاَنْزَلَ لَكُمْ مِنَ السَّمَاۗئِ مَاۗئٍ فَاَنْۢبَتْنَا بِهٖ حَدَاۗئِقَ ذَاتَ بَهْجَۃٍ مَا كَانَ لَكُمْ اَنْ تُنْۢبِتُوْا شَجَرَهَا ءَاِلٰهٌ مَعَ اللهِ، بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ یَعْدِلُوْنَ۔ اَمَّنْ جَعَلَ الْاَرْضَ قَرَارًا وَّجَعَلَ خِلَالَهَا اَنْهَارًا وَّجَعَلَ لَهَا رَوَاسِیَ وَجَعَلَ بَیْنَ الْبَحْرَیْنِ حَاجِزًا ءَاِلٰهٌ مَعَ اللهِ بَلْ اَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا یَعْلَمُوْنَ۔ اَمَّن یُّجِیْبُ الْمُضْطَرَّ اِذَا دَعَاهُ وَیَكْشِفُ السُّوْۗئَ وَیَجْعَلُكُمْ خُلَفَاۗئَ الْاَرْضِ ءَاِلٰهٌ مَعَ اللهِ، قَلِیْلًا مَّا تَذَكَّرُوْنَ۔

“Praise be to Allah, and peace be on His servants whom He has chosen. What! Is Allah better, or what they associate (with Him)? Is not He (best) who created the heavens and the earth, and sends down for you water from the heaven with which We cause beautiful gardens? It was not in your power to make its trees grow. What! is there any other god along with Allah? Nay, but they are a people who go astray. Is not he (best) who made the earth a habitable place and made amidst it’s rivers and placed thereon firm mountains and set a barrier between two bodies of water? Is there any other god along with Allah? Nay, most of them do not know. Is not He (best) who answers the distressed when he calls unto Him, and removes the distress and makes you the successors in the earth. Is there any other god along with Allah? How little it is that you reflect. Is not He (best) who guides you in the darkness of the land and the sea and sends the winds, as the bearers of glad tidings before His mercy? Is there any other god along with Allah? High exalted be Allah, above what they associate (with Him). Is not He (best) who originates creation, then brings it back again, and gives you sustenance from the heavens and earth? Is there any other god along with Allah? Say: Bring your proof, if you are truthful. Say: No one knows the unseen in the heavens and earth except Allah, nor do they know, when they shall be raised again” (27:59-65).

ہر طرح کی حمد اللہ کے لئے زیبا ہے اور اللہ کی سلامتی ہو اس کے ان بندوں پر جسے اس نے چُنا، بھلا اللہ بہتر ہے یا وہ جسے یہ لوگ اس کا شریک مانتے ہیں، وہ کون ہے جس نے آامان و زمین کو پیدا کیا، اور تمہارے لئے آسمان سے پانی برسایا پھر ہم نے اس کے ذریعے فرحت بخش باغ پیدا کئے، تمہارے لئے تو یہ بھی ممکن نہ تھا کہ زمین کے درخت اگا سکتے۔ کیا اللہ کے ساتھ اور بھی معبود ہیں؟ (نہیں) بلکہ یہ قوم حق سے برگشتہ ہے، کون ہے جس نے زمین کو قرار بخشا، اور اس کے اندر نہریں بہائیں، اس کے لئے میخیں (پہاڑیاں) لگائیں، سمندروں کے درمیان میں روکاوٹیں خلق کیں۔ کیا اللہ کے ساتھ اور بھی معبود ہیں؟ (نہیں) بلکہ ان میں اکثر نا واقف ہیں، وہ کون ہے جو بے چین کی پکار کے وقت لبیک کہتا ہے، اور پریشانیوں کو دور کرتا ہے، اور تمہیں زمین پر گذشتہ امتوں کا وارث بتاتا ہے۔ کیا اللہ کے ساتھ اور بھی معبود ہیں؟ (ہرگز نہیں مگر) اس حقیقت کو بہت کم لوگ جانتے ہیں۔

اَمَّن یَّهْدِیْكُمْ فِیْ ظُلُمَاتِ الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ وَمَن یُّرْسِلُ الرِّیَاحَ بُشْرًا بَیْنَ یَدَیْ رَحْمَتِهٖ ءَاِلٰهٌ مَعَ اللهِ تَعَالٰی اللهُ عَمَّا یُشْرِكُوْنَ۔ اَمَّنْ یَّبْدَؤُا الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ یُعِیْدُهٗ، وَمَنْ یَّرْزُقُكُمْ مِنَ السَّمَاۗئِ وَالْاَرْضِ، ءَاِلٰهٌ مَعَ اللهِ قُلْ هَاتُّوْا بُرْهَانَكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِیْنَ۔ قُلْ لَا یَعْلَمُ مَنْ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ الْغَیْبَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَمَا یَشْعُرُوْنَ اَیَّانَ یُبْعَثُوْنَ۔ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ فَاطِرِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ جَاعِلِ الْمَلَاۗئِكَۃِ رُسُلًا اُؤْلِیْ اَجْنِحَۃٍ مَثْنٰی وَثُلٰثَ وَرُبٰعَ یَزِیْدُ فِی الْخَلْقِ مَا یَشَاۗئُ اِنَّ اللهَ عَلٰی كُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیْرٌ۔

“Praise be to Allah to whom belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. His is the praise in the Hereafter; He is All-wise, All-knowing” (34:1). “Praise be to Allah, originator of the heavens and the earth, who made the angles messengers with wings two, three and four; He adds what He will to His creation. Surely Allah has power over all things” (35:1). Praise belongs to Allah, the all-forgiving, the oft-forgiving, the loving, the oft-turning (to forgive), the bestower, the noble, the tremendous, the great, the all-hearing, the all-seeing, the all-knowing, the eternal refuge, “...the ever-living, the self-subsisting” (2:255), “…the Ever-prevalent, the supreme, the great absolute” (59:23).

وہ کون ہے جس نے خشکی و تری کی تاریکیوں میں تمہاری راہنمائی کی اور کون ہے جس نے ہواؤں کو تمہارے لئے اس کی رحمتوں کی خوش خبری پہنچا نے والا بنایا۔ آیا اللہ کے ہوتے ہوئے بھی کچھ معبود ہیں؟ اللہ ان لوگوں کے خیالِ شرک سے پاک و بلند ہے، اچّھا وہ کون ہے کہ جس نے خلقت کی ابتدا کی، پھر اسے واپس بلالے گا، اور وہ کون ہے جس تمہیں آسمان و زمین سے روزی دیتا ہے۔ کیا اللہ کے ساتھ اور بھی معبود ہیں؟ (نہیں) ان سے کہو کہ اگر سچھے ہو تو کوئی دلیل لاؤ، ان سے کہو کیا آسمان و زمین میں غیب کا علم کسی کو نہیں، اور نہ انہیں یہ خیال آسکتا ہے کہ جب دوبارہ زندہ کئے جائیں گے۔ اس اللہ کی حمد جو آسمان و زمین کا خالق بے مثال ہے، اس نے فرشتوں کو قاصد بنایا کہ جن کے دو دو، تین تین، چار چار بازو ہیں، وہ جن کی تخلیق میں چاہتا ہے اضافہ کرتا ہے، بلا شبہ اللہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الْغَفُوْرِ الْغَفَّارِ الْوَدُوْدِ التَّوَّابِ الْوَهَّابِ الْكَبِیْرِ السَّمِیْعِ الْبَصِیْرِ الْعَلِیْمِ الصَّمَدِ الْحَیِّ الْقَیُّوْمِ الْعَزِیْزِ الْجَبَّارِ الْمَلِكِ الْمُقْتِدِرَ الْقَادِرِ الْمَلِیْكِ الْحَقِّ الْمُبِیْنِ الْعَلِیِّ الْآعْلَی الْمُتَعَالِ الْاَوَّلِ الْآخِرِ الْبَاطِنِ الظَّاهِرِ الْوَلِیِّ الْحَمِیْدِ النَّصِیْرِ الْخَلَّاقِ الْخَالِقِ الْبَارِئِی الْمُصَوِّرِ الْقَاهِرِ الْبَرِّ الشُّكُوْرِ الشَّاكِرِ الْوَكِیْلِ الشَّهِیْدِ الرَّءُوْفِ الرَّقِیْبِ الْفَتَّاحِ الْعَلِیْمِ الْكَرِیْمِ الْمَحْمُوْدِ الْجَلِیْلِ غَافِرِ الذَّنْۢبِ قَابِلِ التَّوْبِ مَلِكِ الْمُلُوْكِ عَالِمِ الْغَیْبِ وَالشَّهَادَۃِ الْقَاۗئِمِ الْكَرِیْمِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ۔

Glory be to Allah, the sovereign, the powerful, the omnipotent, the king, the “...manifest Truth” (24:25), the sublime, the most high the exalted, the first, the last, the hidden, the manifest, the guardian, the all-laudable, the helper, the creator, the maker, the originator, the fashioner, the subduer, the all-benign, the all-appreciating, the all-compelling, the appre-ciative, the guardian, the all-witnessing, the all-gentle, the watcher, “…the greatest judge, the all-knowing” (34:26), the all-generous, the most praised, the majestic, “...Forgiver of sins acceptor of repentance” (40:3), King of kings, “…the knower of the unseen and the visible” (6:73), the establisher, the all-generous, Lord of the worlds.

اس اللہ کی حمد جو بخشنے اور بہت معاف کرنے والا، محبت کرنے والا، توبہ قبول کرنے والا، بہت عطا کرنے والا، بہت بلند، سننےاور دیکھنے اور جاننے والا ہے، بے نیاز، زندہ و برقرار رکھنے، اقتدار رکھنے، جبروت رکھنے والا ہے، (وہ) حقیقی بادشاہ، صاحبِ اقتدار، قادر، صاحبِ ملکیت، حق، روشن، بلند و بلندتر، سرفراز، اوّل، آخر، باطن و ظاہر ہے،جس کی انتہائی تعریف کی جا چکی، ہر ایک کی مدد کرنے والا، بہت بڑا خالق، آفرید گار و موجد، ہر شئے کو شکل عطا کرنے والا، صاحبِ غلبہ، اصل نیکی، قدر دان، شکر شناس، کار ساز، سربراہ، ہر شئے کا مشاہدہ کرنے والا مہربان، نگہبان، کشائش عطا کرنے والا، صاحبِ علم، صاحبِ کرم، قابل تعریف، صاحبِ جلالت، گناہ بخش نے والا، توبہ قبول کرنے والا، بادشاہوں کا بادشاہ، غائب و حاضر کا عالم، برقرار و صاحبِ کرم، کائنات کا پروردگار ہے۔

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ عَظِیْمِ الْحَمْدِ عَظِیْمِ الْعَرْشِ عَظِیْمِ الْمُلْكِ عَظِیْمِ السُّلْطَانِ عَظِیْمِ الْحِلْمِ عَظِیْمِ الْكَرَامَۃِ عَظِیْمِ الرَّحْمَۃِ عَظِیْمِ الْبَلَاۗئِ عَظِیْمِ النُّوْرِ عَظِیْمِ الْفَضْلِ عَظِیْمِ الْعِزَّۃِ عَظِیْمِ الْكِبْرِیَاۗئِ عَظِیْمِ الْجَبَرُوْتِ عَظِیْمِ الشَّانِ عَظِیْمِ الْاَمْرِ تَبَارَكَ اللهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ تَبَارَكَ اللهُ الَّذِیْ هُوَ اَعْظَمُ مِنْ كُلِّ شَیْءٍ وَاَعَزُّ مِنْ كُلِّ شَیْءٍ وَاَكْبَرُ مِنْ كُلِّ شَیْءٍ وَاَرْحَمُ مِنْ كُلِّ شَیْءٍ وَاَمْلَكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَیْءٍ وَخَیْرٌ مِنْ كُلِّ شَیْءٍ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ۔

Praise belongs to Allah, all-mighty in praise, all-mighty of throne, all-mighty in dominion, all-mighty in sovereignty, all-mighty in knowledge, all-mighty in forbearance, all-mighty in nobility, all-mighty in mercy, all-mighty in trial, all-mighty in light, all-mighty in bounty, all-mighty in glory, all-mighty in grandeur, all-mighty in majesty, all-mighty in favours, all-mighty in compassion, all-mighty in blessings, all-mighty in magnificence, all-mighty in state, all-mighty in affair. “Blessed be Allah, Lord of the worlds” (7:54) Blessed be Allah Who is mightier than everything, more glorious than everything, more merciful than everything, Who possesses more authority than everything, is more excellent than everything, more sublime than everything and more powerful than everything.

اس اللہ کی حمد جس کی حمد بھی عظیم ہے اور عرش بھی، ملک بھی بڑا اور قوت بھی، بردباری بھی بڑی اور کرامت بھی، رحمت بھی عظیم اور آزمائش بھی عظیم، نور بھی بےحد اور فضل بھی، عزّت بھی بہت اور کبیریائی بھی عظیم، جبروت بھی عظیم، شان بھی سب سے ممتاز اور حکم بھی عظیم، کائنات کا پروردگار پاک و پاکیزہ ہے، صاحبِ برکت ہے وہ اللہ جو ہر چیز سے عظیم، ہر شئے سے زیادہ با اقتدار، ہر چیز سے زیادہ بلند، ہر ایک سے زیادہ مہربان، ہر چیز سے زیادہ صاحبِ ملکیت اور ہر چیز سے زیادہ مہر بان، ہر شئے سے زیادہ بہتر، کائنات کے پروردگار معبود کی تمام تعریفیں۔

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیْمِ الرَّءُوْفِ الرَّحِیْمِ الْعَزِیْزِ الْحَكِیْمِ الْخَلَّاقِ الْعَلِیْمِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوْسِ الْجَلِیْلِ الْكَبِیْرِ الْمُتَعَالِ الْمُتَعَظِّمِ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ الْمُتَجَبِّرِ الْجَبَّارِ الْقَهَّارِ مَالِكِ الْجَنَّۃِ وَالنَّارِ لَهُ الْكِبْرِیَاۗءُ وَالْجَبَرُوْتُ وَلَهُ الْحُكْمُ وَاِلَیْهِ یَصْعَدُ الْكَلِمُ الطَّیِّبُ وَالْعَمَلُ الصَّالِحُ یَرْفَعُهٗ بِرَحْمَتِكَ یَا اَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ۔

“Praise belongs to Allah the Lord of the worlds” (1:2). Praise belongs to Allah, the sublime, the all-mighty, the all-gentle, the all-merciful, the invincible, the all-wise, the creator, the all-knowing, the king, the all-holy, the majestic, the all-great, the exalted, the magnificent, the all-sublime, the possessor of magnificence, the all-compelling, the omnipotent, master of the garden and the fire. His is the grandeur and the magnificence, and “His is the judgement” (28:88). “To Him good words go up, and the righteous deed He uplifts it” (35:10). O Allah, bless Muhammad (s.a.w.a) and the family of Muhammad (a.s), and make our actions rise up to You and attain Your acceptance, and help us to perform them for You. Surely no one brings good except You and no one averts evil except You. Avert from us the evil and that which is feared. Bless us in all affairs. Surely You are most forgiving, all-grateful. O Allah! Do not disappoint us in our supplication, and do not make our enemies rejoice at our affliction, make us not an object for tribulation nor a target for that which is disapproved. Pardon us and grant us wellbeing in all circumstances. Surely You are powerful over all things and surely You are the all-great, the exalted.

اس اللہ کی تمام تعریفیں جو بزرگ و برتر، مہربان و رحیم، صاحبِ اقتدار و حکمت، ہر چیز کا خالق، ہر ایک سے باخبر، حقیقی بادشاہ، انتہائی پاکیزہ، صاحبِ جلالت و کبریائی، صاحبِ رفعت و عظمت ہے، صاحبِ بزرگی و جبروت، صاحبِ غلبہ، جنت و دوذخ کا مالک، کبریائی و جبروت اسی کے لئے ہے، اسی کا حکم ہے اور (حمد و ثنا کی) اچھی باتیں اسی کی بارگاہ میں باریاب ہوتی ہیں، اور نیک عمل کو وہی بلندی دیتا ہے، تجھے اپنی رحمت کا صدقہ اے مہربانوں میں سب سے بڑے رحم کرنے والے۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.

اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
