Dua for 5th Day

بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فِی اللَّیْلِ اِذَا اَدْبَرَ وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ فِی الصُّبْحِ اِذَا اَسْفَرَ وَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا یَبْلُغُ اَوَّلُہٗ شُکْرَکَ وَآخِرُہٗ رِضْوَانَکَ وَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ مَحْمُوْدًا وَفِیْ عِبَادِکَ مَعْبُوْدًا۔ اَللّٰہُمَّ لَکَ الْحَمْدُ فِی الْقَضَاۗئِ وَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ فِی الرَّخَاۗئِ وَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ فِی الشِّدَّۃِ وَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ فِی النِّعَمِ الظَّاہِرَۃِ وَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ فِی النِّعَمِ الْبَاطِنَۃِ وَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ فِی النِّعَمِ الْمُتَظَاہِرَۃِ وَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ رَبُّ الْحَمْدِ وَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ وَلِیُّ الْحَمْدِ مِنْکَ بَدَئَ الْحَمْدُ وَاِلَیْکَ یَنْتَہِیْ۔

O Allah, to You belongs praise in “...the night when it retreats” (74:33), And to You belongs praise in “…the dawn when it brightens” (74:34), to You belongs praise, a praise the beginning of which attains gratitude and the end of it Your pleasure, to You belongs praise in the heavens, all-laudable, and among Your servants and in Your lands where You are worshipped. O Allah to You belongs praise in the decree, to You belongs praise in ease, to You belongs praise in hardship, to You belongs praise in outward blessings, to You belongs praise in blessings gathered one upon another, to You belongs praise, Lord of praise, guardian of praise. From You begins praise and to You praise ultimately leads.

بار خدایا! راتوں میں تیری حمد جب وہ جا رہی ہوں، تیری حمد صبح کو جب وہ اُبھر رہی ہو، اور تیری حمد اور ایسی حمد جس کے آغاز میں تیرا شکر اور آخرت میں تیری خوشنودیاں ہوں، تیری حمد کہ آسمانوں میں تو قابل حمد ہے اور اپنے بندوں میں معبود ہے۔ بار الہٰا! تیری حمد فیصلے کے موقع پر، اور تیری حمد آسانیوں میں، تیری حمد دشواریوں میں تیری حمد ظاہری نعمتوں میں، تیری حمد پوشیدہ نعمتوں میں اور تیری حمد پے در پے نعمتوں میں، اور تیری حمد کہ تو مالک حمد ہے، تیری حمد کہ ولیِّ حمد ہے، تیری ذات ہی سے حمد شروع اور تیری ہی ذات پر انتہا ہوئی۔

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلہِ فِیْ اَوَّلِ اللَّیْلِ وَآخِرِ النَّہَارِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلہِ فِی الْاَوَّلِیْنَ وَالْآخِرِیْنَ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلہِ مَلَأَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِیْنَ مَا یَشَاۗئُ بَعْدَ ذٰلِکَ حَتّٰی یَرْضٰی۔ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلہِ عَدَدَ خَلْقِہٖ وَاَفْضَلَ مِنْ ذٰلِکَ مَا یَشَاۗئُ فَاِنَّہٗ اَحْصٰی کُلَّ شَیْءٍ عَدَدًا وَ وَسِعَ کُلَّ شَیْءٍ رَحْمَۃً الْحَمْدُ لِلہِ الَّذِیْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ وَمَا بَیْنَہُمَا فِیْ سِتَّۃِ اَیَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوٰی عَلَی الْعَرْشِ۔

All praise belongs to Allah in the beginning of the night and the end of the day, all praise belongs to Allah in “…the earlier and the later generations” (56:49), all praise belongs to Allah, the heavens’ and the earths’ full, and whatsoever He wills after that until He is pleased. All praise belongs to Allah equal to the number of His creation, and exceeding that, according to what He wills, for “…He has counted everything in numbers” (72:28), and “…encompasses everything in mercy and knowledge” (40:7). All praise belongs to Allah “…who created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in six days, then firmly established Himself upon the throne (of supreme authority)” (25:59). All praise belongs to Allah “…who raised up the heavens without any pillars you can see” (13:2).

اللہ کی مکمل حمد آغاز شب میں اور آخر روز میں، اور اللہ کی حمد مکمل اوّلین و آخرین میں۔ اللہ ہی کی حمد آسمانوں اور زمینوں کی وسعتوں میں اور اس کے بعد جہاں تک ارادۂ تخلیق ہو، اتنی حمد کہ وہ رضا مند ہو جائے۔ اللہ تعالٰی کی حمد جس قدر اس کی مخلوق ہے، بلکہ اس سے بھی زیادہ تا کہ وہ راضی ہو جائے، کیونکہ وہ ہر چیز کے عدد کا احاطہ کئے ہوئے ہے، ہر شئے پر اس (اللہ) کی رحمت محیط ہے، اور اس اللہ کی حمد جس نے آسمان و زمین میں اور ان کے درمیان آبادیوں کو چھ دنوں میں پیدا کیا، پھر عرش پر اپنی توانائیاں قائم کیں۔

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلہِ الَّذِیْ رَفَعَ السَّمٰوٰتِ بِغَیْرِ عَمَدٍ یُرٰی اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِیْ زَیَّنَ السَّمَاۗئَ الدُّنَیَا بِمَصَابِیْحَ وَجَعَلَهَا رُجُوْمًا لِلشَّیَاطِیْنَ۔ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِیْ جَعَلَ فِی السَّمَاۗئِ رِزْقَنَا مَا وَعَدَنَا رَبَّنَا۔ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِیْ جَعَلَ الْاَرْضَ بِسَاطًا وَاَنْۢبَتَ لَنَا فِیْهَا مِنَ الشَّجَرِ وَالزَّرْعِ وَالْفَوَاكِهَ وَالنَّخْلَ اَلْوَانًا۔ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِیْ جَعَلَ فِی الْاَرْضِ جَنَّاتٍ وَاَعْنَابًا وَفَجَّرَ فِیْهَا عُیُوْنًا وَجَعَلَ فِیْهَا اَنْهَارًا۔ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِیْ جَعَلَ فِیْهَا رَوَاسِیَ اَنْ تَمِیْدَ بِنَا فَجَعَلَهَا لِلْاَرْضِ اَوْتَادًا۔

All praise belongs to Allah who “…adorned the lowest heaven with lamps and made them missiles to drive away the devils” (67:5). All praise belongs to Allah who made in the heaven our provision, and that which our Lord promised. All praise belongs to Allah who made “…the earth as a carpet” (70:19), and in it caused to grow for us trees, crops, fruits and dates of various kinds. All praise belongs to Allah who made in the earth gardens and vines and caused to gush forth in it springs, and made in it rivers. All praise belongs to Allah who made “…on the earth firm mountains, lest it shake” (16:15) with us, then made them “…as pegs” (78:7). All praise belongs to Allah who has subjected to us the sea, that the ships may run on it at His commandment, and that we may seek His bounty (45:12), and made for us of it “…ornaments for us to wear” (16:14) and “…fresh flesh” (16:14). All praise belongs to Allah who subjected to us the cattle that we may eat of them, and made of them mounts for us; and made for us from the “…skins of the cattle, houses (tents)” (16:80), a garment and a resting place and “…an enjoyment for a while” (16:80).

اس اللہ کی حمد جس نے آسمانوں کو بگیر کسی ستون کے بلند کیا۔ اس اللہ کی حمد جس نے آسمانِ دنیا کو چراغوں سے مزیّن کیا اور ان چراغوں کو شیطانوں کے لئے سنگ زن بنایا۔ اس اللہ کی حمد جس نے آسمان میں ہمارے مقدر کی روزی خلق (پیدا) کی، اس اللہ کی حمد (تعریف) جس نے زمین کو فرش بنایا، اور اس پر ہمارے لئے طرح طرح کے درخت اور کھیت، پھل اور شجر خرما پیدا کئے، اس اللہ کی حمد جس نے زمین میں چمن اور انگورستان پیدا کئے، اور زمین پر چشموں کے مرکز بہائے، اس میں دریا رواں کئے۔

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِیْ سَخَّرَلَنَا الْبَحْرَ لِتَجْرِیَ الْفُلْكَ فِیْهِ بِاَمْرِهٖ وَلِتَبْتَغِیْ مِنْ فَضْلِهٖ وَجَعَلَ لَنَا مِنْهُ حِلْیَۃً تَلْبَسُهَا وَلَحْمًا طَرِیًّا۔ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِیْ سَكَرَلَنَا الْاَنْعَامَ لِتَاكُلَ مِنْهَا وَجَعَلَ لَنَا مِنْهَا رُكُوْبًا وَجَعَلَ لَنَا مِنْ جُلُوْدِ الْاَنْعَامِ بُیُوْتًا وَلِبَاسًا وَفِرَاشًا وَمَتَاعًا اِلٰی حِیْنٍ۔ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الْكَرِیْمِ فِیْ مُلْكِهِ الْقَاهِرِ لِمَنْ فِیْهِ الْقَادِرِ عَلٰی اَمْرِهِ الْمَحْمُوْدِ فِیْ صُنْعِهِ اللَّطِیْفِ بِعِلْمِهِ الرَّئُوْفِ بِعِبَادِهِ الْمُسْتَاثِرِ بِجَبَرُوْتِهٖ فِیْ عِزِّ جَلَالِهٖ وَهَیْبَتِهٖ۔ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الْفَاشِیْ فِی الْخَلْقِ حَمْدَهُ الظَّاهِرِ بِالْكِبْرِیَاۗئِ مَجْدُهُ الْبَاسِطِ بِالْخَیْرِ یَدُهٗ۔

All praise belong to Allah, all-generous in His kingdom, the omnipotent over those in it, powerful over His affair, all-laudable in His fashioning, all-subtle in His knowledge, all-gentle to His servants, exclusive, through His magnificence, in His glory and majesty and awe. All praise belongs to Allah whose praise is widespread amongst the creation, Whose glory is apparent through grandeur, Whose hand is outstretched with good. All praise belongs to Allah who has clothed Himself in praise, clad Himself in pride, magnified Himself through awe, who is distinguished through omnipotence, and Who is veiled, through the rays of His light, from the sight of His creation. All praise belongs to Allah Who has no adversary to Him in His dominion, nor any contender with Him in His affair, nor anyone like Him in His creation. There is no god but He, there is no averting His command, nor any repelling of His decree. He has neither opposite nor partner, nor any equal, likeness or similitude; The one who asks of Him does not incapacitate Him, the one who flees does not outstrip Him, nor does anyone hold back from Him. He created creation without the source, and brought them into existence without a model, prevailed over making without helpers, and raised the heavens without pillars, and spread the earth on the air without supports.

اس اللہ کی حمد جس نے اس زمین میں پہاڑوں کو پیدا کیا تا کہ وہ کہیں ہمیں لے کر اُلٹ نہ جائے، ان پہاڑیوں کو زمین کی مضبوطی کا ذریعہ (میخ) بنایا۔ اُس اللہ کی حمد و تعریف جس نے ہمارے لئے سمندر کو مسخر کیا کہ اس کے حکم سے اس میں جہاز چل سکیں، اور ہم فضل خدا تعالٰ (منافع تجارت) حاصل کریں، اور اس نے پہننے کے زیور اور تازہ تازہ گوشت پیدا کیا۔ اُس اللہ کی حمد جس نے ہمارے لئے جانوروں کو مسخر کیا، تا کہ ہم انہیں کھا سکیں، اس میں سے کچھ جانوروں کو سواری کی لئے بنایا، اور ان جانوروں کی کھالوں سے ہمارے لیے خیمے بنائے، اور لباس و فرش اور ایک مدّت معین کے لئے سرمایہ عطا فرمایا۔ اُس اللہ کی حمد جو اپنے ملک میں کریم، مخلوقات کے لئے قادر، اس کے معاملات میں با اختیار، اپنی تخلیق میں قابل تعریف، اپنے علم میں لطیف، اپنے بندوں پر مہربان، اپنی ہیبت و جلالت و عزّت میں جبروتیت کے ساتھ غالب۔

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِیْ تَرَدّٰی بِالْحَمْدِ وَتَعَطَّفَ بِالْفَخْرِ وَتَكَبَّرَ بِالْمَهَابَۃِ وَاسْتَشْعَرَ بِالْجَبَرُوْتِ وَاحْتَجَبَ شُعَاعَ نُوْرِهٖ عَنْ نَوَاظِرِ خَلْقِهٖ۔ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِیْ لَا مُضَادَّلَهٗ وَلَا مُنَازِعَ لَهٗ فِیْ اَمْرِهٖ وَلَا شَبِیْهَ لَهٗ فِیْ خَلْقِهٖ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ لَا رَادَّ لِاَمْرِهٖ وَلَا دَافِعَ لِقَضَاۗئِهٖ لَیْسَ لَهٗ ضِدٌّ وَلَا نِدٌّ وَلَا عَدْلٌ وَلَا شَبِیْهٌ وَلَا مِثْلٌ وَلَا یُعْجِزُهٗ مَنْ طَلَبَهٗ وَلَا یَسْبِقُهٗ مَنْ هَرَبَ وَلَا یَمْتَنِعُ مِنْهُ اَحْدٌ خَلَقَ الْخَلْقَ عَلٰی غَیْرِ اَصْلٍ وَابْتِدَئَ هُمْ عَلٰی غَیْرِ مِثَالٍ وَقَهَرَ الْعِبَادَ بِغَیْرِ اَعْوَانٍ وَرَفَعَ السَّمَاۗئَ بِغَیْرِ عَمَدٍ وَبَسَطَ الْاَرْضَ عَلَی الْهَوَاۗئِ بِغَیْرِ اَرْكَانٍ۔ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ عَلٰی مَا مَضٰی وَعَلٰی مَا بَقٰی وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ عَلٰی مَا یُبْدِیَ وَعَلٰی مَا یُخْفٰی وَعَلٰی مَا كَانَ وَعَلٰی مَا یَكُوْنُ۔

All praise belongs to Allah for that which has passed and that which remains, and to Him belongs praise for that which He makes manifest and that which He conceals, and for that which was and that which will be. O Allah, to You belongs praise for Your forbearance after Your knowledge, to You belongs praise for Your pardon after Your ability (to punish), to You belongs praise for Your forgiveness after Your excusing (sins), to You belongs praise for that which You take and that which You give, to You belongs praise for that in which You put to the test and afflict, and to You belongs praise for Your affair, with a praise that has the ability to attain You, and does not fall short of attaining the most excellent of Your pleasure.

اس اللہ کی حمد جس کی حمد مخلوق پر عیاں ہے، جس کی کبریائی سے بزرگیاں طاہر ہیں، جو نیکیوں کے لئے دستِ قدرت کھولے ہوئے ہے۔ اس اللہ کی حد جس نے خلت حمد زیبِ تن کی، اور فخر کی شال اوڑھ لی ہے، اور عظمت کی وجہ سے سر بلند ہے، جبروتیت کا لباس اور اپنے نور کی شعاعوں کی وجہ سے لوگوں کی نِگاہوں سے پشیدہ ہوگیا۔ اس اللہ کی حمد جس کا نہ کوئی مقابل ہے نہ اس کے معاملات میں کوئی حریف، نہ مخلوق میں کوئی اس کا مشابہ ہے، اس کے سوا کوئی اللہ نہیں، اس کے حکم کو رد کرنے والا کوئی نہیں، نہ اس کے فیصلوں کو کوئی دفع کرنے والا ہے، نہ کوئی ٹکر کی چیز ہے نہ مقابل کی، نہ جواب ہے نہ شبیہ نہ مثال، اور جسے وہ حاصل کرنا چاہے اسے ناکام نہیں بنایا جا سکتا، اور جو اس سے فرار ہونا چاہے وہ بھاگ کر کہیں جا نہیں سکتا، نہ اس سے کوئی بچا سکتا ہے کسی اصل (بُنیادی مددے) کے بغیر خلقت کو پیدا کیا، جسے مثال (ماڈل) کے بغیر ابتدا کر دی مدد گاروں کے بغیر بندوں پر غلبہ حاصل کیا، اور آسمان کو بے سہارے بلند کیا۔ زمین کو بنیادوں کے بغیر فضا میں بچھایا۔ اس اللہ کی حمد اس بات پر بھی جو ہوچکا اور اس پر بھی جو باقی ہے، اور اسی کی حمد ان چیزوں پر بھی جو ظاہر ہیں اور ان باتون پر جو نہیں معلوم، جو ہوچکا اور جو ہوگا۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلٰی حِلْمِكَ بَعْدَ عِلْمِكَ وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلٰی عَفْوِكَ بَعْدَ قُدْرَتِكَ وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلٰی صَفْحِكَ بَعْدَ اِعْذَارِكَ وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلٰی مَاتَاخُذُ وَعَلٰی مَا تُعْطِیْ وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلٰی مَا تُبْلِیْ وَتَبْتَلِیْ وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلٰی اَمْرِكَ حَمْدًا لَا یَعْجِزُ عَنْكَ وَلَا یَقْصُرُ دُوْنَ اَفْضَلِ رِضَاكَ یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ وَصَلَّی اللهُ عَلٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِهِ الطَّیِّبِیْنَ الطَّاهِرِیْنَ۔

O Allah, bless Muhammad (s.a.w.a) and his family, and do not leave for us, in this hour, any sin but that You forgive it, nor any anxiety but that You dispel it, nor any fault but that You conceal it, nor any sick person but that You heal him, nor any debt but that You repay it, nor any evil but that You avert it, nor any good but that You bestow it, nor any stranger but that You accompany him, nor any absent person but that You release him, nor any troubled one but that You relieve his anxiety, nor any fearful one but that You keep him safe, nor any enemy but that You are sufficient for him, nor any broken one but that You restore him to soundness, nor any hungry one but that You fill him, nor any thirsty one but that You give him to drink, nor any naked one but that You clothe him, nor any need amongst the needs of this world and the Hereafter, which have in them Your pleasure and our good, but that You fulfill them, with ease and soundness, O most merciful of the merciful, and Allah bless Mohammad (s.a.w.a) and his righteous family.

پروردگار! تیری حمد اس بات پر کہ علم ہوتے ہوئے چشم پوشی کرتا ہے، اور تیری حمد کہ قدرت کے باوجود معاف فرماتا ہے، اور تیری حمد کہ موقع توبہ دینے کے بعد بھی معاف کیا، اور تیری حمد جو بھی تو واپس لیتا یا عطا فرماتا ہے، اور تیری حمد ہر آزمائش و امتحان پر اور تیری حمد تیرے احکام پر، ایسی حمد کہ تیرے حضور تک رسائیی میں نا کام نہ رہے، اور نہ تیری بہترین خوشنودیوں تک پہنچنے میں کوتاہ ہو، اے مہربانوں میں سب سے بڑے مہربان اور رحمت نازل فرما محمدؐ پر اور ان کی طیّب و طاہر اولاد پر۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.

اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
