رسول خداؐ سے روایت ہے کہ آپؐ نے فرمایا: اگر جن پتھر پھینکتا ہوتو وہی پتھر اٹھا کر ادھر پھینکے کہ جدھر سے آیا ہو اور یہ کہے۔۔۔
حَسْبِىَ اللهُ وَكَفٰى وَسَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ دَعَا لَيْسَ وَرَآءَ اللهِ مُنْتَهٰى۔
Hasbiya allaahu wakafaa wasami'a allaahu liman da'aa laysa waraa'a allaahi muntahaa.
Allah is sufficient for me, and He suffices. Allah hears the one who calls (upon Him). There is no end beyond Allah.
مجھے اللہ کافی اور بہت ہے خدا نے اس کی سنی جس نے اسے پکارا اورخداسے بلند تر کی کوئی حد نہیں۔
To secure oneself from jinn, it is useful to breed chickens, roosters, and young goats in one’s house. To secure oneself from jinn in journeys, wastelands, and places expected to be haunted, Imam Sadiq (a) is reported to have advised that one should put his hand on the center of the head and recite the following holy verse (3:83) in a loud voice.
جنّات کے شر سے بچنے کے لئے گھر میں مرغ کبوتر اور بھیڑ بکری کا بچہ رکھنا مفید ہے، مزید سفر میں بیابانوں اور خوف ناک جگہوں میں جنات کے شر سے بچاؤ کے لئے بھی مفید ہیں۔ امام جعفر صادقؑ سے روایت ہے : دونوں ہاتھ سر پر رکھ کر بہ آواز بلند (سورۂ آل عمران،آیت ۸۳) پڑھے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَفَغَيْرَ دِيْنِ اللهِ يَبْغُوْنَ وَلَهٗٓ اَسْلَمَ مَنْ فِي السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ طَوْعًا وَّكَرْهًا وَّاِلَيْهِ يُرْجَعُوْنَ
Afaghayra deeni allaahi yabghoona walahoo aslama man fee as-samaawaati wal-ardi taw'an wakarhan wa-ilayhi yurja'oon
Is it then other than Allah’s religion that they seek (to follow), and to Him submits whoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and to Him shall they be returned.
کیا یہ لوگ دینِ خدا کے علاوہ کچھ اور تلاش کررہے ہیں جب کہ زمین و آسمان کی ساری مخلوقات بہ رضا و رغبت یا بہ جبر وکراہت اسی کی بارگاہ میں سر تسلیم خم کئے ہوئے ہے اور سب کو اسی کی بارگاہ میں واپس جانا ہے۔
It is also reported that when the lands expected to be haunted are entered, it is advisable to utter the adhan.
اس طرح بیابانوں جنگلوں اور خوف ناک مقامات کے بارے میں روایت ہے کہ وہاں بہ آواز بلند اذان کہی جائے تو جنات سے بچاؤ ہوسکتا ہے۔
