امام موسیٰ کاظمؑ سے مروی ہے کہ حضرت رسول خداؐ نے حضرت امیر المومنین علی ابن ابی طالبؑ سے فرمایا : جب تمہیں کوئی مشکل معاملہ پیش آئے تو یہ پڑھا کرو۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّى اَسْئَلُكَ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ اَنْ تُصَلِّىَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاَنْ تُنْجِيَنِىْ مِنْ هٰذَا الْغَمِّ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bihaqqi muhammadin wa-aali muhammadin an tusalliya 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammadin wa-an tunjiyanee min haazaa al-ghamm.
O Allah, I beseech You in the name of Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad to bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and to save me from this distress.
اے معبود !میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں محمدؐ و آل محمدؑ کے حق کے ساتھ کہ تو رحمت نازل فرما محمدؐ و آل محمدؑ پر اور یہ کہ مجھے اس غم و اندوہ سے نجات عطا فرما ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
