Recite this dua daily because it is a declaration of our faith, what we believe and whom we follow. It brings countless blessings for us in this world; and on the day of judgement will serve us as Visa for Jannat.
شیخ طوسیؒ نے محمد ابن سلیمان دیلمی سے روایت کی ہے کہ میں نے امام جعفر صادقؑ کی خدمت میں عرض کیا: بعض شیعہ بھائیوں کا کہنا ہے کہ ایمان کی دو قسمیں ہیں:یعنی ایک محکم و ثابت اور دوسرا عارضی و امانتی جو زائل ہوسکتا ہے۔ اب آپ مجھے کوئی ایسی دعا تعلیم فرمائیں کہ جس کے پڑھنے سے میرا ایمان قائم و ثابت رہے اور زائل نہ ہونے پائے۔ تو آپؑ نے فرمایا : ہر واجب نماز کے بعد یہ دعا پڑھا کرو۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
رَضِیْتُ بِاللہِ رَبًّا وَّبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَآلِہٖ نَبِیًّا وَّبِالْاِسْلَامِ دِیْنًا وَّبِالْقُرْآنِ کِتَاْبًا وَّبِالْکَعْبَۃِ قِبْلَۃً وَّبِعَلِیٍّ وَّلِیًّا وَّاِمَامًا وَّبِالْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَیْنِ وَعَلِیِّ ابْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ وَمُحَمَّدِ ابْنِ عَلِیٍّ وَّجَعْفَرِ ابْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّمُوْسَی بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ۔
Radeetu billaahi rabban wabimuhammadin sallaa allaahu 'alayhi wa-aalihee nabiyyan wabil-islaami deenan wabilqur'aani kita'ban wabilka'bati qiblatan wabi'aliyyin waliyyan wa-imaaman wabilhasani wal-husayni wa'aliyyi ibni al-husayni wamuhammadi ibni 'aliyyin waja'fari ibni muhammadin wamoosaa ibni ja'far.
I am satisfied and happy that Allah is my Lord, Muhammad (blessings of Allah be on him and on his children) is my prophet; Islam is my religion, Quran is the book (I follow), Kabah is the direction (towards which I turn), Ali is my wali (vicegerent) and Imam (guide), Hasan, Husayn, Ali son of Husayn, Muhammad son of Ali, Jafar son of Muhammad, Musa son of Jafar.
میں راضی ہوں اس پر کہ اﷲمیرا رب اور حضرت محمدؐ میرے نبی ہیں اسلام میرادین ہے قرآن میری کتاب ہےکعبہ میرا قبلہ ہے اور راضی ہوں اس پر کہ علیؑ میرے مولا اور امام ہیں نیز حسنؑ و حسینؑ ، علیؑ ابن حسینؑ ، محمدؑ ابن علیؑ ، جعفرؑ ابن محمدؑ، موسیٰٰؑ ابن جعفرؑ۔
وَعَلِیِّ بْنِ مُوْسٰی وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ وَّعَلِیِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّالْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ وَّالْحُجَّۃِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْعَسْکَرِیِّ صَلَوَاتُ اللہِ عَلَیْھِمْ اَئِمَّۃً۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْ رَضِیْتُ بِھِمْ اَئِمَّۃً فَارْضَنِیْ لَھُمْ اِنَّکَ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَىْٓءٍ قَدِیْرٌ۔
Wa'aliyyi ibni moosaa wamuhammadi ibni 'aliyyin wa'aliyyi ibni muhammadin walhasani ibni 'aliyyin walhujjati ibni al-hasani al-'askariyyi salawaatu allaahi 'alayhim a'immah.
Allaahumma innee radeetu bihim a'immatan fardanee lahum innaka 'alaa kulli shay'in qadeer.
Ali son of Musa, Muhammad son of Ali, Ali son of Muhammad, Hasan son of Ali, Hujjat (living argument) son of Hasan, (blessings of Allah be on them all) are my Imams (guides). O Allah, I am satisfied and happy that all of them are my Imams, so let me be a source of happiness to them. Verily You are able to do all things.
علیؑ ابن موسیٰٰؑ ، محمدؑ ابن علیؑ، علیؑ ابن محمدؑ، حسنؑ ابن علیؑ ،اور حجتؑ ابن حسنؑ کہ ان پر اللہ کی رحمتیں ہوں میرے امام ہیں اے معبود! میں راضی ہوں کہ وہ میرے امامؑ ہیں اب انہیں مجھ سے راضی فرمادے بے شک توہر چیز پرقادر ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
