Isha Supplications
تعقیباتِ عشاء
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنَّہٗ لَیْسَ لِیْ عِلْمٌۢ بِمَوْضِعِ رِزْقِیْ وَاِنَّمَا اَطْلُبُہٗ بِخَطَرَاتٍ تَخْطُرُ عَلٰی قَلْبِیْ فَاَجُوْلُ فِیْ طَلَبِہِ الْبُلْدَانَ فَاَنَا فِیْمَآ اَنَا طَالِبٌ كَالْحَیْرَانِ لَا اَدْرِیْ اَفِیْ سَھْلٍ ھُوَ اَمْ فِیْ جَبَلٍ اَمْ فِیْ اَرْضٍ اَمْ فِیْ سَمَآءٍ اَمْ فِیْ بَرٍّ اَمْ فِیْ بَحْرٍ وَّعَلٰی یَدَیْ مَنْ وَّمِنْ قِبَلِ مَنْ وَّ قَدْ عَلِمْتُ اَنَّ عِلْمَہٗ عِنْدَكَ وَاَسْبَابَہٗ بِیَدِكَ وَاَنْتَ الَّذِیْ تَقْسِمُہٗ بِلُطْفِكَ وَتُسَبِّبُہٗ بِرَحْمَتِكَ۔ اَللّٰھُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِہٖ وَاجْعَلْ یَارَبِّ رِزْقَكَ لِیْ وَاسِعًا وَمَطْلَبَہٗ سَھْلًا وَمَاخَذَہٗ قَرِیْبًا وَّلَا تُعَنِّنِیْ بِطَلَبِ مَا لَمْ تُقَدِّرْ لِیْ فِیْہِ رِزْقًا فَاِنَّكَ غَنِیٌّ عَنْ عَذَابِیْ وَاَنَا فَقِیْرٌ اِلٰی رَحْمَتِكَ فَصَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِہٖ وَجُدْ عَلٰی عَبْدِكَ بِفَضْلِكَ اِنَّكَ ذُوْ فَضْلٍ عَظِیْمٍ۔
Allaahumma innahu laysa lee i’lmun be mawze-e’ rizqee wa innamaa atlobohu be-khataraatin takhtoro a’laa qalbee fa-ajoolo fee talabehil buldaana fa-anaa feemaa anaa taalebun kal hayraane laa adree a-fee sahlin howa am fee jabalin am fee arzin am fee arzin am fee samaaa-in am fee barrin am fee bahrin wa a’laa yaday man wa min qebale man wa qad a’limto anna i’lmahu i’ndaka wa asbaabahu be yadeka wa antal lazee taqsemohu be lutfeka wa tosabbebohu be rahmateka.
Allaahumma fasalle a’laa mohammadiwn wa aalehi waj-a’l yaa rabbe rizqaka lee waa-se-a’n wa matlabahu sahlan wa ma’khazahu qareeban wa laa to-a’nne-nee be talabe maa lam toqaddir lee feehe rizqan fa-innaka ghaniyyun a’n a’zaabee wa anaa faqeerun elaa rahmateka fa salle a’laa mohammadin wa aalehi wa jud a’layya a’bdeka be fazleka innaka zoo fazlin a’zeemin.
O Allah! surely, I have no knowledge of the main source of my subsistence, and I seek it only through the passing thoughts that come to my heart, and I wander about in cities searching for it, and I am perplexed in regard to what I search for. I do not know whether it is in a valley or in the mountains, in the earth or in the heavens, in the continent or in the sea, and in whose hands it is, and from whom it is. And surely I know that Thou hast its Knowledge, and its sources are in Thy hand, and Thou alone distributes it by Thy kindness, and creates opportunities through Thy mercy. O Allah therefore bless Muhammad and his progeny; and O Lord! increase my sustenance, apportioned by Thee, and make easy to search and the source near; and do not make me strive in the search of what Thou hast not decreed from my sustenance. For, surely: Thou art indifferent to chastise me and I need Thy mercy. Bless Muhammad and his progeny and by Thy grace show generosity to Thy slave, surely Thou art the most generous.
خداوند ا! مجھے اپنی روزی کے مقام کا علم نہیں اور میں اسے اپنے خیال کے تحت ڈھونڈتا ہوں پس میں طلبِ رزق میں شہر ودیار کے چکر کاٹتا ہوں پس میں جس کی طلب میں ہوں اس میں حیران و سرگرداں ہوں اور میں نہیں جانتا کہ آیا میرا رزق صحرا میں ہے یا پہاڑ میں زمین میں ہے یا آسمان میں، خشکی میں ہے یا تری میں، کس کے ہاتھ اور کس کی طرف سے ہے اور میں جانتا ہوں کہ اس کا علم تیرے پاس ہے اس کے اسباب تیرے قبضے میں ہیں اور تو اپنے کرم سے رزق تقسیم کرتا ہے اپنی رحمت سے اس کے اسباب فراہم کرتا ہے۔ خدایا!محمدؐ وآل محمدؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما اور اے پروردگار! اپنا رزق میرے لئے وسیع کر دے اس کا طلب کرنا آسان بنا دے اور اس کے ملنے کی جگہ قریب کر دے جس چیز میں تو نے رزق نہیں رکھا مجھے اس کی طلب کے رنج میں نہ ڈال کہ تو مجھے عذاب دینے میں بے نیاز ہے میں تیر ی رحمت کا محتاج ہوں پس محمدؐوآل محمدؐ پر رحمت فرما اور اس ناچیز بندے کواپنے فضل سے حصہ عطا فرما کہ تو بڑا فضل کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
