جاننا چاہیئے کہ انسان کے لیے بہتر یہ ہے کہ غروب آفتاب کے قریب مسجد میں جانے کے لیے جلدی کرے اور جب سورج پر زردی آجائے تو یہ دعا پڑھے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَمْسٰى ظُلْمِىْ مُسْتَجِيْرًا بِعَفْوِكَ وَاَمْسَتْ ذُنُوْبِىْ مُسْتَجِيْرَةً بِمَغْفِرَتِكَ وَاَمْسٰى خَوْفِىْ مُسْتَجِيْرًا بِاَمَانِكَ وَاَمْسٰى ذُلِّىْ مُسْتَجِيْرًا بِعِزِّكَ وَاَمْسٰى فَقْرِىْ مُسْتَجِيْرًا بِغِنَاكَ وَاَمْسٰى وَجْهِىَ الْفَانِىْ الْبَالِىْ مُسْتَجِيْرًا بِوَجْهِكَ الدَّآئِمِ الْبَاقِىْ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَلْبِسْنِىْ عَافِيَتَكَ وَغَشِّنِىْ بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَجَلِّلْنِىْ كَرَامَتَكَ وَقِنِىْ شَرَّ خَلْقِكَ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْاِنْسِ يَا اَللهُ يَا رَحْمٰنُ يَا رَحِيْمُ۔
Amsaa zulmee mustajeeran bi'afwika wa-amsat zunoobee mustajeeratan bimaghfiratika wa-amsaa khawfee mustajeeran bi-amaanika wa-amsaa zullee mustajeeran bi'izzika wa-amsaa faqree mustajeeran bighinaaka wa-amsaa wajhiya al-faanee al-baalee mustajeeran biwajhika ad-daa'imi al-baaqee.
Allaahumma al-bisnee 'aafiyataka waghashshinee birahmatika wajallilnee karaamataka waqinee sharra khalqika mina al-jinni wal-insi yaa allaahu yaa rahmaanu yaa raheem.
As evening comes, my wrongdoing seeks refuge in Your pardon; my sins seek refuge in Your forgiveness; my fear seeks refuge in Your security; my humiliation seeks refuge in Your might; my poverty seeks refuge in Your richness; and my worn, perishing face seeks refuge in Your Face the Everlasting, the Enduring. O Allah, clothe me in Your well-being, envelop me in Your mercy, cover me with Your generosity, and protect me from the evil of Your creatures among jinn and humans. O Allah, O Most Merciful, O Most Compassionate.
وقت شام میرا ظلم تیرے عفو کی پناہ میں آیا ہے، وقت شام میرے گناہ تیری بخشش کی پناہ میں آئے ہیں، وقت شام میرا خوف تیری امان کی پناہ میں آیا ہے، وقت شام میری ذلت تیری عزت کی پناہ میں آئی ہے، وقت شام میری محتاجی تیری بے نیازی کی پناہ میں آئی ہے، وقت شام میرا بوسیدہ چہرہ تیرے باقی رہنے والے چہرے کی پناہ میں آیا ہے۔ اے معبود! مجھے اپنی عافیت کا لباس پہنا، مجھے اپنی رحمت سے ڈھانپ دے اور اپنی کرامت کے ذریعے روشن کردے اور اپنی مخلوق میں جن و انس کے شر سے بچالے، اے اللہ اے رحم والے اے مہربان۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
At that time, it is highly advisable to engage yourself in uttering expressions of glorification of Almighty Allah and implorations for His forgiveness, because this hour is as honorable and estimable as the pre-sunrise hour, as Almighty Allah has said in the Holy Qur’an…
بہت ہی اچھا ہوگا اگر اس وقت تسبیح و استغفار میں مشغول رہے کیونکہ اس وقت کی بھی وہی فضیلت ہے جو طلوع آفتاب سے پہلے کے وقت کی فضیلت ہے جیسا کہ خدا تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے۔۔۔
وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوْعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ الْغُرُوْبِ۔
Wasabbih bihamdi rabbika qabla tuloo'i ash-shamsi waqabla al-ghuroob.
And sing the praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before the setting.
طلوعِ آفتاب سے پہلے اور غروب آفتاب سے پہلے اپنے رب کی تسبیح کیا کریں۔
Imam Sadiq (a) is reported to have said, “When the color of the sun changes (the sun is about to set), you must remember Allah the Almighty and Majestic. If you are at that hour with one who preoccupies you from this, you must leave him and supplicate.”…
امام جعفر صادقؑ سے منقول ہے کہ جب سورج غروب ہونے پر آجائے تو ذکر خدا میں مصروف ہو جائے اور اگر لوگوں میں بیٹھا ہو کہ وہ اسے ذکر الٰہی سے غافل کر دیں تو فورًا ان کے پاس سے اُٹھ جائے اور ذکر و دعا میں لگ جائے پس غروب آفتاب کے وقت یہ دعا پڑھے۔۔۔
يَا مَنْ خَتَمَ النُّبُوَّةَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهٖ اِخْتِمْ لِىْ فِىْ يَوْمِىْ هٰذَا بِخَيْرٍ وَشَهْرِىْ بِخَيْرٍ وَسَنَتِىْ بِخَيْرٍ وَعُمْرِىْ بِخَيْرٍ۔
Yaa man khatama an-nubuwwata bimuhammadin sallaa allaahu 'alayhi wa-aalihee ikhtim lee fee yawmee haazaa bikhayrin washahree bikhayrin wasanatee bikhayrin wa'umree bikhayr.
O He who sealed prophethood with Muhammad may Allah bless him and his family seal for me this day with goodness, this month with goodness, this year with goodness, and my lifetime with goodness.
اے وہ جس نے حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم پر نبوت ختم فرمائی میرے آج کے دن کو خیر پر ختم کر، اس مہینے کو اس سال کو اور میری زندگی خیر پر ختم فرمانا۔
