دھدر (مسوں)
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اِذَا وَقَعَتِ الْوَاقِعَةُ
Izaa waqa’atil waaqi’ah.
When the great event comes to pass
جب قیامت برپا ہو گی۔
لَيْسَ لِوَقْعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ
Laisa liwaq’atihaa kaazibah.
There is no belying its coming to pass-
اور اس کے قائم ہونے میں ذرا بھی جھوٹ نہیں ہے۔
خَافِضَةٌ رَّافِعَةٌ
Khafidatur raafi’ah.
Abasing (one party), exalting (the other)
وہ الٹ پلٹ کر دینے والی ہو گی۔
اِذَا رُجَّتِ الْاَرْضُ رَجًّا
Izaa rujjatil ardu rajjaa.
When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking
جب زمین کو زبردست جھٹکے لگیں گے۔
وَبُسَّتِ الْجِبَالُ بَسًّا
Wa bussatil jibaalu bassaa.
And the mountains shall be made to crumble with (an awful) crumbling
اور پہاڑ بالکل چور چور ہو جائیں گے۔
فَكَانَتْ هَبَاۗءً مُّنْۢبَثًّا
Fakaanat habaaa’am mumbassaa.
So that they shall be as scattered dust.
پھر ذرّات بن کر منتشر ہو جائیں گے۔

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
وَيَسْئَلُوْنَكَ عَنِ الْجِبَالِ فَقُلْ يَنْسِفُهَا رَبِّيْ نَسْفًا
Wa yas’aloonaka ’anil jibaali faqul yansifuhaa rabbee nasfaa.
And they ask you about the mountains. Say: My Lord will carry them away from the roots.
اور یہ لوگ آپ سے پہاڑوں کے بارے میں پوچھتے ہیں کہ قیامت میں ان کا کیا ہوگا تو کہہ دیجئے کہ میرا پروردگار انہیں ریزہ ریزہ کرکے اڑادے گا۔
فَيَذَرُهَا قَاعًا صَفْصَفًا
Fa yazaruhaa qaa’an safsafaa.
Then leave it a plain, smooth level;
پھر زمین کو چٹیل میدان بنادے گا۔
لَا تَرٰى فِيْهَا عِوَجًا وَّلَآ اَمْتًا
Laa taraa feehaa ’iwajanw wa laaa amtaa.
You shall not see therein any crookedness or unevenness.
جس میں تم کسی طرح کی کجی ناہمواری نہ دیکھو گے۔
