کسی تختی یا پتری پر سورۂ فاتحہ، سورۂ اخلاص، سورۂ فلق اور سورۂ ناس لکھے اور ان کے نیچے یہ دعا تحریر کرے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَعُوْذُ بِوَجْهِ اللهِ الْعَظِيْمِ وَبِعِزَّتِهِ الَّتِىْ لَا تُرَامُ وَبِقُدْرَتِهِ الَّتِىْ لَا يَمْتَنِعُ مِنْهَا شَيْءٌ مِنْ شَرِّ هٰذَا الْوَجَعِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِيْهِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا اَجِدُ مِنْهُ۔
A'oozu biwajhi allaahi al-'azeemi wabi'izzatihi allatee laa turaamu wabiqudratihi allatee laa yamtani'u minhaa shay'un min sharri haazaa al-waja'i wamin sharri maa feehi wamin sharri maa ajidu minh.
I pray the protection of the Face of the All-great Allah, His almightiness that is invulnerable, and His omnipotence which nothing can resist, against the evil of this pain, the evil of whatever is in it, and the evil of what I feel because of it.
پناہ لیتا ہوں خداکی بزرگ ذات اور عزّت کی جس تک رسائی نہیں اور اس کی قدرت کی پناہ جسے کوئی چیز نہیں روک سکتی اس درد کی تنگی سے جو کچھ اس میں ہے اس کی اذیت سے اور جو محسوس کررہا ہوں اس کی تکلیف سے۔
Then, the sheet may be washed with rainwater and drunk (1) in the beginning of the day before eating anything and (2) before going to sleep. This is a blessed and useful way.
پھر اسے بارش کے پانی سے دھوئے اور اس دھون کو ناشتے کے وقت اور رات کو سوتے وقت پئے کہ انشا ء اللہ بابرکت اور مفید ہو گا۔
It is narrated that a man complained to the Holy Prophet (s) about colitis from which his brother had suffered. The Holy Prophet (s) instructed, “Tell your brother to drink a mixture of honey and hot water.” The next day, the man returned to the Holy Prophet (s) and informed that the prescription was not useful. The Holy Prophet (s) commented, “Allah is truthful, but your brother’s colon is not. Go back, give him the same drink, and recite on it Surah Fateha 7 times as prayer for God’s protection.” When the man left, the Holy Prophet (s) said to Imam Ali (a), “The brother of this man is a hypocrite; therefore, the drink was not effective with him.”
روایت میں آیا ہے: ایک شخص حضرت رسول خداؐ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور اپنے بھائی کے پیٹ درد کی شکایت کی تو آنحضرتؐ نے اس سے فرمایا :اپنے بھائی سے کہو کہ گرم پانی میں شہد کا شربت بنا کر پیئے وہ شخص چلا گیا اوردوسرے دن حضرتؑ کی خدمت میں آیا اور عرض کیا: میں نے اسے وہ شربت پلایا ہے کوئی افاقہ نہیں ہوا حضرتؐ نے فرمایا ’’خدا نے سچ فرمایا اور تیرے بھائی کے شکم نے جھوٹ بولا۔‘‘جاؤ اسے شہد کا شربت دواور ۷ مرتبہ سورۂ فاتحہ پڑھ کر پلاؤ جب وہ شخص چلا گیا تو آنحضرتؐ نے حضرت علی المرتضیٰؑ سے فرمایا:یا علیؑ ! اس کا بھائی منافقوں میں سے ہے اس لئے اس شربت نے اسے فائدہ نہیں پہنچایا۔
صَدَقَ اللهُ وَکَذَبَ بَطْنُ اَخِيْکَ۔
Sadaqa allaahu wakazaba batnu akheek.
Allah has spoken the truth, and your brother's belly has lied.
خدا نے سچ فرمایا اور تیرے بھائی کے شکم نے جھوٹ بولا۔
