یونس کا بیان ہے : میری آنکھوں کے درمیان برص کی سفیدی ظاہر ہوئی تو میں نے اس کی شکایت امام جعفر صادقؑ سے کی تو آپ نے فرمایا: وضو کر کے دو رکعت نماز پڑھ کر کہو۔۔۔
يَا اَللهُ يَا رَحْمٰنُ يَا رَحِيْمُ يَا سَمِيْعَ الدَّعَوَاتِ يَا مُعْطِىَ الْخَيْرَاتِ اَعْطِنِىْ خَيْرَ الدُّنْيَا وَخَيْرَ الْآخِرَةِ وَقِنِىْ شَرَّ الدُّنْيَا وَشَرَّ الْآخِرَةِ وَاَذْهِبْ عَنِّىْ مَا اَجِدُ فَقَدْ غَاضَنِى الْاَمْرُ وَاَحْزَنَنِىْ۔
Yaa allaahu yaa rahmaanu yaa raheemu yaa samee'a ad-da'awaati yaa mu'tiya al-khayraati a'tinee khayra ad-dunyaa wakhayra al-aakhirati waqinee sharra ad-dunyaa washarra al-aakhirati wa-azhib 'annee maa ajidu faqad ghaadanee al-amru wa-ahzananee.
O Allah! O All-beneficent! O All-merciful! O Hearer of prayers! O Donor of the good! (Please) give me the good of this world and the good of the Hereafter, protect me against the evil of this world and the evil of the Hereafter, and remove from me what I am facing, for this matter has enraged and saddened me.
اے اللہ اے بڑے رحم والے مہر بان اے دعاؤں کے سننے والےاے بھلائیاں عطا کرنے والے مجھے دنیا اور آخرت میں بھلائی عطا فرما اور مجھے دنیا وآخرت کے شر اوربرائی سے بچا لے میری وہ بیمار ی دور کر جسے محسوس کرتا ہوں اس نے میرا کام خراب کیا اور غمگین کردیا۔
Yunus says that I followed the instruction of Imam (a) and Alhamdulillah was cured from Leprosy.
یونس کہتے ہیں : میں نے ایسا ہی کیا اور خدا تعالیٰ نے مجھ سے برص کی بیماری دور کر دی الحمد للہ۔

کتاب عدۃ الداعی میں روایت ہے کہ امامؑ نے اس سے فرمایا: جب رات کا تیسرا حصہ آجائے تو اٹھ کر وضو کرو اور نماز تہجد بجا لاؤ پھر پہلی رکعت کے دوسرے سجدے میں کہو۔ یہ دعا پڑھتے ہوئے خوب گڑ گڑاؤ۔۔۔
يَا عَلِىُّ يَا عَظِيْمُ يَا رَحْمٰنُ يَا رَحِيْمُ يَا سَامِعَ الدَّعَوَاتِ يَا مُعْطِىَ الْخَيْرَاتِ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاَعْطِنِىْ مِنْ خَيْرِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ مَا اَنْتَ اَهْلُهٗ وَاصْرِفْ عَنِّىْ مِنْ شَرِّ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ مَا اَنْتَ اَهْلُهٗ وَاَذْهِبْ عَنِّىْ هٰذَا الْوَجَعَ فَاِنَّهٗ قَدْ غَاظَنِىْ وَاَحْزَنَنِىْ۔
Yaa 'aliyyu yaa 'azeemu yaa rahmaanu yaa raheemu yaa saami'a ad-da'awaati yaa mu'tiya al-khayraati salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammadin wa-a'tinee min khayri ad-dunyaa wal-aakhirati maa anta ahluhoo wasrif 'annee min sharri ad-dunyaa wal-aakhirati maa anta ahluhoo wa-azhib 'annee haazaa al-waja'a fa-innahoo qad ghaazanee wa-ahzananee.
O Most High! O All-great! O All-beneficent! O All-merciful! O Hearer of prayers! O Donor of the good! (Please) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, give me from the good of this world and the Hereafter in a way that fits You, repel from me the evil of this world and the Hereafter in a way that fits You, and remove from me this pain, for it has enraged and saddened me.
اے بلند اے بزرگ اے بڑے رحم والے اے مہربان اے دعاؤں کے سننے والے اے بھلائیاں عطا کرنے والے رحمت فرما محمدؐ و آلؑ محمدؐ پر اور مجھ کو دنیا وآخرت کی بھلائی عطا کر جیسی کہ تیری شان ہے مجھ سے دنیا و آخرت کے شراوربرائی دور رکھ جیسی تیری شان کے لائق ہے اور میری یہ تکلیف دور کر دے کہ اس نے مجھے غم زدہ بنا رکھا ہے۔
Yunus added, “Before I returned to Kufah, Almighty Allah had removed from me all the traces of that disease.”
یونس کہتے ہیں : میں نے امامؑ کے فرمان کے مطابق عمل کیا تو ابھی کوفہ نہیں پہنچ پایا تھا کہ شفا یاب ہو گیا۔
For this disease as well as hemorrhoids, it is reported to write down Surah Yaasin with honey in a cup that must be then washed and drunk.
مزید برص کے لئے یہ بھی وارد ہوا ہے کہ کسی برتن پر شہد سے سورۂ یس لکھے اور اسے دھو کر پیے جیسا کہ بواسیر کے لئے بھی یہی وارد ہوا ہے۔
It is also reported to have the soil of Imam Husain’s tomb after being kneaded with rainwater.
اسی طرح تربت امام حسینؑ (خاک شفا ) کو بارش کے پانی میں گھول کر پینا بھی برص کے لئے مفید بتا یا گیا ہے۔
