Yaa Khaazenal Laiyleيَا خَازِنَ اللَّيْلِ

In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

O You who guards the darkness of the night in the air, and who preserves the light in the sky; O You who prevents the sky from falling upon the earth except by His permission; and who protects them both so they do not shift from their place. O All-Forgiving! O All-Merciful! O my Lord! O Allah! O the One who resurrects (brings the dead back to life)! O Allah! O the Fashioner (the One who shapes and forms)! And You O Allah, O Allah, O Allah to You belong the Most Beautiful Names, the highest attributes, the majesty, and the greatest bounties. I ask You to send Your blessings upon Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the family of Muhammad, and to forgive my sin, my ignorance, my wrongdoing, and my excess against myself, and (forgive) all that You know about me better than I know myself.

اے وہ ذات! جو ہوا میں رات کے اندھیروں کی نگہبان ہے، اور آسمان میں روشنی کے خزانے کی محافظ ہے؛ اور جو آسمان کو زمین پر گرنے سے روکے رکھتا ہے، مگر اپنی ہی اجازت سے؛ اور جو آسمان و زمین دونوں کی حفاظت کرتا ہے کہ وہ اپنی جگہ سے ہٹ نہ جائیں۔ اے بہت بخشنے والے! اے نہایت رحم کرنے والے! اے میرے رب! اے اللہ! اے دوبارہ زندہ کرنے والے! اے اللہ! اے صورت بنانے والے! اور تو ہی ہے اے اللہ، اے اللہ، اے اللہ جس کے لیے ہیں سب بہترین نام، بلند صفات، بڑائی، اور عظیم نعمتیں۔ میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ تُو محمدؐ اور آلِ محمدؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما، اور میرے گناہ، میری نادانی، میری زیادتی، اور میرے نفس پر کیے ہوئے اسراف کو معاف فرما، اور وہ سب بھی جنہیں تُو مجھ سے زیادہ جانتا ہے۔

O Allah! I ask You to forgive my sins those I have committed earlier and those I will commit later, those I have done openly and those I have done secretly. O Allah! Grant me wellbeing, pardon me, make my actions firm and correct, guide me, protect me from the greed of my own soul, bless for me whatever You have provided me, assist me in what You have commanded me to do, and protect me from the punishment of the Fire. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from pride and arrogance. And I seek refuge in You from being returned to the most helpless stage of old age. And I seek refuge in You from the trials of this world and the Hereafter, and from the punishment of the Fire. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from greed that leads to even more greed, and from desiring what should not be desired, and I seek refuge in You from asking anyone other than You, from seeking from anyone besides You, and from relying upon anyone except You.

اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے درخواست کرتا ہوں کہ تُو میرے گناہ بخش دے وہ بھی جو میں نے پہلے کیے اور وہ بھی جو بعد میں کروں گا، جو میں نے ظاہر کیے اور جو میں نے چھپائے۔ اے اللہ! مجھے صحت و عافیت عطا فرما، مجھ سے درگزر کر، مجھے درستگی عطا فرما، مجھے ہدایت دے، اور مجھے میرے نفس کے بخل (خود غرضی) سے بچا۔ مجھے اپنے عطا کردہ رزق میں برکت دے، اور جن ذمہ داریوں کا تُو نے حکم دیا ہے انہیں پورا کرنے میں میری مدد فرما، اور مجھے آگ کے عذاب سے بچا۔ اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں فخر اور تکبّر سے؛ اور تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں کہ مجھے نکمی اور کمزور بڑھاپے کی طرف لوٹا دیا جائے؛ اور میں تیری پناہ میں آتا ہوں دنیا اور آخرت کے فتنوں سے اور آگ کے عذاب سے۔ اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں ایسے لالچ سے جو دوسرے لالچ کی طرف لے جائے، اور ایسے لالچ سے بھی جب لالچ کی کوئی گنجائش نہ ہو۔ اور میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں کہ میں کسی اور سے مانگوں، کسی اور سے طلب کروں، یا تیرے سوا کسی پر بھروسہ کروں۔

O Allah! Send Your blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and keep me away from the evils of misguided desires, the innovations of wrongful actions, and the difficulties of severe illnesses. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from worry and sorrow, from laziness, from the burden of debt, and from being overpowered by other people. And I seek refuge in You from the trials of life and death. And I seek refuge in You from an evil neighbor and an evil companion in this world and in the Hereafter. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from hardness of heart, from heedlessness, from poverty and humiliation, and from misery. And I seek refuge in You from disbelief and destitution, and from the whisperings that disturb the heart, and from the scattering of affairs (confusion and disorder). And I seek refuge in You from showing off (riya), from seeking fame, from the loss of well-being, and from the hardship of calamities. O Allah! Forgive my sins, remove the anger from my heart, cleanse my chest from malice, and protect me from the accursed Shaytan.

اے اللہ! محمدؐ اور آلِ محمدؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما، اور مجھے خواہشاتِ نفس کی برائیوں سے، اعمال کی بدعات اور گمراہیوں سے، اور سخت بیماریوں کی مشکلات سے دور رکھ۔ اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ میں آتا ہوں غم اور پریشانی سے، سستی اور کاہلی سے، قرض کے بوجھ سے، اور لوگوں کے غلبے اور ان کی زیادتیوں سے۔ اور میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں زندگی کے فتنوں سے اور موت کے فتنوں سے۔ اور میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں برے پڑوسی سے اور بری صحبت سے دنیا میں بھی اور آخرت میں بھی۔ اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ میں آتا ہوں دل کی سختی سے، غفلت سے، فقر و محتاجی سے، ذلت اور بے بسی سے۔ اور میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں کفر سے، غربت سے، دل میں آنے والے شیطانی وسوسوں سے، کاموں کے انتشار اور بکھرنے سے۔ اور میں تیری پناہ میں آتا ہوں ریا (دکھاوے)، شہرت طلبی، عافیت کے زوال، اور سخت آزمائشوں سے۔ اے اللہ! میرے گناہ معاف کر دے، میرے دل کا غصہ دور کر دے، میرے سینے کی کدورت نکال دے، اور مجھے شیطانِ مردود کے شر سے محفوظ رکھ۔

O Allah! By You I live, and by You I die, and to You is the resurrection. And You have power over all things. O Allah! I ask You O Most Generous, O Ever-Near, O Ever-Responsive, O Mighty, O Compeller, O Supreme in Majesty, O Powerful, O All-Determining and I ask You to send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and to provide me with lawful, pure, and wholesome sustenance from the vastness of Your grace, a sustenance that increases me in gratitude, draws me towards You in need and humility, and makes me independent of all others besides You. O Allah! Make easy for me whatever I fear will be difficult, and ease for me whatever I fear will bring sorrow. Relieve me of whatever I fear will constrict me, remove from me whatever I fear will burden me, and lift away from me whatever I fear will distress me. O Remover of great distress! Remove my distress and the distress of every distressed person among the Muslims. Accept my efforts, purify my actions, and do not return me disappointed or rejected O Most Merciful of those who show mercy.

اے اللہ! تیرا ہی سہارا ہے میری زندگی کا اور تیرے ہی حکم سے میری موت ہے، اور تیری ہی طرف دوبارہ اٹھایا جانا ہے، اور تُو ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھنے والا ہے۔ اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں اے بڑے سخی! اے قریب! اے دعا قبول کرنے والے! اے عزت والے! اے زبردست قوت رکھنے والے! اے بڑائی والے! اے قادر! اے غالب قدرت رکھنے والے! اور میں تجھ سے درخواست کرتا ہوں کہ تُو محمدؐ اور آلِ محمدؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما، اور مجھے حلال، پاکیزہ، خوبصورت رزق عطا فرما اپنے فضل و کرم کی وسعت میں سے ایسا رزق جو مجھے مزید شکر گزار بنا دے، جو مجھے تیری طرف محتاجی اور عاجزی کے ساتھ کھینچ لے، اور دوسروں سے بے نیاز اور باوقار رکھے۔ اے اللہ! میرے لیے آسان کر دے وہ بات جس کی سختی سے میں ڈرتا ہوں، اور میرے لیے سہل بنا دے وہ چیز جس کے غم اور بوجھ سے میں خوف زدہ ہوں۔ میرے لیے کشادگی فرما ہر اُس معاملے میں جس کی تنگی سے میں گھبراہٹ محسوس کرتا ہوں، اور میرے دل کا بوجھ ہٹا دے ہر اُس بات میں جس کے غم سے میں ڈرتا ہوں۔ اور دور کر دے ہر وہ پریشانی جس کے کرب سے میں خوف کھاتا ہوں۔ اے بڑی مصیبتوں کو دور کرنے والے! میری پریشانی دور فرما اور ہر مسلمان کی مشکل بھی آسان فرما۔ میری کوشش کو قبول کر، میرے عمل کو پاکیزہ کر دے، اور مجھے محروم اور نامراد نہ لوٹا اے سب رحم کرنے والوں میں سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے!

My God and my Master! It is You alone whom I turn to with my supplication, and it is You alone in whom I place my hope for my needs. From You alone I seek relief for my poverty, and to You alone I come with my requests. So I ask You, by the honour of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, to fulfill my hopes in the aspirations I have extended before You. Do not cut off my hope because of my bad deeds, and do not hold me accountable for my ugly actions. Do not return me disappointed due to the corruption within my intentions. Show kindness to me through Your generosity and Your grace. Correct within me whatever is corrupted, and accept from me whatever is good. Let Muhammad and the family of Muhammad be intercessors for me, answer my supplication, have mercy on my pleading and my complaints, and fulfill all of my needs. Free me from the Fire, and admit me into Paradise through Your generosity, Your kindness, Your favor, and Your bounty O Most Merciful of those who show mercy! For You do whatever You will, and You decree whatever You intend. And may Allah send blessings upon His Messenger, our master Muhammad, and upon his pure family, and grant them peace in abundance.

اے میرے خدا اور میرے آقا! میں نے اپنی دعا کے ساتھ تیری ہی طرف قصد کیا ہے، اور اپنی ہر درخواست کے لیے صرف تجھی سے امید باندھی ہے۔ میں نے اپنی محتاجی اور ضرورت کے لیے صرف تجھی کو پکارا ہے، اور اپنی حاجت کے لیے صرف تیری ہی بارگاہ کا رخ کیا ہے۔ پس میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں محمدؐ اور آلِ محمدؑ کے وسیلے سے کہ تُو میری امیدوں کو پورا فرما دے ان تمناؤں میں جو میں نے تیرے حضور پھیلائی ہیں۔ میری بداعمالیوں کے سبب میری امیدوں کا دامن نہ کاٹ دینا، اور میرے برے افعال پر مجھے پکڑ نہ لینا۔ میری نیتوں کے فساد کے باعث مجھے محروم اور ناامید واپس نہ لوٹانا۔ اپنے فضل و کرم اور سخاوت سے مجھ پر مہربانی فرما، اور مجھ میں جو کچھ خراب ہے اسے درست کر دے، اور جو کچھ نیک ہے اسے قبول فرما لے۔ محمدؐ اور آلِ محمدؑ کو میرے لیے شفیع بنا، میری دعا قبول فرما، میرے تضرع اور میری فریاد پر رحم فرما، اور میری تمام حاجتیں پوری فرما۔ مجھے آگ سے آزاد کر دے، اور اپنے جود، اپنی کرم نوازی، اپنے احسان اور اپنے فضل کے صدقے مجھے جنت میں داخل فرما اے سب سے بڑھ کر رحم کرنے والے! بے شک تُو جو چاہے کرتا ہے، اور جس کا ارادہ کرے اس کا فیصلہ فرماتا ہے۔ اور اللہ کی رحمت ہو اس کے رسول، ہمارے سردار محمدؐ نبی، اور اُن کی آلؑ پر، اور بے شمار سلامتی ہو۔

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
