10th Muharram
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَاوَارِثَ آدَمَ صَفْوَةِ اللهِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَاوَارِثَ نُوْحٍ نَبِىِّ اللهِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَاوَارِثَ اِبْرَاهَيْمَ خَلِيْلِ اللهِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَاوَارِثَ مُوْسٰى كَلِيْمِ اللهِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَاوَارِثَ عِيْسٰى رُوْحِ اللهِ۔
As-salaamo a’laika yaa waaresa aadama safwa-til laahe.
As-salaamo a’laika yaa waaresa noo-hin nabiyyil laahe.
As-salaamo a’laika yaa waaresa ibraa-heema khalee-lil laahe.
As-salaamo a’laika yaa waaresa moosaa kalee-mil laahe.
As-salaamo a’laika yaa waaresa ee’saa roohil laahe.
Peace be on you, O inheritor of Adam, who was sincerely attached to Allah! Peace be on you, O inheritor of Nooh, the Prophet of Allah! Peace be on you, O inheritor of Ibraaheem, familiar beloved friend of Allah! Peace be on you, O inheritor of Moosa, who received direct communication from Allah! Peace be on you, O inheritor of E’esaa, who received peace of mind, joy and mercy from Allah!
آپ پر سلام ہو اے آدمؑ کے وارث جو برگزیدۂ خدا ہیں آپ پر سلام ہو اے نوح ؑکے وارث جو اللہ کے نبی ہیں آپ پر سلام ہو اے ابراہیم ؑکے وارث جو اللہ کے دوست ہیں آپ پر سلام ہو اے موسیٰٰ ؑکے وارث جو خدا کے کلیم ؑہیں آپ پر سلام ہو اے عیسٰی ؑکے وارث جو خدا کی روح ہیں۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَاوَارِثَ مُحَمَّدٍ حَبِيْبِ اللهِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَاوَارِثَ عَلِىٍّ اَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَلِىِّ اللهِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ الْحَسَنِ الشَّهِيْدِ سِبْطِ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَابْنَ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ۔
As-salaamo a’laika yaa waaresa mohammadin habee-bil laahe.
As-salaamo a’laika yaa waaresa a’liyyin ameeril mo-meneena waliyyil laahe.
As-salaamo a’laika yaa waare-sal hasa-nish shahee-de sibte rasoolil laahe.
As-salaamo a’laika yabna rasoolil laahe.
Peace be on you, O inheritor of Muhammad, the select most beloved friend of Allah! Peace be on you, O inheritor of Ali, the commander of the faithfuls, chosen in preference over all others by Allah as His close friend and deputy! Peace be on you, O inheritor of Hasan, who sacrificed his life in the way of Allah to give witness, the (grand) son of the Messenger of Allah! Peace be on you, O (grand) son of the Messenger of Allah!
آپ پر سلام ہو اے محمدؐ کے وارث جو خدا کے حبیب ہیں آپ پر سلام ہو اے علیؑ کے وارث جو مؤمنوں کے امیر اور ولیِ خدا ہیں آپ پر سلام ہو اے حسنؑ کے وارث جو شہید ہیں اللہ کے رسولؐ کے نواسے ہیں آپ پر سلام ہو اے خدا کے رسول ؐکے فرزند۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ الْبَشِيْرِ النَّذِيْرِ وَابْنَ سَيِّدِ الْوَصِيِّيْنَ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَابْنَ فَاطِمَةَ سَيِّدَةِ نِسَاۗءِ الْعالَمِيْنَ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَااَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَاخِيَرَةَ اللهِ وَابْنَ خِيَرَتِهٖ۔
As-salaamo a’laika yabna bashee-rin nazee-re wabna sayyedil wasiy-yeena.
As-salaamo a’laika yabna faatema-ta sayyada-te nesaaa-il aa’lameena.
As-salaamo a’laika yaa abaa a’bdil laahe.
As-salaamo a’laika yaa khe-yara-tal laahe wabna khe-yara-te-hi.
Peace be on you, O son of the joy and hope of mankind, dedicated to Allah, the first of the (divinely appointed) successors! Peace be on you, O son of Fatimah the principal leader from among all the women of the worlds! Peace be on you, O Aba Abdullah! Peace be on you, O the select exquisite good who inherited the disposition from his father!
آپ پر سلام ہو اے بشیر و نذیر اور وصیوں کے سردار کے فرزند آپ پر سلام ہو اے فرزندِ فاطمہؑ جو جہانوں کی عورتوں کی سردار ہیں آپ پر سلام ہو اے ابو عبداؑللہ!آپ پر سلام ہو اے خدا کے پسند کیے ہوئے اور پسندیدہ کے فرزند۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَاثَارَ اللهِ وَابْنَ ثَارِهٖ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْوِتْرُ الْمَوْتُوْرُ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْاِمَامُ الْهَادِىِّ الزَّكِىُّ وَعَلٰى اَرْوَاحٍ حَلَّتْ بِفِنَاۗئِكَ وَاَقَامَتْ فِىْ جِوَارِكَ وَوَفَدَتْ مَعَ زُوَّارِكَ۔
AS-SALAAMO A’LAIKA YAA SAARAL LAAHE WABNA SAARE-HI.
AS-SALAAMO A’LAIKA AYYO-HAL WIT-RUL MAWTOO-RO.
AS-SALAAMO A’LAIKA AYYO-HAL IMAAMUL HAADIY-YIZ ZAKIYYO WA A’LAA ARWAA-HIN HALLAT BE-FENAA'e KA WA AQAA-MAT FEE JE-WAARE-KA WA WAFA-DAT MA-A’ZUW-WAARE-KA.
Peace be on you, who fought fearlessly in the way of Allah as his father always did! Peace be on you, who was isolated and then had been attacked with a vengeance! Peace be on you, the just Guide-Leader, and on those souls who had gathered in your camp, stayed with you, and the last minute new-comers who joined you to support your cause.
آپ پر سلام ہو اے شہیدِ راہِ خدا اور شہید کے فرزند، آپ پر سلام ہو اے وہ مقتول جس کے قاتل ہلاک ہوگئے آپ پرسلام ہو اے ہدایت و پاکیزگی والے امام اور سلام ان روحوں پر جوآپ کے آستانے پر سوگئیں اور آپ کی قربت میں رہ رہی ہیں اور سلام ہو ان پر جو آپ کے زائروں کے ساتھ آئیں۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ مِنِّىْ مَا بَقِيْتُ وَمَا بَقِىَ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ فَلَقَدْ عَظُمَتْ بِكَ الرَّزِيَّةُ وَجَلَّ الْمُصَابُ فِى الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُسْلِمِيْنَ وَفِىْ اَهْلِ السَّمٰوٰاتِ اَجْمَعِيْنَ وَفِىْ سُكَّانِ الْاَرْضِيْنَ فَاِنَّا لِلهِ وَاِنَّا اِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُوْنَ وَصَلَوَاتُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهٗ وَتَحِيَّاتُهٗ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلٰى آبَاۗئِكَ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ الطَّيِّبِيْنَ الْمُنْتَجَبِيْنَ وَعَلٰى ذَرَارِيْهِمُ الْهُدَاةِ الْمَهْدِيِّيْنَ۔
As-salaamo a’laika minnee maa baqee-to wa maa baqee-yal laiy-lo wan-nahaa-ro fa-laqad a’zomat be-kar raziyya-ti wa jallal mosaa-bo fil mo-meneena wal mosle-meena wa fee ah-lis samaa-waate ajma-ee’na wa fee sukkaa-nil razeena fa inna lil-laahe wa inna ilai-he raaje-oo’na wa salawaa-tul laahe wa bara-kaato-hu wa tahiyyaa-tohu a’laika wa a’laa aabaaa-e-kat taahe-ree-nat taiyye-bee-nal mun-taje-beena wa a’laa zaraa-reehe-mul hodaa-til mahdiy-yeena.
I pray and invoke Allah to keep you tranquil and restful, for ever, so far I am alive and till nights and days follow each other. At all events awe-inspiring was your severe test which made a deep impression upon the faithfuls, the Muslims, the dwellers of the heavens and the inhabitants of the earths; and all of them recognize your glory in the hour of trial, with a heavy heart. Verily we are Allah’s and verily unto Him we return. Blessings of Allah, more and more, be on you, and (His) praise to distinguish you and your forefathers, the pure, the pious, the outstanding; and their descendants, the rightly guided guides.
میرا آپ پر سلام ہو جب تک میں زندہ ہوں اور جب تک رات دن کا سلسلہ قائم ہےیقینًا آپ پر بہت بڑی مصیبت گزری ہے اور اس سے بہت زیادہ سوگواری وعزاداری ہے مومنوں اور مسلمانوں میں آسمانوں میں رہنے والی ساری مخلوق میں اور زمین میں رہنے والی خلقت میں پس ہم اللہ ہی کے لئے ہیں اور ہم اس کی طرف لوٹ کر جائیں گے خدا کی رحمتیں ہوں اس کی برکتیں آپ پر سلام ہو اور آپ کے آباء واجداد پر جو پاک طبیعت نیک سیرت اور برگزیدہ ہیں اور ان کی اولاد پر کہ جو ہدایت یافتہ پیشوا ہیں۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَامَوْلَاىَ وَعَلَيْهِمْ وَعَلٰى رُوْحِكَ وَعَلٰى اَرْوَاحِهِمْ وَعَلٰى تُرْبَتِكَ وَعَلٰى تُرْبَتِهِمْ۔ اَللّٰـهُمَّ لَقِّهِمْ رَحْمَةً وَّرِضْوَانًا وَّرَوْحًا وَّرَيْحَانًا۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلَاىَ يَا اَبَا عَبْدِاللهِ يَابْنَ خاتَمِ النَّبِيِّيْنَ وَيَا بْنَ سَيِّدِ الْوَصِيِّيْنَ وَيَا بْنَ سَيِّدَةِ نِسَاۗءِ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ۔
As-salaamo a’laika yaa mawlaaya wa a’lai-him wa a’laa roohe-ka wa a’laa ar-waahe-him wa a’laa turbate-ka wa a’laa turbate-him.
Allaahumma laqqe-him rahma-tan wa rizwaa-nan wa rawhan wa raiy-haa-nan.
As-salaamo a’laika yaa mawlaaya yaa abaa a’bdil laahe yabna khaate-min nabiy-yeena wa yabna sayyedil wasiy-yeena wa yabna sayyeda-te nesaaa-il aa’lameena.
Peace be on you, O Mawla, and on them, tranquillity and repose be for you and them in your and their resting abodes. O my Allah let Thy mercy, pleasure, bliss and fragrance go and meet them face to face. Peace be on you, O Mawla! O Abaa Abdullah! O son of the last Prophet, the son of the first of the successors, the son of the principal leader among women.
آپ پر سلام ہو اے میرے آقا اور ان سب پرسلام ہو آپ کی روح پر اور ان کی روحوں پر اور سلام ہو آپ کے مزار پر اور ان کے مزاروں پر اے اللہ!ان سے مہربانی خوشنودی مسرت اور خوش اخلاقی کے ساتھ پیش آئے آپ پر سلام ہو اے میرے سردار اے ابوعبدؑاللہ! اے نبیوں کے خاتم کے فرزند اے اوصیاء کے سردار کے فرزند اے جہانوں کی عورتوں کی سردار کے فرزند۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَاشَهِيْدُ يَابْنَ الشَّهِيْدِ يَااَخَ الشَّهِيْدِ يَااَبَا الشُّهَدَاۗءِ۔ اَللّٰـهُمَّ بَلِّغْهُ عَنِّىْ فِىْ هٰذِهِ السَّاعَةِ وَفِىْ هٰذَا الْيَوْمِ وَفِىْ هٰذَا الْوَقْتِ وَفِىْ كُلِّ وَقْتٍ تَحَيَّةً كَثِيْرَةً وَّسَلَامًا۔
As-salaamo a’laika yaa shahee-do yab-nash shahee-de yaa a-khash shahee-de yaa abaa shohadaaa-e.
Allaahumma balligh-ho a’nnee fee haaze-his saa-a’te wa fee haazal yawme wa fee haazal waqte wa fee kulle waqtin ta-hayya-tan kasee-ratan wa salaa-man.
Peace be on you, who gave life in the way of Allah to stand witness, the son of a martyr, the brother of a martyr, the father of martyrs. O Allah I send to him in this moment, today, at this hour, at all times, a lot of greetings and words of praise (in his love and affection).
آپ پر سلام ہو اے شہید اے فرزندِ شہید اے برادرِ شہید اے پدرِشہیداں اے اللہ! پہنچا ان کو میری طرف سے اس گھڑی میں آج کے دن میں اور موجودہ وقت میں اور ہرہر وقت میں بہت بہت درود و سلام، آپ پر اللہ کا سلام ہواللہ کی رحمت اور اس کی برکات ہوں۔
سَلَامُ اللهِ عَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهٗ يَابْنَ سَيِّدِ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ وَعَلَى الْمُسْتَشْهَدِيْنَ مَعَكَ سَلَامًا مُتَّصِلًا مَا اتَّصَلَ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ۔اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِیِّ الشَّهِيْدِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلٰى عَلِىِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ الشَّهِيْدِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلٰى عَبَّاسِ بْنِ اَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ الشَّهِيْدِ۔
Salaa-mul laahe a’laika wa rahma-tul laahe wa bara-kaato-hu yabna sayyedil aa’lameena wa a’lal mus-tashha-deena ma-a’ka salaa-man mutta-selan mat tasa-lal laiy-lo wan nahaa-ro.
As-salaamo a’lal husainib-ne a’liy-yish shahee-de.
As-salaamo a’laa a’liyyib-nil husai-nish shahee-de.
As-salaamo a’laa a’b-baa-sib-ne ameeril mo-menee-nash shaheede.
Blessings, mercy and love of Allah be on you, O son of the Leader-in-chief of all the worlds, and peace be on those who gave their lives in the way of Allah alongwith you, for ever, till the nights and days follow each other. Peace be on Hussain son of Ali, the martyr, Peace be on Ali son of Hussain, the martyr. Peace be on Abbas son of Amirul Moomineen, the martyr.
اے جہانوں کے سردار کے فرزند اور ان پرجو آپ کے ساتھ شہید ہوئے سلام ہو لگاتار سلام جب تک رات دن باہم ملتے ہیں حسینؑ ابن علیؑ شہید پر سلام ہو علیؑ ابن حسینؑ شہید پر سلام ہو عباسؑ ابن امیر المؤمنینؑ شہید پر۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى الشُّهَدَاۗءِ مِنْ وُّلْدِ اَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى الشُّهَدَاۗٓءِ مِنْ وُّلْدِ الْحَسَنِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى الشُّهَدَاۗءِ مِنْ وُّلْدِ الْحُسَيْنِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى الشُّهَدَاۗءِ مِنْ وُّلْدِ جَعْفَرٍ وَّعَقِيْلٍ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلٰى كُلِّ مُسْتَشْهَدٍ مَّعَهُمْ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ۔ اَللّٰـهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّبَلِّغْهُمْ عَنِّىْ تَحِيَّةً كَثِيْرَةً وَّسَلَامًا۔
As-salaamo a’lash shoha-daaa-e min wulde ameeril mo-meneena.
As-salaamo a’lash shoha-daaa-e min wul-dil hasane.
As-salaamo a’lash shoha-daaa-e min wul-dil husaine.
As-salaamo a’lash shoha-daaa-e min wul-dil ja’farin wa a’qee-lin.
As-salaamo a’laa kulle mustash-ha-deen ma-a’hum minal mo-meneena.
Allaahumma salle a’laa mohammadiw wa aale mohammadin wa balligh-hum a’nnee tahiyya-tan kasee-ratan wa salaa-man.
Peace be on the martyrs, the sons of the Ameerul Moomineen, Peace be on the martyrs, the sons of Hasan, Peace be on the martyrs, the sons of Hussain, Peace be on the martyrs, the sons of Jafar and Aqeel, Peace be on all the martyrs who gave their lives in the way of Allah alongwith them. O my Allah send blessings on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad. I send to them a lot of greetings and words of praise.
سلام ہوان شہیدوں پر سلام ہو جو امیرالمؤمنینؑ کی اولاد میں سے ہیں ان شہیدوں پر سلام ہو جواولادِ حسنؑ سے ہیں ان شہیدوں پر سلام ہو جو اولادِ حسینؑ سے ہیں ان شہیدوں پر سلام ہو جو جعفر ؑاور عقیل ؑکی اولاد سے ہیں مومنوں میں سے ان سب شہیدوں پر سلام ہو جو ان کے ساتھ شہید ہوئے اے اللہ! محمدؐ و آلؑ محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل کر اور ان کو میری طرف سے بہت بہت درودوسلام پہنچا۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَارَسُوْلَ اللهِ اَحْسَنَ اللهُ لَكَ الْعَزَاۗءَ فِىْ وَلَدِكَ الْحُسَيْنِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكِ يَافَاطِمَةُ اَحْسَنَ اللهُ لَكِ الْعَزَاۗءِ فِىْ وَلَدِكَ الْحُسَيْنِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَااَمِيْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ اَحْسَنَ اللهُ لَكَ الْعَزَاۗءَ فِىْ وَلَدِكَ الْحُسَيْنِ۔
As-salaamo a’laika yaa rasoolal laahe ah-sanal laaho lakal a’zaaa-a fee walade-kal husaine.
As-salaamo a’laika yaa faatema-to ah-sanal laaho lakil a’zaaa-e walade-kal husaine.
As-salaamo a’laika yaa ameeral mo-meneena ah-sanal laaho lakal a’zaaa-e fee walade-kal husaine.
Peace be on you O the Messenger of Allah, Allah has given you the best style and manner to bear with that which your son, Hussain, encountered. Peace be on you, O Faatimah, Allah has given you the style and manner to bear with that which your son, Hussain, encountered. Peace be on you O Ameerul Moomineen, Allah has given you the style and manner to bear with that which your son, Hussain, encountered.
آپ پر سلام ہو اے خدا کے رسولؐ خدائے تعالیٰ آپ کے فرزند حسین ؑ کے بارے میں آپ کے ساتھ بہترین تعزیت و صبر عطاکرے آپ پر سلام ہو اے فاطمہ ؑ خدائے تعالیٰ آپ کے فرزند حسین ؑ کے بارے میں آپ کے ساتھ بہترین تعزیت وصبر عطا کرے آپ پر سلام ہو اے امیرالمؤمنین ؑ خدائے تعالیٰ آپ کے فرزند حسین ؑکے بارے میں آپ کے ساتھ بہترین تعزیت وصبر عطا کرے۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَااَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنَ اَحْسَنَ اللهُ لَكَ الْعَزَاۗءَ فِىْ اَخِيْكَ الْحُسَيْنِ يَامَوْلَاىَ يَااَبَا عَبْدِاللهِ اَنَاضَيْفُ اللہِ وَضَيْفُكَ وَجَارُ اللهِ وَجَارُكَ وَلِكُلِّ ضَيْفٍ وَجَارٍ قِرًى وَّقِرَاىَ فِىْ هٰذَا الْوَقْتِ اَنْ تَسْئَلَ اللهَ سُبْحَانَهٗ وَتَعَالٰى اَنْ يَّرْزُقَنِىْ فَكَاكَ رَقَبَتِىْ مِنَ النَّارِ اِنَّهٗ سَمِيْعُ الدُّعَاۗءِ قَرِيْبٌ مُّجِيْبٌ۔
As-salaamo a’laika yaa abaa mohammadil hasane ah-sanal laaho lakal a’zaaa-a fee akhee-kal husaine yaa mawlaaya yaa abaa a’bdil laahe anaa zaiful laahe wa zaifo-ka wa jaarul laahe wa jaaro-ka wale kulle zai-fin wa jaarin qeran wa qeraaya fee haazal waqte an tas-alal laaha subhaana-hu wa ta-aa’laa an yar-zoqa-nee fa-kaaka raqa-batee minan naare inna-hu samee-u’d do-aa’e qaree-boon mojee-boon.
Peace be on you O Aba Muhammad Hasan, Allah has given you the style and manner to bear with that which your brother Hussain, encountered. O Mawla! O Abaa Abdullah! I have taken refuge with Allah and you, I am near Allah, and you, as every guest and friend receives hospitality I too now ask for a hospitable reception, so please speak on my behalf to Allah, the Glorified and the highly praised, for giving me strength to untie myself from the drift that leads to Hell-fire, verily He hears the prayers and gives answer at once.
آپ پر سلام ہو اے ابومحمدؑ حسنؑ خدائے تعالیٰ آپ کے بھائی حسین ؑکے بارے میں آپ کے ساتھ بہترین تعزیت وصبر عطا کرے اے میرے سردار اے ابوعبدؑاللہ! میں اللہ کا مہمان اور آپ کا مہمان ہوں اور خدا کی پناہ اور آپ کی پناہ میں ہوں یہاں ہر مہمان اور پناہ گیر کی پذیرائی ہوتی ہے اور اس وقت میری پذیرائی یہی ہے کہ آپ سوال کریں اللہ سے جو پاک تر اور عالی قدر ہے یہ کہ میری گردن کو عذاب ِجہنم سے آزاد کردے بے شک وہ دعا کا سننے والا ہے نزدیک تر قبول کرنے والا۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
