It is a mountain outside Mecca at a distance of about two Farsakhs from Masjidul Haraam. There is a cave in it in which the Holy Prophet (s) had hidden during migration (Hijrat). This mountain is also called Jabalus Saur. The reason behind its name is that Saur bin Abd’e Manaf lived here for a long time. Late Shaykh Ansari (r) has written this supplication for the mountain of Saur in Manaasik. Recite this with a hopeful intention…
مکہ سے باہر اور مسجد الحرام سے تقریباً دو فرسخ کے فاصلے پر ایک پہاڑ ہے، اِس میں ایک غار ہے،ہجرت کے دوران رسولؐ اِسی میں چھپے تھے، اِس پہاڑ کو ’جبل الثور‘ کہتے ہیں، اِس کی وجہ تسمیہ یہ ہے کہ ایک زمانہ تک اس پر ’ثوربن عبد مناف‘ نے قیام کیا تھا، مرحوم شیخ انصاری قدس سرہ نے مناسک میں كوہِ ثور کے لئے یہ دعا نقل کی ہے جسے رجاء کی نیت سے پڑھے۔۔۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ بِجَاہِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاَمِیْنِہٖ وَصِدِّیْقِہٖ یَسِّرْ اُمُوْرَنَا وَاشْرَحْ صُدُوْرَنَا وَنَوِّرْ قُلُوْبَنَا وَاخْتِمْ بِالْخَیْرِ اُمُوْرَنَا اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ سِرِّیْ وَعَلَانِیَتِیْ فَاقْبَلْ مَعْذِرَتِیْ وَتَعْلَمُ حَاجَتِیْ وَتَعْلَمُ مَا فِیْ نَفْسِیْ فَاغْفِرْ لِیْ ذُنُوْبِیْ فَاِنَّہٗ لَا یَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَوْدَعْتُ فِیْ ہٰذَا الْمَحَلِّ الشَّرِیْفِ مِنْ یَوْمِنَا ہٰذَا اِلٰی یَوْمِ الْقِیٰمَۃِ خَالِصًا مُخْلِصًا اِنِّیْ اَشْہَدُ اَنْ لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ وَاَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُہٗ وَ رَسُوْلُہٗ۔
Allaahumma bijaahi muhammadin wa-ameenihee wasiddeeqihee yassir umooranaa washrah sudooranaa wanawwir quloobanaa wakhtim bil-khayri umooranaa allaahumma innaka ta'lamu sirree wa'alaaniyatee faqbal ma'ziratee wata'lamu haajatee wata'lamu maa fee nafsee faghfir lee zunoobee fa-innahoo laa yaghfiru az-zunooba illaa anta allaahumma innee awda'tu fee haazaa al-mahalli ash-shareefi min yawminaa haazaa ilaa yawmi al-qiyaamati khaalisan mukhlisan innee ashhadu an laa ilaaha illaa allaahu wa-anna muhammadan 'abduhoo wa rasooluh.
O Allah, by the standing of Muhammad, and his trustworthy one, and his truthful one: make our affairs easy, expand our breasts, illuminate our hearts, and seal our affairs with good. O Allah, indeed You know my secret and my open (affairs), so accept my excuse; and You know my need; and You know what is in my soul, so forgive me my sins, for none forgives sins except You. O Allah, I have deposited (this testimony) in this noble place, from this day of ours until the Day of Resurrection, purely (and) sincerely: indeed I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger.
اے اللہ! محمدؐ اور ان کے امین اور ان کے صدیق کے مرتبے کے واسطے سے ہمارے کاموں کو آسان فرما، ہمارے سینوں کو کشادہ فرما، ہمارے دلوں کو منور فرما اور ہمارے کاموں کا انجام بخیر فرما۔ اے اللہ! بے شک تو میرے پوشیدہ اور ظاہر کو جانتا ہے، پس میرا عذر قبول فرما؛ اور تو میری حاجت کو جانتا ہے اور جو کچھ میرے نفس میں ہے اسے جانتا ہے، پس میرے گناہ بخش دے، کیونکہ تیرے سوا کوئی گناہوں کو نہیں بخشتا۔ اے اللہ! میں نے اس مقدس مقام میں اپنے آج کے دن سے قیامت کے دن تک خلوص اور اخلاص کے ساتھ (یہ گواہی) امانت رکھ دی ہے کہ بے شک میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور محمدؐ اس کے بندے اور اس کے رسول ہیں۔
